Darla/Angelus is also great because the show has a competing designated OTP and they exist to serve as contrast and hateful competition to THE ship. they are soulless monsters even by the standards of soulless monsters, they literally make the other soulless monsters go "yikes... your relationship seems not good maybe." but they love each other so fucking much. the writers can't help it. they are constantly trying to find their way back to each other. the way she hits him over a head with a shovel and leaves him to an angry mob while he tries to say he doesn't mind dying if it's with her AND the way they coo about it to each other afterwards. the way she takes him back against her better judgement because she missed him so so much but then kicks him out again later because he still can't be who she needs him to be. that's just how they say i love you.

I don't begrudge anyone their campaign preferences, and I think there's plenty of valid reasons to like Campaign 3 the best and this is not directed at people who are genuinely having a great time with it, but it feels like virtually all the nostalgia and wishful thinking I see surrounding Campaign 3 is screaming "you guys want Campaign 2." You want more slow travel and downtime and interparty conversations and slow-burn romance? You wish their main focus was fighting governmental corruption? You want a party that only semi-settles down at the end and keeps adventuring and remains very close? You're frustrated by how everpresent and overarching the moon plot is? You miss when they were just fucking around in a city? I genuinely believe you want Campaign 2, or at best you love a specific ship or a character from Campaign 3 but aren't happy about basically anything else, and would vastly prefer the tone and events and plot of Campaign 2. And I don't really care if you watch Campaign 2, or if you think I'm being annoying here; I simply genuinely believe you'd be happier watching Campaign 2 than Campaign 3 and are so deep in a sunk cost fallacy well you can't see it.

thinking about doomsday again . the way the doctor grieves rose is so heartbreaking because you can see it in his eyes that he’s always knew this was gonna happen. he was always going to have to grieve her. he’s just…empty. rose, in pete’s world, is banging on the wall, crying, screaming with this childlike anger. it’s so visceral because she’s so young. she’s experienced loss before but not to this level, not this personally, not this tragically. the contrast with the doctor being quiet…..god for someone who is so unable to shut up, his grief silences him and it’s BRUTAL

i'll come tackle the monsters
Pairing: Evan Buckley and Eddie Diaz (911)
Word Count: exactly 4.5k lol
But Buck didn't seem ready to talk. He just shifted, moving so he could drop his head to Eddie's shoulder, before nodding slightly and hiding his face on his neck.
That is also new, Buck allowing himself to seek comfort. So Eddie waits, lets his hand find Buck's hair, fingers lazily moving through it until he relaxes against him.
“I thought you were dead,” Buck mumbles into his skin, still hiding, almost as if he's hoping that if he stays like this, it can't hurt him.
“It was just a bad dream,” Eddie tries to reassure him, fingers still moving on his hair, but he shakes his head.
“No, not- not now, I mean, yes, in the dream too, but when you- I thought you were dead. You went down and you were looking at me, but then you weren't and I- I thought you were dead,” Buck explains and Eddie breathes out a soft oh once he understands what he means.
“We never talked about it, about how it was for you,” he says, carefully, because even if Buck seems to be in a more open mood, he knows how fast he can shut down.
or
Buck has a nightmare and they talk about the shooting.

uuuh Hi!! Just wanted to let you know that your Erehisus are very precious and I REALLY love how you draw them ofaejfjournfoz
HI OMG I JUST SAW YOU REBLOG AND YESSSSS THANK YOU FOR YOUR MESSAGE THIS MEANS A LOT TO ME AS AN ARTIST!!!
ik this is a very VERY unpopular ship but pls dont mind the bullies!!!!!! they have no right to say what you like about a piece of content, especially one as harmless as the kind of ship EH is!! dont mind the number of likes or other's opinions of this ship, because at the baseline they're irrelevant!
it took me some time to take it back too because of how much others state they hated it and others in the community jumped ship, and i stopped drawing them because i couldn't stand the discourse:((
but now after going back, im really glad i did draw them! others saw my art and decided to give a positive feedback loop instead of a barrage of negativity and its very encouraging to see.
i saw ur post recently about drawing them and i wholeheartedly support you! be brave and make art you want! because someone out there will always appreciate it!
