Lucille had never thought that divorce was ever going to be something she had to deal with. It had been about a year since she and Charles Bernard Barton got divorced and she was still heartbroken. She had never even looked at another man when they were together at least not in a manner that would insinuate she had any interest. The reason for divorce was stupid, cheating... Who in their right mind would cheat on a man after over a decade of being together.

She sat outside of the Avengers' tower waiting for Clint to show up since he had agreed to help her move. Thank goodness for her the younger Barton understood that she wasn't in the wrong. She began to wonder if it was because she didn't meet the normal standards for beauty. She rocked back and forth as she sat on a bench, waiting...Waiting for someone to explain to her why this hurt so bad.

open starter: bucky barnes finding his sister

"I know you're going to call me crazy." Bucky explained as he looked at the other, this had been something he had been thinking long and hard about lately. Ever since he saw the papers and doing some digging on his family, he saw that HYDRA got his sister. And that meant there was a possibility she was still alive. If he was, then why couldn't she be too? The records stopped at a certain point and he wasn't going to stop until he found her or found out what had happened.

"I need to find her, one way or another. She's the only family I could have left and I'm going to fight to find her."

a mother holds her child in the ruins of a burning building from an attack from nazi's. she begs she russian soilder named ivan petrovitch to save her child. the soilder agreed just in time as the building fell on the girls mother, killing her.

she grew up by ivan's side and he watched over her. him being her only family.

red room -

with ivan thinking the young girl should learn how to handle herself she grew up in the red room. there, she was bio-technologically and psycho-technologically enhanced; an account that provides a rationale for her unusually long and youthful lifespan. in this account she never really trained in ballet in the bolshoi theatre, having instead been implanted with artificial memories of doing so.

kgb -

was drafted into the kgb and became their best operative, becoming excellent at fighting and information gathering. During this time she had some training under the winter soldier. it was there that she was first dubbed the "black widow."

- then after getting her name on them in a bad way instead of being killed by clint he saved her getting her to join. she became the best agent and apart of the avengers.

Bucky wasn't naturally a vulernable person, but having her sitting there by his side, the feel of her hands in his hair. That was his happy place, the simplest form of touch that calmed him.

"Don't stop." He teased as he felt her soft strokes beginning to stop, looking over at them with a sweet smile. He had never felt this calm. "Is it as good? With the hair being short? I didn't think it would feel the same, but it's -- it's nice."
