Kit- I mean Dipperkit was named?? I'm so proud! She deserves it, it was really overdue!! I think I will, but my leg still hurts a lot. So more than likely not anytime soon.

Cyanide and Mercury?

Oakpaw struggles through is training, he knows something is wrong but he can’t find it out at first. When the medicine cat notices his bloating they call him in for examination. When its confirmed he’s expecting he knows who the father is but won’t tell. He begs the leader to let him finish his training first. Eventually the leader agrees and after his vigil he goes to the nursery. He lives in fear of stepping out of the nursery because he knows Canaryfeather is always out there waiting. Whenever he does go out Canaryfeather whispers to him, mocking him. One day Canaryfeather gets Oakflight along and begins to whisper about how if Mercury even tells a soul he’ll tear the kits directly out of Oakflight’s womb and kill them. He tells Oakflight so many sick ideas he gets about drowning them, choking them, hurting Oakflight. Oakflight goes into labor later that day from stress. He has Dipperkit, Daisykit, Tansykit, and Ivykit. Oakflight eventually loses faith in the clan and gets a rouge to help him take the kits away. Canaryfeather hunts them down and traps them in a barn. He tortures them until dawn and leaves. Oakflight gathers his injuried kits and continues painfully onward. When they reach city limits he changes their names to Oak, Dipper, Daisy, Tansy, and Ivy. Oak finds out he’s pregnant again soon and is taken in by a friendly stray cat who helps him and his hurt children. They live together under an attic used for storage. Oak births three more kittens. He names them Dragonfly, Westaria, and Meadow. The stray stays with him for as long as they live and helps him raise his family. Dipper later changes him name to Flutter. Daisy changes his name to Rooted. Tansy sometimes goes by Tanner. Ivy changes her full name into The Lady Ivy Claws. Dragonfly keeps his name. Westaria’s full name is Westeria Revolution. and Meadow becomes Meadow’s Mouth. But Oak calls her Meddy sometimes.

Ok so here’s a batch of OC’s! Info about them is under the cut

Falconstar and Poppypaw: Falconstar was the leader of Windclan before Shalestar, and Poppypaw was his apprentice. He’s Gorsepelt and Heathernose’s dad and Shalestar’s cousin. Poppypaw is Dippertail’s sister. Both were murdered only a few days before Teasel comes to Windclan, throwing it into turmoil. It’s all very mysterious and nobody has any idea who could’ve done it. Lots of suspicion was aimed at Shalestar tho, since she had only recently been appointed deputy.

Shalestar, Stagstep, and Kestrelcall: These three are super BFFs. They were the only survivors of their respective litters and became super close as a result since they were all born within a moon of each other. Shalestar (who at the time was Shalewing) was made deputy a month before Falconstar was murdered. The previous deputy was Eaglefeather, Falconstar’s brother, who was killed by a fox. The leadership of Windclan at this time was kept within a single family; as a result, after Eaglefeather was killed Shalewing, as Falconstar’s last living relative qualified for the position, was made deputy. She also caught a lot of flack for this, since she was young, relatively untested, and also had five moon old kits to take care of. Stagstep is a respected warrior and Shalestar’s mate; he balances out her somewhat wild and flirtatious personality by being really chill. He helps manage tensions in the clan and tries to help solidify his mate’s new position. Kestrelcall is the medicine cat and was such a goody two shoes that no one expected him to screw up as badly as he did. When out collecting herbs near the edge of the territory, he met a loner named Rose and fell in love with her. He figured since she was a loner with no desire to join the Clan that no one would find out. That ended up not working out when Rose died while kitting, forcing him to bring his two children back to the clan. Dipperkit and Poppykit were given to Shalewing, who had just had her litter as well. He would have been exiled if not for the fact he was the only medicine cat, and with none of the apprentices showing interest, he was allowed to stay. He was rejected by a lot of the clan though and still struggles with it now.

Silverfang and Cinderfall: Shalestar and Stagstep’s kits. Their social status skyrocketed after their mother was made deputy and then leader, and they have the dubious respect of their clanmates as a result. Silverfang deals with this by acting out and pushing herself as hard as she can. She feels like she has to really prove that she can be a great and well-respected warrior through her own deeds, not because her mother is the leader. Cinderfall takes after his dad in that he’s very quiet, but it’s a more dignified kind as compared to the laid back attitude his dad has. He’s a cat of few words until you get to know him; once he feels really comfortable he’s very sharp-tongued and is fond of making jokes. Since they were raised with Dipper and Poppy they were very close, although things fell apart when Poppypaw was killed. They’re both apprentices when Teasel comes to the clan.

Palesky and Littlestream: Palesky is Shalestar’s older cousin, on the other side of her family from Falconstar, and is the new deputy under Shalestar. He’s the stereotypical fun uncle type, complete with bad jokes and letting the apprentices get away with murder. He absolutely adores Littlestream, and they were partners in crime from the time they were kits. He was the only kit in his litter, and she was often overlooked by her siblings since she was so much smaller and usually sick as a kit. They got their injuries their first day as warriors, trying to lead a dog away from the camp. It was a fairly small dog but they still got their asses kicked, much to their chagrin. Littlestream had just entered the nursery when Teasel joins the clan.

Teaseltuft and Dippertail: Teaseltuft was originally just Teasel, and was born to a loner who lived on the farm where Barley will eventually live. When she was five moons her mother was caught by the twolegs who owned the farm and taken away, leaving her to her own devices. She was found two moons later by Kestrelcall and the newly named Shalestar on their way back from the Moonstone. She was starving and close to death, so they took pity on her and brought her back to camp. They were also under the impression that she was a few moons younger than she actually was since she is pretty small compared to the tall and lanky Windclan cats. After she recovers a bit she’s made an apprentice, and thrown in with the moody and grieving Dipperpaw, Silverpaw, and Cinderpaw. She makes a connection with Dipper, and he sort of latches onto her as a pseudo replacement for Poppypaw. They become super close and in doing so become slightly more distanced from the other two. Cinderpaw is too shy to really talk to the new cat and Teaselpaw is under the impression that he doesn’t like her, and Silverpaw and Dipperpaw stick by their respective siblings. This whole thing is unfortunately exacerbated by Dipperpaw, who has a gigantic crush on Silverpaw and is too embarrassed to even look at her half the time. He’s on the bottom of the social latter within the clan since his dad is the medicine cat. At first, he had Poppypaw as an ally, but when she died he felt ostracized and alone. It didn’t help that the older warriors tried to keep Silverpaw and Cinderpaw away from him since the already decent sized social gap between them became that much wider. Since Teasel is oblivious to clan politics when she first arrives she is a source of unbiased friendship and affection, which are the two things he lost with Poppypaw. As Teasel spends more time in the Clan she sets out to discover what happened to Falconstar and Poppypaw, with Dipper along for the ride.

Kiteclaw, Heathernose, and Gorsepelt: All three of them would have been the first candidates considered for the leadership of Windclan, had they not been still an apprentice and newly minted warriors, respectively. Kiteclaw was Eaglefeather’s daughter and Heathernose and Gorsepelt were Falconstar’s. They have their own little clique and are itching for a way to prove themselves and honor their fathers’ legacy. While good at heart, when Teasel first comes to Windclan they’re a bunch of malcontents, struggling with the losses they’ve been hit with in such a short time. Gorsepelt tends to be disrespectful towards Shalestar, although Kiteclaw tries to defend her former mentor as much as she can. Heathernose is the mediator between the two and is in charge of damage control when they inevitably get into trouble for something stupid.
