I was wanting Scar’s MCC 33 VOD the other day and he mentioned the idea for a Boatem team where he, Impulse, Grian and Pearl dressed up as Mumbo like he was dressed up as Etho in that moment.
Later in the stream Scott mentioned an idea he had for a Pirates SMP Team, but because there aren’t really any S Tiers in Pirates it would have to be one where all the teams were like Boatem with no S Tiers. So I thought I’d look at those who have played in at least one event and could perhaps be persuaded to return and tried to come up with 10 teams that I all think are just about balanced enough for an MCC.

welp. saddle up cus this will be a long one. if you havent seen the first part, go check it out. basicly i categorize mobs based on what they are, how they act and why they are here. this will add scrapped mobs, mobs from the spinoffs and more. ready. lets do this.

Now that he is finally in canon mcc, I made some teams for Firebreathman using Punz' avg.
Red Rabbits
Here fbm is teamed with Scott, who he has played couple of events with. Like the twitch rivals event and tubnet battle royale. They should work well. Then there's Impulse, someone fbm has already teamed with and won a coin. Their reunion would be pretty hype. And they have Shubble as fourth who brings in their love for hitw and experience to the table. Shubble is friends with Scott so the team could vibe well.
Orange Ocelots
This team has fbm teamed with Seapeekay. They are such a good duo because they are quite familiar with each other and have teamed multiple times in blockwars. They also won an edition of the creator's blockwars teamed together. Completing this op duo we have Aimsey and Snifferish. Both these people have skill sets that compliment the team. Aimsey has shown pop off performances in games like battle box and have shown improvement over the events. Snifferish is very good with ranged combat and I think they vibe well with the overall team composition.
Yellow Yaks
Another duo that will work well as they have already played in blockwars before, 5up and fbm. I would love to see them in mcc! We have Elaina too, who I want to be teamed with 5up. They played Pico park in a group once and I want similar chaos from them in mcc. Captain Puffy completes the team as the 4th member and as someone who has the most experience of being in canon mccs. I think this team would either sweat a lot or be totally chaotic. Depends on what they choose to be.
Purple Pandas
Fbm has played with Beky in two events, twitch rivals and the latest blockwars. I absolutely loved the team's vibes and I think the two on the same team will be very fun. Tubbo is friends with Beky and would be a great addition alongwith Eret who Tubbo is friends with.
Pink Parrots
Till now I have generally made teams keeping in mind who knows who. But this team is completely random and just a wishful ask from my side. I would love Phil and fbm to team because I think they would be a great duo. Jack manifold makes every team 100 times funnier. I love him. And Gumi is so choatic if she wants to be. I think this team is going to be so funny but also strong enough to have a chance to win in a similarly balanced event.

This may be because I don't know everything about MCC, but why do you say things like "Dream would never be on yellow" pretty frequently? I remember you were mad about him being on green too. Like, why does the color of the team matter? They're all the same at the end of the day; it just depends on who you're paired with while on any team.
you don’t get it… so let me explain ❤️ before mcc23 dream’s ‘curse’ is that whenever he’s on a green team, he underperforms, and his coin average is significantly lower. look at this for reference
ANYWAY the reason why i say ‘dream would never be on yellow’ is because there are two team announcement days for mcc. day 1 its red rabbits all the way to green geckos, day 2 its cyan coyotes -> pink parrots. scott, who makes the teams, likes to put dream on the first or last dream to be announced of the day, bc he likes to kick off the team announcements and end them w a ‘hype’ team w popular players. examples of hype popular people are dream, george, tommy, ranboo, wilbur, etc. therefore ur much more likely to find players like these on red/green/cyan/pink! as dream is the most famous person in the event, scott likes to put him on these teams :)

MCC 24's third game is Rocket Spleef Rush
Some things I found fun were:
Jordan almost DC's but doesn't

Phil gets some good height and takes the W round 1

MCC22 Pink Parrots Skins!
I may or may not have been sitting on these skins for a few days now. No comment. This is not a team I ever expected, but in a good way? It certainly made things interesting.
If this is the first post you’re seeing of mine, hi! I have made a lot of CaptainSparklez’ team’s skins, ever since MCC14 (links: MCC15, MCC16, MCC17, MCC18, MCC19, MCC21). On occasion I’ve also made skins for other teams, such as the Red Rabbits of MCC Rising. Feel free to share this, just tag this post so that it links back to me. Thank you! Ok, more below the cut.
I’m using my reddit username as the signature, don’t worry I’m not stealing from anyone.
Apparently I wanted to make things extra challenging, because this time I tried to make the team superheroes. I’ll let you be the judge of whether or not that actually worked out, but there was a lot of referencing MCU outfits. And also some DC outfits. I like the designs of the costumes in the MCU, even if they can be a bit similar. I’ll go over individual references in the breakdown.
I will say, the parrot on the back? Much easier. Seriously, compared to Yetis and Krakens, this one was super easy. I did have an early draft where it was more than the parrot head. It was super cute. Sadly it would’ve been off center. So I scrapped that in favor of a parrot head.
Sidenote, I have actually watched CaptainSparklez on Pink before! I watched both MCC12 and MCC13 live, but I wasn’t making skins at the time (that only started with MCC14). So it’s rather fun for me to make Pink skins.
Alright, now for the individual breakdowns.
Starting with TommyInnit, whom I never thought I would be making skins for. I based this off of the fact that TommyInnit is an Avian on Origin SMP (which both he and more recently CaptainSparklez play on). So I referenced a lot of Falcon (MCU) and Angel (X-Men). Wings are very fun to make, by the way.
Next, Purpled, who in this case is very much not purple but instead very pink. Purpled was tricky, but I eventually settled on basing his skin off speedsters (mostly the Flash from the DC cw show). Thus, his hood becomes a cowl which is lowered. It feels rather appropriate given his performance in Shallow Lava of TTGTOS.
I did try to leave the shorts on OrionSound’s skin. No it didn’t work out. I actually based his skin off of Superman. Not sure you can tell though, honestly. That cape was so hard to get right. Actually, this whole skin was hard. Except for maybe the parrot hat, that was kind of fun. I think it turned out alright though.
And finally, CaptainSparklez. I didn’t go as intense with the changes this time to the coat. I tried but it didn’t look as good. CaptainSparklez’ look I tried to base off of Gambit (X-men, though he doesn’t show up often in live action as far as I’m aware) and Starlord (MCU). Oh and I’m back at it with two tone glasses I guess.

MCC: Leagues
An MCC spinoff event, it’s MCC as normal, with maybe some minor scoring and cosmetic changes, where instead of having teams of four that change every time, each team (Red Rabbit, Pink Parrots, etc.) is instead a league of 6-8 people (not diff for each team, I’m just not sure how many people would be fair) .
There’s two ways it could function:
a) A multievent version, where it runs like a whole season, and each event is different players all from the same league, so players from each league become more accustomed to working with each other (more like sports teams than anything), or;
b) It’s a single event and during the event the players within the leagues can switch in and out of play with each other during like a minute/minute and a half period right after the game is chosen, to maximize their chances to win. (Would work better with 6 players per league so the whole team doesn’t change depending on game.)
I think it would make a cool non-canon event, and it would be very interesting to see how the teams perform if they are balancing their own teams each game.

I've been watching mcc since almost the beginning and I still don't really understand why certain groups are worth certain colors, I understood pink parrots was supposed to be like the most hype and other colors had curses on them for never having won a mcc with that color but that's it 😅
while I enjoy red rabbits and green geckos the fanart is so fucking cool and awesome esp rabbit dnf 😳 but I think it's nice to see him on a color he's never been plus now we can compile moments from this mcc to yellow by Coldplay and make more george colorblind jokes
in general scott puts the teams w most hype combinations/popular ccs on red/green/cyan/pink as they are the first and last teams announced over both announcement days! as for curses, dream used to have a curse where he just places worse when he’s on green, due to what happened in mcc14, mcc21, and some say mcc9 which is lime but still a green color. however due to his amazing performance in mcc23 despite being on one of the statistically low coin averaged teams ever, people claim the curse is broken :)
