❝ I don't remember telling you to leave. ❞
As usual his voice cut sharp, almost like a sword which was swung high up in the air, threatening to end the life of the users enemy. Who knows how long had passed since you stepped foot into the castle library and had managed to lose yourself amongst the endless sea of books that were scattered across the table, many of which happened to be sappy love stories. Chevalier had oh so kindly requested that you recommend him anything you fancy regardless whether or not you'd think he'd like it. You had just barely registered his presence when he first entered the room and had thought that he left ages ago. You read and read, the sky turning warm and orange, soft hues bathing you in their gentle glory, beckoning you to rest, just close your eyes for a little bit.
Darkness has fallen and the scent of sweet roses invaded your senses like never before. Warmth from another radiated close by, their firm shoulder pressed tightly against your own as you cracked a single eye open to see just who was keeping you warm.
That was how you found yourself in this predicament.
Eyes like ice, skin like snow, Chevalier sure was a sight to behold even if the sheer brute strength he was displaying sourly contradicted his oddly ethereal beauty. A large, gloved hand held your wrist tightly, deep blue eyes peering into your own, challenging you to move.
❝ I am well aware that I am being a nuisance, Your Highness. Therefore, I think it would be best if I just left. ❞
He said nothing, his face showed no emotion whatsoever much to your displeasure. A part of you wondered if he could hear just how hard your heart was racing, fear creeping up on the back of your neck. Without a word he merely lifted your arm up, brought it to his lips and pressed a tiny peck on the pulse point, almost as if he was trying to claim something valuable that could be easily turned to ashes.
You stared at him in awe and confusion, mind filled to the brim with millions upon millions of questions.
His Highness had made sure to show just how much he did not like your company on a day to day basis - petty insults which could even be called mean on occasion would casually be thrown at you, he would constantly pester you on how to do your duties and would "fix" everything for you. From how to properly cut vegetables to how to walk amongst the other snobby aristocrats, Chevalier somehow always managed to make you feel lesser than.
Why, oh why, was he suddenly displaying this odd token of affection?
He smirked, his lips were still pressed against your soft skin. You could feel his teeth gently grazing against the soft flesh, the threat of him biting you suddenly creeped up on you. He... He wouldn't really do that?!
That was what you wanted to believe.
❝ You're so easy to read, as per usual. ❞ - said Chevalier, his tone laced with the slightest hint of wicked amusement. For a split second he almost looked like the devil's incarnate. He was a person to fear, a man you should not trust and he made sure to hammer in that point to you.
... what sort of sick pleasure did he find in teasing you?
By some miracle you had managed to free yourself from his grip but chances are it was Chevalier himself that set you free.
You really wouldn't have been able to escape otherwise.
In a flash you had turned your back away from him and made a beeline towards the large door. Adrenaline pumped in your veins, becking you to just make a run for it, don't look back, don't even bother with the twisted prince but your curiosity won out in the end.
Just before you could exist you decided to turn your head ever so slightly, just to make sure that he wasn't following you.
Whoever said that satisfaction brought the cat back as a liar, you thought fearfully to yourself.
Chevalier merely made himself more comfortable on the now half empty loveseat, legs crossed and one arm placed on his cheeks as he stared at you, his eyes cold and calculated.
Part of you wished he would react like a normal man and just run straight towards you but he was not a normal man.
Chevalier Michel could be easily considered winter incarnate and if you stayed in that room a moment longer who knew what would happen.
With strength you didn't know you possessed, you closed the large oak door shut, the loud echo disturbing the eerie silence of the palace. Letting out a tired sigh you looked out the window only to be met with a moonless sky and a million stars. A single tear escaped you, helplessness filling your entire being.
Just how long was the merciless beat going to torment you?
And just when were you going to see just how much he adored you, even if he didn't know how to express it?

One More Time (Julieta x Fem!Reader) Pt 18
Tumblr media
As always I am not a native Spanish speaker, so if I butchered a sentence or word let me know so I may correct it.
This one ended up being super long so I hope it’s something you all find worth reading.
Part 18 of 20
Pt 19
I did not make the gif.
Things to note: Julieta is a widow. Reader is 30. Talks about depression early on.
Please don’t tear it apart too harshly!
It wasn’t unusual for Julieta to be up before the sun. She had to make sure she had everything prepared for the village. Today she was preparing but would not be distributing, she had already decided she’d be by your side today.
It wasn’t unusual for Julieta to be up before the sun but it was unusual for anyone else to be up as well. Julieta heard the soft creak of the stairs so she lowered the heat and went to investigate. She caught the back half of you exiting the house. Julieta frowned at your departure.
“Casita, keep an eye on the food. You know what to do.”
The clicking of tiles told her that the house understood and she quickly slipped on shoes and out she followed.
The sun was barely peaking over the horizon when you stopped in front of your store. It wasn’t a cruel nightmare, it had really happened. Palabras Suaves was really gone.
“Y/N?”
You turned to see Julieta slowly approaching you.
“What are you doing up so early?” You asked quietly.
“I’m always up this early.”
You noticed her hands were pale with flour and her apron stained. She had been cooking. You looked away from her and back at the rubble before you approached the ruins.
You paused when Julieta’s hand slipped into yours. Your first instinct was to pull away. You didn’t want the poison of your sorrow to seep into the woman. As if reading your mind she squeezed tightly and walked with you into the ash.
The two of you dug through the rubble and as suspected not much was able to be saved. Your cash register had done a well enough job protecting the money inside so you slipped what little remained into your bag.
Every family photo that your mother had put on the walls was destroyed. You found one that had been of the three of you when you were a child. The top half had been burned and all that remained was your toothy grin and the legs of your parents. In your opinion the most valuable part of the picture was gone so you tossed it back down.
Julieta watched your interaction with the photo and she was quick to pick up the smiling girl. She pocketed the photo and went back to searching.
In the end the only things saved were the money, a book or two, and the mugs you and Julieta often shared. Mirabel and Camilo had joined in your hunt at some point but in your daze you couldn’t recall when they arrived. Like you and Julieta they didn’t find much of anything.
You sadly stared at the ruined chairs that you and Julieta spent hours in.
“Lo siento.” You mumbled to the woman.
“Whatever for?”
“Your safe place is gone. Dolores’ quiet place is gone. Everyone’s favorite parts of this place are gone because of me.” Your eyes were glassy as you kicked a piece of wood.
“Y/N Y/L/N do not apologize to us.” Julieta said firmly.
“This isn’t about me or Dolores or any of us. That vile man took something precious from you and it’s no one’s fault but his.” She said and stepped in front of you trying to catch your eye.
“If I had just given him the deed it simply would have been sold. I could have begged the new owner to let me work for them. Earn enough to buy it back. You would still have a place to go if you were having a hard day!”
“Y/N, I think it would have hurt you more to see someone else take it and turn it into something it wasn’t.” Julieta said softly and reached up to wipe away your stray tears with her thumbs.
You dropped your head. You knew she was right. You knew there was no way for you to win in this situation.
“I don’t think there is much left here we can do. Let’s go back to casita and you can rest properly.”
You sighed and nodded and followed behind the woman as she rounded up the two teenagers. The walk was quiet, despite Mirabel and Camilo's attempts to cheer you up. The two teens quickly departed when they reached the glowing door, leaving you and Julieta.
“Come with me.” Julieta said and led you up the stairs. Instead of the guest room she led you to her own.
The last time you were there it was dark and dreary. This time the sunlight shone through and if you hadn’t been so wrapped up in your own thoughts you would have noticed the fireplace crackling. You would have noticed the soft chairs and the connected kitchen. You would have noticed all the books and the art hanging on the wall, but you didn’t notice a thing. You were simply guided to the woman’s bed.
Julieta pulled back the covers for you and you obediently laid down. Her bed was soft and her covers were warm.
“I'm going to go make you something to eat.” She stated, cooking has always been her way of showing affection and she wanted nothing more than to shower you with all the affection in the world; but her name on your lips stopped her.
“Julieta…will you lay with me?”
Julieta turned back to see your large eyes pleading with her to stay. She decided you didn’t need food, you needed comfort. You needed touch. You needed to feel safe.
“Of course.” She replied and crawled into the bed with you.
Immediately you curled up into her, craving her warmth. The woman’s arms wrapped around you and she held you close until she heard your soft breathing. You were asleep, finally resting and Julieta was thankful for it. She ran her fingers through your hair and sighed, she was at a loss at what to do. Magical food couldn’t fix this, she needed a plan.
——
You were quiet for days. You’d leave well before breakfast and sometimes you wouldn’t return at all that night. Most of the time you were digging through the rubble in silence. All the Madrigal’s were worried, but none more so than Julieta.
“She’s just so lost.” She said one evening as she sat with her siblings.
“That store was her everything. It was in her family for generations. She was raised in it. The last connection she had to her parents is gone.” Julieta explained.
“Maybe a kiss from our Julieta would brighten her day.” Pepa teased. Like the children she wasn’t blind, she just had more tact and chose to tease in private.
“No it didn’t work.” Julieta replied so casually that Pepa thought she misheard.
“Wait WHAT?!” Pepa shouted as she grabbed Bruno’s ruana.
“Did you know about this?!”
“Well I did have a vision that they would.” The man said as he worked to get Pepa to release him.
“When did this development happen?!”
“Well the first time I-“ Julieta was immediately cut off.
“FIRST TIME?! How many times have you kissed her?!”
“Pepa please! You are focusing on the wrong thing here. What can we do to help her?”
“We will be returning to this conversation at a later date.” The red head said, Julieta simply rolled her eyes.
The triplets discussed and bickered before deciding on a plan. Julieta was sure it would work after they tweaked all the fine details. It wouldn’t be easy but with the proper help she was sure they could pull it off.

🔥Sagittarius: Sagittarius, this month will be huge in terms of emotional exploration. With the full moon on the 3rd, falling in 8° Sagittarius; this indicates a revolution of emotional understanding. By the end of the month the moon will fall into Sagittarius- which speaks to this being dealt with throughout the month and ending by July. My advice to you this month is to take whatever experiences you have this month head on, and with a student mentality. You may have new experiences that could lead to valuable information, that could easily catapult your emotional growth. If you find yourself having problems with self-accountability, or resistance to change, this month will be detrimental for how the rest of the year will map out. You can truly manifest any version of life for yourself, but to do that and manage it long term; you must be able to look at your life, and your daily problems; objectively. Only then, you will be able to reap all the rewards that your optimism speaks to you!

⛰️Capricorn: Capricorn this month will be determining your investments and airing out dirty laundry. With Pluto starting off in Aquarius but retrograding into Capricorn before the months end; this is indicating a time of revision on the experiences within the last 20 years. People from your past, problems, and dramas are all a possibility of encountering this month. My advice to you this month is to be honest with those you care for whether it be family, friends, or a partner. Anything that may be coming back to the surface, shouldn’t prove to be destructive to your life; in fact, in many ways it may prove to improve current relationships. Trust is the foundation to many relationships, and once these discrepancies are dealt with; it will improve your emotional connections, while building trust in your relationships. Get ready for the shift!

🌬️Aquarius: Aquarius, this month is going to put a heavy focus on how much your relationship and family dynamic is changing. With June starting with Sun + Moon in 11° (an Aquarian ruled degree), this will put a heavy focus on the transformations happening within the home, and dynamic of their emotional relationships. This energy could be romantic, or family related, which completely depends on your current personal setup. My advice to you this month is to make sure you’re happy with the changes and transformations taking place in your life. If you’re being branded as something you’re not, speak up. If this energy is handled properly, you’ll have the next 20 years to hone in on the details. What’s important now is making sure you’re happy with the role you’re playing in your personal life, and in your family. If that’s set up properly, the rest will display itself beautifully over the next 2 decades. Make sure the people closest to you really know you!

🌊Pisces: Pisces, this month is going to have you feeling indecisive. With transit Saturn, and Neptune in conjunction with your natal Sun- you are feeling limited on what exactly you want to do going forward. You can see many different paths, but nothing that feels satisfying. My advice to you this month, is to shake up your routine and try some new things! Worst case, you find something you don’t like; best case, you find exactly what you’ve been looking for. Based on the transit degrees of Saturn all month falling into 7°, this is also an indication of sociability and partnerships. The universe is pushing for you to take chances, and so if you comply these risks will be rewarded. Single Pisces could easily run into a soulmate, or karmic partnership this month; so be weary. Keep your eyes open for red flags, but don’t shut down opportunities without solid reason. If the reason you push people away is because of poor relationship with the self, or past trauma it may be time to finally start working through some of the residual feelings left behind from lost love. The key this month is to have both your eyes, and heart open; not one or the other.

Resource L10#11: Part 3: Well, can’t say I expected this
Content warnings: Gotta say, not much. This bit is just Lionel finding a place to be and realizing he’s allowed to want things
....................................
Previous
Lionel stared at the man before turning his head to try and get a look at him from an angle to see if that would fix the issues he was having in identifying his features. It didn’t.
“I don’t really understand,” the Resource said slowly. “Partner? Perfect for what? I’m… just a Resource. You know that, right?”
“Yeah, and you’re epic!” Jay declared, and then Lionel was able to see the shape of the man’s mouth. Straight teeth with crooked canines and prone to smiles. “I mean, not to sound weird or anything, but you are exactly the kind of person I need. I need someone who can fight from a distance. Snipers are really valuable these days, you know, especially ones with the skills you have. I was never good at that kind of thing, really. I’ve got a bit of an eye issue that messes me up when I’m trying to do precision work that far away.”
There were his eyes. Bright with the beginnings of crows feet. The color seemed to change and flicker between blue and green for a moment before somehow settling on an ocean blue green color.
Lionel felt pinned to the bed, now that he could see those eyes for sure, anxious about his inability to get up with his tendon pinned the way it was. “I’m not up for grabs,” Lionel said seriously. “I’m property of the resource project…. Unless you have bought out my contract and this is your idea of an interesting first meeting.”
“Nah, dude. I want to get you out of that program. It must be stifling there. I hear you’re only allowed to have one hobby for your entire life. I dunno what I would do if I had to choose between bird watching and book binding.
Lionel really couldn’t figure out what to do here. He had been trained as a sniper resource with vehicular knowledge. A spy resource might be able to handle this, so he just fell back on the basics of what to say when you were captured by the enemy, especially a confusing enemy.
“I am resource designation L10 #11. Please contact my handler to discuss further options involving me.”
Jay winced, and his smallish nose came into existence, wrinkling a bit with his expression. “Ew, they’ve got you trained and everything, huh. That’s honestly the worst. I really need to get on top of stopping these stupid projects here pretty soon. Well, Lionel, what is your hobby?”
“I am…. I…..” He glanced down at the bandages on his arms and the pins in his ankle. He relaxed ever so slightly. When was the last time someone bandaged him up like this? When was he last properly taken care of? Heck, he couldn’t remember anyone ever asking about his hobbies. “I like macrame…. I haven’t gotten to do it in a while.”
Jay grinned. “There ya go. Do you want yarn or something? I don’t know much about what’s used in macrame, to be honest.”
“Umm… blue and purple cord?”
“You got it, boss,” Jay said, saluting in a mocking sort of way, but friendly. Like he didn’t really mean anything by it other than to try and make Lionel laugh. “I’ll be right back.”
And with that, the man was gone, shutting the door behind him, but not locking it. Lionel stared after him. After a good 18 minutes, he was back. He didn’t knock this time and came in with a basket full of string, cord, and thin ropes.
“I figured you’d probably be confused and stressed out,” Jay said, and his features were back to being unreadable. “So I’ll let you do some of this, get some of that stress out and then we can talk. Sound good?”
Lionel nodded, fighting the urge to snatch up the cord like a starving creature.
“Do you mind if I work on one of my projects over here?” Jay asked, gesturing at the table.
Lionel shrugged, grabbing the cord and working it over his fingers to get a good idea of its strength and texture before picking out one of the designs he had in his head.
Jay nodded and sat down, pulling out a piece of wood and a knife from his pocket. He began whittling a bit, humming here and there songs that Lionel had occasionally heard over the radio.
Lionel watched him for a moment before letting his mind drift a little. He was worried about letting his barriers down with this strange man, but Jay was right. He needed this and he had gone far too long without it.
His fingers moved smoothly over the cord and he made knot after knot until he had a wavy pattern all hooked up to a length of wood he found in the basket and attached to the device holding his leg up so he could work. He looped a cord to hang it by and then found some small scissors to cut it free of the spool.
Soon he was making another one. It wasn’t until his forth one that he felt relaxed enough to speak again.
“Why did you have your men do this to me,” he said as he tied a knot to complete the shape of a seahorse. “That was your voice on the radio ordering them to rough me up a bit, wasn’t it?”
The soft scraping of knife on wood stopped. Jay cleared his throat and said, “Yeah, that was me.”
Lionel let the cords fall in his lap, careful still to not let them fall in a way that would get them tangled.
“I told them to rough you up so we could get you to go straight back to the hero’s place when you were released. They were on our hit list and we were having some difficulty in getting rid of them, in part because you do such a good job of keeping an eye out for them. Not that they deserved your dedication with how they treated you,” Jay replied, going back to his carving where he was smoothing out some of the shape and getting ready to work on the details of it. “I didn’t expect my men to go down on you… um, quite that hard. I really didn’t want you to suffer that much and those guys are being disciplined as we speak. I really am sorry for that…. Though it did have the added bonus of making it so the government thinks you’re dead, so that’s great.”
Lionel stared at him, bringing the man’s eyes back into focus but they were brown this time. “How is that a good thing, exactly?”
“Well,” Jay said with a shrug. “That means that you can leave them and do whatever you want to and they won’t even send anyone out to bring you back or kill you.”
That was a strange sentence for sure. Lionel could do whatever he wanted? What was that supposed to mean? What was that going to entail?
Lionel looked down at his own work and picked it up again. Wanting sounded so foreign to him. “I’m…. not sure if I can want anything.”
Jay gave him another look, more concerned than the first one he gave when he seemed to think that something was deeply wrong with the way Lionel was thinking.
“You wanted to do some macrame, didn’t you?” Jay asked, gesturing at the cords.
Lionel frowned. He opened his mouth to say he needed it to keep himself mentally healthy, but then shut it again. He was fine for three months without it. He would have been fine without it for a lot longer, really. It wasn’t necessary for his survival because he could relieve stress through his job or learning more about vehicles and rolling a couple of bolts between his hands as he took a moment to think. He didn’t need the macrame, but when Jay had asked him about his hobby he….
“I… did,” Lionel said, surprised by this revelation, and then it felt like something was unfolding in his head. It was like a door he had never tried opening until now proved to be unlocked despite his assumption that it was bolted tight. And there were some very interesting things to be explored on the other side.
For the first time in a very very very long time, longer than Lionel could remember, he became excited.
“I could want…. I do want a peanut butter and jelly sandwich,” he said, unable to stop the smile from springing onto his face despite the training he’d been through to keep him from feeling or showing much emotion at all, but he decided that he wanted to smile. And it felt good.
Jay’s eyes lit up and his grin came into focus when he realized what was going through Lionel’s head. “Sandwiches we shall have then! What else?”
“I want… to….” Lionel hesitated. There were a lot of options now that he knew he could want things and even better that Jay would accommodate him. He could ask to leave and explore his wants but there was one want he was sure of that kept him from asking to be let go. “I don’t want to go back to the program. I don’t want to be retrained and I’m pretty sure I don’t want to be found out.”
“Perfect. Because my plan involves you never ever being found out,” Jay replied, using the point of his knife to carve out details. It looked like he was carving out some kind of bird.
Lionel finished up his macrame as Jay sent a text out and went back to carving. After a few minutes, the door opened and a macho looking woman came in with a plate of sandwiches.
“Thank you, Kait,” Jay said, standing up to take the sandwiches. “Would you mind letting Dr. Hitchcock know to come in later to pull the pins out of his ankle?”
“Whatever,” she said, rolling her eyes. “By the way, the boys downstairs want to know when their punishment is up.”
Jay looked over to Lionel. “The guys who beat you up have been doing heavy lifting busy work for a good 6 hours now. How much longer do you think we should have them keep going at it?”
Lionel hummed. “4 more hours?”
Jay nodded. “4 more hours. And turn on some of that country music they hate too, just for good measure.”
Kait chuckled and nodded. “You got it boss. Welcome to the team, newbie.”
The door closed and Jay brought Lionel the plate of sandwiches before taking one for himself. “So, are you interested in trying out being my partner? We’d probably just start out with some get to know you sparring and reconnaissance missions before moving onto the real stuff.”
Lionel thought about it for a moment and nodded. “I like the sound of that.”
“Perfect. Then we’ll need to consider what your new name is going to be. And figure out what kind of tattoo you want that will hide the one you’ve got going on there on your collarbone.”
“A new name?”
“Yeah. Something to use as a code name. I’m good to keep calling you Lionel when it’s just you and me hanging out. Oh! Maybe we could do matching codenames!”
“I’d like that…. Not sure what I would go by, though.”
“Well, if we go with the L thing you could be Lion, which might be too simple, or Lizard or Llama or whatever. I kind of think an animal name would be fun.”
Lionel nodded, thinking. He wanted it to mean something to him, because that felt like… living. He wanted to really live, not just survive to train one more day or perform in one more mission.
And then he remembered a training camp in the mountains, getting up early in the morning to go to the bathroom and stepping out to see a creature at the edge of camp, wild and free. He had almost gone to live with it when he saw it that morning.
“Lynx.”
“Sounds good to me. I’ll probably just stick with Jay. You’re actually the first person I’ve introduced myself to with that name so I think I’ll be safe to use it.”
Lionel nodded, intrigued.
Jay held up his sandwich and waited till Lionel copied him before he tapped his sandwich against Lionel’s and said, “Cheers! To you, my new partner.”
Lionel grinned and raised his sandwich a little higher as well. “Cheers.”

Tips On Hiring An Auto Repair Company
Problems with your car represent one of the most frustrating things that can happen during the course of a day. But, if you have a simple understanding of auto repair techniques and standards, you will be able to handle them with relative ease. Keep reading to gain additional information about getting your car the repairs it needs. Look for an auto repair shop that displays their certifications for everyone to see. Get a good look at it to make sure that they are current. Even if they are certified, that does not guarantee quality work, but there is a greater chance of the work getting done correctly. If you have doubts about the work of a mechanic or their diagnosis, ask if you can see the old damaged parts. A good mechanic will show you the part and point out the issues. If a mechanic cannot show you the old damaged parts, you need to check your car to make sure the mechanic actually put some new parts in. Keep good records for your car's history. It's a good idea to place them in the vehicle you drive just in case you're in need of repairs while you're out and about. The mechanics who work on your car might need to go through these records. They can find problems much quicker that way. Keep your car's owner manual handy. Knowing vital car information can really help when something unexpected occurs. If you know your car's controls, you may even avoid a trip to a mechanic. If you do need a mechanic, you should have the make, model, and trim level available so that they can figure out things like your transmission configuration, size, etc. much quicker. Your car owners manual is actually a valuable guide to the workings of your car. That means that you should not trash it as soon as you leave the dealer. It can tell you everything from what that light on your dash means, to how to perform basic maintenance on your particular model. Avoid unexpected auto repair problems while driving by performing a basic safety check before you set out in your car. Start your engine, turn on your lights and your flashers and walk all the way around your car. Check your tires and make sure your lights and flashers are working properly. This simple check will ensure a safer ride and help you avoid the need for emergency repairs. Try to find an auto repair shop that is located close to where you live or work. This may not seem like a big deal, but you do not want to have a hard time getting there when it is time for you to go and pick up your vehicle after it is repaired. Choose a mechanic that is happy to explain the problem to you. Some mechanics feel that they know so much that the customer could never understand, but even if you do not fully understand the problem or what is being done, they should be happy to try their best to inform you about it. It is a huge sign that they are a good mechanic all-around. Be responsible when performing DIY auto repairs. Just about every item you might replace or repair on a vehicle is environmentally unfriendly. Take care to dispose of liquids such as motor oil and coolant properly. Take used parts to your local junk yard or recycling center. Don't toss plastic bottles about the landscape. If you are unsure of where you can dispose of these items, check with your local waste disposal agency or an automotive supply store. If kumlama kabini are paying to have new parts installed in your car, ask the mechanic if you can see them. There is no reason why he should refuse to let you see what you have paid for. If you have any indication that the items are not new, tell the mechanic that you will be getting the work done elsewhere. There is no denying the fact that car trouble has the power to cause great irritation and disruption when it strikes. The key to handling such situations skillfully is possessing a good knowledge base about auto repair and how to facilitate it. Hopefully the information you read above has provided you with just that.

If you are paying to have new parts installed in your car, ask the mechanic if you can see them.

Jokes About the Veil, Disincarnates, The First Saturn Return, And Learning Properly
TLDR: Stop being stupid about the veil, listen to Saturn, and help disincarnates.
I’m starting to wish that people who haven’t had their first Saturn Return yet, and those older who didn’t learn much from it, would stop laughing at people talking about the veil. They imply nothing happens at times like Samhain, because, “It’s a veil, it’s always thinner LOL!”
The Saturn Return is a period of life where many things are falling apart. This happens for two and a half years, during the ages of 28-30. Saturn has returned to it’s original position as per your natal chart. Saturn returns two or three times in life. The first time is the beginning of Astrological adulthood. We get really serious about who we are, we can mature, and are held more to account. Responsibilities and new realizations seem overly-challenging. We feel weighted down by responsibilities. Life gets hectic and not in a way we want.
I got divorced, moved and had to change jobs during my Saturn Return. My insomnia worsened and my chronic pain grew until I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. In other words, my Tower fell.
Handled properly and consciously, Saturns return can later teach us valuable ways to manage our thoughts, emotions and actions about how we may be able to individually mark the world. At the age of 43, that was certainly my experience.
Returning to the topic of the veil, look at the chaotic mess that is the state of the world right now.
If you’re one who makes those jokes, do you actually think that spiritual things are any simpler?
You know that you can measure the thickness of fabric, right? Even a veil can be made thinner, until it fades to dust. That’s actually some of the time travel stuff that’s real; ghosts / disincarnates (a few of them have told me they prefer the latter term) trapped in their time (via their memories), who come through so that we can help them to properly cross over. That’s why you feel a cold spot; essentially a time travel region of a room, where a disincarnate is, forlorn or angry, and usually confused.
I suggest that if you feel one, you step back out of the cold spot out of respect, and help them heal from the traumas they experienced while alive. I explain that with their strength and will, all they have to do is think of being in a happy place, and they will be there. I feel their release from me. Say, "In gratitude, I hope you have an abundance of all you truly want, within the confines of equity of all energy exchanges."
Sometimes, this is an angry spirit, and it takes more coaxing to get it to cross over.
I can’t find a single Astrology book published after 2010 that wasn’t so basic, or so filled with misconceptions and errors that I would be embarrassed to delineate a chart with it. There probably are a few which I just don’t know about as there are so many, but the farther you go back in time, the more detailed and fascinating they are.
If low on funds, plenty of older and excellent books are available to borrow or download on Internet Archive. Leave a comment if you’d like a list of my recommendations (most of which will be Astrology books).
“Don’t have time”, with work, family and chores? Most of you also watch tv, right? Just cut down on some tv time and replace it with being a little bit disciplined learning something new. If you are before your Saturn return, this will ease it at least somewhat.
And don’t believe people who mope about saying, “Saturn never rewards.” He does, if we practice being disciplined with something.
We just have to find the will, and work with the proper tools which are all available, in order to receive those rewards. That’s not always pleasant, but it is a fair energy exchange.
Try to find more life balance, and things will be easier. Not a cake-walk of course, but not the hell which is characteristic of the first Saturn Return.
If you feel called out, please know I only do it to help.
