positives:

last week i met maggie rogers twice (2nd time was just in passing) and she signed my record

got to see her at an intimate show at the house of blues

got to be a part of a special moment during don’t forget me where we all held up “we won’t forget you” signs which made her tear up

negatives:

had to spend five hours sitting on a bridge in the cold at 5:20am in order to get tickets

the concert was cut short bc like five people in a row passed out

i caught covid

#came back home and immediately got a jury duty summons tested postive for covid and received my dog’s ashes so. fun’s over lmao #anyway that line was crazyyyyy we were on all the news stations #getting there at 5am was NOT my initial plan but it became apparent that it was necessary if i wanted tickets #by 6:45 the line went from the venue down the bridge down the street and all the way down the other bridge across from me #did not expect to be watching the sun rise over the chicago river that morning lol #it was so so so cold and i was not dressed for it #the show was great tho she has such good energy and the new album is better live #sad we didn’t get to do most of the audience request songs but i hope all the people who passed out are ok… #also she was sweet when i met her but they rushed us through the line SO fast it was like 15 seconds

And also kind of goes back to actual plot of the Infinity arc if they was following the manga. Since if you think about it ,Tomoe was trying to find prefect vessels to be hostess to the diamon eggs. So I would think he would do experiments that he's trying to engineer the perfect DNA in those vessels . So finding a specific gene that the host will have that would able to substain having diamon egg in them. Example of that in the manga would probably be the real orgin of the Witches Five.

Don't forget that Naoko is a STEM girl through and through because its all through her work along with fashion. She does have her degree in Pharmacy. Half of the villains' name after gems and minterials you'll find in chemistry. Even tho the 90's anime forgot the creator was...

I feel for long running series, espcially for Sonic, folks should know the difference between a what a character is as a whole vs the portrayal of said character in a media.

Tails in modern times has probably been one of the best treated Sonic character between IDW comics, the movie sequel, and even in games like Colors and Mania. However because of one or two bad portrayals in Sonic Forces and argueably Lost World (that one more iffy execution) many folks just brushes off as how he's fallen from grace. While I do wish Tails was alot more action active and playable again he still has his core traits as a I like about him and modern games put more focus on him as a support role which mostly everyone has.

I usually use Sonic Adventure 1 as a basis since it was the game that reintroduce the main cast into a new era and define their main traits and development. If a portrayal keep the core idea of SA1 and expand upon it I would consider that a good portrayal. (e.i. Sonic in Black Knight, Amy in the IDW comics)

Its why as a Tails fan, Sonic Forces annoys me as the Chaos scene not only contradict his SA1 development but they don't do anything with it. After that scene Tails acts pretty much the same as usual in modern portrayals making the scene jarring as the game never explores Tails' mindset during the war and how losing Sonic effected him that much for him to cower at Chaos. Not expecting some master class story but if SA1 can build a relatable story of Tails learning to beileve in himself (HAH) and becoming his own hero I am gonna feel a little robbed when that regressed.

Tho for a more postive modern example I feel an underrated trait from Tails in Colors is that they gave him alot more sass and snark which I feel fits post SA1 Tails. Some of it I would credit it to Kate's deilvery of lines but scenes like Tails teasing Sonic over talking to a broken robot and Tails being like "oh wait no that was me" is just the fun kind of humor for me. I also like more personialty since I can chalk it off as Sonic influence rubbing off on him which is cute.

Anywho this just an expanded verison of me saying I'm tired of Tails slander based on a 5 year old game.

disclaimer: i've only watched through season 3 of the series, with occasional episodes of 4 and 5.

POSTIVES:

Gabriel's character!! The reveal between him and Adrien and the utter devastation of finding out that you've been hurting your son for however long!

the animation is not just better than the show but actually good!

alya. ofc she's not gonna get as much time as the show, and she really could've gotten more, but the fact that she shows up and immediately attaches herself to the most diastrous person she can find so that she can be entertained is so real but also seeing that montage of her genuinely cheering marinette on was adorable. also. "we were made for each other". i do kinda ship them okay.

a coherent plot, with a specific ending. i also like how they didn't have marinette discover miraculous cure until the end. makes you kinda wonder how many people died and then came back though. rip gabriel when he watches the news about that.

NEGATIVES:

god this was a musical? why? the songs werent good (besides maybe you are ladybug) or memorable and they could've used that time for other stuff

like a third adrien and marinette scene. though i don't hate the lack of adrinette as much as others (adrinette inherently develops when ladynoir develops, since theyre the same people, so what if marinette's crush starts out pretty superficial, so does adrien's, it's okay if they mostly become closer as ladynoir) they still could've gotten more time

Hi anon this is bc larry and zayn do NOT talk and haven't talked since louis xfactor performance in 2016. Every OT4 interview where L or H was asked about zayn, or solo interviews where L or H are asked about zayn they NEVER said anything postive. Both L&H have made it very clear they haven't talked to zayn since he left 1D [only briefly in 2016]. Thus making it clear he left the band on bad terms with them and maybe liam [niall I'm unsure].

Here's a post I made some time ago explaining why I believe zayn left and why larry and zayn are not friends anymore based on facts of what has happened and things they have said [on video so you can tell by their demeanor/expression they mean it.]

So to me if zayn left on bad terms with larry and isn't really friends with them anymore I don't think he would care about larry's issues with taylor and would be/was perfectly ok collabing with her. Zayn collabing and possibly being friend with taylor makes sense given he isn't friends with larry anymore what DOESN'T make sense to me is fuckin niall who claims to be really close with them constantly praising taylor and singing on stage with her. How can he go from watching harry and seeing louis at festivals acting like he cares about them and then turn around and hang with taylor ???

Liam did say in a 1D interview niall was the type of person to "always be on the fence aka never taking sides on things" and niall seemed really offended by the statement but the more time goes on the more I'm like liam wasn't wrong that seems to be how niall is. And no one can sit here and say niall didn't realize what she was during in 2012 to 2014 bc niall as much as louis did back in those days made it clear he wasn't ok with what the things she was doing.

Example taking it back to 2013 VMAs taylor wins an award for a red song and naturally she feels the need to slight "the man who inspired the song that just won an award" aka harry. And right after she makes a comment about "the man" the camera shows the crowds reaction and all of 1D gave a visibly negative reaction. Harry was trying not to roll his eyes and gave off a vibe of whatever you do you I'll be a bigger person and not mention you. Zayn and liam were confused af and then you had niall and louis.

Niall who gave a wtf look then looked to louis basically giving louis a "is this b**** for real" look and of course louis iconic "fuck you" look to taylor on stage. Point is there are instances like this from bac in the day showing niall wasn't ok with what she was doing and heard all the shitty things she was saying about harry his close friend/bandmate and yet here he is years later praising her when he previously didn't like her and how she treated his close friends.

Side note red TV was all about Jake and slandering him as the "shitty ex" who inspired the album but OG red album came out right before h***or happened meaning the award season for OG red album happened right AFTER h**lor SO her and her team felt the need to act as if songs like IKYWT were for harry even tho it didn't line up timeline wise. Jake at that point was old news and h***or was fresh on people's mind so the slandered harry during 2013 award season. Even tho it didn't line up people did buy into it so much so some believe H&T started dating/met prior to the three month winter fling.

Lastly I know your OG ask was about zayn but with him it makes sense and really the question you asked makes sense towards niall. Bc it is something to wonder. How much can you actually care about L&H if you choose to constantly praise and even sing with someone who caused them a lot of trauma ??? [And there is plently of proof she and that stunt caused them long term issues.] Which is part of the reason I don't fully stan niall. I like his music but the whole does he ACTUALLY care about L&H deal makes me go 🤨. Along with the constantly praising of s***/m***st and gaslighting fans when all other members have negatively talked about s***/m***st but that's a whole other issue.

i wish i knew what i did wrong but like just to sum up my past 6 weeks

my car gets totaled by a drunk driver in the middle of the night i call my parents

my brother tested postive the same weekend

now i have no car and can’t visits my family anyway

turns out my insurance does not cover hit and runs

one day! later my cat starts howling she is now in her mating phase. She didn’t stop howling for 3 days - i did not sleep.

i finally get an appointment with the vet and a rental car to take her there

mind you i am currently job less

my prescription on my anti depressants runs out and i do not have a doctor that can prescribe them

i am on several wait lists. have been since my hospitalization. no news.

i get my cat back now neutered and very high.

her allergies start acting up (it still hasn’t stopped)

WE ARE ONE WEEK IN

i meet my friends for the first time in ages shortly after they test postive. after a good scare i am in fact negative. phew.

4 weeks of misery and mental breakdowns later.

I get so many jobs turned down but i finally score not one but 2 interviews!! on the same day.

i got one of the jobs the other wants me there for a test day

I get my car back!!! i am now over 4000€ in debt but i have my car

i drive to my parents. it’s my aunts birthday and the first time i’d get to see my cousins in a while. I get home. My mom test postive.

they guilt trip me into staying the weekend even tho i insist that i want to leave as i want to start 2 new jobs next week. no luck. i have to stay.

i get home and test negative. another bullet dodged.

I get an email the second job i had a tryout for cancels on me (they claim to have too many applicants i am sure it’s also bc i am trans that i do not get my chance to prove myself)

i drive home from the gym. and a. rock. hits. my. windshield. i had my car for less than a week and it’s already damaged again!

i get home. insurance does cover this thankfully

note: i have no money and no food atm

i open the fridge. my last half empty glass of pesto. it falls. and shatters. with it all my hopes and dreams. (and my last kind of sauce i had. from now on it’s pasta with nothing)

the only thing still smiling is my cats toy that’s also kinda like. smudged with pesto now

You know what scares me?

Knowing that a series that ended badly that upset so many people rightfully and through the passage of time, when people forget and move on, and new fans are exposed to it and don't see any problems they didn't have the bias of fandom/writers interviews to warp their way of viewing the show, they get to see it as it truly was.

But at the same time critise fans and think they choose violence.

Imagine someone saying Castiel and Dean were a postive lgbt rep in a series, that cas dying wasn't that bad or even wrong it was really groundbreaking for its time why were people upset?

Why did so many people hate Korra?

Why did anyone hate GOT?

Or the end of teen wolf?

Why are people saying this is queer-bait when it's not?

Unaware of behind the scenes of writers/advertisments/even the broadcasters teasing fans that they would get something.

Truth is, I don't care about that I just want a good story, but the story was terrible so the shipping was the only thing we could geniuanly ask because the plot was going nowhere.

So no.

I won't forget that the Voltron fanbase back from 2016 to 2018 was terrible, that they threatened the VA's bex taylor and Jeremy shada didn't deserve any of the hate, the writers and producers got so much backlash.

During s7 even I thought, wow. They should just cancel Voltron and not give the fanbase anything. Because the fans were so entitled.

So even tho I hate s8 and still won't watch it. I hate Voltron/the crew/the lies the fandom.

It was so bad I've never been in fandom since.

So seeing people on twitter say "Stop saying Voltron queer bait when it didn't-"

it did.

On blogs, youtube and any other advertisments they claimed they were diverse and lgbt, bex was pushing it and Pidge came out as a girl pretending to be a boy in season one. And everyone slapped the trans flag on Pidge.

Because of Steven Universe alongside it, Voltron didn't have to promise anything. But they did. Because I was fucking there.

CN had bubblegum and Marceline kiss, Steven Universe wedding scene happened and even Miraculous ladybug with Nathaniel and Marco being hinted at as a couple.

Truth is, Voltron was going to have a background couple that was a blink and you miss it, since that was acceptable at the time of Blaytz/Galra soldier and that was IT because no one expected Much.

If adventure time/SU wasn't happening no ones expectations would've been that high. Oh and Love,simon came out too.

We had high expectations.

Oh and during pride month, so many shows were doing lgbt content. Voltron released a season 5.

Where Lotur and Allura became a couple.

Dropping a series with a straight couple felt like a big yikes most fans were thinking wtf?

But people are forgetting and painting the fans as the villains when really the crew were just as bad. Take away lgbt and watch the show as it is and see it was so terrible.

Lance was treat terrible, ignored and used as a comic relief that was just pathetic and not funny, given an altean sword then forgotten. Flirted with Allura in a gross way and was then rewarded but was only second best because lotor broke her heart.

Its been three years and I am so done with this but I won't ever forget it.

Also didn't queer bait? They said they were LGBT and confirmed that SHiro was gay and weren't going to bring him back.

Shiro only stayed and that wedding scene only happened because of fans.

Adam was teased at the s7 panel advertising voltron, of Shiro and adams 'fight' confirming he was a fiance.

First episode of s7 they killed adam.

And the artist posted a screenshot of Shiro's wedding scene one month BEFORE s8 would air. The wedding scene wasn't even meant to be in the end credits that was damage control why did you think people did a campaign of relase the 'real' s8?

Voltron DID promise lgbt, but if they only said "Here's a reboot of robot cats and nothing else!" No one would care because the creators didn't promise it.

1. Very fun to watch. Shayne and Court have a great friednship and everything comes easy and natural

2. Solid life advice about body positivity, postive mental health, etc. We stan the right ppl

3. The Shourtney conversation is not awkward at all, and they make it a point to not discourage shippers bc, esp Court feels like they get bullied. Even tho conversation is short (about 20 min) they do talk about boundaries and shipping and whatnot

hi! i just want to say i love your content and keep going youre doing great. i was wondering if i could get a match if your still doing them... im a pretty calm layed back bisexual woman

•She’s awfully light on her feet, and if you’re scared to dance? She’ll let you stand on her own feet and guide you through the steps. Even if it’s just rocking with you there.

•Sasha’s nose is a beast, so even if you use the slightest different thing in your routine, she’s going to notice. It also means she can smell what you’ve got her already and surprises don’t really get past her.

• The most loving person EVER. Sasha is going to make sure you know she loves you with plenty acts of service with tons of physical touch at your demand.

• Makeup? She’s probably a little skeptical but she’s down to sit down and let you beat her face. Then? Cute photo shoot with her cute girlfriend 💕

• She’s definitely not the one to play with. That includes you. This woman is inTIMIDATING when she wants to be, and she wouldn’t even think of letting someone mess with you. If you even look like you’re going to cry, she’s going to go on a hunt.

So in town of salem you either get really nasty people or really nice people

Example: One game the Serial Killer, Framer, And God Father left first night. Everyone was joking around. There was someone named LocalHomo and a guy just starts shouting in the chat "Kill the Nonbinary" while voting against him [I say him cause LocalHomo said he wasnt nb]. Like, as the Nonbinary person there it was yikes [I realize now he could've been Executioner but... it was yikes]. He also got other messages and I always like :/ really guys. Really.

Another one, someone asked if my name was from Supernatural. It wasnt but like, shootout to that guys cause us nerds gotta stick together. Anyhow, he also got harrassed and then the guy that harrassed him killed him.

Both these games the town ended up winning btw

Then theres the super supportive.

Last game I was Maf. Our Framer got jailed twice and was executed. However, we werent doing to bad cause the jailor quit. Anyhow, time went by the jester killed the Godfather and I ended up being cornered. I was like "Gg, town wins". Thing is Town didn't win cause the serial killer was still out and about. I realized this, and was worried of getting hate for giving up so easily. However, not only was everyone fine about it the Jester was making jokes on how he single handedly got "them the win". So I joked back "Hey! We didn't win" and then he responded "Aw, want a hug" then I "Hard with a computer" "Virtual Hug!!". And then everyone was talking about what they were playing on, if they were on the phone etc. It was like, the cutest shit. That was my last game today and like, I was loving the postive energy so I didnt want to ruin it XD

Another time: So it's a tough game. I'm Lookout, I've gotten a few people and defended a few. I've made my name out there. Everything is tense, very few people left. Still got a mafia man out there [or maybe the sk? Cant rember]. I end up dying, shot by the Vet. Immediately after I die my Will is shown [and it has key info] and the one of the Dead Townies goes "GABE YOU BEUTIFUL BIRD*" And since then no better words could've been said XD

*I'm plague doc btw. And Yes. I'm ArchangelGabriel. Which has gotten me several differnt nicknames and I love it tbh.

Final one for the night: So there's this guy named Crowley and immediately I'm thinking "Were getting along or hateing each other arent we?". This was early on, I actually still am fairly new at this game as a whole, and I didn't know ypu could look back to previous nights. I'm lookout and was afk the prev night. The Crowley guy calls me lame and says the Maf should kill me next night [irony is, I was afk cause I was telling @kawaii--anon that a guy named Crowley was in my game]. I didnt care due to the fact my last game someone told me to kms among other things (another story for a differnt time) IMMEDIATELY people vote against him. I didn't even care. I actually abstained.

Turned out, He was a Jester. And honestly, amazing play my dude. I ended up dying the next night LOL. Honestly tho, felt fine.
