Moon 0

Here's a bit of backstory and the patrol events of Moon 0! I don't plan on relying on such a big block of text in the future, but I wanted to be able to post this update today and wouldn't be able to draw a second comic page in time for the leader ceremony so I just wrote out the text description. Maybe one day I'll go back and fully flesh out the whole ceremony and more backstory, but for now this will do! And since this is just moon 0, I chose not to illustrate anything special for the patrol updates.

I am still figuring out exactly how I want to do the comic pages, so any feedback would be helpful! The smaller events will be shown like the third page, where more major events will be illustrated like the first page. Probably with less backgrounds because the first page took forever. ;w; I do want to include some writing and lore here and there. We'll see how it goes! This is very much an experiment.

MOON 9 & 10 [Leaf-Bare]

FrogPaw became our full Healer of CavernClan. (I forgot to put his name in the his name is FrogStripe)

In Moon 10 DustStar found a kit that he called the Tom DeerKit and I don't think starclan likes this (Lore? Drama? IDK)

We also got Frog headcanon mom Brindle who is also in Moon 10 meets her lesbian partner who is unknown but is the one who gave birth to Frog.

This warrior is a talented fighter, a swift runner, and an energetic feline. He is very playful and can be immature at times but can be very serious when he has to be. Frogleap is loyal and strong. He's pretty smart and is able to easily read ones body language to determine how they are feeling. Frogleap is still pretty young and found to be very handsome among the clans.

i'll tell you about my ocs! my main oc is robinstorm, a shadowclan cat who tricks her family into life-threatening situations in an attempt to get them killed. this whole backstory has undergone a lot of edits so i'm still unsure who she'll end up killing or what will happen in the aftermath, but my end goal is for to slip away and leave shadowclan behind of her own volition.

frogpaw is the shadowclan medicine cat apprentice, and she is terminally in everybody else's business. she's a nosy little shit. however she is also robinstorm's only friend. so you have the world's grumpiest, most pathetic dilute tortie and this peppy little tabby who has decided they're besties.

basically, after committing murder and leaving her clan, robinstorm runs into frogpaw on her way out and pretends she's on a secret mission from their leader. frogpaw decides to tag along because, i cannot express this enough, she thinks Everybody's Business is her business, and she cannot read the room.

so the two of them go to twolegplace, where they meet some thunderclan exiles (friend's ocs) and form their own little group with them. robinstorm eventually finds a mate and has three kits, and frogpaw returns to shadowclan, but the bulk of the twolegplace stuff is unwritten because the rp was hung out to dry.

BESTIE I LOVE THEM!! God I ADORE the grumpy + sunshine dynamic, as well as nosy characters who Must be plot relevant <3 I also really like Robinstorm letting Frogpaw go with her, whether its reluctant or not lol. I think Robinstorm is simply a #girlboss and should be allowed to do whatever she wants forever. Feminism win!

General Info

Frogstream has always been a quiet tom. He hates attention and many had high expectations for him because his mother was Shadowclan’s leader. Frogstream knows he disappointed many cats with his lack of skills in the fighting and hunting department. Due to this he spends most of his time in camp building up the barrier or repairing dens. 

Frogstream is not often brought to gatherings due to Viperstar’s preference to bring natural fighters. Frogstream has not been to a gathering since he was an apprentice, but thankfully Briarclaw is willing to tell him what happens at gatherings. Frogstream is close to Briarclaw and is the only cat who knows who the father is. He was her greatest supporter during her pregnancy and stood up for her when the older warriors tried pressuring Viperstar into exiling her. 

Frogstream adores his mate, Birchfoot. He always found her to be beautiful and he admires her greatly. He tries to be the best mate for her, but his insecurities convince him he’s failing and Birchfoot has to reassure him he is good to her. The two plan on having kits eventually once they find a good surrogate.

Personality

Frogstream is very timid and quiet. He has only shown his fiercer side when someone threatens his sister or his mate and is very protective of both. He is a loyal warrior and is trying his best, but he is constantly worried he isn’t doing enough.

Fun Facts

- Frogstream broke the Full Moon truce once when an older Windclan cat tried courting Birchleap when she was an apprentice and wouldn’t leave her alone

- Frogstream has never been close to his parents and doesn’t truly consider himself their son

- Frogstream has six toes on both his hind paws
