episode 1 (the blood moon):

(things like trying to keep her from working with rush clovis). almost like he subconsciously wants her to know what he wants her to do, and then do it. so i take from that evidence;
he doesn’t want you to get a boyfriend are you crazy? you should’ve known not to do that. come back.
what i imagine is when he met you, it was less like the padme interaction. it was less pressure, he got to know you a bit. he saw you as a person first instead of an angel, a person with flaws that he took note of instead of ignore. of course, his infatuation with you grows as time goes on. all of this heavily reminds me of an excerpt from my notes that i had been writing up— just cos i think ur so special, 👑, and i want to contribute as much as u have— here it is, only a little edited to fit this narrative:

☥ when he finally has his outlet to let out these insane emotions within him— that the jedi cannot know about and/or choose to ignore within themselves or let go— they’re explosive
☥ like reader takes his virginity, one thing led to another and you and him were breaking shit in your apartment in lower courascant while you threw each other around. somehow he decided this was the time to do it. to go for it. after thinking about you so much after you two met. and you didn’t even know he was a virgin (besides very slight suspicions) until he decided to tell you a little before his dick ended up in you. needless to say you were impressed

Hello! I just wanted to say that i love your Tom analysis I’ve read it so many times and while I was watching Capsize and Tom interact, your essay of him popped into my mind. And I wanted to connect our points, if that’s alright?
The act of receiving items is something that is very indicative of the personality of both the giver and receiver. When it comes to the gods, Mianite gives a wooden sword and leather armor while Dianite gives considerably great quality armor and weapons in comparison.
You state in your essay that the relationship between Tom and Dianite is transactional. And I think that Capsize is as well with the champions. For instance, for building a ship she gives Tucker a map, for the pufferfish Jordan gets three redstone, and when she transports the mooshrooms to the island she expects payment for that.
But when it comes to Tom she gives him very personal and personalized items. Nemo, her old vessel whose sails she changed to red (used to be white), and a sword with unbreaking 20 expecting nothing in return for any of them. In fact he never has to fear her taking any of that away because she states that “ye can’t be claimin’ a gift back! That be rude!” (she says this to Jordan when he asks for his gold back). She even comes to his defense when Jordan mistakes the ship to still be hers.
In the beginning Capsize is adverse to Jordan not only being a captain but at the thought of being co-captains together. Both Jordan and Tucker are her subordinates, but her and Tom are on an equal standing because she named him captain of her old vessel! She knowingly did that, seeing how the sword she gifted is named Captain Syndicate’s Cutlass.
Someone who holds no expectations from him, respecting him, and going out of her way to be kind to him must be such a breath of fresh air for Tom. So unlike his god and even his fellow champions at times, once you get a taste of that it’s hard to fit back into an old mold of yourself.
Crazy how season one ended with the both of them being best friends.
(I hope I articulated that well. Anyways I also wanted to say that I love the way you use colors in your art. I think you make the colors really pop and it’s always a pleasure to look at when it shows up on my dashboard)

I honestly love that so much for them, you're makin me wanna go and watch the capsize eps from Tom's POV since I've only really watched Jordan's POV I NEVER REALLY. ended up catching a lot of this like. im actually gonna start sobbing /pos The idea of Capsize contributing to Tom's realization and shift from seeing affection and care as a transactional, conditional thing into something that has no expectation tied to it makes so much sense, it fits so well, it explains a lot of what i was picking up Im so sad I hadn't caught more of that earlier when I was writing like man. man. from Jordans POV all of the tom-capsize dynamic is framed as a negative thing bc of the chat shippers but!! no it makes so much sense why it never hit that way for me

yoooo guess who just realized my thoughts were spiraling and watched myself make it worse?
me i did, because apparently instead of trying to i dunno stop spiraling or something crazy like that i decided for shits and giggles i guess to just make it worse. like i did this intentionally. i knew i was starting to spiral, like not even to the point that it was a problem yet, and i just. made it worse.
like why? and more importantly WHY?? im me the only one it hurt was me but i also realized it was happening and intentionally made it worse for myself. why the being self destructive? i havent done anything today that i didnt want to do. its been a relatively good day. but nooooo slight mean thoughts because my anxiety was being a bitch and apparently me being like "ya wanna see a magic trick??" at me for no good reason
a mini breakdown is no biggie its the fact that im the cause and there was no good reason for it thats bothering me. took all of beetlejuice and 10(or so) hamilton songs to fix. over. fucking. nothing.
