19, 38, 42 for villain!James

19. If you had the chance to switch places with Henry in return for your freedom, would you?

"No." James says without hesitation, he doesn't need to think it over because he knows he couldn't possibly do that. Just the thought of putting Henry through this hell after everything he's done for him hurts.

"As much as I would love to be free of this situation, I couldn't live with myself if I did this to someone I care about. It wouldn't even be freedom, would it? Having to carry that guilt for the rest of my life?" He pauses for a moment before adding. "Would be a shitty way to treat Henry after all the help he's given me."

38. Why did you let this happen?

Anger flashes across James' face. "I didn't let this happen!" His voice is hard, but frustration is mixed in with the anger. It's far from the first time he's been blamed for the situation and he's so tired of it! Tired of being judged and treated like a horrible person because of Cordelia's lies.

"It's not my fault that Cordelia tried to kill me because I discovered who she really is!" His eyes narrow into a glare. "What was I supposed to do? Give up and let her kill me? Agree to her terms and lie for her while she hurts people?"

42. Do you think you have a future?

"Honestly?" James sighs heavily. "The chances of that aren't looking great right now. The only way things will turn for the better is if I stop Cordelia and expose her. The only other outcome is that she either captures or kills me. Unfortunately, that outcome seems the most likely right now." He doesn't sound as scared as he would have felt when all this started, now he's mostly just tired. The fights and uneasy living situation has really worn him down.

James frowns a little and hesitates, wondering if continuing is really a good idea. But then again, how much harm could it do? "Maybe not the next time we fight, or the time after that, but so far I've just come out on the losing side and at some point the injuries following a fight might just be too severe to handle." In fact, James knows this would have already happened if it wasn't for Henry's help, but he decides against mentioning him. Better to be safe than sorry.

James Kennedy

A sweet and all around good hearted person who enjoys helping people, which lead him to becoming a surgeon. He loves music and plays the piano and is also a big fan of being out in nature.

James is a very non-violent person and thus never had any interest in learning how to fight, which works in his disadvantage when he gets kidnapped.

Villain!James AU

An alternate universe where James, who once was a part of an official superhero team is forced onto a path of villainy due to some unfortunate events. Without the support of the hero agency and with everyone he knows turned against him, James' life suddenly gets a whole lot harder.

Superhero AU

This au comes from a roleplay story over on discord but drabbles of it might show up here! In this universe, heroes can only use their powers to fight crime if they sign up with the government. But that means signing over your own say in what you think is right or not, which doesn't appeal to James. So he is doing it on his own, which is very dangerous and very illegal.

Dark!James AU

Basically a whumper au! This version of James uses his knowledge from being a surgeon to whump people, unbeknownst to the people in his life. Except from his boyfriend in that one rp where this James shows up for the first time

Rigel

Real name: Spencer.

He's held captive by a woman named Cordelia who is set on making Spencer her pet. After a long time of torture and conditioning, she succeeded and Spencer, now Rigel doesn't really remember who he was. He's loyal to Cordelia and adores her. He becomes a trained fighter and is frequently made to fight others for Cordelia's and her friends' amusement.

Cordelia

Cruel, manipulative and sadistic. Really pleased with what she has achieved with Rigel. She enjoys fancy, expensive things and part of her income is from the fights she makes Rigel take part in.

Harrison

I don't really have a lot on him tbh, I just know that he's a cruel bastard who has taken liking to tormenting James 😆
