long exhaustive rant about WHY I hate the poison scene

In quite a few posts on my blog I mentioned I didn’t like the poison scene, in this post I want to explain why I don’t like it.

My main issue is the person who the boarded the scene, raphielle, who actively ships Valentino x Angel Dust and who SEXUALLY HARASSED A MINOR. They also cosplayed as Angel Dust and uploaded photos of them and a Valentino cosplayer making out.

Also a quote in this comic is actually in the show. Straight from the comic, maybe it’s just an insane coincidence who fucking knows /sar.

*I have not watched the animatic Raph made, but I have heard some things about it and THIS. FUCKING THIS IS THE CONTENT WARNING. THIS IS SO DISTASTEFUL.

This person story boarded Angel Dust getting raped to a pop song, they have stated they are not an SA survivor. They ship Angel Dust and his rapist. This is grounds to be uncomfortable with the poison scene, but it doesn’t end there!

Vivziepop argued with SA survivors on if the representation of SA in Hazbin Hotel was good, LYING ABOUT RAPH BEING AN SA SURVIVOR.

An official remix of Poison was made for Angel Dust’s birthday, this remix includes voice lines of Valentino. Vivziepop then liked a Valentino x Angel Dust tweet.

Vivziepop has also shown a clear interest in Valentino/shipping him with others, and liking a bunch of VoxVal tweets.

What the fuck is this. During these lines Angel Dust is dancing with Valentino, looking happy. I’ve seen people thinking that these scenes actually showed Valentino and Angel Dust’s honeymoon phase, but CONTEXT! CONTEXT I SAY, CONTEXT! PLEASE READ THE REST OF THE POST CLOSELY!

“Oh but Rowan (hi if anyone is looking at this post, my name is Rowan) you’re just media illiterate and think any representation is fetishised!” Dead wrong actually. I enjoy seeing my trauma represented, it’s a good thing. Once again, CONTEXT.

The Living Tombstone wrote a song in which Angel Dust gets graphically raped, storyboarded by someone with a rape fetish. The MV shows Angel Dust in these eye candy outfits and pretty colour palettes.

Travel Blog: Leipziger Buchmesse Friday

Timcampy's Adventures, meeting Friends & Religious Gold

Day two of the Bookfair. Today I was about to wear the new variant of the Runaway Outfit again, which I had made for the Polaris back last year AND the new Innocence I just made one week before the con.

Day two started very early for me ... I woke up at 3 in the morning and with a cat using me as trampoline and the overstimulation from the day before I was alerted by everything.

But I wanted to cosplay still. And even work with Make up again. I am super unskilled with Make up for Cosplay because aside the curse I haven't used any since my teens and just started doing it in ... October. I have learned quite a bit since then like switching to a different type of make up that doesn't need 5 days to be scrubbed off, that's better for my already sensitive eyes.

I also snapped off one of the nails from the Innocence and learned I need ... assisstance when visiting the bathroom while wearing it. oof.

I'm thankful I was not the driver for this day and just was able to chill for once after being stuck in traffic the evening before.

This time we actually started with taking different photos before the hall got too full, we even made a small video.

For the fair itself the section for comics/manga had started as a part of the fantasy and children's section ages ago and 10 years ago it got its own hall and even was expanded last year to 1 1/2 halls. Hall 1 was mainly artists this time with a HUGE department for artists and several rows of an artists alley along with some merchants. The half of Hall 3 was different publishers like Crunchyroll, Tokyopop, Nintendo and bigger merchants or even other conventions.

I have to say my feeling of hunger was not existent that day but I felt my eyes were getting worse, I even had to put on my glasses for a while, hoping it would be better. Was truly motivated me was that the german DVD/Blu Ray Publisher of D.Gray-man still recognized me and asked me to return with the 1st Uniform to take Photos for promoting the series on their Instagram and I was just .. wow. Still can't believe they asked me.

While we wandered the glass hall several times for finding my DGM Mutuals we decided to give the other sections a visit as Alu had a mission and as we walked through the religious section one vendor gave us a little bible book and ... "real gold" ... uhm.. Mister you know I'm running away from the church yes? :'D

After that we went to one of the big book shops and of course I had to look up some cook books. My guilty pleasure. But this time I didn't end up buying a ton, I only got one.

Back in the glass hall I was finally able to locate my DGM Mutuals and we made a pile of Tims as you can see. Haha. I'm so glad I am brave enough to talk to people again, it was an issue in the past that I just shyly crossed their ways and wished they would notice me, but nope, not this time. I also walked to other cosplayers and told them I love their costumes. Just to brighten up their day.

A few more impressions from the location itself. If you look closely you can spot the D.Gray-man Nendos of Allen, Kanda and Lavi. Oh and I finally got a pocket watch again! Mainly for my past!Allen Cosplay if I will wear it again, the owl reminds me of the bookshop emblem we see in chapter 249.

As we later sat down in the glass hall, we got myself a snack for photos and put aside our stuff and I didn't notice but a friend of a friend took Timcampy and played around with him. Until they complained that parts weren't made to their liking and that was the point I was close to snapping. I can tell my was over everything already with the little sleep I had, my eyes acting up, running around all day long already.

I tried to get lost while we went on another window shopping trip and actually bought a Ramen and an Udon bowl. Just to drop the bag 2 minutes after buying. Then I only had a Ramen bowl and a pile of shards. All went downhill then I didn't want to talk, I didn't want a hug, I sat down and tried not to have a panic-mental-breakdown-whatever. I even went out into the rain just to RUN to get the steam off. I went to my friend Julia who luckily involved me into small talk that calmed me down. But the day was ruined. I returned to my friends but some of theirs popped up and started a conversation, usually they are very lovely and I like them but I just couldn't listen to someone talking anymore. I left them to just walk around.

It was late already and it had started pouring, for now I decided just to stare at the rain running down the glass.

My friends wanted to calm me down, hug me, but I declined. I didn't want to talk. We went back to Schu's place, I had dinner and went to bed, rolling myself into a blanket like a burrito.

What book are you currently reading? I started the sun and the star but I've been way too distracted with fics, writing, and drawing :(

I also got my first pair of combat boots and I'm obsessed with them even though I still haven't managed breaking them in. but also I love jeans and a good shirt paired with a waistcoat! and when it's not hot I almost always wear an old man's cap

OGGH I managed to reach Act 5 and it was so engrossing I kept playing all day clear through to the end of Act 6! ISAT is such a good game!!!!! All the twists and turns were so engaging and seeing all the lil callbacks and details in Act 5 was sososos good! The way things tied together in Act 6 was so nice n climactic too! I’ll def be thinking abt this game for a while now! I feel a bit bad that I’ll have to hop back and interrupt Sif’s ending and stay in Act 4 a bit longer to get some achievements I missed (mostly the dagger related ones and probably the Loop convos if I don’t get too frustrated with it) but anyway I’m glad excited to finally be able to go through your blog and see all of your posts abt Normal Man Isa-Loops and the posts that I skimmed over now that I can officially see spoilers! Cheers, and thank you again fpr being the one tp make me start up ISAT in the first place! It's been an absolute blast, and I'm already in deep enough that Im planning out a Sif cosplay before even doing my full deep dive into all the fanworks lol! ~ occasionalreplies

there's this girl i used to know, well, she was more like. an acquaintance i guess. we only messaged a few times, and i sent her a lovely gift for her birthday once that she really really loved, but. i was absolutely smitten with her from afar. i wrote poems about her and everything. oh, and might i mention, she was the one who introduced me to neil gaiman and have loved his work ever since. this was like in 2015, but i still think about her to this day bc i'm weird and start to miss people terribly at random times.

anyway, something happened back then, and she sort of. dropped off the face of the earth or something. it almost feels like i hallucinated this entire person, but i KNOW i didn't bc she was fairly popular in this one fandom back in the day, and there's pictures of her like in cosplay and stuff, etc. but she deleted her blog here, her insta, everything. and i've tried my best to look for any sign of her anywhere on the internet on a few occasions, but like i said. it's as if she was erased from the book of life. and it freaks me out. it scares me to death. i can't help this gnawing feeling at the back of my mind that something happened to her. i truly hope with all my might that she's okay. but as of today, i'm holding back tears, feeling hopeless of ever finding and reconnecting with her ever again. i miss her terribly.

i just hope she's okay.

Have you ever cosplayed or thought about cosplaying anything from Doctor Who? I've been thinking about a classic Cyberman costume for a hot minute now.

Oh this question amused me because I actually got my start cosplaying with Doctor Who (evidence of which can be found far, far back in the archives of my blog and in the memory of my oldest followers/mutuals)

For Halloween my junior year of high school, I dressed up as the Tenth Doctor (which was somewhat ironic, considering by the time I actually wore the costume my opinion had already begun to shift on not liking Ten all that much, but I'd started putting the costume together from thrift store finds over the summer when I had just gotten into the show and didn't realize there were other eras I liked a lot more!)

The year after that, my sisters and I all dressed up as different Doctors for Denver Comic Con, which I consider my first real "cosplay" seeing as it was the first time I wore a costume to a convention. I dressed up as Eight (who was I was a tiny bit obsessed with at the time) and I also put together my youngest sister's Fifth Doctor costume -- which was especially fun, because people were delighted to see someone her age dressed up as a Classic Doctor, and she got to show it off to Peter Davison himself who clearly thought she was adorable.

Not the best photo quality because these were both nabbed on my very old iPod touch, I'm pretty sure. The second one is one of my favorite pictures ever though, not just because it's cute (although it super is) but because it's why I always tell people Sylvester McCoy is an incredibly lovely human in person.

This was back in 2014, before DCC was quite as big and polished, so instead of expensive celebrity photo ops these were like $20 "selfies" the con still offered (hence being taken on my iPod). My middle sister and I both decided to go for pictures with him, but my littlest sister -- who was only 9 at the time -- had already spent the money she'd saved up for the convention getting an autograph from Peter Davison. So the two of us did our pictures, and then he took one look at her, a tiny child dressed as one of the Classic Doctors and clearly looking at him in awe from afar (Five was her favorite doctor at the time, but she also really loved Ace, so she knew Seven when she saw him!) and told her to come on over for her picture, too.

I immediately went to explain she didn't have the money for a photo and he just as immediately put a hand up, looked meaningfully at his handler, and proclaimed "No, no, I'll be taking this one with my friend."

It was thoughtful and adorable and you can bet when we got home that day my sister was gushing about it to our parents, saying "Seven says I'm his friend!" (Which again, she loved Ace, so that was high praise!). Still one of the kindest celebrity encounters I've ever had, and I have such fond memories of all those costumes as a result. I think it's really neat that one of the first cosplays I ever made ended up being a part of something so special.

i do like halsin, i just haven't come up with hcs for him yet. i have never added minthara to my party, i've barely met jaheira, but i do adore dame aylin and isobel soooo much and would def do hcs/write a fic about them...just realized they aren't on my fandom list must go add them omg.

i looveee dammon!! i haven't met back up with him since act 1, but i think he is so handsome, charming, and i really ship him with karlach. i think there's something very intimate about how he helps her with her infernal engine and essentially can help her get the ability to touch people back, so like...what if they touched, yknow?? lol. i don't get any specific tickly vibes from him, i just really think he's a cool character!!

i also love alfira, i think she is so fucking beautiful and i wish you could have a fling with her or something because damn. again, no specific tickly vibe, i just think her character design is gorg and her little scenes are great.

this one is weird but i love the nurses in the shadow-cursed lands, sisters lidwin and sinda?? they are SO COOL LOOKING AND CREEPY AHHHH. 0 headcanons, not the vibe, just think they are so cool and i weirdly like wanna cosplay them even though i don't cosplay lol.

Well, I had to do what I promised on the poll that I made.

This blog is dedicated to my attempt to do amateur Cosplay (Well, Crossplay) as Prosecutor Ito, from Mega Man Battle Network 6.

Amateur indeed, since I didn't and don't have a red tie, so I had to use a Bowtie. I feel that Ito could use a bowtie, I think. Also, I don't have formal shoes, so I had to use my cute beige Sneakers.

Yeah, I'm that amateur. But after all, I'm just casual and I'll not dedicate myself to cosplay. I'll sticking with drawings and other things.

I'll try to show the photos in chronological order.

WARNING// My real face (lol)

My first attempt on doing the Ito cosplay. It was December of 2022, and at one weekend there was a Geek/Nerd event. At Saturday, I went to buy a short for the cosplay. It kinda hurt my wallet back then, but oh well.

I even went to show off my Cosplay. I was SO nervious to show off to present my character, and I think I showed up too much introduction to my character. Eh, first times. But the best thing is that ONE PERSON recognized my character!! And he even took a picture of me! That made my day! ;w;

But I didn't took pictures on the event itself. But instead I took some photos during my way to walk to home. I took pictures nearby a tree, which fitted so well. (I took more but at that moment it was SO windy it kinda ruined some photos, in a funny way. Also, the book used was my copy of Fahrenheit 451. I didn't have a law book, so I improvised... yeah.)

Months later, now in 2023, I attended another event, the first event of a major Nerd event in my town. I even participated on the Cosplay contest. I sadly didn't took photos of myself on that event, except a few ones of me eating a origini. (That origini was delicious)

BUT as a compromise. I'll tell my experience on the Cosplay event... OH BOY.

I wasn't sure to participate, but then I decided to eat up my pride and participate. Adding to me not having a tie nor formal shoes, my hair, my natural hair by the way (not a wig), was long. But at least I complimented the Cosplay with a borrowed copy of my country's constitution. Yes really.

So yeah. But the most awkward detail was, I had to act in-character. And I was like "OH... FUCK". Ito doesn't do much, except operate JudgeMan or being the happy doomer prosecutor that we know. The NetNavis do the cool battle stuff, while the humans excluding some, don't do much. So yeah...I had to improvise. Using dialogue but... I didn't have a microphone, not they provided me one. So yeah. I had a massive disadvantage, and when I tried to speak, probably didn't reached to so many people. When I LAST attempted to "jack-in" JudgeMan at something, I did it in front of the judges, and I jumped out of embarassement. And fun? fact, acting while having your eyes close is, and I repeat, H.A.R.D. HARD, All caps. At least the judges told that the majority of time I actually looked at the public.

When I had to leave the scenario, I had to cover my face with the book, while my friends dragged me outside. I felt that my I wouldn't Cosplay as Ito again. This situation could've been more embarassing, if it wasn't for my friends supporting me during the whole dear, I REALLY appreciate them. ;w;

At least someone asked who's my character, and I told the lore around him, but I had difficulties due to my speech impediment with my unability to pronounce the hard R letter. (And in extention, the RR as well)

I had to recover the embarassment after that. I seriously considered NOT to Cosplay as Ito again... But at least I managed to eat my pride, accept that I did it and I should move on from that.

I also did a Tiktok making Ito dance a bit with the audio of Bo's "A really good book" Vine. I thought that the Vine fitted Ito SO MUCH that I had to do it while I was home alone. It was hard to find the perfect position to place my phone in orden to record that video. But yeah, I tried. Now I don't remember if I did it before or after the previously mentioned event. I think I did the TikTok before the event? I'm lazy to check the dates.

Now, in September, I managed to get a haircut. And in some moment, I had the idea to Cosplay and act like Ito for a moment. So I did it, and did some photos. I take more but I decided to put this three ones.

I also acted and did some videos of me acting as Ito and being angsty and edgy. Yes really. I tried to act. I also did some videos of Ito trying to awkwardly dance to Nürnberg's Valasy. I love Nürnberg's music, btw.

And now, the previous weekend, there was the second edition of the Nerd event on my town, and again I went as Ito. But I didn't participated on the Cosplay event. Because come on. I don't want to show off as Ito again, not due to embarassment, but because It's kinda boring of my part to show off again as Ito. Okay?

Anyways, despite the overwhelming first day, that and the second day I had fun. It was fun! I didn't took that much photos of myself. The first one I took it myself, but the second and third one I had a friend who took those photos of me in my cosplay. And the last photo, I did it after returning to home. (I also took one of myself with the brown jacket that I used in case that the day became cold. I think that jacket fitted Ito.)

So yeah!

As when I ate my pride to participate that contest, I'll be eating my pride showing my real face and dressing as my cuestionable blorbo.

And random fun fact, the me posing showing three fingers, is a reference to a Japanese fanart where Yuika, Vic and Ito pose showing three fingers, like a W. WWW, World Three. I love that fanart.

I kinda feel weird and kinda lonely being the major Prosecutor Ito fangirl. But oh well. That's kinda my curse. (?

(I hope I can get braces... When my friend took some photos, I felt self-conscious about my two weirdly-located frontal teeth. Well. Gotta save money. ;w;)

Incomings, WiPs & Plans for February

First of all, my big announcement for this month: I bought the doll base for Howard Link <3 he will be a Charmdoll LaiKa! As the boy got released I instantly knew this will be my Link, I waited almost 7 months the last time so .. I don't think I will see him before summer.

My current incomings look like this now:

No updates on the other bodies or Pallu by now, but that's okay C:

In terms of Work in Progress dolls, those are the dolls that are currently unfinished:

Yup, you see that right. That pile SHRANK down to basically the ones needing bodies and Darjeeling. And Darjeeling is just waiting for a dress to be finished then.

I *could* start on Adam's clothes as I have the pattern and fabrics here but I think i will do that once his body got shipped. For Kanda and Maple I need the bodies for measurements.

Everyone else is finished. Only small adjustments or upgrades left like swapping eyes or shoes. For bby!Allen I am still working on some little additions, like a plushy

Not done cutting parts here, I'm considering doing a scaled up version for personal fun reasons, why not having a huge Timcampy?

Other than that I will most likely spend the next day tidying up my sewing mess and organizing fabrics, buttons and materials, I.. went a bit wild the last days.

Because yeah... you maybe were able to guess it but Lavi is done. Just finished him today, I have yet to put his photos into the queue, I'm trying to sort my mind right now because the last month was a lot. All I can tell right now is that it feels like a huge burden is off my chest, I think the curse is finally broken, he lost his 'tainted' status shortly after I wrote the blog entry about those dolls but now the 'preorders from hell' finally came to an end (I ignore the one going on though I just sit here and wait that's okay) and that's just ... wow. That needs to sink in.

Inbetween I'm working on my assinged page for the redraw project, I want to give it more time than I usually take as this project is special and I draw a lot therefore improve here and there and I don't want to redo the whole thing in like 2 weeks again just because I rushed it x_x'

When Tim is done I will revert to working on Cosplay and will start on my variant of Crown Clown, which is roughly planned for the Dokomi to be finished. I tested some of the materials today and I think this will be a fun project overall as I can be more artistic this time.

While we are at 'artistic' I have an appointment on the 16th to get my 4th tattoo, this will go onto my left arm to continue my sleeve. It's just my sketch, my artist want to mash up several ideas for the border to match more with the vibe of the Manga & the rest of my shoulder.

He was also amazed how well my shoulder tattoo has healed and how great the shading came out. Dunno if I will be able to do much after getting the tattoo but I'm right handed therefore... maybe a bit less on the strenght training then.

Oh, my juggling has advanced a bit, I am now able to catch 3 balls more than once, I'm still not close to juggle 3 balls but tiny steps here.

Doll Photoshootings is the thing getting time cut though, the weather here is awful anyways :/ hope it will get better soon but the days get longer and then I have more time in the evenings.

Biden puts down the hecklers by using their words and pivoting topics to what he knows will get a big applause from his supporters. Nicely done.

FYI, I'm NOT going to watch the rebuttal. I'm not very tolerant of liars.

Overall, that was one of the more fiery and progressive speeches I've seen a President give at the #SOTU.

My last comment as I'm going to have dinner now: That part of the speech where he spanked the Republicans over Social Security was a golden moment. I'm not going to forget that.

Watched the second half of Addicted last month, saw some tiktoks of Stay With Me that looked good, saw people losing their minds over it on r/boyslove, so I'm watching this.

Overall Thoughts:

Well, this is really as close as BL you can get without saying out loud that they are dating but there are innuendos galore and it's pretty clear (there was lube on their bed, like...). So it didn't really feel unfulfilling as if something was missing because like... they were together pretty much lol.

The family aspect was the best, I love that we got to see Su Yu's situation so much and his blended family and the way they were always there together. You can understand why Wu Bi prefers the warmth of their home over the coldness of his, though we got to see progress on that end too. Duoduo sooo cute, little munchkin.

The ending is... an ending, that's for sure. Hope we get a season 2 next year but who knows.
