Marvel Announces More “Heroes Reborn” Titles
Jason Aaron and Ed McGuiness’ Heroes Reborn asks what would happen if the Avengers never assembled. Of course the Marvel Universe would still have heroes. The new Heroes Reborn one-shots will explore some of these new and re-imagined heroes.
Heroes Reborn: Hyperion & the Imperial Guard #1, from writer Ryan Cady and artist Michele Bandini, follows the teenage Hyperion and his Shi’ar friends near the end of their cosmic quests, but they aren’t ready to say good-bye just yet. A quick mission in the Negative Zone ends up plunging the team into horror.
Heroes Reborn: Peter Parker, the Amazing Shutterbug #1, from writer Marc Bernardin and artist Rafael de Latorre, follows Peter’s new life as a photographer at the Daily Bugle. Peter’s a huge Hyperion fan and his new job helps him get chummy with his hero. Peter, camera in hand, will find himself in the middle of the action. What could go wrong?
Heroes Reborn: Magneto and the Mutant Force #1, from writer Steve Orlando and artist Bernard Chang, will explore the fate of mutantkind in this new world. Years ago Magneto and Professor X led the mutants in a push for independence against the Squadron Supreme of America. What resulted would come to be known as the Squadron’s Mutant Massacre. Professor X was killed, so everyone thought. Magneto discovers that Professor X is still alive, barely, in the astral plane. He assembles a team for a rescue mission that just might restore hope for mutantkind.
Heroes Reborn: Young Squadron #1, from writer Jim Zub and artist Steven Cummings, follows Sam Alexander, Kamala Khan, and Miles Morales. The budding young heroes are inspired by Squadron Supreme of America instead of the Avengers. Sam as Kid Spectrum, Kamala as Girl Power, and Miles as Falcon, take the name Young Squadron and are ready to defend the world.
Heroes Reborn: Siege Society #1, from writer Cady Ziglar and artist Paco Medina, follows the new team of villains made up of Natasha Romanov, Clint Barton, Scott Lang, and Victor Creed and their assault on the Squadron Supreme. Civil War has split the Squadron Supreme, with Nighthawk forming his own Squadron in Europe. Not everyone is happy about this development. Baron Zemo puts together his own team to take out the new Squadron.
The Heroes Reborn storyline begins in May 2021.

.@AdoGon21 talks with @MarcBernardin about his version of Peter Parker in #TheAmazingShutterbug
With great power, comes great responsibility. A timeless phrase with a powerful meaning. While it didn’t originate in comics, it was the pages of The Amazing Spider-Man that solidified the adage, transforming it into one of the most iconic comic book lines of all time.
Even if you haven’t ingested a single piece of Spidey content, the famous line tied heavily to Pete’s Uncle Ben has probably…
