i read i think the first 1 or 2 volumes waaay back and didn't really remember anything specific, but did remember that it was very cute and wholesome. then when i heard about the anime announcement i was like WHAT wow good for them, then when i heard asnm had been cast i was like WHAT i must reread immediately

so i did i reread it just a short while back and ue ue ue soung of crying it was even cuter than i remembered, i loved it to bits, hikari is the cutest moe blob in the world

suffice it to say i was really looking forward to this one, and the first ep of the adaptation has not disappointed at all! i feel like it's an excellent adaptation so far, really looking forward to more. the casting is just ugh chef's kiss, perfect really. i had it in the back of my mind that matsuo was torichan so while i was doing my reread i could literally hear him and it is as perfect a fit as i'd expected lmao

I'm the same as you when it comes to Krist. I'm never gonna be a fan but I also won't automatically dismiss a show just because he's in it. (SOTUS was way before I entered the bl world so I never watched it or saw Krist in anything, BMF will be my first time seeing him in a role)

yeah for me it comes from the complete opposite: sotus was my first thai show ever & I owe a lot to it, bc if I didn't start it 6 years ago who knows where I would be, but I probably wouldn't be in thailand lol. I've also watched SO MANY shows with him (sotus, sotus s, our skyy, mint to be, good old days, I'm tee me too, who are you, one night steal, happy birthday, teenage mom, puppy honey 2...) at this point his presence doesn't phase me whatsoever & it's never gonna keep me from watching shows like the jungle & bmf who have my faves off & gawin. hell, I literally saw him live at lol fanfest and this mf made me cry over kristsingto ending even though I didn't give a fuck LMAO. I think it's totally okay to dislike him, and honestly I think that even if he wasn't homophobic I wouldn't like him bc he seems like a rachel berry, theater kid, must be the center of attention kinda guy & I cannot lmao :'))) bmf being the first role you'll see him in is gonna be WILD, idk if it's for the better or for worse, you'll let me know lol!

Apologies for the lack of activity this weekend too after an entire week of not being productive IC.
