Hi, I'm still new to your farmers, so I hope I got them right!! ^^'
For Mel!:
(😐) anyone they tend to avoid, but are generally still nice to? (💍) if they get married, who do they marry? why? (🫣) is there a person they’re too shy to talk to, but really want to? (🌶️) how do they feel about becoming a farmer?
For Syndey!:
(🌈) how do they react when they find their first prismatic shard? what do they do with it? (🦜) does your farmer befriend Leo? what do they think of him? (🍻) does your farmer hangout at the saloon? who do they usually go with? (🌟) what is their reaction when they get their first stardrop?
For Adeline!:
(🌎) how does your farmer's first year in the valley go? (🍙) what is their favorite food? (🤢) how do they react when they're given one of their hated gifts? what do they do with it? (🎉) what is your farmer's favorite festival?
For Fawn!:
(🌶️) how do they feel about becoming a farmer? (☀️) do they adjust to living in the valley easily? (🗡️) does your farmer like adventuring in the mines? (💙) do they have any blue chickens?
I hope I got everyone's names right! 💖 Sorry if it's a lot! I find these questions addicting to ask, hahaha 😅🙏🏻 Anyways, do take your time!! 💜
Hi! Yes, you got them right! I really like these asks for them! Thank you!!!
Mel
(😐) anyone they tend to avoid, but are generally still nice to?
I was going to say Shane at first, but then I realised she's not exactly "nice" to him back. They sort of just...Glare at each other. So, I'll say Sebastian. She doesn't hate him or anything, but he was a bit rude to her when they met, and she doesn't want Sydney picking up any of his...Habits (*cough* "vase" *cough*).
(💍) if they get married, who do they marry? why?
I can't decide if I want Mel to marry anyone yet. She is a BBB (Buff Bisexual Babe), but I don't know who she would date/marry. Not Shane; they're just friends for sure. Maybe Elliott or Maru? I'm not sure. Maybe she doesn't even want to date anyone yet--probably.
(🫣) is there a person they’re too shy to talk to, but really want to?
Mel's not really shy, per se; just introverted and reserved. But if I had to pick, I'd pick Elliott. At first she doesn't really know how to deal with his extravagant and flowery poetic language and mannerisms, so she sort of just avoids him. It's Adeline who is talking to him who mentions that Mel also used to be a big fan of poetry, and Elliott approaches her after that. It's a little awkward, but they soon become friends.
(🌶️) how do they feel about becoming a farmer?
Mel wasn't really looking forward to it. She only did it out of necessity. She's buff, sure, but she also enjoys fine clothes and a bit of wine every now and then, so having to get into some overalls wasn't something she was looking forward to. She's also got a bit of a bad back from her posture sitting at a desk all day during work, so that kind of sucks too with all the heavy lifting.
Still, she gets used to it. She likes the fact that she finally gets to own her own home, let alone a property. Doesn't it just feel great to finally be able to nail things into the walls? And she likes the fresh air every morning and lack of a schedule she hates. She still likes schedules, but this time she gets to pick her own!
Sydney
(🌈) how do they react when they find their first prismatic shard? what do they do with it?
Sydney goes even more wild than Fawn. She probably does get injured because she was too focused on the gem. Once she gets to Harvey's for a check-up she shows it off to him. He's proud of her, but also gives her a stern talking to about paying more attention to her surroundings.
She asks him for advice on what to do with it, and he suggests not selling it until she gets another one. Still, she doesn't know what to do with it so she gives it to Gunther and has him add a note that says "found by Syd" on the description.
(🦜) does your farmer befriend Leo? what do they think of him?
Sydney's approach to befriending kids is to be "hip" and "cool" as much as she can. She does get a bit of cringing from the tweens and teens--after all, she can't keep up with every new trend like she used to, but she does well. She gets along with Leo pretty well, talking to him and taking a genuine interest in him and his life. They play around on the island sometimes and have a good time, whether it be collecting golden walnuts or just making pictures in the sand with sticks.
(🍻) does your farmer hangout at the saloon? who do they usually go with?
Sydney isn't "allowed" to drink (i.e., Mel doesn't want her getting wasted), but she does still go to the saloon on Friday nights and rainy nights. Those are the days she gets to see her friends, after all! Expect Syd to come in during a heavily rainy day completely soaked but still grinning like an idiot. She probably ran there from the mines so she could show off her latest achievement. I half imagine her shaking the water off like a dog LMAO.
She usually hangs out with Sam, Abigail, Sebastian, and Harvey, though she'll probably talk to anyone. If her sisters are there she'll talk to them too.
(🌟) what is their reaction when they get their first stardrop?
The first Stardrop the group gets is a group effort; it's at the Stardew Valley Fair. Mel buys the Stardrop using their combined points, but they split it evenly between them (or, as evenly as they can for a five-pointed fruit among three people; in the end Sydney and Mel get more than Adeline).
As for Syd's reaction, she--like most people--can't describe it. She's never been good with words, but it's literally indescribable for her. It tastes like a vibe, if that makes sense. And the vibe is excitement. Like the thrill of the adventure, or going on a roller coaster! Just something super fun that gets the adrenaline going!
Adeline
(🌎) how does your farmer's first year in the valley go?
I have a rough plan for up until the Dance of the Moonlight Jellies, but so far it starts in 1996. The first person Adeline "befriends" is Haley, who actually gives a decent compliment on her looks. Then she befriends Evelyn, and Alex through her. She befriends Emily during the Egg Festival followed by introducing Elliott to Mel and helping with Elliott's spider problem.
While visiting Joja for sunflower seeds, she's encouraged to get a Joja membership by Morris. There's a Junimo sighting and then that's all I've got, haha. There's some more here and there but I don't want to spoil in case I ever show off my writing publicly!
(🍙) what is their favorite food?
She's a big fan of Idli. She likes savory foods and also enjoys mixing them with other dishes and spices for extra flavour! It's also a great tie to her heritage; something she doesn't know much about. She was passed around from foster parent to foster parent since she was a baby until she was adopted by the Matthews. So, she likes knowing the food she eats is a tie to where she's from.
(🤢) how do they react when they're given one of their hated gifts? what do they do with it?
She may be young, but she's already perfected her customer service smile. Her first reaction might show a bit of hesitance and displeasure, but she quickly covers it up and takes the gift. That is, if it's an actual gift, of course. If someone were to just give her broken glasses from the river she would not be happy about it. She's visibly be annoyed and will ask why you gave her this. You could cover it up by saying it's for the recycling machine, to which she'd lighten up a little, but still be awkward.
(🎉) what is your farmer's favorite festival?
Her favourite festival is the Flower Dance. Adeline loves pretty, preppy, modern dresses, and that festival is just the perfect excuse to go all out! Usually, she'd settle for pink, but white is often something she'll combine with that when she's not doing farm work. Her and Haley or Alex dance and have a merry time.
Fawn
(🌶️) how do they feel about becoming a farmer?
Fawn was so tried of her old life, so she was excited to start a new one! However, she sorely underestimated how much work it would take. She's pretty weak for a farmer, so once she can pay people back she enlists the help of Alex and Elliott to help with the heavy lifting and help her train. She likes watching her work flourish though; it's very rewarding!
(☀️) do they adjust to living in the valley easily?
I'd say she does, yeah. It's not perfect by any means, but they are able to easily manage the move and whatnot. The farm work is the hardest, but once they start making friends it all becomes easier. And the money helps, too.
(🗡️) does your farmer like adventuring in the mines?
She prefers the mining over the combat. Once she reached level ten she found it to be really pretty with all it's leaves and whatnot, but soon was screaming once the bugs started flying. She definitely needed to get patched up after that one. Marlon probably heard her from up the top from how loud she was LOL.
(💙) do they have any blue chickens?
Yes! They have a blue chicken called Berry! She was hatched blue from a not blue, very aggressive hen called Nenny. Berry is blue because once when Shane was helping out on the farm he fed Nenny some Joja Cola. I mean, he did it with his own chickens and they were fine, so he assumed it couldn't hurt. Imagine his surprise when Fawn announced the news! He felt bad, but Fawn checked the chick with Marnie and found no health problems, so they forgave him.

Hi there! I hope it's not so annoying to bother your inbox for this, but I wanted to say thanks for the nice comment on my most recent post you reblogged earlier ^^ I haven't been feeling happy with my art here lately, so reading that makes me want to go back into drawing and think positive again <3
Thank you so much for that! 😊 I hope you'll have a good day!! ✨️
Also, your Sebastian art is adorable!! ^^
I was considering letting this sit in my inbox and never touching it because it's really nice to look at when I'm bogged down by life and writer's block, but I changed my mind. You deserve a response at least, so:
You are not annoying or bothersome, your art is very cute, and I have gone back to admire it frequently. But I understand the insecurity. I get that way with most of the things I create, and it's always nice to see someone else showing appreciation for something we artists might not be terribly proud of ourselves. I hope you draw again, and have fun doing it. I'll look forward to seeing anything you make—even if it isn't SDV.
Also, I'm genuinely honored that you like the art I did of Seb,,, out of all of the bachelors I've drawn so far, I feel the least confident in him, but knowing that just one person thinks he's cute is a huge confidence boost. Have a wonderful day, night, week, month—all of the above? Yeah, all of the above. You're kind and you deserve good things. Thank you! (っ◔◡◔)っ❤

@girls4zelda's Nina. Made her fluffy. Tried my best to mimic her hair in a good pony-ish way
@studentinpursuitofclouds's Julian. For some reason my hand would only draw him small. Guess he's a little pony. *badumtss*
@nimillaarts' Aelfdene, complete with hat. Once again did my best to mimic his hair.
And a bonus Olivia I doodled on the back of a receipt at work.

Golden pumpkins hunt
A short and little crappy story about our farmers and the madness during the maze on Spirits Eve.
Farmer OCs in this story: May (@poxy-domain), Zeke (@theambivalentagender), Rain (@silly-farmer), Wren (@girls4zelda), Bo (@boinurmom13), Miranda (@amishasp), Shiro (@shirokumav3), Myra (@seharuuchan), Marley (@mmarggsstuff), Willow (@vilochkaaa), Skylar (@justashamwithwastedpotential), Thad (@reallyghostlypost), Lucy (@doggoneaway), Bella (@ivquatro), Eris (@lavendel081), Elisa (@elisa6102), Hestia (@g0atmama), Fawn (@fawn-wickenshire), Josephine (@jazhand), Ziana (@nimillaarts) and Julian (my OC).
_________________________________________
"Aunt Marnie! I'm not little anymore, why can't I go into the maze...". Julian turned to Jaz, who had been begging her aunt for about ten minutes to let her enter the scary maze this year, but Marnie was still hesitant. No sooner had Julian greeted the two of them and congratulated them on Spirit's Eve than Bo pulled him back to the maze entrance.
"You'll see, dude, we're definitely going to win this Magnus puzzle! Especially since this year's prize is not one, but three whole golden pumpkins!", Bo enthusiastically tugged on his friend's sleeve, unable to contain his anticipation before the treasure hunt. "We'll divide the spoils, naturally: both get a pumpkin each, and the third... well, we'll figure something out!"
The two young men stopped near two artisanal arches.
"It's showtime, baby! Ok, I'll go left, and you go right then. Good luck, bro." With a Hollywood smile on his face, Bo clapped Julian on the shoulder, and disappeared into the semi-darkness of the maze.
The young man with multicolored eyes sighed a little tiredly: he wasn't opposed to the most exciting adventure to find the golden pumpkin, but before entering the maze, Julian wanted some snacks from the communal food table. The poor lad hadn't had time to eat before the feast, and the smell of spices made his stomach rumble and mind go crazy. But Julian decided he would help Bo win the contest first, because after all, three pumpkins was a very generous reward.
Without wasting any more precious time, Julian finally entered the maze. The tangled paths, the cold, penetrating wind, the dense dark vegetation on either side, the atmosphere and frightening scenery, the shrieks of familiar voices, the laughter and the rush - enthralled by the spirit of the feast, Julian even forgot about hunger for a while.
Continuing to walk further and further down the labyrinth, Julian didn't immediately realize how he found himself in a place separate from the main maze. There was a circle where Magnus Rasmodius himself was sitting cross-legged, and next to the wizard were Julian's friends and colleagues in farming - Eris and Bella were sitting on soft pouffes, holding cups with hot drinks in their hands, and Elisa was eating delicious white chocolate-covered strawberries. The treats were made with scary but still cute faces of all sorts of ghosts and monsters.
"Hey, Julian! Happy Spirit's Eve!", with her mouth slightly full, Elisa congratulated the young man. Bella and Eris also nodded to Julian sincerely happy meeting their friend.
"Greetings, young adept. Enjoying the festivities?", Magnus ducked one eye open, not taking a break from his meditation. Julian sensed a large concentration of magic in this place - apparently to maintain the summoned maze.
"Would you like to join us? We still have some strawberries and hot tea left." Bella moved a loose cushion closer and a plate of strawberries, which Elisa looked at very intently. Oh, how Julian wanted to stay here and have a snack!
But he made a promise to Bo...
"Thanks for the offer, but another time. I still want to win the competition."
"Good luck to you, then." Eris smiled sincerely at the young man, and happily took a sip of hot tea.
"Watch out, young fool. The treasure is guarded by fearsome monsters, it won't be easy to get it..." Magnus was pleased with his own cryptic and creepy speech, and hummed quietly, returning to his meditation. After saying goodbye to everyone, Julian rolled his eyes.
"Scary monsters, yeah... They're all fake for sure!" With that thought, the young man went back to searching for the right path to the treasure.
Walking past the plastic spiders (where Thad was able to hide and scare Julian enough to make the poor guy jump a little), he stopped near a huge cauldron where a green liquid of unknown origin was bubbling. Penny, Ziana, Shiro, and Myra stared at the bottom of the cauldron, mesmerized.
"Mr. Julian..." Ziana said in a slightly monotone somehow. "This cauldron... It smells so good, it makes my head spinning and dizzy." The other girls only nodded slowly to confirm her words.
The boiling water smelled like cotton candy, and Julian's hungry stomach twisted itself into a knot. Ugh, no, he need to move on! Overcoming the urge to stay near the cauldron, the young farmer returned to his original mission, intending to turn left.
"Nope, it's a dead end." Skylar walked out of the darkness a little tiredly with Sam. "Honey, maybe we can go back to the common table?"
"Oh, absolutely!" Sam was delighted, "Besides, the straw in my suit makes me itchy... like, everywhere."
Oh well, Julian thought, the search continues.
"Hmm, maybe I should turn into a dragon? Then I’ll definitely find the treasure..." Hestia stood thoughtfully near the fake tombstones.
"Don't cheat!", Julian said a little provocatively from behind, which slightly frightened the girl. Hestia herself was not in debt, and stuck her tongue out at Julian, disappearing into the darkness of the labyrinth. Giggling, the young man walked on.
Yoba, the labyrinth seemed endless to him, and his stomach is already begged for some food...
"You decided to take part in the treasure hunt too?" Julian didn't notice Rain standing in front of him. He nodded to her in agreement. "And you?" Julian asked.
"Eh, I'm just hanging out here. I like this creepy atmosphere, it gives me goosebumps." Rain smiled, pointing her hand at Fawn and Josephine standing nearby. "Besides, I decided to accompany my friends in case we accidentally stumble upon monsters." She patted the hilt of her sword that was strapped to her hip.
"Huh? But the monsters in the maze aren't real." Julian was surprised.
"How are you so sure?", having asked a rhetorical question, Rain said goodbye to her friend and returned to the girls, who were still looking at the house with chicken legs with delight and curiosity.
Her words made Julian's hand tighten his grip on the hilt of the dagger, which he had taken purely to decorate his suit... "Magnus wouldn't put people's lives in danger. Right?..." Now walking more carefully and listening to every sound, Julian I was able to go through half the maze already.
After about two minutes, the poor guy was scared again when Miranda's figure suddenly appeared from the bushes. The girl’s face was distorted with anger, and she confidently walked past Julian towards the exit, despite the thorny bushes.
"Today there will be one less stupid adventurer in the world," Marley said to Julian with a malicious smile when she saw his downcast face. "You’re on the right track, brother. The treasure is out there somewhere. I think"
"Aren't you going to look for pumpkins?", still in a slight shock, Julian asked hesitantly.
"And miss such a show?" Smiling even wider, Marley hurried after her friend. Julian prayed for the soul of that unfortunate adventurer who became the cause of Miranda's righteous anger. Deciding to find out about this story later, he headed in the direction from which both girls had emerged.
With every step he took, his hope of winning faded, and the thought of returning to other friends at a common table beckoned him more and more.
“Yep, I told you it was fake,” Zeke stopped looking at the plastic chest and just quietly snorted at Shane’s comment. "Oh, another competitor." Shane just smiled faintly, and Zeke waved to Julian in greeting. "Zek, maybe, to hell with these pumpkins? I’m already hungry." Oh, how hungry Julian is - you can’t imagine, Shane!
"Alright alright, let's go for the snacks. I hope there’s some honey bun left in there!' Taking Shane by the hand, Zeke led him towards the exit.
Mmmm, honey buns... Julian can already feel the sweetness melting in his mouth and...
"Oh man, there you are!" Poor Julian might have a heart attack at this rate, and he's too young to die! Ah, it's just Bo.
"We are already close, I can already feel the taste of victory!" Taking Julian again by the sleeve of his leather jacket, the two farmers headed along the only road that would definitely lead them to the desired chest.
"So, now we have to go here and-" Bo didn’t have time to finish when suddenly, before his and Julian’s eyes, the figure of their mutual friend, Wren, appeared.
"Agh, damn, I knew I should have teleport a little further!" Stomping her foot angrily, the red-haired girl, however, immediately turned pale when she saw Julian and Bo, and giggled slightly nervously.
"What the tutty frutty fuck is going on here?" Confused, Bo blinked a couple of times and immediately answered his own question: "Cheater!"
Wren only smiled even stronger and ran away in the opposite direction from the treasure.
"Hey, come back!" Bo rushed off after the girl, leaving Julian alone. Alright.
It became darker and darker, the cold autumn wind did not spare anyone who was now outside, and the stomach began to growl again. So having decided to finally reach the end, the young man already prayed that this would be the end of the hunt for golden pumpkins. He's so tired and so, oh so hungry...
And it seems that this time - finally - Yoba heard the prayers of one of the chaotic farmers in the Stardew Valley.
A large, decorated wooden chest - after so many puzzles and endless dead ends - Julian finally found the treasure. He had already stretched out his hands to touch the lid of the chest and rightfully take the prize, when a human figure again appeared out of nowhere in front of him.
But this time it was May.
The girl smiled to the fact that she had teleported directly to the target, but her smile immediately faded when she realized that she had been caught. Oopsie....
The two farmers looked into each other's eyes for half a minute, not daring to do anything.
"Apple cinnamon pie in exchange for your silence," May finally decided to interrupt this staring contest. Julian's eyes widened.
"Deal", Oh boy, you didn't need to say twice. After shaking her hand and receiving from his friend a plate with a still warm pie (where she even get this pie?), May took her prize from the chest and disappear once again.
With the satisfied smile of the happiest man in the entire Valley, Julian began to leave the maze, still holding the plate of pie in his hands.
"Well, did you get your prize?" Willow laughed good-naturedly, standing with Lucy near the exit from the maze. Julian just nods, and Lucy noted to herself how little a person needs to be happy.

Hi, Mousy! 👋🏻 I hope you've been doing well! ✨ I don't know if these are worth of ideas but I'll leave that to you! It's about the short stories that you wanted ideas from. I pondered the whole day... Here's one of them 😆
So, firstly, I had an idea about your farmer, Julian and my farmer, Ziana. It's based on that one Joja situation with Shane your friend talked to you about, if you remember, hehe (the blue chickens). I would imagine Julian and Ziana were just finished with some farmwork and are resting together (feel free to add more of others' farmers, if you like!) munching some cookies or whatever you can think of (like a picnic maybe?) Ziana has the habit (like me, LOL) who kind of just having random thoughts and questions out of randomness.
So, while they're munching some cookies, Ziana suddenly thinks about Shane's chickens being blue and can't help but think to herself while she's munching on a cookie, finding the thought weird at first. But then she remembered that one time they helped Shane with his Ad video for Joja (you know that cutscene with Emily and Clint as well? Imagine Julian also helping too!) She recalls that Clint turned blue after drinking the Joja Cola. Then Shane also worked with Joja, so...
Everything is a coincidence but it feels right for her conclusion so she just had to ask Julian about this thought... (assuming she's already comfortable with Julian since she tends to ask random questions to those she's comfortable with 😁 The result of doing so is mostly a flick on the forehead from others. Mostly from Isaac 🤣)
How will Julian react upon hearing Ziana's random question? 🤔
It's a funny idea, haha 🤣🤣 For me, at least 😅
I hope this is okay and understandable 😅🙏🏻 My English has worsened lately 🥲
Heeey! Thanks so much for the question! I just got the inspiration for this scenario (the story turned out longer than I thought it would 😅). Hope you like it ❤️
In this story, the main characters are OCs Farmers - Julian (my OC), Ziana (@nimillaarts), Bo (@boinurmom13), and Bella (@ivquatro). Enjoy!
_________________________________________
"The blue chicken theory"
_________________________________________
Many will agree that the middle of spring is the ideal time for a picnic in nature, when the forest has already woken up from its long winter hibernation, and the ground is covered with whole fields of pleasant-smelling flowers; when your skin is blown by a not too cool breeze, and the food is not atacted by pesky midges, which are usually found in summer.
The farmers of the Stardew Valley thought a spring picnic would be a great excuse to get together and relax after the hard work in the fields. Ziana and Julian sat on the edge of a picnic rug on the grass near Marnie's ranch, Bella beside them opening a bottle of homemade juice (everyone had decided to avoid alcohol for this picnic). Bo, having finished helping his friends with the dishes and food, decided to head to the lake with a fishing rod, trying his luck and practising fishing, which, by the way, he hated with all his heart. But, unfortunately to him, fishing is necessary to make some good cash, so Bo trying to learn while he could, and also try not to gag because of the fishy stench.
Bella finally sat down on the rug with the others, pouring apricot juice into her and others mugs.
"Mmm, the cookies is really good!", Ziana was munching contentedly on the four mint cookies Bella had baked just in time for the picnic. Making healthy oatmeal cookies, and at the same time so tasty, is not an easy task, but the red-haired farmer succeed in cooking.
"I can say the same about your homemade juice. I love apricots". Putting the large glass bottle of juice in a basket so the sun wouldn't heat up the drink, Bella took the cranberry rakhat lukum Julian had made from the pretty little plate. Taking a half bite of the sweetness, she hummed a little with pleasure as she chewed the lukum slowly. Julian didn't need any verbal encouragement, as his friend's reaction to the lukum he'd made spoke for itself, so Julian just smiled broadly and began to quench his thirst with apricot juice.
"Hopefully Bo will be back in time from fishing, or his juice will get hot in the sun quickly", Julian said and grabbed from the basket a small avocado and tomato sandwich that Bo had made. The funny thing was that he was the only one who brought salty snacks to the picnic, thinking that "after the sweet stuff, one would immediately crave salty stuff". And he was absolutely right.
While the three farmers were sitting on the picnic rug, chatting and eating tasty snacks, waiting for the fourth farmer to come back from fishing, Jas came back from Pelican Town and excitedly told her uncle, Shane, about something. Behind them, clucking, come three chickens - Charlie, Shane's favorite, and two more, motley, with beautiful blue feathers. When the girl spotted the farmers near her aunt's ranch, she waved her hand in greeting. Shane also raised his hand and smiled weakly - his smile grew a little bigger when Julian, Ziana, and Bella waved back at him and Jas.
"What a beautiful hens! Hehe, so cute!" Ziana gasp, she couldn't take her eyes off the beautiful feathers of chickens.
"Right? So adorable. I even managed to buy two blue chickens from Marnie", Julian was also looking at the chickens, which were noisily stomping around Shane and Jas's feet, begging for attention and pets while Shane tried to open the front door with his key.
"This chickens looks well-fed, and very happy. Still don't understand why Shane still speak about himself so poorly..." Bella recalls with a slightly sad smile a conversation with a pizza and beer lover who was always calling himself worthless in everything he touched. The situation was even worse when Bo told her that he and Julian had found Shane lying near a rock in the rain with a bunch of beer cans. Good thing they'd gotten him to Dr. Harvey in time.
Ziana turned to Bella, looking at her worriedly, and then looked at the ladybug on the rug; she knew about situation with Shane, and the fact that the story had almost ended in tragedy... Even though chicken man often spat caustic phrases and demands for the farmers to leave him alone, Ziana knew that if she got to know him better, and that he actually is a wonderful and interesting friend. She's glad the other farmers gave Shane a chance (although Shane and Bo still exchange sarcasm, and sometimes, when the kids aren't around, heavy swear words).
Julian caught the tone with which Bella said the last sentence and sighed, remembering the feeling of anxiety that they wouldn't get Shane to the clinic in time.
"It's a good thing it all worked out. He said he'd been talking to a therapist for a while now and had even kicked the alcohol habit", Julian set himself up for more positive thoughts, Bella and Ziana nodded in agreement.
"Mr. Shane looked much happier". Ziana smiled softly, still looking at the ladybug and making sure none of her friends inadvertently squashed the little insect. Wanting to change the subject to something more cheerful, Ziana remembered the blue chickens. "How do you think Mr. Shane made his chickens' feathers blue?"
Ziana's question made the other two farmers think for a few moments.
"Well, I don't think he dyes his feathers, the chicks are already born with blue coloring", Julian nodded in confirmation of Bella's words, "So maybe..."
"Goddamn piece of garbage! I hate this fucking fishing! Stupid fish, fucking rod! Bitch ass fucking bullshit!" Before poor Bella could say anything further, all the farmers on the rug were startled by the harsh and loud profanity of Bo, who, stomping loudly and kicking some kind of iron can under his feet, was walking towards his friends. Shane and Jas were also taken aback by the loud noises, but Shane's expression immediately changed from shock to annoyance. He quickly handled the keyhole and led Jas home, covering her ears with his hands just in case so she wouldn't hear any new "unnecessary" words. The chickens quickly followed their owners and the front door to the ranch slammed shut.
Finally, the white-haired "fisherman" reached his friends: his face was still contorted with anger, but he tried to hide it.
"Mr. Bo, what's wrong?", Ziana set the plate of cookies aside so her friend could take off his shoes and sit down next to her on the picnic rug.
Bo sighed tiredly and rubbed his temples with his fingers, trying to settle his headache and calm down.
"Let's just say the fishing hadn't gone well."
He reached for the net he'd thrown on the grass nearby and showed the three farmers his catch. Well, if you could call it a catch: in the net, from which fresh water dripped to the ground, were several empty Joja cola cans, broken disks (also from Joja.co), and slippery green algae hanging from the same net. That can, by the way, that he was kicking, was also his "catch" - an empty iron with the logo of that "beloved corporation", but he didn't put it in the net with the rest of the catch, deciding to take out all his anger on the unfortunate can.
"But why do you need fish? We have plenty of picnic food", Ziana asked again.
"Wha..?" Bo murmur quietly. "Oh, no, I wasn't catching fish to eat, was planning to release fish anyway. I just need experience, like, fishing knowledge, you know? And what kind of experience can I have if I catch shi- uh, I mean garbage, instead of fish?" Bo looked into Ziana's amber eyes and quickly corrected himself. He thinks he's used his entire limit of bad words for the day, especially since he'd hate to vent so much negativity on his friends.
Finally, Bo sat down cross-legged, picked up a plate of loukum and ate his sadness, showing to this world how grumpy and angry he was, cursing quietly the fish, the Joja co. trash, and the day the old fisherman had handed him that damned bamboo rod. Julian and Bella began to take turns comforting him with food and words, agreeing with his negative opinion about the greedy monopoly corporation and their inexcusable attitude toward garbage disposal.
Ziana's attention was suddenly drawn to the cola cans in the net, she stared at them intently for half a minute. After a moment, a question suddenly dawned on her.
"Uh, Mr. Julian? Remember when we helped Shane with his Joja cola commercial project with Clint and Emily?" Julian stopped patting Bo's back in comfort, and looked at Ziana.
"Yeah, of course I remember. Clint had turned blue after drinking that nasty stuff.", Julian's face wrinkled a little at the mere recollection of this "miracle drink" with a lot of sugar, caffeine and Yoba's guess what else, since some people contacted the company with a complaint that their skin turned blue as blueberries. While the change in skin color can be blamed on Clint's worries about Emily, it can usually be a slightly bluish hue rather than a bright blue. Julian also can't forget Bo's light teasing that multicolored young man grumbles over Joja like an old fart. But he knows that Bo wouldn't even want his worst enemy to take a sip of that crap, let alone drink it himself voluntarily.
"I remember by the end of the commercial, Clint was turning blue from soda. I mean, a side effect of that cola is blue skin in some people", Ziana scratched her chin in thought. "And Mr. Shane", she continue, "also works at Joja and he too drinks this cola a lot. Doesn't that mean he pours the soda into the chickens feed to turn their feathers blue?" Ziana finally spoke the question, waiting to see what her friends would say.
Bo snorted and wanted to open his mouth, reply that it was an absurd idea, but he immediately closed his mouth again and his eyes widened at the realization that this theory had a right to exist.
"No. Freaking. Way.", Bo said.
Bella and Julian followed Bo's example: the red-haired girl almost choked on the apple slice she was chewing, and Julian's face expressed the emotion of a man who had just realized that his life was a lie and shambles.
"Huh, it actually makes sense..."
"Don't." Julian replied to Bella, raising his hand in protest. His throat was sharply dry. "I refuse to believe it."
"But man, think about it!" Bo had completely forgotten about his anger over his recent bad fishing trip and was fully immersed in the discussion.
"Shane would never do that to his chickens!" Julian protested.
"But maybe..." Ziana began cautiously, but Julian interrupted her.
"It can't be", the yellow-haired young man replied a little softer to Ziana.
While Bo, Julian and Ziana argued for a minute about the chickens feather theory, Bella pulled back from her shock and said: "Why don't we ask Shane himself?"
The three wranglers looked at Bella, and then all four of them looked directly at the front door of the ranch where they had seen Shane today with Jas.
Bo smiled predatorily. "Time to terrorize people."
"Let's do it better tomorrow, after lunch. We'll rest today." Julian decided to leave the feather coloring debate for tomorrow, returning to the snacks and juice, and his friends decided to follow his example.

"Fox Masks"
A short story of how Julian and Ziana (@nimillaarts farmer) went looking for Foxbloom and accidentally stumbled upon someone they didn't expect to see at such a late hour.
_________________________________________
"AAAAAAAAAA!"
Ridgeside Village residents had never heard such a heartbreaking scream, and it was coming from the Ridge entrance. Locals and holidaymakers immediately ran to the windows if the Log Cabin Hotel, trying to see in the darkness where the scream was coming from and what was happening. It was a late autumn evening, so it was impossible to see anything through the gloom. Richard stepped out onto the porch of his hotel, trying to find the noise that had so disturbed all his visitors. As the soul-piercing screams from the horror films grew louder and louder, Richard pointed his flashlight toward the path that led into the woods and could make out two silhouettes that grew clearer.
"¿Blair? ¡Mi hija!" Carmen, who was returning from a successful fishing trip from Stardew Valley and was just passing by the Log Cabin Hotel, couldn't help but recognise her own daughter's voice. Immediately throwing the fish and fishing rods on the ground, Carmen ran towards the shout with anxiety in her heart.
A startled Blair immediately fell into her mother's arms, breathing heavily and pale as a ghost. The second source of screaming like something out of a horror film was Sean, who immediately stopped beside Carmen and Blair, trying to catch his breath. Richard quickly walked over to the three of them and, seeing that Blair was too frightened to say anything, tried to ask a slightly less frightened Sean.
"What happened?" Richard pat the young man's back and handed him a small bottle of water to wet his throat. Another one from gave to Blair when the girl was also able to calm down a little and not have a dead grip on her mother's clothes.
"Blair and I were fishing near the lake, a little hungry, and decided to pick some blueberries from the bushes," Sean gratefully emptied the water bottle in one sitting, took a breath, and continued: "Blair walked a little further into the woods and saw a bush that was full of berries. We walked closer, and immediately two silhouettes emerged from behind the bushes. Scary-looking, wearing dark cloaks... So creepy."
"Faces... Faces like foxes. Like, scary masks," Finally poor Blair was able to raise her voice after draining the cool water bottle as quickly as Sean had.
"Faces? What fox faces, what are you talking about?" Carmen as well as Richard had no way of understanding the youngsters words, but no sooner had they asked more questions than Sean and Blair squeaked and bounced back sharply. Their heads were turned towards the path that led into the woods, and Carmen with Richard looked that way as well.
Two dark silhouettes in brown cloaks, each wearing a ragged fox mask. As if struck by lightning, and as the two strangers moved closer to the foursome, Carmen was the first to grab a dry branch and strike a fighting pose.
"Don't you try to come near my daughter or my friends, you..." Like an angry bear protecting her cubs, the fisherwoman growled at the strangers. The two silhouettes stopped abruptly and looked at each other. Their hands reached for their masks simultaneously and their faces could now be seen.
Concerned amber coloured eyes looked at Carmen worriedly and guiltily. Then the eyes of the second person that were the colour of two precious stones - the left one like aquamarine and the right one the colour of pure emerald - tried to meet Richard's eyes.
"We apologised for that, but Blair and Sean had run off so quickly, we hadn't even been able to say anything to them." Julian was thankful that Carmen did drop the branch from her hands when she saw who was under the masks.
"Please forgive us, we didn't mean to frighten you." Ziana's voice trembled slightly, a little ashamed that she and Julian had (though not on purpose) scared the hell out of their friends.
Blair and Sean looked at the two Stardew Valley farmers in utter shock, but at least it wasn't fear. Richard breathed a sigh of relief, but before he could say or ask anything, Carmen shouted towards Ziana and Julian.
"¡Ay ay ay! Why are you dressed up like in Spirit's Eve and walking through the woods at this late hour? You scared mi hija!" Carmen is understandable, because she was freaking out when she realised something bad had happened to Blair. But who feels sorry for the poor farmers who just went into the woods to look for a rare flower and didn't expect anyone else in the woods? It wasn't their fault that they had to wear those fox masks to find the flower...

"What's the matter, freak? Are you gonna run home and cry to your mommy?"
"Why are you looking at us like that? Go away, you psycho!"
"Hee-hee, Laura, look, that kid's got eyes like your cat. What a weirdo" "My cat at least has rabies shots, and for this one I don't know."
"Mr. Braflovski, I don't think you're very interested in your work. Did the people who recommended you as an exemplary future employee lie to us?"
"Hey, you, make me a coffee in five minutes. Move it! Or do you want to be fired in no time?"
"You're insulting Yoba with your mere existence. Get lost, you creature of darkness!"
"Come on, baby, you're the only one I love. It's gonna be like in the movie, love to the grave, marriage, really, really! Hee-hee..."
"Holy shit! Fuck! He... He broke my nose! Let's get out of here, he's crazy!"
"Nobody loves you. They hang out with you as long as you're useful. And now you're useless. Goodbye..."
"What does it matter if he's cute if he has that freaky eyes? Brrrr, it's creepy."
"What makes you think anyone loves you?"

"Heeey, it's our farmer! I wanted to give you something I hope you li- what? Julian?......"

Julian had to deal with his inner monsters for a long time to love himself. It was good that his parents were at least there for him and gave him love, care and support. Sometimes, though, some old wounds open up and ache.
But now, with his friends, family and spouse in the Valley, the pain is slowly going away.
