Boundaries are tightening and space being made for the disciplines that keep the world turning in our favour. There are a number of theories about the moon. She is seen as the dark feminine, whose cycles lead us monthly through a process of death and rebirth. Some believe the moon is an artificial satellite put in place to control all those incarnated on Earth. Whatever the material moon is, the Moon card points to the subconscious and the shadow. It reminds us we make constant choices between acting from a place of love or a place of fear. Here the tendrils of doubt can cause you to second guess the inspiration of the Star. Who am I after all? Just one in 7 billion. One in infinity. Or part of the Infinite One. You choose. It is the nuance that determines your trajectory. All things are possible. Do when you meet the dark and fertile waters of the unconscious, be sure to choose what you birth from her depths. Integrate your shadows, seek peace and pursue it. Personal Value System.

In the face of the current challenges we are navigating in this bifurcating world, it is increasingly important now to examine our personal beliefs and value system. To get to the deeper clarity on what reveals itself to be the guideline to your truest nature. In our context this would be consciously participating with spiritually beneficial behaviors that help to define an improved value system and guidelines, for building improved character and Personal Integrity. Our personal values provide an internal reference point for what is discerned as beneficial, important, useful, beautiful, productive behaviors and actions, which we commit to for the purpose of developing ourselves and guiding our life. Our personal values are what motivate and generate our behavior and actions, it is what influences the choices we make in everyday life. Understanding ourselves enough to have clarity on what we give value to in our personal value system, is critical for building Personal Integrity and discerning what actions we take that are aligned with those values or not.

Every person has to choose the kind of person they want to be in this world, whether you decide to wear the mask others provided for you, or act independently to discover what you really value and how to think and feel for yourself.

Consciously making the choice in determining what is important to you by choosing a Personal Value System, puts focus upon these qualities so that you can align the choices you make to reflect what’s important to you. A person that has clarity on their personal values that guide their life decisions will make much better decisions for themselves. When we make many decisions over a period of time, if we remain clear and authentic to align with our personal values, all of those combined decisions will be coherent and form a network of purposeful and aligned choices that ultimately serve our best interest. With this level of self-awareness and clarity, looking back over time we will see that we were always being guided to be authentic, by aligning our personal values with our actions, which form into the deep inspiration that reflects the kind of person that we really want to be.

Ok, last Friday, I posted a video about completing 3 years without alcohol. Last night in Ft Lauderdale at the culmination of the ACN Elevate national event, I took this picture with Mr. @efraintejadasvp. In March of 2019, I was at my 1st ACN national event. After the 1st day’s training, he came and gave a leadership training to a small group of us. His topic… was integrity, not how we show up for others but ourselves, personal integrity, and keeping the promises we make to ourselves. While it was about seeing our business through to the end and doing what we say we are going to do in it, he planted a seed in me that day. I knew how many times I had committed to losing weight, abstaining from drinking, etc, and never seeing it through. I didn’t take action then, but 6 months later, Mr. Tejada came to Sherman Oaks to do a leadership training. Again, it was about personal integrity, watering that seed and weeding out the ground. 1 month later that seed germinated into me committing to going 1 year without alcohol. Now, it’s 3 years and moving forward. I’m also down 45 pounds since I committed to losing 90 pounds last December 1st. See your promises through. You can do it because you’re amazing! If I were God

At one point, every man on earth has said in his heart, “If I were God...” Every mother, teen-age son, contrarian nine-year-old, quietly assertive father, the family dog, have had a pretty good idea of how things should be run.  Meanwhile God himself gets on his human suit, and comes down here, and with the most spiritually in-tune of us itching to hear him roar, “I am God!” he comes as a baby, runs from tyrant rulers, builds some furniture, and seems to be really present with a handful of people over dinner.  Then he gets a following, and he is less than seeker-sensitive.  At the crux of his human-Godom, he does not consider equality with God something to be used to his advantage, but is faithful to a mysterious, redeeming, cosmic promise to drink a cup of suffering for the joy that was set before him - he drinks to the shalom of his brothers and sisters, you and me.  He absorbs the deepest darkness of ambition, greed, appetite, revenge and violence that was and is created when we say, “If I were God...”   This part of the story is so familiar that it gets reduced, so just for a minute: God, naked, staggering, humiliated, mocked - and not muttering under his breath, “Oh, just wait, this will be good...you mock me now, but I’m gonna come back and grab my true evangelical church, and we are gonna yippee ki-yay all over this place!  Mocked and muttering under his breath, “Father, they don’t understand, don’t hold this against them,” and to a dying criminal, “Comfort friend, this is not all there is,” and (from a CROSS), “John, take care of my mother, okay?” and “Father, this is all so hard, where ARE YOU?!” and then, “I commit to trust you with my very soul.”

💫YOU ARE THE UNIVERSE💫 In disempowering women, the Patriarchy created a burden for men that they were/are incapable of bearing. By emasculating men in retaliation, women have created an ideal that men cannot live up to. This isn’t about men getting in touch with their feminine side. Women, to regain their freedoms and survive in a world where fathers and partners suppress and then abandon them, have been overly identified with their masculine aspect for decades. We ALL need to get in touch with both these polarities and find the appropriate balance and harmony for us personally. In this society, we are able to take a two dimensional view on ourselves and say “this is my thing and I’m sticking to it.” We identify others by these masks and wonder why we are deeply unhappy. There are a multitude of facets to be expressed in any given moment. When we become conscious of these energies and learn how to express them in a beneficial way we see that every act, every word and response is nuanced one way or the other. Dominant is not necessarily masculine. Submissive is not necessarily feminine. And these flavours can interplay within a relationship of any kind without us having to dictate if it is ok for a specific gender role to demonstrate them. I believe in this sense we are all have the capacity to be Two Spirited.
