he knows he should have kept you at arm's length. when you saunter into his office with the invitation, he realizes that you were part of his 1% loss rate. and it crushes him.

he thinks he's not made for love. it's not a difficult truth, he can live without sappy and sentiment. it would be nice, but he can make do. but then you walked into his life the same way you did his office - full of charm and cheer, and it changes everything.

but he congratulates you anyways, because he's your senior and it's what is expected; and he attends, because he's your coworker and it's what is expected; and he doesn't object, because he's your friend and it's what is expected.

but he almost tears himself in half wishing that he was on the podium with you, the one kissing you, the one marrying you. he wishes that it was expected for you to be with him. fuck being seniors, coworkers, and friends. it isn't what he wants.

it's easier to never try something than to get a taste and never have it again.

MARIUS VON HAGEN

he wishes his heart had a refund system. marius was a jack of all trades. he had more money to his name than he knew what to use for. marius was the textbook definition of 'many'. unfortunately, his heart didn't seem to get the memo.

he's not a pushover. a no is a no, and it never bothers him. he does things by himself just fine. so he thinks that maybe he was total dickwad in his past life when he realizes that his heart a one time use kind of bargain.

so when he stares at you there, in white and in tears, he swears at the heavens. he isn't mad that you don't love him, isn't mad that he loved you, rather that he still does.

because he thought that if he'd seen for himself that you were with someone else, ultimately, he'd move on. that in being happy for you, he'd be happy with himself. but clearly that isn't the case, not with the way he begs whatever supreme being is out there to give him another chance.

VYN RICHTER

he's not going, no point in torturing himself. he was with his family, he'll tell you. he wasn't: he was busy denying himself the pleasure of not sobbing himself to sleep.

it was just another one of his white lies. like when he told you that he was glad you met your fiance. or when he told you that he was happy with your choice. or that time he told you that he was doing completely fine.

but he refuses to attend your ceremony. to hell with it, even if it means that he's being selfish. because deep down he wants you to get the day you deserve, and if he sees you there with another, he might ruin that for you. he might get up and object.

and vyn doesn't feel like ruining your wedding day.

LUKE PEARCE

he tries so hard to be happy for you. he's your best friend, for god's sake. if anyone was going to celebrate this moment of your life, it was going to be him. at least that's what he tells himself.

but how's he supposed to be happy when he sees the familiar glint in your eye. when he sees the little curve of your smile. when he feels your warmth, just out of reach. how is he supposed to sit still when you're so close.

but he takes another look and he sees you. your bright eyes, your grin, and your love. and if any other day, he was willing to fight for you, today, he'll stay seated. because you're happy now, and he'll gladly be miserable from his cushioned seat if it meant you'd have the wedding of your dreams.

so sure, he's supposed to be happy for you, but he knows you can be happy enough for the both of them.

on marius' personal sweet chapter stories.....i just wanna talk about The Thing these stories (both sweet chapter story 1 and 2) are Doing and how it makes me really emotional cuz like

in marius' sweet chapter 1 story: we see marius and mc help out timmy through his grief of having recently lost his older brother. throughout the entire thing, marius struggles with his own emotions and feelings about giann's disappearance.

in marius' sweet chapter 2 story: we see that in marius' efforts to protect pax and the von hagen name so that giann will have a good standing to return to once he's found, marius finds himself inevitably having a hand in firing kenji, who takes the fall protect marius. kenji, whom marius sees as an older brother figure to him as well.

whats going on in both these stories: marius' emotions and fears being prodded at, even to the point of intense anger in sweet chapter 2, because the events make him go through whats essentially a secondhand experience of losing a brother.

in terms of this possibly being foreshadowing, i feel very "ONE FEAR" about it all because it's uhhhhh not looking good for giann von hagen ;-;

but in terms of characterization and story, i feel elated because it's these kinds of stories that really show off marius' character, especially the traits and feelings that he tries to hide or sweep under the rug.

in sweet chapter 1, marius consistently brushes off mc worrying about his feelings and then, once he does finally talk about his feelings, he does so in a very emotionally detached kind of way (i wrote more in depth about marius and emotional distancing in this analysis here).

to emotionally distance one's self is, one way or another, a method by which to avoid confronting something head on. timmy's experience paralleling marius' own worries and life is something that marius is afraid of tackling. because thats family hes talking about. and family means the world to him.

in sweet chapter 2, the revelation that kenji did what he did to protect marius got marius absolutely enraged the moment it became clear kenji, an older brother figure to marius, sacrificed himself for marius' sake. thats something that terrifying for marius, because thats not how it's supposed to go, for him. hes the one whos supposed to be protecting people, to shoulder the responsibility so others can get out unscathed, hes the one who needs to take on these burdens not because of pride or anything, but because he wants people to stop getting hurt because of him.

other people getting hurt for marius' sake is one of marius' biggest fears. it pops up so often in all his stories, either the fear itself and/or the measures he takes to prevent other people getting hurt: his childhood guilt over thinking he caused his mother's death (SSR All Through The Night), him moving to florence for his studie so that austin and giann wouldnt get bad press about the whole pax civil war succession thing (SSR Precious Mornings), him worried about causing a man's suicide (SSR Daytime Aurora), him guilty over his friend who got hurt in his name (SR Vibrant Graffiti) like my god, and those are just the ones off the top of my head!!!!

he even says this outright in the story, right after the confrontation with kenji

to marius, kenji taking the fall for him is another person who got hurt because of him. and the fact that he did it willingly to protect marius makes it worse, because thats such an older brother thing to do isnt it? marius saw him as family. family means the world to him.

but marius did not want to be the cause for another person having to suffer, and for another person having to be gone, in a way.

sweet chapter 1 showed us grief from the perspective of a younger brother whose older brother passed away.

sweet chapter 2 showed us an older brother sacrificing himself for a younger brother and having to leave because of that.

now remember what i said about secondhand experiences paralleling onto marius' life and his own worries about giann? yeah. like, no wonder marius got so affected, upset, and emotional in both these stories;

he doesnt want to say goodbye.

I had some thoughts!! Some miiinor maybe kinda spoilers? Some may be mentioned in the story, some may not. So i'll put a cut just in case LOL.

Gunner!MC taught Marius how to hold a gun properly. It's kind of ridiculous how he went this long without knowing, but from the jump it's obvious the young man didn't lead a normal life before coming across Flynn. He just ... appeared one day, and no one really knew where he came from, though apparently he was related to Flynn's coveted Eva Beau. That kept most people away from him, but Musician!MC had no such reservations. Marius would've approached them first, complimenting their music with his usual charm, totally out of place at the Duchess with his shabby clothes and just-off-the-boat broken English.

Accountant!MC would've helped him get situated in Chicago best, explaining the places to shop and the currency. Distiller!MC even had him help around the distillery and storage, and quickly learned Marius was something of a vagabond - and he liked it that way. He had no interest in the straight and narrow kind of life. Callgirl!MC couldn't blame him, and the two bonded over similar taste in men and cons and fashion. Regardless of the MC's thoughts on him initially, Marius attached himself, and went from a fairweather friend to dutifully loyal within half a year. Partners-in-crime seemed to be something he was used to having back in France and England, and he was eager to reform that kind of bond. It's hard to see him as some hardened criminal, though, with that dashing smile and carefree personality ... maybe that's why he got away with so much and kept pushing the envelope.

Marius met with Jack before MC did. In spite of his odd looks and size, Jack kept himself shadowed and small. He was fearful at anyone approaching, and preferred to work alone, which was tricky - his face was too distinct to be out in public, he did not want to be found by certain individuals. Flynn was the only way to hide, and Jack was used to answering to a frightening authority. He wasn't used to a friend, and Marius' attempts were frightening for a while.

Eventually Marius dragged Jack along on his own jobs, and he was (mostly willingly) included in with Marius' friendship with MC. A femme!MC would be a bit more intimidating - he's still a young man with limited to no experience with 'womenfolk'. A Gunner!MC is especially scary at first, until he realizes they won't actually hurt him... and they know to best weaponize Jack's own 'scary' side. A Callgirl!MC quit teasing him early on, realizing how uncomfortable it made him, and got him to lower his guard the fastest. She often thinks that she reminds Jack of someone else, because he's slipped up and nearly called her by a different name a few times. The Musician!MC gets him to open up and actually sing along to a song - only if it's just the three of them, of course - and puts him at ease like Marius. An Accountant!MC can be something of an older sibling or even parent, fussing about his clothes and eating habits and overall ignorance of the world, not just the big city (how are these two alive? Seriously.) Distiller!MC and Jack, meanwhile, often share amiable silence as they observe crowds or work alongside each other. They both know when to reel Marius in and when to let him be.

Marius and Jack's friendship felt much more complete when MC joined, like a missing piece slotting into place. Their temperments suit each other well, and they know most of each other's flaws ... and most of each other's stories. Some things have been unsaid, or unasked, and that's alright for now.

Flynn cares little about the trio, other than they can get their assigned jobs done - he places little stock in Marius and Jack individually, and knows they'll fall in line behind the MC. He's not worried, but a certain other trio are thinking Marius, Jack and MC hold more loyalty to each other than their employer ...

Summary: Nothing ever goes according to plan. Now working side by side with Rosa and finding the answer as to how a plant from the Devildom that’s deadly to humans ended up in the Human World.

Pairings: Gn!Mc x Lucifer and heavy hints to Rosa x Artem

A/n: This basically just became a buddy cop story if you think about it. ⚖️😈

“I think I know where we can start.”

~Meanwhile~

Rosa had insisted you stay at her apartment instead of finding some hotel in the city. So here you were hanging around while she did whatever she went off to with Luke. You were laying on the couch, playing with your phone when it rang.

“Yo.” You greet.

“Are you still at the apartment?” Rosa asks, sounding oddly serious which makes you change your tune.

“Yeah. Something wrong?” You ask.

“I’ll explain once you get here. Luke is on his way to pick you up.” She says and hangs up without another word. So many questions come to mind as you get a text from Luke saying he’s here.

“What’s going on? Did something happen?” You ask as you slip into the passenger seat of the car.

“Rosa didn’t tell you?” He asks as he drives off.

“No she said she’ll explain when I get there. Where is there?” You keep prying. Luke looks at the road, seeming conflicted on what to say. He decided not to say anything and you make a face.

He pulls up to a building and Rosa was there waiting outside. You quickly get out and she rushes over to meet you half way.

“I know you have a lot of questions-”

“About enough to fill a cargo plane.”

She winced a little at your tone and you dial it back. She has a reason you’re sure, relax.

“I-we need your help with a case.” She began, gauging your reaction.

“We?” You repeat. You glance around and Luke was still there, standing off to the side then you look at the building. “….alright you two what the hell is going on?”

One lengthy explanation later and you aren’t even sure what to think. NXX? Rosa and Luke? Along with the other three you met?

You pace around as you take in what they told you and why they brought you here.

“I know what you’re probably thinking but you are the only person I know that can help us with this.” Rosa says as she walks up to you. “If I’m right, you did want to tell Luke at some point.”

“But like this?” You gesture to the building. You know she’s trying to brighten the mood and all but. “I’ll help.”

“Really??” She gasps. You nod.

“If you’re right then a whole lot more people are going to get involved.” You say, becoming serious. Rosa nods and she with Luke lead you inside.

No one says anything but you feel everyone looking at you and Rosa as she leads you to the table in the center. She hands you a small bag with a plant you instantly recognize. Although its effects to demons are that of normal happy drugs- to humans the reactions are far more serious.

“MC?” Rosa asks softly beside you.

“I know what it is.” You confirm, holding it up into the light to get a better look. “Best way I can describe it is demonic marijuana. Incredibly harmful to humans.”

“So that means…” Rosa trials off as she thinks.

“It is from where you thought it was, Rosa. Good eye.” You pat her back.

“Care to explain a bit more?” Marius asks. You glance at him and the others, sighing.

“It’s from the Devildom. Or as you would call it- Hell.” You explain. “Since it looks like I’ll be working with you guys on this. I better come clean.”

“My name is MC as you know and as the doc here guessed, there’s more to me than meets the eye.” You say and before anyone has a chance to call you crazy, you snap your fingers and the four men are lifted up into the air by your magic. “I can travel between the three realms and have pacts with the seven rulers of Hell. You might know them.”

You set them all down and cross your arms. They all look perplexed. Luke seemed to have connected the dots.

“Is this part of why you went missing for a year?!” He asks.

“Yes.” You answered. “I’ll tell you all the details later but just know I have many connections.”

“I know this is a lot but they’re the best lead we have.” Rosa says, being able to tell Artem Marius and Vyn are still unsure about this. And then Marius laughs.

“Just when you think you’ve figured the world out more stuff gets thrown at you.” He says.

“So?” Rosa asks.

“They can join this investigation. It’d be foolish not to after that display.” Vyn says and everyone agreed.

“It just doesn’t make sense though. Traveling between the realms isn’t that easy. A regular human or demon shouldn’t be able to do it.” You mutter.

“We have some idea as to where it started to appear.” Marius says and you nod.

“You look into that. Looks like I’m heading back to the Devildom sooner than I had planned to.” You sigh.

“Let me go with!” Rosa pipes up.

“Eh?” You blink at her.

“I have the files and everything we know about this already.” Rosa says. She had a point but…

“Alright then I guess we can spilt up into teams. Three stay here and two of you can come with me.” You state and before anyone can have a say. “Rosa and pretty boy. Let’s go.”

You point at Rosa then to Artem. The lawyer points to himself and you nod. “Yeah you pretty boy. Come on.”

“Wait now?” He asks. You nod again.

“The sooner we get this ball rolling the sooner we get answers.” You explain. Rosa nodded agreement and helped him gather all the things they were going to need. You walk out of the building with the two and pull out your DDD.

“Your friend is bossy.” Marius says to Luke.

“That just means we have a good member on our side, no?” Luke grins.

“I’m surprised you aren’t freaking out. You seem just as protective over them as you are with Rosa.” Marius comments.

“I’m worried yes but now isn’t the time for that plus they can use magic. They’d sooner flip me around like a pancake before I get a word out I’m sure.” Luke states.

“Yes I know it’s late but I’m only calling so you can’t say I didn’t warn you.” You huffed and hang up.

“Who was that?” Rosa asks. “Was that your boyfriend???”

“ANYWHO.” You say and hear the little tease giggle. “Hold onto to me or each other and get ready to land- somewhere.”

You focus, picturing the House of Lamentation which wasn’t hard since it practically your second home. With a clear image in your head, magic flows around the three of you and poof!

You land on your feet and have to act fast, catching Rosa and then Artem.

“What part of hold onto me or each other did you not understand?” You ask as you set the man down. “Ah whatever.”

“Seeing it in person vs in pictures are so very different.” Rosa says, eyeing the big mansion. Meanwhile Artem was looking around and backs up closer to Rosa and you when he sees demons eyeing them.

“Um MC?” He asks. You glance over and like a switch in your head-

“OI! The fuck are you looking at huh?!” You hiss, eyes flaring up in wrathful green.

“Oh shit that’s MC!”

“Let’s get out of here!”

You watch the demons run off once they realize the two humans are with you. Your eyes change back to their original color as you calm down.

“Now then.” You whirl back around to face the two lawyers who jaws were dropped. “Hm?”

“Hm? HM??? MC that was amazing!” Rosa says as she claps.

“Indeed any doubts I may have had left are long gone.” Artem adds as he too claps. “Seems like your name holds a lot of weight to it.”

“Yeah it wasn’t easy. Ah anyway! Welcome to the Devildom. This is the House of Lamentation.” You say.

“Right. You told me this is where you stay anytime you came down here right?” Rosa asks as you lead them inside with your spare key.

“Correct. Now it’s technically late so everyone will be asleep.” You explain and walk in with them.

“Who’s everyone?” Artem asks. You just grin and give him a wink. To your surprise you see a light coming from the living room.

“Oh he better not have.” You mumble.

“Something wrong?” Rosa asks. You simply motion for them to follow. You walk down and peak into the room and low and behold.

“Lucifer.” You huff. The demon in the chair looks up, he was still in his sleep wear.

“Lucifer???” Rosa gasps. “Like as in- THAT Lucifer???”

“Yeah yeah avatar of pride n all that. I told you you didn’t have to stay awake.” You shrug off the shocked Rosa and walk over to the man as he closed the book he was reading.

“You call in the middle of the night and don’t even explain what’s wrong. Why would I fall back asleep?” He asks as he stands up.

“Because you don’t know the meaning of sleep and you sleeping is rare.” You state, cupping his face. “This situation is urgent I won’t lie but it still could’ve waited till morning.”

Lucifer holds your hands, turning his head and kissing you on the palm of your right hand. His way of telling you not to worry with no words needing to be said.

“Wait your boyfriend is LUCIFER???”

You both look to Rosa who had smacked her hands over her mouth, not having meant to blurt that out loud.

“Right you two.” You sigh and let Lucifer go. “Luci this is my best friend Rosa and this is Artem Wing.”

“Humans.” He states.

“Yeah. Look we’re gonna need you and probably Dia’s help. Maybe more than that.” You began. Seeing as this was going to be a long conversation, you all sit down.

“Hmm.” Lucifer hums in thought.

“Any thoughts?” You asked after a moment.

“No but one things for sure is that Lord Diavolo is going to need to know about this.” He says, which you already knew but hearing it out loud well.

“I was afraid of that.” You sigh. “But that can wait till morning. Barbatos would have our heads if we woke up the Prince this late.

“Prince????” Rosa gawks. “We’re gonna meet a Prince???”

You stand up and make the pair follow you as you head to your room in the House. Once there, you look around and throw some spare clothes at them.

“You guys can sleep here. I’ll room with Luci.” You state.

“Um MC but-” Rosa glances at the single bed in the room.

“Ah Ah Ah don’t give me that bull.” You shake your finger in their faces. “See ya in the morning.”

You walk out and close the door. Thinking about it the other boys can probably tell you’re here once they wake. Just to be safe you ward the door and leave a sign.

Rosa changes in the room’s separate bathroom while Artem changes in the room. Once done they turn the light off and lay in the bed, Rosa closer to the wall.

“I can tell you have a lot of questions.” Rosa says, catching Artem off guard as she turned to face him. “Since it’s all out in the open now, I can answer the best I can.”

“For as long as I’ve been an attorney I thought I’ve seen it all but.” Artem lays on his back. “I don’t even know what to think at the moment.”

“Believe me I get it.” Rosa says, laying on her back now too. “When MC first told me a few years back I was surprised. But at the same time, excited. There’s so much more out there.”

“Interesting out look.” Artem says. “But you’ve known about this for awhile now.

“Mhm. MC says the relations between the realms still aren’t the best so they have to be careful as to who knows about them and well- the everything about them.” Rosa explains. “This would be one of the rare occasions where it was needed.”

“Anyway we should get some rest. There’s going to be a lot of work to be done come morning.” Rosa adds.

You and Lucifer were up and moving before anyone else. Lucifer already on the phone with Diavolo while you went to wake up Rosa and Artem. When you reach the door you take the ward off but keep the sign just to be safe.

“Wa-” you snap your mouth shut before the rest of your words could escape when you see them. They were sound asleep and spooning. Rosa having her arms tightly wrapped around Artem’s middle from behind which looked so funny since he’s so much taller than her. You snap a few quick pictures before walking over and shaking Rosa.

“Mmm five more minutes.” She mumbles, nuzzling her face into Artem’s back. You poke her head until she groans, using one arm to support her and her other still holding Artem.

“Morning.” You grin, not bothering to point out how she’s cuddling the man like a teddy bear.

“Whaaaaat.” She yawns, still half asleep as she pulls Artem closer, nuzzling her cheek against his shoulder. You glance at Artem who was clearly awake but must not have the heart to say anything, he’s blushing so hard his ears were red.

“We got work to do, Rosy.” You tell her. You watch as she slow wakes up more, her work mind catching up to her, cutting through the fog of sleep.

“Ah right.” She hums.

“So ahem um….can you let me go now?”

……..

“OH MY GODS!”

Rosa jumps away from Artem like she had touched a hot stove and stumbles away, falling off the bed. You burst out into laughter as Rosa says sorry over and over again to Artem as he sits up.

“Jerk! Why didn’t tell me?!” She asks you, face so red she looked like a tomato.

“Pssshh like you would’ve listened.” You stuck your tongue out at her.

You walk down the stairs with them after they got ready and you get swarmed once you step off the last step.

“MC when did you get here???”

“I tried seeing if you were in your room but it was blocked off!”

“Idiot did you not read the sign?”

“HEY!” You snap and they all back off. “Guys I’ll fill you in later. Come on.”

You pull the lawyers along and past the six demons you knew was eyeing them. Not like in a bad way more like confused.

“Oooh you must be Rosa!” Asmo chirps. “You look much cuter in person.”

“Asmo.” You warn. He only winks at you and backs off as you head out of the House.

“Hm the rulers of Hell are a lot more…childish than I was expecting.” Rosa hums.

“Try living with them.” You groan. “We’re going to meet with Lord Diavolo. Out of anyone here he’s mostly got some clue as to what’s going on.”

“Is he going to be upset with you about bring us here?” Artem asks and you didn’t even think about that.

“If I explain why I don’t think he’ll mind. Besides you aren’t in any danger so long as you’re by me.” You state. Lucifer comes around with the car and you all get in. The trip there you were explaining every little thing to Rosa who was in awe as she watches out the window. The only problem was most of the sights were on Artem’s side and she uh….

“You aren’t going to point out how she practically has that man pinned to the door are you?” You hear Lucifer whisper.

“Nope!” You grin. Rosa, completely unaware with how she has Artem caged in between her body and the car door keeps looking on while Artem burns up.

“Oh oh MC is that RAD??” Rosa spoke up, looking as the car passes the school.

“It is. That’s where I spend a good chunk of my days.” You answer. She keeps watching, Artem keeps looking everywhere except at Rosa and you finally show mercy. “Rosa sit correctly please before Artem dies from being flustered.”

You glance back at them just in time to see Rosa noice for the first time how close she got to Artem before scrambling back.

“Sorry!” She says quickly, now blushing herself. You chuckle, giving a thumbs up to Artem when he gives you a look of gratitude. Hm you still had time before you reached the Demon Lord’s Castle. You pull out your phone and type.

You: Hey Rosa

You hear Rosa’s phone chime. Before long you get a text.

Rosa: I’m right behind you, is something the matter that you can’t say it out loud?

You: Oh it’s nothing like that. More of uuuuhhh observation if you will.

Rosa: Observation of what?

You: You and pretty boy there. That’s the second time you subconsciously got super close to him. You like him, don’t you?

You hear Rosa choke on air before getting a reply.

Rosa: MC now is not the time for this! Me and Artem are purely professional!

You: Yeah right! I have a pact with the Avatar of Lust. I can see it in you.

You glance over your shoulder at Rosa, eyes lightly shining a soft pink. Rosa looks up at you then immediately looks away, blushing. You stop messing with her when you see the Castle.

“MC!” Diavolo was quick to pull you into a tight hug. “So good to see you!”

“That’s Lord Diavolo?” Rosa asks Lucifer as they stand off to the side.

“Yes.” He answered. You turn to them and motion with your hand for them to come over.

“Dia this is Rosa and her partner/mentor Artem Wing.” You introduce.

“MC was just telling me about you both.” Diavolo smiles at them and shakes their hands. “They’ve filled me in briefly on why you’re here and what’s going on.”

“I hope we haven’t caused you any trouble and we know this is very sudden, Lord Diavolo.” Rosa says, standing tall and bowing her head a little.

“None at all. This is a serious matter and I’ll do what I can to help.” Diavolo promised. “Plus you have MC after all.”

You stand back as Rosa and Artem question Diavolo. For the most part everything sounded pretty normal, like a small drug ring you’d hear back up in the human world. Until-

“I do recall Mephistopheles telling me about a student passing around some sort of plant they found farther north in the Devildom.” Diavolo tells Rosa.

“What did it look like?” She asks.

“He said it was red with black on its leaves.”

“That’s what we found.” Artem nods.

“That’s the plant that ended up in the human world?” Dia asks and they nod. “Oh my, that’s incredibly dangerous to humans.”

“We know. We’ve already had reports about it.” Rosa frowns.

“Well now we know for sure it’s from here.” You spoke up. “Where’s Mephistopheles right now?”

“I’m not sure but I can ask him to come here.” Diavolo offers.

“Please do.”

How I think each Tears of Themis ML would react to MC/you getting them flowers. This is taking place after the second anni!

Note: I'm bad at writing! This might not be character accurate.

Artem Wing (Zuo Ran)

You buy two red tulips, only two. You then have to wait for him to leave his office, that's when you strike. You sneak in and leave the two red tulips and a sticky note saying: I love you :) now just wait for him to go back inside.

When he sees the tulips he's confused at first until he sees the sticky note. His ears immediately start to redden. Nobody's ever gotten Artem flowers especially romantically. He grabs his phone to send a message simply saying "thank you." he doesn't know how else to express his feelings, you guys are working he can't hold you or kiss you.

When the two of you get home though... that's a different story.

Marius Von Hagen (Lu Jinghe)

You decide to make a cute little basket for your fiance since the two of you have been busy with work. You go to a local flower shop and see some beautiful forget-me-nots. You decorate the basket with flowers some little drawings and candies. Then you give a call to Vincent so he can leave it in Marius' office.

When Marius arrives at Pax and makes his way to his office he notices that you didn't send him a good morning message like you normally do, he gets slightly saddened at the fact you didn't but when he sees the elevator doors open. The pretty basket appears in front of him. He sees the name and letter inside saying "good morning" and a cute heart next to your name. He smiles immediately and his heart heats over. Vincent then explains that you made the basket and then asked him to deliver it. Marius decides to send you a message about not working tomorrow, along with a thank you.

I wonder what will happen tonight ;)

Luke Pearce (Xia Yan)

You decide to make two white lily flower crowns for you and your fiance. You're super excited to see what his cute face will look like with a flower crown. You are struggling to make it for a bit, but then you get the hang of it. You then get ready to go to Luke's place. You don't knock or anything and just break in with your hands behind your back.

Luke was just on his bed reading something with Peanut until you break in, Peanut falls off of Luke's shoulder and he goes wide-eyed at the fact you just broke in.

"Woah! Peanut you okay? Babe, what are you doing here?" You smirk and run towards him, then hop onto his bed in front of him.

"I have a surprise for you!"

"What are you hiding??" He puts what he was working on down and then moves his hands to your waist. You immediately stand up and put the flower crown on his head. You then give him the other flower crown while putting your head in front of him. He smiles and puts it on your head.

"There you go my majesty." You giggle at the majesty comment, and just give him a kiss on the forehead when you stand back up.

"Aren't I supposed to be the one to get you flowers? Not the other way around." He just laughs and wraps his arms around you.

What happened to Peanut?!

Vyn Ritcher (Mo Yi)

You saw some really pretty white roses while on a walk to a nearby cafe with Kiki. You stop and tell Kiki to give you a minute while you buy an entire bouquet.

After work, you ask Vyn to pick you up. He immediately complies and when he arrives in front of Themis Law Firm you run to the car with the bouquet in hand. You immediately give him a kiss on the cheek and offer the flowers.

He goes wide-eyed. He doesn't know whether to accept the flowers or not.

"Are they for me?"

"Yeah! Who else would they be for?"

He has never thought of how to react if someone else gave him flowers, he can't help but feel all warm and happy inside.

What do you think Artem’s parents think about Neil’s disappearance? Neil is a family friend, and Artem was left in his care decently often as a kid, so they must be pretty close. Have they chalked it up to him going undercover like his big data lab entry mentions him doing in the past? Have they investigated a little on their own before giving up and deciding to hope he’s okay? We’ve seen Marius’s dad addressing Giann’s disappearance, but Artem is the only one who has expressed worry for Neil in-game.

Heyo nonnie! This was an exciting question to think about bc, on the one hand, she doesn't have to know at all. Neil could've filed for leave and Kim would've thought that Neil is taking a sabbatical or something. On the other hand, Neil could've told her everything and she's like, a satellite agent? to the NXX. But I think the truth is a bit of a combination of the two.

I’m gonna go ahead and say yes, she knows about Neil being missing but only to a certain degree. I think she’s aware he’s missing, kind of like how Austin knows Giann is missing, but not why. When we look at the Big Data entry for Kim, we see this.

And for Neil’s, we see this.

Essentially, Kimberly is Neil’s boss. The dean of a college has to work closely with professors and students as well as keep tabs on what’s happening in the college. Neil would’ve had to report to Kim if any problems should arise with students or himself, so it solidifies that she’s his boss.

Given how abrupt Neil’s disappearance was, I don’t think he had time to go to Kim and schedule a leave. Hell, do we even know if he was actively teaching at the time? If he would’ve gone without a trace, I think Kim would’ve been the first one to notice. She would’ve had to plan a replacement for Neil. After all, who would finish teaching his course?

But he also has a tendency to just disappear undercover, so I don’t think it raised too many red flags at first. The longer Neil is gone, the longer the people around him (Namely Kim and Artem) start to notice.

I don’t think Kimberly knows what is going on with the NXX. From what I’ve gathered (and from trying to make a timeline, it's going…) the NXX existed before October 2029, enough to get the attention of Tyson and order hits on both of the senior NXX members. Artem had a full year of being in the NXX before mentioning that Neil was missing to MC.

We also know that Kim cares enough to look for people she values (MC’s accident in Artem’s Ch. 4), so Kim might actually be independently looking for Neil as well, like Austin. I think that Kim doesn’t know about the NXX investigations, only that it’s something big. I mean, if Neil kept Artem in the dark before having him join, of course he was going to keep it a secret from his boss and friend. As you said, they have to be pretty close for Kim to leave Artem in Neil’s care, but I don’t think that he’d tell her regardless. Take Giann’s fiance, for example. She has no idea what the NXX is or what they’re up to, but she knows Giann is missing (and is possibly aiding Austin in looking for him). It seems that the people in the NXX avoid telling others about its existence until truly necessary, so maybe they’re searching independently.

What I think solidifies this point is that Artem explicitly states that Neil has no family. Whatever connections he made, he would cherish them. We know he was there for Artem as a child (albeit a bit spotty seeing as he did prioritize his work) and that Artem was left in the dark until he was recruited. I think Neil would’ve kept quiet to protect his found family.

Quite frankly, I think the only reason Artem got recruited in the first place is because he figured out that Neil was in some Deep Shit. And it makes sense timeline-wise. We know the NXX was shaken up (at least on Neil’s side, seeing as Vyn would’ve told him he didn’t have what it took to go undercover) and Artem would’ve known something was up with that, you know? Enough to introduce Artem to the NXX (and possibly skew the numbers in his favor)So no, I don’t think that Kimberly knows why Neil is missing, only that he is and that she’s looking for him independently.

The real reason that I'm here, is to ask you if you plan to play MCL: NG? I mean, not like you used to play with the original MCL, but, like… just to see? You know, you're very smart when it's about to tell your... opinions, theories, etc. From my part, I'll only play MCL: NG for Jason!

Heeyy, YES, NEW USERNAME, NEW ME!

I mean, Otomelavenderhaze feels more my speed now than the last name, it shows that I will be tapping in other otomes, maybe I will go back to Ikemen at some point (believe me or not, some people find my oldest posts about Ikemen Vampire and Prince and lately I have been missing doing them and playing the games honestly).

I don't do much writing for Tears of Themis but maybe I will sometimes from now on, I feel like discussing somethings even more now they have announced that the first season is over, like what they mean with "seasons" like how many "chapters" there is for TOT's story??? I am so excited to find out.

But yeah, Lavender Haze feels fitting since my fav is Marius and since I am now a self proclaimed Swiftie lmao.

Now about MCL NG...... *sigh* I am not sure if someone really wanna hear my opnion about it if I played or not, I think at some point I would be too annoying always bringing back Rayan and such. I think there's better blogs out of there that will discuss the game and that are more open to the whole experience.

I thought about simply not even touching it, I saw the pre-sign up and I was like "should I?" but then I just felt literally empthy.

I will be honest, Jason was the one that like grab my attention...... but I play Marius route in ToT and I don't think they can top anything that I have ever read with Marius' story.

Marius is a such complex and colorful character, Jason felt like a colder and edgy version of him and I am not sure if this is my what I want to see, because I like characters that are misterious, with some walls, but also that has a soft and caring heart. I don't get that last part as Jason's vibe.

I could go for another route... but nobody really grabbed my attention, I feel like Thomas maybe would've been my route if he wasn't Thomas or maybe MCs boss is more my speed....... but I never felt so confused about a whole set of Lis, normally, I look at one and I choose and I KNOW they spark something on me.

The new Lis of MCL didn't got not even a single spark out of me.

I'm probably just being picky, but this is so weird for me, nobody seems really my type, I don't think anyone is gorgeous/handsome enough to make me like, feel like I did so many times before with other characters.

The art somehow looks worst too...... I don't get what is happening, I don't like the aesthetic of the game neither, I kinda miss the soft kinda dreamy but toned down mood that MCLUL or even MCLLL had????

You know what I feel seeing all the things I did see of it??? They didn't cook that game properly while making it, it wanna tap too much styles (decor and customization), the scenary looks good but not a place that would really exist or interest me personally, it feels like a breed between Eldarya and MCL and...... I don't like it.

Again, I don't like the Lis.

I don't think the story is gonna be anything extraordinary, I think it's gonna be mid at best and mid I already had with MCLLL and Eldarya, another mid feels too repetitive.

Ranking the NXX boys regarding their relationship with Darius

Artem 10000/10 They are besties. Personal headcanon but I think Lost Gold just came to comfirm. These two are a tease to each other, and I enjoy deeply every single scene when they are together.

From whatever the hell was that scene where they were interrogating a dude and Darius just began like: "dude did you hear that he said he was going to sue you¿?¡?¡?¡???" to them just being like "ok im going to call you by your name in this scene but next one I'm going put distance, but the next we are fine again" ?????? AMOR PROHIBIDO MURMURAN EN LAS CALLES

It's delusional ship time.

Anyways, there's a lot of so called "cuestionable" moments between them, but they also seem like such good friends :)

Futhermore I think we were robed from Darius getting first to where Ava had Artem and Rosa kidnapped, because I REALLY wanted to get more elaboration in the: "Aren't you both pretty clore to that Morgan guy? This will only make it much easier for me to negotiate with the police."

Plus Artem being the Asimov fanboy that he is, he had at least referred to Darius as a new Elijah Baley. Not only by the looks, but also as a compliment, topic which itself deserves a whole post for it's own. So yeah bonus points for that because I'm too an Asimov fan and belive me when I say he looks like the animefied version of Elijah Baley.

Vyn 8.5/10 Chapter three from his personal story offered a beautiful insight about the workings and tribulations of Vyn's mind as well as a "nice" convo between them. What surprised me the most about it, was the fact that Vyn actually seems to take into account what Darius said, or at the very least reflectionate about it.

They are still not friends, thus the 8.5 that otherwise would have been a 9, to much of my despair. Can you imagine Captain Darius "My bestfriend is Artem" Morgan being friends with Dr. Vyn "I despise to say the very least Artem Wing" Ritcher? THE DRAMA.

I do think they both know each other for a long time but still not enough for drop the titles as much as Artem and Darius do.

Chapter three from Vyn's story also cannonized Darius being the most sane man in the whole game imo. For what is worth I think Dairus would have punched Vyn rigth in the face in the aftermath of Chapter 6 if he had heard what Vyn said about always having things in control and not putting his partners in danger.

Marius 7/10

Im going to give Marius a 7 because it was his doing when I remeber seeing Darius smile for the second time. So yeah, he doesn't has many interactions per se with him, but it was a nice touch from Marius to help that family. We were also robbed from more interactions when he was in custody just because I think Darius ended thinking "They don't pay me enough for this shit" after spending time "taking care" of Marius.

Luke 4/10

Buckle up people, because this, THIS MAN RIGTH HERE DIDN'T LET ME GO TO MEET DARIUS AND I'M STILL PARTIALLY MAD AT HIM.

Not really thaaaat mad, but I think nothing will ever compare to the rage I felt that day when I was peacefully playing Tears of Themis and an oportunity to see Darius Morgan opened just to be shut down by Luke. Now it is a meme between me and my bestfriend that Luke is my least favorite just because he didn't let me see Darius. He has a virtually unexistent relationship with him, but I bet he cried when MC sent the "Ah, Captian Morgan's here. I'll talk to you guys later."

“mr. wing.” artem looked up from his papers and his eyes fall on you. first impressions last, and hell, have you made one. his eyes gloss over you; nourished hair - as if out of a commercial, you wore accessories that look like it cost more than his paycheck, and that was saying something - artem made lots from work. and the “vip” on your file definitely told him something; that you were to be treated with the utmost care.

“you must be mx. l/n” artem wasn’t nervous, rather, he felt a familiar surge of thrill. artem wouldn’t tell anyone, lest they think he’s some sort of freak who gets off to high value cases, but it was cases like this - cases with the familiar feel of the vip folder, that had him on his toes.

“you have a 99% win rate. can you assure me that i’ll be part of the 99?”

“it depends how the investigation goes.”

“bullshit. can you or can you not fix this for me? i know law, mr. wing. part of the unspoken curriculum for us - how do i say it?”

“you top 1% percents? no need to sugarcoat it, mx. l/n. it’s just us two, and if you know as much as you say you do, you’d know that everything you say is strictly confidential.”

“right. we top percents have tutors from an early age, maybe 10, 12? while my classmates read harry potter i was going through law books. so, back to my question. can you handle my case or not?”

“i can at the very least assure you that you have a good chance with me.”

“that’s all i wanted to hear. i’m looking forward to working with you.” artem leans back subconsciously. your smile was satiably devious, a roguish glint in your eye - a far look from your more poised composure.

“the pleasure’s all mine.” artem would never say it, but he’s already chasing your highs. he’s playing into the tips of your fingers, knowing he’s completely oblivious to what you might be holding in the palm of your hand, and he’s okay. he’s more than okay not knowing, because nothing ever compares to attractive clients and their even more attractive high profile cases.

MARIUS VON HAGEN

marius knew exactly who you were, and he wished he didn’t. but the way your outfit clung to you, the way his drink was slowly kicking in and he could do nothing about it, the way you moved - everything was tantalizing.

he’s staring at you; he’d be glaring if he could muster up enough energy to. you meet his eyes and you give him your signature catty grin. he wants to rip it off your face and kiss it over and over again.

he’s gotten up and personal with you back when he studied abroad, before then, you were just one of the other rich kids he needed to make connections with.

you were just any other person before then. before you beat him on every test, before you kicked his name off of many highly selective slots. so what does he do? college marius von hagen, and all of the pax charm he could muster, decides to sleep with the bane of his existence. because maybe he thought one night of frisk and frolic would finally keep you at bay, or at the very least, out of his hair.

“you’re staring, marius.”

“we’re not that close for you to be calling me my first name, mx. l/n.”

“really? because if i remember that night correctly, you decided we were close enough for you to be screaming mine - all night. i mean, the guy next to your apartment probably had a hard time sleeping-”

he slaps a hand over your mouth. “don’t-, keep that between us.” his eyes flicker around, no one was listening. yet.

you pry his hand off of your face. “alright then. let’s talk business. that is, if your teensy tiny brain can handle it. you’re shitfaced, you drunk.”

at that moment, the universe thinks marius hasn’t had enough humiliation, and he passes out in your arms. somewhere in the night you must’ve called vincent or, worse, his dad to get him home; marius doesn’t remember, since, you know, he was dead asleep.

he wakes up on the sofa, his hand reflexively travelling to his coat pocket for his phone. he finds it, but his hand feels another texture in his pocket. a small slip of paper, which unfolded, was your phone number.

“is something wrong? you’re red, mr. von hagen.”

“i’m fine, vincent. where’s breakfast, and - how is the current project with l/n?”

LUKE PEARCE

“cheers, pearce. you did me a good one here today.”

“how did you even know i was a government employed agent? and-, just to be clear, i didn’t clear your business for any reason other than that i couldn’t find dirty tricks.”

“oh, be real, pearce. you went easy on me because you thought i was pretty. not much, but enough that i noticed it.”

“how did you know that i was an agent? there are a list of crimes that i could just coincidentally write down in your file if you don’t answer me.”

“alright, no need to be harsh, detective, agent, and nxx member, luke pearce,” you relish in the shock in his face, “you applied for a top position, and it’s really just such a coincidence that i chose you for one of my surprise background checks.” it wasn’t an accident and the both of you knew that. but luke was more than an idiot. there are trade secrets that he’s not getting out of you, threats or not.

“if you knew, then why’d you let me in? that’s a simple enough question, so stop dodging around the bush.”

“other than the fact that i had nothing to hide? one, if i didnt, you would just send more agents one after another to come in and monitor me. i’m already busy enough as it is, i don’t need more of you glorified spies to add to the list. plus, you were cute.”

“what-”

“c’mon, let me go home! i don’t get paid overtime, i’m the ceo, y’know? you’ll need to start paying for each question that follows this!”

he finds himself unable to object, years of training thrown out the window. his superiors would be disappointed, but they didn’t need to know, did they? all they needed to know was you were clear for business. no words about you calling him cute or finding out his work before he’d even started needed to be said if no one mentions it.

“oh, right,” your voice snaps him out of his thoughts, “go on a date with me. you owe it to me after you totally lied to me.”

“i’m not going out with you just because you made up an imaginary favor. and you said it yourself, you knew.”

“i’ll pick you up tomorrow. 8 pm?”

“you don’t even know where i live.”

“background checks go a long way, and by the way? you didn’t say no.”

you walk into your car, and if he coincidentally puts on one of his better outfits just as you pull into his driveway, “it’s just another coincidence”, he’ll tell you.

VYN RICHTER

“and i just don’t get it, you know? i can’t sleep at night because i spend all night thinking, like, wow, im amazing! you’re a doctor, tell me, what’s up?”

vyn laughs at your comment, picking up your coffees. you bumped into him when going in for a checkup and decided to go out for a drink, catch up a bit. “no, i’m just kidding, vyn. it’s been a while since i last saw you! what, back in uni?”

“yeah, back in uni. you didn’t pursue med school?”

“no, life, and my parents, had different plans for me. but it all worked out in the end. i’m happy. and rich too!”

he laughs again, “i’m glad to hear that. although i do feel quite disappointed, you were good at what you did.”

“what, cutting people open?”

“if that’s how you’ll say it.”

you sigh, the familiar feeling of wistfulness puddling up in your chest. “don’t get me wrong, i loved getting my hands stuck up people’s hearts. it was my passion, y’know? there’s nothing like aortas and arteries and fixing them up, but it’s family. i figured that, my parents, they busted their asses off to let me do what i want, but really, what right do i have?”

“what do you mean?”

“everyone preaches passion, vyn, and maybe they’re right and i just have a martyr complex, but if i did pursue being a doctor or, hell, even the best surgeon in the world, even then, all my parents’ work would go to waste. the business would go to some rando who bought the right stocks at the right time, because if i was, a doctor, i mean, i wouldn’t be handling the company.”

“do you regret it?”

“not at all, but i do miss it.”

his phone rings, you don’t see what it says but he noticeably tenses.

“that was the hospital. it really was nice catching up, but i-”

“don’t worry about it, oh, and food for thought, i never did change my number.”

“expect a call, then.”

how do you think giann-vyn and marius-vyn interactions differ? like vyn's thoughts on the brothers and etc.? if marius and giann were both over at vyn's how would they interact? one of my favorite hc rn is vyn sometimes having to force himself to remember that "Marius isn't Giann" whenever Marius does/says something Giann would do.

OHHHHH THIS IS SUCH AN INTERESTING ASK, I LOVE THISSSS and im especially glad i got this after i played marius' personal story 4 and i got that one giann crumb line from austin that i Cannot stop thinking about, this one

which REALLY made me rethink how i interpret my free-real-estate characterization of giann. and also uh...made me tangent into just a whole long response about some other stuff so

a headcanon post that got out of hand: vyn & giann vs. vyn & marius: similarities, loyalties, differences

wc: 1.5k (sorry, i didnt know this would get this long either)

like, okay, for starters, i do wanna talk about their similarities

it's already canon that giann has a playful prankster side to him just like marius does, shown in SSR Will Of The Trees where giann told tiny!marius his rash was from a poisonous plant and not just a common rash ajhksvjhfvaksKJGK. i rlly loved that bit, i think this is true for all von hagens, theyre all little shits

more on an hc side now though, i like to think marius and giann have a lot of smaller similarities in small habits simply by virtue of being siblings and small habits very easily crossover to one another. stuff like maybe they both fidget with pens in similar ways or they both have the tendency to focus v much on work or a task that they forget to sleep. what giann does, marius sees, and year after year some of those things he not only learns but ends up doing himself as well.

tiny aside related to above bullet point, i think theyd have similar ways of Talking. like, the cadence and word choice and stuff. this is wholly just cuz i myself have 3 siblings and we all talk with similar syntaxes jhavksjhfvkahjsfva

now, with those in mind, it's super obvious that either brother could remind another person of the other brother!

which......might be a sore spot for both vyn and marius during the Giann Is Missing era

for marius, well. i already spoke at length here and here about a possible inferiority complex that could totally mess him up if he lets it take root and grow

and for vyn.....ive been thinking a bunch about vyn's relationship with giann. like, in the whole brewing nxx civil war of team giann vs team neil (irt whos the bad guy! who sold out the other!) clearly marius is on team giann and artem is on team neil and vyn seems....largely neutral, fittingly playing the adjudicator before mc and luke join the team

but hes not neutral. cuz he Knew both neil and giann before they disappeared, the vyn-giann-neil trie Were the nxx team before the others came in (mentioned in main story 6.1 or 6.2, ive got a bad memory).

and with that in mind, vyn actually seems to have his loyalty towards a certain direction already: to the von hagens

vyn seems closer to giann and/or seems more aligned with the von hagens cuz

most obvious: //gestures at GIANNOVYN MENTAL HEALTH RESEARCH CENTER my god u guys rlly could not think of a better name but just mushing ur names together?? im never getting over that jkhvkajhsvfkjas

2nd most obvious: hes currently marius' tutor. honestly at this point i almost forgot about this bit, are they still having classes?? SO MUCH ELSE IS GOING ON RN FOR THEM AJHVFAJK

probably wasnt obvious at all but it has always been living in my mind rent free since september of last year: in the very first scene Mysteries of the Lost Gold where the team squabbles, vyn said he could easily just call austin if marius didnt wanna give him an invite to nosta. very funny moment, i love that bit so much. but also huh, vyn is close enough to austin von hagen that he can call the dude?? and it wasnt a bluff, becaue marius reacted in a way that implied vyn totally had the capability (and that marius didnt want it to happen). so vyn must have some kind of communication/acquaintance with austin that vyn could call about something completely unrelated (sidenote: this is hilarious now that i think about it. can you imagine being marius. ur tutor who is also ur work colleague who is also somebody ur kinda a bitch to and hes a bitch right back at you, this person can cALL UR DAD?? rip marius lol)

i went on a tangent there, i was sposed to focus on giann but then i zoomed out but YEAH. vyn has some level of closeness with the von hagens

and i think that started with giann

SO LIKE, working backwards....vyn moved to stellis in 2028. on The Same Year, he also co-founded the research center with giann.

and, my god, from a purely logistical standpoint, that was fast!! but from a trust standpoint, that was also fast irt vyn connecting with another person since we all know he can be a cagey motherfucker. so giann must have been one really frigging charming person to get vyn richter of all people to be his friend (at most) or trusted colleague (minimum)!!! and vyn, for all his elegance and stuff, seems like a very ride-or-die friend once he admits to himself that he is indeed attached somehow to another human being. ive got a bunch of hcs actually on how they met but thats for a fanfic writing day, not this post

anyway, why did i bring all that up? mostly cuz i forgot what i was writing about. BUT ALSO just to hammer home the emotional stake vyn may or may not have in the Giann Is Missing ordeal.

cuz like...being annoyed at marius for being too similar to giann is one thing. but being annoyed at marius for being too similar to giann who could have most probably been the first person vyn managed to connect with on some level (be it professional or a friendship thing) well...thats a whole Other Thing Altogether

anyway, the key difference between giann and marius thats already So Much to explore was already said. austin's line, "[Giann] is too kind and honest. He is not as rational as [Marius]. [Marius] knows how to hide his joys and frustrations."

(SIDENOTE: of course we, the players, know that marius is very kind and honest and shows his joys and frustrations. but he doesnt show that face at first, thats only reserved for people he trusts. for everybody else, marius acts in whatever way gets him the advantage. which...sound familiar? the marius that austin describes has a lot in similar with vyn. hides things to protect the self or others, rational and thinking, keeps the heart not on the sleeve but somewhere more guarded. those are vyn qualities as well as marius qualities. and the flipside is that giann (as described by austin) could very well have been vyn's opposite)

so now with all that laid down, let me finally answer your question HAHAHJKSDHFVJKDSHA

vyn's reactions to marius during the Giann Is Missing Era

upon meeting marius for the first time, i assume vyn's reaction would be a mix of relief and disdain. relief because ah, this one is like how vyn expects most people to be. but disdain because this one wears a similar face to somebody who mattered to vyn, and he is so different that it hurts. marius has giann's hair color, giann's eye color, sometimes marius talks like how giann would or would joke like how giann would. but marius still could not be any more different than giann. so in these early days, the separation between the two brothers is clear. theyre not the same person at all.

of course, as vyn and marius spend more time together, marius' mask chips away due to trust and the wonderful magic of friendship. and then things get more complicated. because at this point, vyn is much surer that marius is his own person thanks to all the team has been through, all vyn has witnessed of marius, and the such. and once marius is comfortable showing his own honesty and kindness in a less guarded way, it hurts all over again for vyn. he knows logically marius and giann are different people but god, the similarities would make vyn miss giann even more

how vyn's interactions differ

we already know how vyn interacts with marius (i.e. elegant roasting, respectful when it comes to work, vaguely annoyed whenever marius is indeed being annoying) so i move on

vyn and giann...now this is something ive got no canon basis for since we dont have any canon scene where vyn interacts with giann like in a flashback or something, but given that giann was a more open person who entered vyn's life earlier, i figure vyn wouldnt be as....thorny. maybe a little more honest, maybe a little more comfy as well to indulge in some of the playful shithead-ness giann has.

how vyn would react once giann is no longer missing and he and marius are in the same room
