now personally, i think as far as compelling romantic dynamics go from yj98 i think i lean more towards cissie and cassie (ALSO anitas big ass crush on cissie lmao) + kon and bart (aka kon’s big ass crush on bart) but i will say i still enjoy tim and kon’s friendship in it.

Still not quite sure how I feel about their approach to Wukong I love it because it makes sense for his LMK character but I also hate it because it takes away the part of him that makes him complex and reduces him down to like 90% of what he does being because someone else told him to do it rather than his own pride and desire for things and peoples issues with him, but that also is part of what makes it fit with this Wukong, glad they at least kept the circlet, don’t like how quick he came around to accepting it, unless someone threatened to kill his bros if he didn’t so he agreed to it to save their lives and THATS why Azure and the others got away scott free no problem, and then by then he experienced the power of the circlet so he had no choice but to seal them away, or he got bitter heck i don’t know Wukong’s character feels like its getting such a short end of the stick rn and I love it but hate it but like it but dislike it but HECK ITS JUST SO SLIGHTLY TO THE LEFT ITS THROWING ME OFF BUT THEY HANDLED IT REALLY WELL, IF ANYONE ELSE TRIED THIS I’D CRINGE BUT MONKIE KID HAS SUCH GOOD WRITERS AND ANIMATION THEY MAKE IT WORK SOMEHOW AND I’M OFFENDED BY IT HGBDFSFASF HECK DUDE

oliver was one of the best parts of the season and i loved him so much ohhh the skrunkle

aiden & james were my favorite characters i think! <333 i really liked their development i love gay people i screamed at their first real kiss

it took a while for me to get used to every character because of their mics and acting. some of the acting was not believable at all and was the reason i dislikes some characters for a bit (cough rosa maria cough) before eventually warming up to them. it’s clear they improved a lot and found better actors for season 1. i’m curious how the S2 actors will be in S3.

In "The Vampire Armand" Armand recounts what really happened to Claudia, because she is not at the farce of a trial when Louis sees Lestat there.

I'm just going to paste the relevant passages here so you can read for yourself, but in real short: the surgery is done ON her.

For the record, she was slain by my Coven of mad demon actors and actresses, for, when she surfaced at the Theatre des Vampires with Louis as her mournful, guilt-ridden protector and lover, it became all too clear to too many that she had tried to murder her principal Maker, The Vampire Lestat. It was a crime punishable by death, the murdering of one's creator or the attempt at it, but she herself stood among the condemned the moment she became known to the Paris Coven, for she was a forbidden thing, a child immortal, too small, too fragile for all her charm and cunning to survive on her own. Ah, poor blasphemous and beauteous creature. Her soft monotone voice, issuing from diminutive and ever kissable lips, will haunt me forever. But I did not bring about her execution. Okay honest thoughts. The cgi and some climax moments in the pjo series were all kindaaa underwhelming plus there were alot of rewritten scenes in the series

firstly the way he kept his promise to bring mc to the airport it really broke me. it's so melancholic like there have been broken promises before but hyunjin wouldn't dare end their relationship on another one? you can still feel the love he has for t hemin the way he tiredly made his way to drive to their house and to the airport after he came back from his own long flight it honestly makes me insane.

i love how in the car there's this like faint and twisted idea of hope lingering between them. some part of them still longs for the other and it's right there they could just grab the very thing they yearn for but it's incomplete. it's not the same. honestly when mc mutters "idiot" it really made me think like are they calling hyunjin an idiot? or themselves an idiot? and ac i feel like they meant both of them are idiots for allowing themselves to end up in this awkward but necessary situation.

there are some unresolved feelings and unanswered questions while they sit in silence on the way to the airport, but the airport scene™️ gives them both the closure they need. they're not getting back together, no matter how much one might like, but the tension in the car shows a sliver of hope that they would and i feel like it really emanates in your writing and makes me as a reader reader hope for a happier ending as well. also the shaky "fuck" describes my feelings as i read this as well thanks btw 🥲

and this is all from my own mind but i imagine reader saw a photo or maybe got an invitation to hyun's wedding and they realize he's okay and it makes them reflect on themselves and with a heavy heart they realize theyre okay too. the worst part is there's no definitive point where they felt or "became" okay, because like you said, time is the best medicine and gradually mc just healed. but knowing that hyun is okay and has moved on kind of popped a bubble of reserved feelings and its not necessarily sad its just kind of disheartening or numbing?

AGGHHH not me hurting myself thinking ab this couple 😭

about the slivers of hope after the car scene, i apologize for the lack of a happy ending love </3 the fic was definitely challenging (and saddening) but also refreshing to write. i really wanted to explore a couple that is well and truly doomed bc some of the relationships in our lives are doomed, yaknow? and you can recognize that and still have a lot of love for the person at the same time bc human beings are fucking complicated like that. but please consider this my official justification for posting something so depressing

FUCKKKK NOT THE WEDDING PICTURE. this just made me frown irl. if i may add.....again..... what if they physically run into each other and that's how mc knows? at the start of the convo mc kinda feels the familiar stirrings again but it's more out of habit than anything. they talk for a bit and it's really pleasant and mc notices he has a ring on his finger and they realize they feel ✨ nothing ✨ about it anymore. but there's just an inkling of remorse remaining about the whole situation. like a passing thought of "maybe in a different universe we would've made things work"....haha.....fuck. BUT mc is happy hyunjin's happy, and mc is happy to have recovered, and life goes on

Hello. I am here to hurt Breg. And not in a sexy times way.

Okay i wanna set the scene. The meeting happens, Breg being a weirdo, Reader and breg finally start dating and being in a relationship, Shenanigans starts and happens, Maybe a year passes but oh what the hell is this? Reader’s slowly falling out of love.

Of course the first idea is “Don’t tell breg this cause he’ll freak out”. But then again, are we really gonna just keep up in a relationship with someone we dont really love anymore? Basically reader’s kinda in a dead end here tryna think of what to do. Might as well be honest am i right?

So reader tells Breg, Tryna explain it real gently to the poor guy. What’s Bregs next move? Kidnapping? Tell them “haha no your not wdym you dont love me anymore”. Like is the dude really gonna try and keep reader, Hoping they can fall in love with him again? Tryna still be in a relationship where Reader doesn’t really love him anymore? Or idk this just gets us killed 🤷

Anyways thats all, Feel free to ignore this. Also fun fact i was typing this while listening to Fantasy by Mariah Carey. Yeah don’t question me. But i do recommend it.

He didn't go through all this effort just for you to fall out of love, to get bored of him. That's... That's just wrong. How could you? How fucking selfish do you have to be?! "I don't love you anymore."... Just like that. Breg can't understand, he can't- That's not a thing. That's an excuse, and a cruel, pointless, disgusting one at that. Just tell him, okay? If he did something wrong, tell him.

Don't play around like that. Breg really doesn't like that joke, angel. It's not funny. You might not want to say that again.

Breg's first strategy is denial. Denial all the way. In fact, one of the first things he does is leave the conversation, mostly not to hurt you or himself during the initial shock of it. He'll return some time later, pretending the exchange didn't happen, and everytime you try to start the same topic, he'll loudly interrupt, or desperately seek for a distraction. This may lead him to grabbing you too hard in an effort to get to you divert your attention to something else, but the breeder express clear regret when you cry out.

Then comes the silence.

And if you've been around Breg enough (a year will do), then you know this is around the time where you either drop a subject completely or deal with the consequences of pressing on. Breg won't reply to you when you start conversations about falling out of love, and he will oftentimes try to remove himself from the situation or do something to keep himself occupied and to prevent his mind from wondering.

Persist and Breg will take drastic measures.

You get an explosive reaction. Breg will reveal to you how deeply this is affecting him, breaking down into a crying, screaming, snarling mess about how none of it is fair, about how he only wanted to love you, how he's been behaving so well and doing everything right and you don't get to take his happiness away- You just don't. He's furious, he's broken. He can't function without you, he only bothered to integrate into society fully because of you, so you'd love him, see him as a proper mate. By some miracle of God, Breg actually succeeded, everything was so fucking perfect, and now you just had to ruin it, didn't you?

Well no. That's not how this is going to end at all. You don't get to decide.

Maybe it's time you take a break, stay home, and let Breg handle the bigger things, yes? Don't worry about anything, he'll take care of it. Because clearly, the two of you need some alone time. This is the initial stage of the kidnapping phase, and while there is room to salvage your current situation, you're on thin fucking ice, angel.

It's only a matter of time until Fasma stumbles onto this sad scene and advises Breg on how to properly keep someone captive.

it’s me again ! first off, wonderful chapter as always—you know well that I love your writing, and it’s no wonder that so many people are as passionate about this series as you are because … hello … your writing is so fucking good?!!? I READ ONE WORD AND IM LIKE “ohhh purrrr okay” like your word is fact and IT IS FACT. but I really liked how the chapter just focused on the 🧡 domestic 🧡 of it all, and it was just the sweetest chapter. I loved it so much. I especially LOVED the rain content I got in this chapter, that’s my man my man my man and the whole time i was likee shitttt 🫦🫦🫦🫦🫦 when we got a lil spicy. You write spice scenes beautifully by the way, the way you incorporate the intimacy of it, the chase of pleasure, the love the characters feel for eachother is something i eat UP. and i am going to be so for real when i say the way he (presumably) spoke to the reader, the way he was like “you are beautiful.” and it was so like. raw. and vulnerable and it was so *true* i deadass wanted to cry

like I DONT KNOW. I feel so much love for rain as a character, the GHOULS, in general and this story just strengthens my love even more—it personifies it actually; the only difference is that if the ghouls ever took me into the pack i wouldn’t question it at all and infact i’d fully believe i was in paradise already actually i would be like “oh you wanna ?? you wanna have a lil sleepover where everybody gets naked and sleeps next to eachother and just loves? shit im down lets go!” i just. i feel so much love for them. they give me so much comfort, and your story gives me so much comfort—i love binging this series because it never fails to make me happier:) that one part where rain was just kissing the reader and they were just being all lovey dovey put me in my feelings because oh my goshhh i wish i wish i wish !!!! I love phantom and rain they’re my lovies. I hope we get more scenes of all three of them (reader, phantom and rain) where they’re all just cuddling and being happy and giggling and kicking their feet cause that woild heal me. ALSO CIRRUS. CIRRUS I LOVE CIRRUS SO MUCH her little feature in the story gave me happiness :( and AETHER AND MARGARET awwww i love them theyre so adorbs!!! I specifically like the line “[…] making her feel again the young woman who ran among the ghouls every chance she got that she was.” i have no particular reason why, its just so heartwarming. I love how you portray each and every character. Also, Phantom picking Dew up and Dew just cursing him out? …me and who I MEAN I MEAN— i literally live for that dynamic though like okay i see you, i see you! I think it’s adorable and that they’re both adorable and that everything in this chapter is adorable and i am so so happy and fulfilled everytime you post another chapter

the latest chapter was like dipping a mango in the sweetest sugar one can find and eating it. basically, i was in heaven. however…

no mention of ifrit 👁️ it worries me to an extent. cuz wdym copias showering ALL of the ghouls. wdym you can hear ALL of their shouts of disobedience. that is NAWT. all of the GHOULS. Where is IFRIT. is he okay. i am worried . i hope hes alright. i hope the shack is homely. i hope hes okay. :( im a big softie.

overall, this chapter REVIVED me. it gave me the motivation I needed to lock in and start reviewing for my upcomign exams. (next week bleh) it gave me LIFE. even. it gave me a good SKINCARE ROUTINE. It gave me ALL OF THE MONEY FROM ITS WALLET. it gave me NEW CLOTHES! I really loved it, truly. You are blessed with such wonderful writing ability—and i hope to see more:D the next chapter will be like a reward to me; much needed after i slave away studying for my several exams🕵️‍♂️ for future reference, i was wondering if we could ask you more questions about the story and some scenarios about it? like for example, “how would the ghouls react to the reader who, upon realizing they were being integrated into the pack, was very happy and actively integrated themselves into the packs routine” or something like that? i like to pry and prod at characters, test their limits and all—also, I hope you know that in actuality, the fact that you’re writing stories so good that I cannot help but send you reviews of the chapter, is the best part for me, myself. I'll start by saying that you can ask all the questions you want, request headcanons, scenarios, and anything else you'd like. No problem at all, especially since I've just finished the fourth page of chapter 17 (18 for AO3), so I'm really nearing the end, then I'll start working on what's coming next.

Both headcanons and scenarios, whether connected to HUITS or not, are welcome. You (all) can spam more than one request, even better, so I have more choices on what to do first and what to do later :P

That said! It's pretty obvious by now, but I'm really a sucker for the domestic. I'm a country girl, and the sexiest thing someone can wear is flour. Additionally, I quite like relating the fact that before Copia, the ghouls were in close contact with the sisters (besides being social), so they're not at all stressed by the change.

Regarding the spicy scenes, thank you for noticing HAHA. Actually, there's a fundamental issue (which is that I'm a lesbian), so I don't find the idea of a very explicit scene particularly moody or exciting. On the contrary, the overall vibe seems almost tastier than the act itself. I mean, the action is the same, but if the person changes (or the ghoul in this case), all the attitudes around it change. Phantom is awkward, shy, 100% a “missionary because he can both hold your hand and look you in the eyes” type. Rain is more desperate, more needy; he doesn't care about physical contact but wants the visual because he wants to be seen as the "cause" of your pleasure. Dew, on the other hand, would probably keep your head in the pillow because he hates eye contact and doesn't want vulnerability during intimate moments. It's all more frenetic, more intense.

The dish is the same; the presentation, the seasoning, and the sides change.

Regarding the bit where Rain looks lovingly at the reader, I swear I wanted to hit him with a metal bar (affectionately, of course) because he's truly in love. It's not just physical need; it's a need he feels almost in his veins to be yours.

You're so right about the reactions. My two beta readers laughed so hard at the part where the reader hesitates to undress because it's these little things that make it clear I'm not projecting myself but structuring a character (I live undressed; I probably would have been naked before everyone else, to be honest).

Based on this review, I feel like telling you that you'll like the next chapter. One of the requested things is in there. Not Ifrit, but to understand why Ifrit was saved but doesn't appear, I think you'll have to get to the last chapter. The first chapters were introductory, but the plot started from the first trip to the ministry. For now, I don't think anyone understands what's happening. Even though the story is from your point of view, some things will only make sense in the final two chapters (including that poor beast).

But I promise you he's okay! I haven't listened to the song yet, though, because I haven't written for a month or two, so I waited to get back into the vibe before listening to it.

.......... Oh this is genuinely so difficult to answer. Idk? I guess I'm definitely passionate, that is a plus? If I get an idea stuck in my head it's all I want to talk about and sometimes I could spend the whole day just writing (which I regularly have to remind myself that I shouldn't do that, because Real Life and Responsibilities exist, lol)

17: Do you write your story from start to finish, or do you write the scenes out of order?

Definitely have a tendency to write everything out of order and only go with what I want to write about in that particular moment, but I'm trying to get better about it, especially when it comes to writing whole chapters out of order!
