I was worried when I knew Gun's character in Leap Day would be autistic I just feel actors always go for a very stereotypical portrayal even Chimon who I thought did a okay job in Homeschool lent more into the stereotypical portrayal of someone on the spectrum, Gun is a good actor so I think if he and the writing team do proper research I think he could do justice to the character.

agreed, every portrayal of autistic characters is always the same no matter the country, I really recommend rowan ellis' video on the topic! I have no doubt that gun would do a great job with some research & coaching from actual people on the spectrum, however I sadly don't think that it's what gmmtv have planned for this production. in the mock trailer it doesn't seem to be the case at all ☹️ I hope the finished show does a better job...
