BIO: Raised by her aunt Doris and her husband, renowned marine biologist Dr. Trafford, Velia decided to take her own interest in the deep sea in a different direction. Having spent hours as a kid in her uncle’s lab sketching his most exotic specimens, she developed a talent for visual arts and a dark, otherworldly art style that was eventually noticed by Shadow High. She’s focusing in visual arts and continues to amaze her teachers and classmates with her speculative paintings and 3D-printed sculptures of the kind of nightmare-worthy sea life that lurks in the darkest depths of the ocean. She’s even added these ideas and motifs to her personal style (like her custom headband inspired by the lure of the anglerfish) so everybody knows she’s a force of darkness to be reckoned with. In spite of the unorthodox creative path she’s chosen, her aunt and uncle couldn’t be prouder of her.

Backstory: (warning for abelism, intersexism, captivity, neglect)

Elias Leroux has been disabled from birth. Their scoliosis presented rather early in life, but other disabilities took longer to notice. Their parents were not the most caring, and rather neglectful. They were left alone in a room and forgotten about, like an old trinket left to collect dust. They became self sufficient, but at further cost of their physical health. On occasion in their youth, Elias would find their small room and windows locked from the outside. This would then increase in frequency the older they grew, until they were never allowed to see anyone anymore. Their parents were ashamed of their child, and, it seemed, would prefer to pretend they had no child at all. No parties, no friends, no life outside of their room.

Being intersex, and unable to pass as a girl, Elias' parents forced them to live the life of a boy. This provided them with the opportunity for a photography apprenticeship with an estranged Uncle, which later led to their escape. They were always aware of the threat however, that if they refused to conform, to do eveything in their power to pass as a man, they few freedoms it allowed them would be stripped away the instant they stepped out of line. It made them miserable, regardless.

An estranged Uncle came to visit, bringing cameras and photography apparatuses, and perhaps, taking pity on them, taught them about the light-sensitive process. When he explained he worked for a newspaper that wanted information about a fallen city far from their parent's house, Elias was able to come along on an apprenticeship, to try and photograph the remains of London.

Along the way, the driver would speak of many rumors, that it was plunged below the earth, that there was a card game you could lose you soul to, that there was a diamond the size of a cow. That last rumor was what intruiged them the most. Something like that and they could buy their way into respect, and things to help their disabilities.

There was also rumor they would be sent back to their parents after this trip, as they were 'unfit for apprenticeship'. Nothing stated directly out loud of course, but hidden between the lines.

When they arrived they broke away from their Uncle near-immedietly, stealing a suitcase of camera supplies. Elias then ran around committing as many crimes as they could in order to get arrested and sent below.

In-Game Storyline

Elias did manage to escape New Newgate, but not unscathed. In their escape attempt they had a rather nasty fall which further injured their back. All of their injuries on the Surface had also finally started to catch up to them, and they realized they needed a wheelchair. Luckily, the Soft-Hearted Widow they boarded with had a spare, and was content to give it to them for free. Elias still sends her many donations every year as thanks.

They finally set about pursuing their Ambition, and exploring the darker corners of the Neath, until a certain encounter with Poor Edward. He gave the quite a scare, and some rather awful tea, white as milk. They don't remember the rest of the night, nor most of what they had discovered. It's a shame too, they might have even married him!

But with their previous Ambition now forgotten, Elias was trying to figure out why they were down there. Surely it was that card game they had heard about? And so they persued that at an idle pace, almost scared of something they couldn't rememeber.

After that night though, they quickly made friends with every sort of person out there, even the not-so-people persons. They spent a long time in the Labyrinth of Tigers feeding things to the Wings of Thunder Bat.

And then there were the rumors of a Railway. So naturally, they began to progress that. Something peculiar happened in Jericho Locks that left them with the title of Head of the Guild, and a new Swan Mask.

The Railways was finished, with land and ownership promised to Tracklayers.

Elias and Harper Faraday were married on May 3rd of 1899. Married in (and perhaps to?) the Bazaar herself. As well as Elias' Bewildering Procession. Elias still has many other relationships as well that were not formalized with documents.

Oh, and then there was the collection of London's Blood, Marrow, Sinew, and Nerves.

And then, yes, eventually, their ambition. In the In-Game timeline they went for Adoration, and near-immedietly hid their crown as far out of sight as they could. In the nicer timeline, their affections for Mr. Hearts were returned, in their own way. They have a seperate-yet-together relationship to eachother, much the same as all of Elias' other loves.

Elias lives their days as a Chemist, inventing new dyes, and their nights as the life of the party, finally a part of the world and people around them.

Other Info:

Elias' First Hallowmas had quite the impact on them, and they regularly wear their Gant Moth mask. They love both the colors and moths of the Neath.

After the Horticultural Show, Elias' original wheelchair was destroyed along with the Fairy Tern in the Eye of the Occulus. Apples, who controls lumber, consulted Spices (and Transport), to make them another, with a heart shaped back.

Elias only became interested in fashion after their involvement with the Fashion Flies

They Will use their influence as Regent of London to make more places wheelchair accessible. It's the only time they'll wear their crown

Elias will cave for love! they have a strong moral code but... they can't risk not being loved

They're very good at sewing and enjoy it a lot, and most of their clothes are modified to flatter a sitting form

the Poisoner's Library (the waters of the Persephone flow through their veins. They won the Match, and have seemingly taken a place similar to the Bride. They were not as skilled with chemistry or Kataleptic Toxicology beforehand.)

Orgin: One time a space elet(not tsutsuji) lived in a community across the galaxy along with other space elets so far space elets were the only kind until one day, an elet decided to use magic for evil and attacked the community everyone died except for 1 (the space elet mentioned earlier) ran away and found a certain star system and decided to create (elets are asexual so dnt ask who the father is cuz there is none offspring gender possibility is random) 9 children (including tsutsuji) that was how the solar system was born. several billion years past(7 elet years) and tsutsuji was the only one who mastered magic and made(not children) other types of elets with the help of her mother and made the elets create life her siblings were proud of her except one who was jealous and ran away from the solar system. While her sibling was gone, she encountered two elets(not from the solar system) but were children from the elet that turned evil from earlier (they are not space elets they represent light and dark) and asked her where the last elets were and they would spare her but tsutsuji’s sister would had to become evil and she will instantly die and murdered if she didnt tell them her sister was way too jealous so she accepted. the light and dark elets found the location and killed all of tsutsuji’s siblings, tsutsuji’s mother could only save her and she try to save the other children but she failed her mother eventually died and hid tsutsuji as the dark and light elet thought they killed everyone the only thing was left was tsutsuji and her magic. she spent the next billion years protecting earth as the 9 children represented each planet and tsutsuji represented earth feeling depressed and feeling guilt though her personality is a mix of all so she experienced trauma in a different way though one day the light elet(dark elet was not there) and sent tsutsuji to earth hoping the phantom elet (Baioretto) would kill her as she lost all her powers and can die easily like a normal human would she hope she can get her magic back and defeat the dark and light elet and even their mother who caused it all

Seán Duffy grew up in a poor family in Clifden, Ireland. The oldest child with 2 younger siblings 8 years younger than him and a deceased father, Seán had to work tirelessly to help his mother keep a roof over their heads. He took whatever job he could find, from fast food to pest control to construction, effectively honing his skills and turning himself into a Jack of all trades. At 18 Seán joined the Irish army instead of going to college so he could immediately start making a wage, sending any and all money he made to his mother and siblings back in Clifden. He earned the callsign “Magpie” for his incredibly bad luck, always somehow managing to get in the worst situations possible, just barely making it out alive each time. He served faithfully before being offered a place in the 141 Taskforce by Kate Laswell and John Price, which he accepted, never looking back.

•Rusty's dad wasn't disappointed about having a daughter but made it very clear she wasn't being treated special or different than how he treated his sons.

•Rusty was was expected to help around the farm the same way his brothers were.

•Rusty's mom is pretty similar to Rusty's father. She is not the most personable and certainly didn't coddle her kids.

•She’d never admit it, but when she found out she was having a daughter, she was very nervous. She had only raised boys and only knew how to raise boys. She knew that she was not the most gentle and was terrified she'd raise her daughter "wrong."

•Rusty gets along with his mother better than his father but doesn't mind his father too much.

•Rusty vowed, though, to never end up like his father, who let his difficult life harden him. Rusty wants to stay a person and feel full of life even though life has been difficult.

•Rusty has always been closest to his brothers. Always tried to look like them. Always tried to act like them.

•His family doesn't know he's a lesbian explicitly, but they sure as hell know he isn't marrying a man. They don't mind necessarily. The Atwoods believe that blood is thicker than water, and you never turn your back on blood. Mom Atwood and Dad Atwood will love Rusty no matter what because he's their daughter, and that's all there is to it. It's a genuine love, too. Not just there because it has to be.

•It should be known that the Atwoods are known for having a mean streak of anger. Everyone in the family. Dad, mom, the three brothers, Rusty. Grandpa Atwood and Grandma Atwood were also known to get real nasty when they were angry. Mom Atwood has always told Rusty that she wasn't like that before she met his father. He allows her to feel things she may have had to stifle back home. Rusty respects that, acknowledges it, wishes he knew what his mother was like before she met his father.

•Rusty is trying really hard to wrangle in that temper. He doesn't like it unless he can use it to be productive.

•Rusty is outright cold to men unless they are family. He just doesn't like being around them. Doesn't like wasting time on them. Avoids them at all costs. When he works outside the farm, he talks to his co-workers, who are men as little as possible.

•When it comes to women, Rusty is the biggest flirt. He just loves women so much, and he just loves making them blush and smile. He is charismatic and knows it.

•While yes, Rusty is a natural flirt he knows how to stop when he has a girlfriend. He just lays his charm on thick instead, which his girlfriend usually enjoys anyways.

•Rusty actually met his girlfriend when he was holed up in some small town. She worked at the diner he frequented. What started out as simple hooking up turned into a full-blown relationship that neither can live without.

•Rusty's girlfriend packed up her things and followed him to his next destination.

•Rusty likes to travel a lot but is never gone from the farm for long. He always returns no matter what.

•He does though, really wanna buy a cabin up near the PNW with his girlfriend. Somewhere in the middle of nowhere,deep in the woods, so they can just live in their own little world, but he can't bear the idea of not going Home for all that long.

•Rusty's Girlfriend’s mom does not like him. She does not like that he travels so much. Does not like that her daughter is attached to his hip. Does not like what she's heard of the Atwoods, from Rusty himself. She just thinks he's no good.

•Rusty's girlfriend has tried to explain to her mom that they'd get along if they just talked a little, but her mom won't hear it.

•Rusty isn't too torn up about his girlfriend’s mom not liking him. As far as he's aware, she just doesn't get him or his family. All that matters to him is that Mom Atwood gets along with his girlfriend, and she does.

•In fact, the Atwoods really like Rusty's Girlfriend. They welcome her into their odd family with ease.

•They know without needing to be told that Rusty's Girlfriend is well, Rusty's girlfriend. His brothers WILL ask at some point, though. And they will be glad that he's finally told them. (Tbf he probably has *kinda* told them, but they wanted to hear it directly, no beating around the bush. But that's also the Atwood way. They do not like flowery language. Say what you mean and mean what you say.)

•While the Atwoods sound intimidating, they are fun in their own way. They fiercely love each other and genuinely enjoy spending time together.

•Rusty definitely has nieces and nephews living on the farm. Definitely from his oldest brother, who surely is married. But maybe the other ones as well. The Atwood farm is a bustling little place.

Noriko Dolion is a just and fair person to all, they have a strong sense of justice and moral code. Or at least that's how they used to be. Noriko is loyal to a fault to his master, their word is his law, his justice and sword is within their their judgment. They are ridden with guilt of past and current actions yet they can't disappoint those around them. They'll put themselves second to their masters wants, their mission.

They are serious to the point it could be considered comedic, they don't do well with comedy and jokes, yet they are polite (for the most part) and open minded.

BIO: The EDM prodigy sensation from Harajuku is now in the States, and the trip hasn’t slowed them down at all. Hotaru Yoruno, or NiteLite as they’re known on Spotify, brings an experimental, unique sound to Shadow High’s music scene. Combining discordant pianos/violins and eerie synthesized vocals with backing tracks including things like old handset ringtones, heart monitors, and computer error sounds, Hotaru’s music style is best described as something out of a weird dream, and their listeners like it that way. In Hotaru’s mind, every musical rule has a loophole, and music theory doesn’t equal music fact. They draw their inspo mostly from underground lo-fi artists and Vocaloid producers from the dark side of NicoNicoDouga, which adds a definite nostalgic edge to their work. Most people don’t know that Hotaru is actually a decent vocalist in their own right, but they lack the confidence to put that much of themself in their work. Maybe someday…but not without some serious audio filtering.

-Hailing from the Harajuku district in Tokyo, they’re fifteen years old.

-Yes, they’ve used UTAU at least twice in their music composition (they haven’t used vocaloid yet but their favourites are Iroha, Piko, and vflower).

Choosing to remain out of sight as much as possible, they began convincing individuals to take a different path to change this timeline’s chain of events and swearing them to secrecy. Only once Shao Kahn is destroyed do they make themself known to Earthrealm’s defenders as a whole.
