Last bit of work from the second year of Uni. This being the mountain project. A combination of the modelling module and the programming module. There was an option to do them seperate or together.

So I created a snowy mountain level with druidic ruins. It is inspired by the area I had recently moved to that year, basically in the Pennines. You can see in the first image that I gathered a bunch of photo references. Me, my mum and dad got up early, had some bacon, eggs and sosig before heading out on a drive to get some photos. At first I thought the snow had already melted, typical Mancunian snow issues, but once we drove a few mins in to the hills. Boom. Loads of lovely snowy spots to see. A fun day out, got cool pics and yeah. :D

I actually managed to find the videos I made.

One is a fly through thing, pretty messy since I hadn't fully grasped how to use the on rails thing before having to hand in. Was still tying up the way some of the puzzles worked. The other is a little walkthrough, I decided to not show my other half of that video where it's double the amount of time where I just go over what I did etc for the project submission.

Top Road. This raid runs high above the Calder Valley from Midgeley to Peckett Well. The sides next to the road are a tad steep in places but you get sensational views of the valley and surrounding hills. I said to someone once, it made me think of the roads I’ve seen on the Amalfi coast.
