Never a Burden
Neteyam x Reader Mate
Tumblr media
Summary: You don’t want to bother Neteyam with your issues but things keep getting worse with another clan member won’t leave you alone…
Warning: Mentions of injury, cursing.
***************************************************
“Don’t cause trouble” was a line Neteyam constantly said to his younger brother over the years, and now that mantle of troublemaker had been passed over to you, his mate.
Neteyam loved you more than life but by god you were a handful and then some. You were like a magnet for sticky situations and more often than not Neteyam had to come to your rescue.
Like the time some visiting Navi from a neighboring clan were bullying a harmless forest creature so you “intervened”. He yelled at you for being careless and putting yourself in danger.
Or the time your necklace flew off during a flying session so you promptly dived and searched the waters for hours until you found it. You came back soaked and shivering late into the night with the beads in your hand.
“What were you thinking!?” He scolded quickly wrapping you up in a warm blanket.
“B-b-but it’s the necklace you gifted me…” you chattered and he let out an exasperated sigh.
These situations were a frequent occurrence since he met you however he realized soon on that that was a package deal with being your mate. He’d take that deal any day.
Your husband had been endlessly busy on raids the past few months, only coming home to regroup and head back out. He was beyond exhausted most of the time, coming into your tent and falling asleep in your arms almost instantly
Usually Neteyam had patience and a level head but these past months proved to be a heavy challenge. Which made sense since so much was riding on his shoulders.
You felt bad for him which Is why you didn’t want to bother him with your troubles. Even if this situation wasn’t exactly your fault…
Recently a nearby clan had teamed up with yours to battle the sky people. This clan was different than yours, hard headed, brutal, our clans didn’t usually get along but they had a common enemy which made them a strong ally.
However some of the clans males had been targeting you. It started off small at first, taunts here and there. You weren’t a warrior which is why they criticized you as the oleyektens mate. But lately they’ve been getting more bold, one male in particular, Tu’Mey, their ring leader had been degrading you, commenting on your body and how neteyam must hate rutting with such a skinny female.
Today was when he finally crossed the line, you were gathering herbs in the forest with Kiri when she left early because of a headache.
You didn’t think anything of being alone until a familiar voice had you cursing.
“What are you doing out here all alone huh?” Tu’Mey emerged from behind a tree with a grin. He was alone which you didn’t know was better or worse.
“None of your business.” You snatched your basket up and threw him a glare as you went to move past him back to camp, you let out a little gasp when he grabbed your arm instead. That was the first time he had touched you.
“Let go of me!” You hissed and pulled but he didn’t relent.
“Heh so weak, what does a great warrior like your husband see in you huh?”
His grip was strong and you felt a moment of panic.
“Enough, let go asshole!” You punched at him with your other hand but it was like hitting a boulder. He easily grabbed your other hand and pulled you closer. Your eyes widened as he brought his face closer to yours.
“Hmm you may be no warrior, but you do have a pleasant enough face I suppose.”
“Let go before I-“
“Before you what? Hurt me?” He laughed and pulled your arms up high pulling you up right to his body.
You panicked a lot more now feeling his skin touching yours.
You start kicking at him and he clicks his tongue in annoyance, and backs you up into a tree roughly. The bark digging into your skin painfully.
“Oh I’m sorry did that hurt?” He asked mockingly.
“Go on cry for me little forest girl”
You refused to shed tears but you were definitely afraid.
Suddenly you heard a rustling up ahead followed by several Navi voices.
Tu’Mey pulled you deeper in the forest away from prying eyes, his mistake was leaving one hand open.
As he pulled you away you caught a glint of a knife at his waist, it was probably a bad idea but you didn’t really have a choice.
In moments you grabbed at the knife and swiped at the arm holding you.
You were successful but the moment Tu’Mey realized what you done his eyes were full of fury.
You turned to run but were abruptly yanked back by your braid.
“Oh now you wanna fight little girl? Cmon then let’s fight.” He used your hair to propel you forward roughly. You rolled several times before hitting a tree. You gasped in pain.
Suddenly he was above you again and you saw his leg go out and in straight to your stomach. You cried out in pain. Great mother help me.
He kicked the same place again and then roughly pulled you up by your arms.
You slumped in his hold but still managed a hiss. Not that it really did anything.
He opened his mouth to say something but the voices were nearing again. He cursed and threw you back down.
“This isn’t over”. And just as fast as he came he disappeared in the trees.
You coughed a couple times on the ground clutching your stomach. With much pain you stood up and limped into the trees away from the scene, you didn’t want anyone to see you and say anything to Neteyam.
The truth was most Navi could hold their own but you were different. You healed, not hurt, you didn’t even like to hunt because of your sweet nature. Neteyam was drawn to your heart he said, but your weakness was becoming an issue now that war had come. You didn’t realize just how useless you really were.
After much struggle you managed to sneak back into your tent unsuspected.
You collapsed on the ground next to your sleeping mat. The tears flowed freely now that you were alone. You missed Neteyam now more than ever, wanting nothing more than for him to hold you in his arms.
With tears still running down your face you moved your netted top out of the way to see the damage. A large nasty bruise had formed along with a couple cuts. Your back ached too so you could only imagine the scratches there as well.
Sniffling you applied some salve.
Good thing Neteyam wouldn’t be back for a few days, you didn’t know what you would do if he saw your state. He would probably kill him and start another war.
Little did you know the war party had returned while you were gone..
“Yawne? There you are, I didn’t see you when I landed.”
Your eyes widened hearing Neteyams voice and the familiar flapping of the tent beads.
Quickly you wiped at your eyes and slid the salve under the blanket.
“N-Neteyam, welcome back my love.” You thank Ewya that the tent is darkened by the night.
He rushes to you and you embrace him.
“I missed you so much, couldn’t wait to get back..” he held you tightly and you did your best not to wince.
“Me too..” you released from each other and he gave you a loving kiss.
“Come, change and I’ll prepare you something to eat.” He nodded and went to remove his armor. Luckily he hadn’t seemed to notice anything was off.
He ate and talked about the successful raid, you nodded along but your mind was on the blossoming pain all over your body but especially your stomach.
“Are you alright? You’ve hardly said a word..”
“Yes, just tired is all, I was collecting herbs and other things for most of the day.”
He nodded and smiled, “then come let us sleep, I am exhausted as well.”
You nodded and followed him to the mat. You grabbed a longer top and threw it on. Come morning, you would not be able to hide it in the light so you needed to cover up, at least until he left again for the next raid.
Sleep came easy for the both of you, despite your pain, being in Neteyams arms always lulled you quickly. You hoped the morning would go smoothly. Although you rarely ever got what you wanted these days..
***************************************************
“-at is this?” Mm your dreams were beginning to fade away at the familiar voice calling out to you and bringing you back to reality.
“Y/n!” Your eyes abruptly flicked open hearing Neteyams urgent voice.
Oh great mother help me..
Your gaze focused on Neteyam who was sitting up beside you with a hand on your waist and another pulling aside your netted top.
You were an idiot to think that flimsy material could hide anything.
“What is this, what happened??” He asked again voice full of concern and seriousness.
Your eyes followed down to wear a nasty bruise had doubled In its darkening since last night.
“I-I It’s nothing teyam, I fell from a tree in a bad way is all.. I didn’t realize it had caused such a bruise..” you sat up and tried to cover up again but he wouldn’t let you.
“This looks bad, what did you fall on?” He grimaced tracing the cuts with his fingers.
“Some large rocks..” you hoped he would buy that. You never really lied to him before, you hated the feeling..
He looked you over now from head to toe and caught sight of your back.
“Your back is scratched up too… come let’s see Grandmother-“
He moves to gently pull you but you refuse, “It’s fine my love, I can apply medicine here, your grandmother is no doubt busy with warriors from yesterday…”
He looked reluctant, “but..”
“Really I’m alright” you pulled him back down and hugged him. You were actually in a lot of pain but Moat was smart and would see through your lie easily so you couldn’t go.
Neteyam pulled away and moved to grab your basket that held all your medicinal supplies.
He pulled the cover off and frowned, “I thought you picked herbs yesterday, there’s barely anything here..”
You idiot- you left your basket in the forest!
“Ah I can’t believe it, I forgot my basket in the forest..”
He raised a brow then furrrowed it, “you didn’t hit your head did you?” Suddenly he was near you again inspecting your face.
“N-no I didn’t I must’ve been just a little flustered is all”
Neteyam pulled back and looked you in the eye, “Yawne…is everything ok? You seem…strange”
“I-I” what should you say?
Luckily a familiar voice outside the tent called interrupting you.
“Bro you in there? We need to talk about the next mission, everyone’s waiting” Neteyam reluctantly pulled away giving you a wary look. You smiled hoping to ease his worries.
“I’ll be back later , go to Kiri for help at least ok?”
You nodded not meaning it and watched him leave the tent.
You let out a sigh once you were alone. Perhaps you could sneak into your mother in laws tent since everyone would be at the meeting. She would have herbs. At least that way Neteyam would assume you went to Kiri.
Slowly you stood up and readjusted your clothing, not that it really covered anything..
Luckily when you exited the tent, everyone was either at the meeting or busy preparing for the next raid.
You went behind the tents as swiftly as you could and finally arrived at your destination.
You called out but just as you suspected they were gone.
You felt guilty basically stealing but you didn’t really have many options.
You gathered what you needed and left, you nearly let out a scream when you bumped into the large body of your father in law.
“Woah easy- y/n?” You quickly schooled your shock with an uneasy smile. “I came to ask to borrow some herbs but no one was here.. I hope you don’t mind?”
Jake shook his head, “of course not, go crazy” he reached beside the door grabbing a map before moving to leave again when he happened to catch sight of the bruise.
“What happened?” He asked concerned.
“O-oh nothing really, I just had a bad fall..”
He eyed your face for a moment before nodding
“That looks bad, make sure you get that looked at ok?”
“I will” you smiled and sighed as he left the tent.
Luckily on your way back you didn’t run into anyone.
***************************************************
“Alright dismissed” warriors turned to prepare for the next raid and Neteyam was about to follow them when his father held him back.
“Wait there’s something I wanted to talk to you about.”
“What is it?”
Jake looked a bit uneasy but continued on, “it’s about y/n.”
Neteyam perked up at this, “Why? did something happen?”
“I saw her just now in our tent getting herbs, she was…skittish and I saw really nasty looking bruise.”
Neteyam nodded, “She fell in the forest…on some rocks she said...”
“She’s one of the best climbers in the clan Neteyam”
“I know this…do…do you think she was lying?” He furrowed his brows. His mate never lied to him before. Even saying it out loud sounded weird.
Jake tilted his head, “I’m not saying that but…” Neteyam nodded as if coming to a decision.
“Yeah ok… I’ll talk to her”. He thanked his father and went about his duties. He was definitely going to have a talk when he got home.
****************************************************
You had been resting in your tent for most of the day when you realized you had nothing prepared for dinner. Neteyam mentioned he would stay a couple nights so it was only right he had a nice hot meal while he was here.
Sighing you stood up and exited the tent. You could at least catch a couple fish for the both of you.
You grabbed your fishing net and made your way towards the river.
It was evening time but there were a few Navi around.
Good, you didn’t want to be alone..
Throughout the next hour you kept glancing around but luckily you hadn’t seen him so far.
It was dark now everyone had mostly gone so you decided to call it quits as well. you managed to catch a couple small fish but just needed to check your last net tied to the tree.
Slowly so not to aggravate your wounds you climbed ontop of a giant rock. This net was along the river edge but from higher up.
Due to the weather getting colder it was better not to get into the water.
You kneeled on the rock and bent down to pull up your net.
The sudden screech of an Ikran roared behind you. It happened within seconds, you turned only to have a wing smack into you propelling you forward.
You gasped then were suddenly choking and spluttering on freezing water.
You whipped your head around to face the Ikran. You mentally screamed realizing it was HIS Ikran. And the devil in question laughter heartily from the tree line. He whistled and his Ikran flew towards him.
You didn’t wait to see what he would do next, you scrambled out of the river shivering and ran back as fast as you could.
Cold so cold, the night wind only made it that much worse.
Your teeth chattered violently. Hot tears pouring down your cheeks.
You slammed the tent flap open and clambered inside.
“Y/n?” Neteyam sprung up from his sitting position and practically sprinted to you.
Oh great mother not now! You thought he would be out still with the warriors!
“Y/n?! What happened?? why are you soaking wet?!” Neteyam grabbed your shoulders looking you up and down.
“I-I” your voice came out in a cold stutter. The temperature settling in deep into your body.
Neteyam pulled you closer to the fire and helped you remove your wet things before handing you a woven blanket.
“Yawne please, tell me what happened” Neteyam pulled you closer to him, hoping his body heat would help.
He wiped away your tears but they flowed like an endless river.
“I-I....I fell in the river.” Neteyam tensed, he could see your hesitation and how you wouldn’t meet your eyes.
“And how did that happen hm? What aren’t you telling me?” His voice was more firm now.
Should you tell him? But you didn’t want to cause trouble and disturb the alliance. It was your fault you were weak…
“Y/n!” You gasped, Neteyam hardly if ever raised his voice at you.
You couldn’t even answer as your sobs and distress grew louder. Now the love of your life was angry with you. Why could you never do anything right?!
Neteyam softened completely seeing your distress, “Alright alright, mawye my love, it’s alright, mawye…I’m sorry, please don’t cry” he hugged you tightly, bringing your head to his chest. He held you like that soothingly stroking your back until your sobs quieted down.
You slowly pulled away still not meeting his eyes.
Neteyam brought a finger to your chin and slowly pushed it up.
His heart broke seeing the puffiness. He followed the finger to your cheek and splayed them out. You leaned into his warmth.
“Whatever it is, you know I am with you my love.”
You let out a shakey breathe. “I know…” you whispered brokingly.
“And I will always be there for you… no matter what it is but I can’t help if I don’t know what is wrong.”
You reached up to hold the hand caressing your face. “I am always causing you trouble Neteyam.”
He blinked at this, “what?”
“I’m always causing you trouble…I don’t want to burden you…”
Neteyams brows furrowed, “Yes you are trouble but you are never a burden to me- where is this coming from?” He asked still confused.
“I’m weak Neteyam..”
“Y/n you’re not-“
You gulped and said it again, “I am weak. You shouldn’t have to protect me, I should be able to defend myself like everyone else but I just…I’m not a fighter Neteyam.. it’s never been an issue but now…” you sniffled trying not to break down again. “I-I didn’t want to bother you with this… you have way more important matters- I just- it’s getting worse and he isn’t stopping I-“ you were babbling out what you could, your mate trying to piece everything together but once he heard the word “he” he froze.
The wheels started turning in Neteyams mind, he didn’t know what he thought actually happened to you but the second he realized it was another person who hurt you a hot surge of anger coursed through him.
The grip on your face tightened but not painfully. “Someone did this to you? His eyes motioned to your bruises, voice dangerously calm but brimming with unleashed rage. He kept calm for your sake.
You nodded looking away in shame. Well you tried but he brought your face back to his glowing eyes.
“Tell me”
You bit your lip nervously.
“Tell me who dared to lay a hand on my mate…”
You hesitated, “I… I’m afraid it will damage war relations…”
Neteyam held back a snarl. So it was one of the other clans men then..
“Tell me”
You were about to protest again but Neteyams eyes made you pause. They held so much emotion. Love, anger, but most importantly in this moment they promised you safety.
With a deep breathe you closed your eyes then opened them again, “…Tu’Mey…”
Neteyam clenched his fist to keep himself from bursting just quite yet.
“Listen carefully y/n” you nodded.
“You will tell me everything and leave nothing out do you understand?” His tone left no room for arguing.
So you listened and told him everything.
And when you finally finished, you were taken aback at the speed Neteyam removed his hand from you. In all of 3 seconds he had grabbed his knife and ax and stormed to the door.
“N-Neteyam!”
“Stay here Mate” before you could protest he was gone.
You slumped down in a heap. Oh great mother what would happen now?!

NETEYAM X READER X SULLY FAMILY (platonic)
Tumblr media
When neteyam had first told you about the sully family leaving, that they were being hunted, including you,  it came as such a shock, you'd known Neytiri all your life, and you'd also known that the goddess of a woman loved this land more than she loved her ikran. You were even further surprised when you learned that jake wanted you to come.
You were there when those Human-NAvi breeds had interrogated Lo-ak , those men yanked your hair and held you up like you were a slab of meat. That was when it all started, with a knife pressed to your throat, and spider being taken away, you knew something big was going to happen.
You belonged to this family since you were very young, being that your own parents were killed off by the sky people, leaving you as a child with mo-at. Jake took you under his wing, after all, You were only a year younger than neteyam, so they couldn't turn you away. Eventually, sensing the strong relationship between you and their oldest son, you were declared his promised mate.
Even so, you never truly felt like a part of the family, Jake and Neytiri tried their hardest, but often times you outcasted yourself, trying to prove yourself, trying to show them that they shouldn't regret taking you in. It didnt help that as you grew up, you and their oldest son developed some kind of complicated relationship, something neither of you could explain fully.
So, even though you loved this land, loved your home, with all of your heart, you left. The clan leadership was passed along to another family, and you all packed up your things, boarded your ikrans, and left. The ride was long, and hard, you didn't dare look back at the forest once you crossed the shoreline, fearing that homesickness would overcome you.
---
When you arrived at the metkayina tribe's village, you, along with the entire family, were greeted with a not-so-warm welcome, hostility was laced in every word they said. A woman, clearly pregnant, circled around your family, eyeing all of you down. You unknowingly caught the attention of the only son of the metkayina clan leader.
“Why have you come upon our land? Forest people belong in the forest” she spoke, hissing out the words, and locking eyes with neytiri. boys behind you grabbed at your tail and arms, yanking you about, commenting on how skinny, how frail it was. Neteyam stepped behind you and wrapped an arm around your waist, shooting a look to the greenish-blue boys.
“We are seeking refuge, and can't stay with the omaticaya clan.” Your father interjected, stepping in front of Neytiri, who was already hissing at the woman for touching tuk. For touching her. Obviously, you all were desperate, the different clans never mixed.
“Your arms are skinny, along with your tails, you will move very slow in the water. And you have no knowledge of our ways, you all will be like babies.” She grabbed Neytiri's tail, and yanked. You willed yourself not to go forward and push her off. You were just so scared, and so tired, if they didn't accept you, then you would have no where else to go. You clutched neteyams hand tight, just trying to relieve any of the anxiety you had with his presence.
“We can learn your ways, please. I’m just trying to protect my family.” Jake begged, locking eyes with you for a split second, then with the woman again, they held gazes for a few ominous moments. You stood in the back, wanting to cave in on yourself like a crab.
“It is settled, my children will give theirs lessons on our ways, and we will give them a home, treat them like your brothers and sisters.”
---
It was rough at first, having to abandon all of your traditions, the way you ate, the way you lived, the way you breathed. But as days passed, you got used to it, proving yourself to be a quick learner, catching on to the way of water fairly quickly. You werent as good as tsireya or anuong of course, But you were certainly ahead of lo-ak.
Once the anxiety of moving left you, you were finally able to appreciate the world around. All the unfamiliar excitements that came with a new home. The water that filled your home, the fish, the sand, the plants, the corals, everything was so… beautiful. That was the only word you could use to describe it.
Often you wished to live under the sea, be part of ey-wa, you grew to be absolutely fascinated with it.  How the ocean could be full of peace, or rage, how it could be as beautiful as it was terrifying. You didn't think that you'd ever been this content before, in a place that you loved, with the people you loved.
But, there's always a yin to a yang. And for you, that happened to be the children of the clan leaders. Tsireya was kind, and so bubbly, the two of you got along very well, even being able to call yourself somewhat best friends, you would giggle about the sully boys being idiots or gossip about the village and it's people.
But… anuong and roxto? They were much less than happy to help you and your family, anuong believed that forest people belonged in the forest (like mother like son), and  as roxto idolized his older brother, so did he. While anuong did harbor some strange feeling for you, which made him cut back on his teasing for you (and only you), he still made it a living hell for neteyam, and lo-ak, and kiri.
They poked fun at the skinniness of your people's arms and legs and tails, bullying lo-ak for having a hard time, at kiri for being a strange girl, and especially at neteyam, just for having you.
And you. Anuong couldn't find an ounce of reasoning why, but he hated you, because he couldn't stop liking you. Which resulted in only the most loving teasing and bullying from him  and his goonds. You couldn't tell the difference.
They always knew where to find you most of the time, with your head buried in the sand, or sitting on top of corral with a turtle, or picking seaweed for no reason at all. You had the strangest habits.
Like now, you floated on top of the shallow water, a few seashells sunbathing on your back, your hands stuck in the sand below. You didn't even notice the three boys coming up close, commenting on what the hell you thought you were doing.
“She's looking at the sand! What kind of freak are you?” one of the boys yelled above the water, pulling your tail up, that you did hear. Your head perked up from under the water, and you kicked his hand away from you. Wiping your eyes, you let out a soft
“Huh?” confusion laced through your tone, you stared at the three, anuong stood in the middle, looking strangely meek, while the one pulling at your tail giggled at your “idiocy”, the sight of them towering over you explained enough, and brought fear to you.
“Huh?” roxto mocked, splaying his hands out “I said- What kind of freak, are. You. “ he repeated, and as you stood up he got close to your face, and placed a hand on your shoulder, sticking his tongue out and hissing. You cowered back, and shrugged his hand off.
“I’m not a freak.” you spoke, and began walking towards the village and shore, hoping you could lose them, or they would just give up. They didn't, and instead followed you, tugging at your braids, and your tail.
“Are you sure, looking at stones, playing with fish. Freak.” anuong was the one this time to speak up, pointing at the little pile of seaweed and seashells on the shoreline. He leaned over, and hissed the word in your face, you were on the verge of tears at this point . Footsteps behind him were swift and soft as they came closer.
“Back off man, leave her alone” Lo-ak smacked him across the back of his head, coming up in front of you to  serve as a barrier from anuong. He'd known that you weren't the most normal person, but it still pissed him off to no end that people like anuong could walk all over you.
“Awwww, does the freak need her little brother to come and save her?”The boys around teased and pulled on lo-ak, grabbing at his “baby” tail and poking fun at him, lo-ak was dumb, you'd known this since he was young, he was reckless, and didnt think. But, his recklessness made him strong. But also gets him into situations like this. Where the two of you end up in an equal amount of trouble, tears threatening to spill from your eyes , and lo-akabout to set somebody on fire.
You automatically felt safer seeing neteyam rise frm the ocean waves, clearly hearing the commotion on the beach, he had been out here with you and lo-ak, but the three of you separated for a short moment. Of course anuong had to start something when he wasnt there to protect you.
“He said, leave her alone” Your mate shoved roxto back from you and set a hand on your shoulder, anuong raised a brow, but hushed his friend when he began mocking you for needing neteyam to come and save you too. The man you loved  locked eyes with you and grabbed your hand, clearly trying to rub it in anuongs face that you were his. Then, he walked, and lo-ak followed.
“Demon blooded freaks, all of them. You don't belong here.” Anuong hissed, eyes narrowing at the three of you beginning to walk away. You held onto lo-ak, knowing that the remark would set him off the edge further, trying to pull him back when he turned around. He just shook your hand off, and hurried over to anuong.
You didnt even care to listen to what Lo-ak was saying, knowing damn well that it would just end with him throwing punches, you were proved right when neteyam left a small kiss on your forehead, and sprinted over to jump into the mix. They yanked tails, and ears, and eventually, you sat in the sand and watched, laughing when they wined.
When both sides had tired out, and anuong and his little trio had run away, neteyam and lo-ak returned, you already had your lecture prepared, which was just a soft version of what Jake and Neytiri would say.
“What happened to not causing a ruckus? Dad is  going to kill you.”
“I Wouldn't let them talk to you like that, my y/n, not ever.”
---
You listened to Your father as he talked to the two boys, which turned out to be a lecture exactly as you had predicted, a-lot of yelling and “yes-sir’s”, you were praying to ey-wa that netetayam wouldnt take the blame again as he usually did, knowing that it would only make things worse. But as usual, he did the exact opposite of what you needed,
“It was my fault, I started the fight. They called y/n a freak,
told her she was strange.” He spoke, which only made jake angrier that his boys couldn't control themselves. Although he couldnt really blame neteyam, you were his mate, of course, the two of you hadn't completed the ritual, but you were head over heels for each other. Jake would certainly fight a metkayina boy for Neytiri. Anyday. By the end of the lecture, both lo-ak and neteyam were exhausted.
“Go apologize, he's the clan leader's son, make it count.” lo-ak huffed at that but still walked out, you did feel bad for him, you always did. But there was nothing you could do to change your dad's mind about this. He would just have to do it. When neteyam began to leave the hut, you started sitting up to go talk to him, not before your father could stop him though.
“Wait, neteyam. How did those other guys look?”
“Worse.”
“Good, thats good.”
You laughed.

*extra*
Later that day, when the eclipse darkened the sea, the entire family was all inside, eating dinner and talking about their days. You stayed outside, preferring to watch the fish swim at your feet. You weren't upset, per se, just mildly off-put. You didn't think that anoung hated you THAT much. You did notice the loud footsteps behind you on the wooden peer, clearly belonging to your dad, but you didn't say anything. When he sat next to you, and you lay down with your head in his lap.
“I heard about what happened today, did they hurt you? I'll beat them myself if they did” He threatened, a way-too serious look on his face for him to be joking. You let out a chuckle nonetheless, letting his hand place itself on the center of your back.
“No. They just made fun of me.” your voice was hushed, and it was apparent you were at least a little embarrassed by the incident. You didn't think you were a freak, you didn't know as much about this place as the natives did, so you were obviously excited about everything. That's the only reason you liked to collect the seaweed or look at the sand. You let out a sigh.
“Babygirl?” He spoke, beginning to rub circles into your back in a comforting motion.
“Yeah?” You were relaxed now, being in the arms of the only real father figure you've ever known. You swished your hand in the water  below, watching the glowing little guppies follow it around.
“If one of them boys ever speaks to you like that again, punch them so hard in the nose that they won't be able  breathe for a week.” He threatened, making a fist with his free hand and motioning a punch. You just stared up at him and snickered at how serious he was.
“Okay, i’ll make sure to do that next time” you laughed at the thought of you even remotely trying to fight, you were good with arrows, knives,  and medicines, but not fists.
“And if you don't want to, call me, or lo-ak, or even better,
Neteyam”

Honey, I belong with you
And only you babe.
Only you my girl. Only you, babe.
Only you darling. Only you- Dark Red, Steve Lacy
You had never been good with change.
Your steadfast nature flourished in routine. You found happiness in the known. In your corner of the world, mixing tinctures and tending to your clan. You’d been well aware of your role from a young age, had thought you’d understood the great mother’s plan for your life-
And then the Sully’s had ridden in on the strong east wind.
There had been invisible strings at play.
Unbeknownst to you fate had threaded you to a future that you couldn't have foreseen even in your wildest dreams. Entangled your heartlines with the last person you ever would’ve expected-
You think about the fact as you stare out at the choppy sea. Your hands are busy collecting the last of your belongings, but your mind is far away. Distracted and restless as the storms that gather along the coastline. The sky is dark and rain already falls in a light misting.
Fertility Season is here, palpable as it rolls over the village of Awa’atlu.
You’ve never experienced it this way, always a spectator and never a participant. Normally at this time of year you’d be preparing to assist the other villagers through the week of haze induced mating. Being bogged down by wet weather and running from Mauri to Mauri had always been exhausting, but still. You knew how to do it, we’re accustomed to what was expected of you when a healer was needed.
What would be expected of you as a mate?
The thought excites you and terrifies you all the same.
You want to be with Neteyam. There is no question about the fact. You crave him in a way that you didn't know was possible. Carnal and inescapable. Being with him is as easy as breathing,
It’s everything else that’s harder.
You’re an adult now, have been for years, yet you still live in your family home. It’s not that you had been forced to stay. Ao’nung had taken his leave after his rite; his hut more of a bachelor pad than anything. He still came to his parents home daily to raid their food stores and have his mother touch up his braids- but still. He’d jumped fearlessly into independence and had been living on his own for over a year.
All you’d ever known lived inside these walls.
Your Uncle Tonowari and Aunt Ronal had taken you in at such a young age that you don’t really remember anything else. You’d slept in the same bed since you were a childling, in your secluded little corner. Decorated with all of your trinkets and shrouded in familiarity, you’d loved your space.
It was safety incarnate.
And you leaving was difficult, for everyone.
It would’ve happened one day, a necessary step towards adulthood that all had to take and yet as you took your turn you couldn't help but be a bit devastated. It felt like a shock to your system, gathering everything you’d accumulated and preparing to leave.
After Fertility Season, you wouldn't return. You’d never sleep under this roof again.
You and Neteyam would start to build your life together- and you’d do so in your own home.
It wasn't even as though you were going far, the vacated mauri that Tonowari had granted you permission to claim was mere meters away, still in the heart of the village. The move wasn't a major one, and would take no time at all. Nothing like the way the Sully’s had been forced to uproot and leave everything they’d ever known.
There was no reason for you to act like a baby about it. So don't allow yourself to.
Even with all of the swirling questions plaguing you, you put on a brave face. Kept it all smiles and reassuring nods. This was all going to be just fine.
Right?
Right.
It’s too busy a time of year for your Aunt and Uncle to be housebound. They tend to the people, attention occupied by assuring the good of the clan. Of course they had given you all of their love before leaving to fulfill their many duties as Olo’eyktan and Tsahik-
Ronal had been stony about your coming of age. Very helpful, sending you back and forth with arms full of supplies and many words of advice. Tonowari on the other hand had played at being unaffected- charitable as ever. Smiling the whole way, reminding you of how proud of you he is at every turn. You pretended not to see the mist in his eyes that he furiously wiped away when he thought you weren't looking.
Tsireya has tears, silent but steady, rolling down her face the entire time you prepare to leave.
She helps you pack and reassures you that she’s fine. She’s so happy for you, yet still. She sniffles paws at her nose every few moments, no matter how many reassuring words you give her.
“You’ll be fine” you hum, gathering the last of your herbs, the tiny vials clinking together as you toss them in with the rest of your things . “Aren't you excited that you get the bigger bed space now?”
She just shoots you a wet smile that doesn't reach her eyes.
Your baby.
Your sweetest girl.
It wouldn't be long before she was leaving the nest herself, but you don't remind her of that fact, you just embrace her tight instead.
Finally, with the large woven basket in your arms, full to the brim, you step out into the rain.
It's chillier then it usually gets on the island. The humidity and wind creating a cold that clings to your bones. You bound quickly down the buoyant netting. Everyone seems to be out, even with the weather- getting their affairs in order. It was going to be a long week- and the village was a buzz. Everyone flitting around, focused in on making sure their loved ones would be well taken care of.
It’s a bit embarrassing, the attention that you receive.
Well meaning clans members give you their blessings in spades. Tight hugs and words of well wishes. Whispered advice and wrapped parcels of food.
A group of Elders who you have known since birth stop you in your tracks. Their hands on your back, your chest, your arms, as they chant over you.
They ask the Great Mother to look over you during this season, to bless you with strong babies and healthy pregnancies. Their knowing smiles are both encouraging and mortifying.
“Your man sure is handsome” Ch’kal, a wrinkled woman with striking silver streaked into her long dark hair, starts “But do they not feed them in the forest? He’s so skinny, isn't he? I’ll give you our families recipe for Lomia-lok(cabbage like rice roll) Put some meat on his bones”
You want to argue that Neteyam’s not skinny, he’s lean. All muscle and sinew, he was stronger than he looked.
Instead you respond cordially “I will gladly take it, thank you for the offering”
“No worry, the skinny ones always have the biggest surprises under their twengs. My muntxa was a scrawny thing and look at how many little ones he gave me” She continues, a mischievous spark twinkling in her eye. Known for her unbridled, silver tongue. “You know what they say, you can’t judge the fruit by the tree”
You can feel the blush rise on your cheeks as images from the beach flash before your eyes.
She had no idea just how…well endowed your future mate truly is. His cock had felt so good in your hand, better than anything you had ever encountered. Huge and hard and all yours.
You keep that fact a secret, hold it tight to your chest as you break away from the crowds.
Lots of the homes of young couples have already been barred off. Their drapes pulled shut and wicker entry blinds secured tightly closed. A thin attempt of privacy. It does little to shelter the sounds of coupling coming from inside. Breathy moans and grunts could be heard, nearly drowned out by the whipping wind.
It was just the beginning. Fertility Season was known to be loud, your people not shy at all when it came to pleasure.
Eager to get out of the rain that only seems to get heavier as the hours pass, you duck down the netted pathway.
Your clan is lucky for the reefs, their protective cushion keeps the village from ever feeling the full fury of the storms.
Even still, by the time you’re at the mouth of your new home, you’re drenched. Your hair clinging to your back uncomfortably as you get to quick work.
The graciously given pod is something of a fixer upper.
Had been used for storage but cleared promptly when you and Neteyam formally announced your courtship. He wouldn't have to build a Mauri from nothing, but even then. It would be a while before the space felt your own. The bare walls unnerve you a bit.
A sturdy roof is all that's truly needed and it had been patched up just fine. The fire that Neteyam had started earlier crackles warmly, a pleasant welcoming as you dry yourself off.
The firepit in the center has been cleared of soot and debris and topped by sturdy rods that hold a ready to use skillet and hand-me-down stew pots. There’s baskets of fresh fruit and dried meat placed in rows near the jugs of fresh water, you suspect that neat work had been Neteyam’s mothers doing. Neytiri had been a great help in the relocation process. You still felt a bit awkward in her strong, silent presence but we’re no less grateful for the offered assistance.
A bed mat, thick and large enough for two sits in the back corner. Already piled with an accumulation of Metkayinan and Omaticayan woven bedding. You admire the foreign patterns that make up Neteyams quilts. They look cozy, so much thicker than your own thinner blankets.
You sink down, resting on your shins as you begin to arrange them. The need to nest is instinctual, deep rooted and you move on auto pilot as you straighten out the bedding. It had to be perfect, the home. Your bed. And it would be, had the potential to be.
Yes, it’s a little bit of a mess.
The collection of you and Neteyam’s things strewn out across most of the visible floorspace, not yet put carefully away and sorted. It’s also far smaller than what you’d grown up in. Kind of rickety and worn down-
But it’s yours. You would live an entire life here. You get lost in imagining it; raising children, growing old. Spending years cultivating endless memories- maybe you’d build onto the structure? Expand the pod, depending on how many children you have-
“Fucking hell” Neteyam curses in his fathers foreign tongue as he rushes through the entrance, quickly latching the canvas and wicker flap across the doorframe behind him. Securing your home against the stirring elements.
His arms are full and he’s soaked from the storm. Rivulets of rain water race down his sculpted body and you try not to be too obvious as you gawk at him.
He’s just so good looking, it really is unfair.
“It’s really starting to pour out there”
“Yes, I was worried you might of drowned” You grin back at him, loving the
“Ha, ha” Neteyam teases as he goes to drop the baskets full of food down by all of the others “It’s my mom. She wont stop. I keep trying to tell her that we will be fed for weeks but she just won't hear it. ”
“I think it's sweet” you hum as you watch the planes of his back, the muscles bunching as he bends down to arrange the fruit.
He’s so strong, holds it in his back and broad shoulders. You ache to run your fingers along his long spine.
Your teeth dig into your bottom lip hard as you continue working at the bedding. Trying to get the blankets to lay just right. You don’t think it will truly be done until you and Neteyam’s scents are saturating every inch of fabric, but still. It’s good right?
All you want to do is drag him down, make him roll around in the bed mat. It’s too firm, not broken in yet. You need him to plow you into it, if only to soften it up a little.
Your thoughts had been horribly vulgar since that night at the beach. Vivid in a way that had you losing yourself to them often.
It had only been two eclipse’s since, but the days had been long and filled with rushed preparations. Neteyam had been preoccupied with making sure the Mauri was livable, that it was comfortable enough to house you, comfortably, for the duration of the coming week. Both of you would be lost to your hormones soon, it was best to get it all done while he still had his wits about him.
The spaces between intimacy make you anxious and antsy. You question yourself, every touch and word. He’d made it more than clear that he wanted to be with you but what exactly did that mean? Could you just touch him, however you wanted, whenever you wanted? You’d never shared that with a man and knew you had a while to go before the awkwardness of it all faded.
Neteyam’s presence breaks you out of your thoughts, a big hand coming to rest on your shoulder. Palm warm as he looms behind you “It looks good, yawne.”
A surge of pride runs through you, makes your fingertips tingle and tail swish slowly “Really? You don’t think it needs more blankets? I could hunt some down-”
His chuckle is low, deep. So gentle as he croutches down until he’s nuzzling your hair, speaking his next words so close to your ear that it flicks with the whisper of contact.
“There’s no need for that, it’s perfect. Such nice little nest for us to spend the season in”
How does he always know just what to say?
You lean into him heavily, your back meeting his chest. Stomach fluttering with excitement at the contact. You’ve wanted to be in his arms since leaving them and are pretty sure that this could become an addiction. Being so close to him was heady, you’re not sure if it’s the electric energy in the air- or if its just HIM.
His hands slide from your shoulder, skimming across your chest. Massaging your flesh with the pads of his fingers. Your heart flutters hummingbird fast as he thumbs at your collarbone and a small gasp leaves you as his fingers start to slip down into your skimpy top.
It’s been so hard, keeping your mind from sinking under the haze of Fertility Season. So many of your peers are gone to it. Completely to their hormones, tucked away together as the storms batter the shore.
His touches leave fire in their wake, warm you up from the inside out and melt what little control you have left. You’d been good, hadn’t you? Gotten everything in order, all of your responsibilities were squared away. You could just…have this. Have him, and your small home and the rising heat between you.
“Need you” you whisper as he begins to palm at your breast, rubbing a callused palm over the hardening bud of your nipple over and over again.
“Need me how?” Neteyam presses, not stoping his insistent groping “‘What do you need, yawntutsyip(darling)? My mouth, my hands? My cock?”
You choke on your own tongue, startled by both Neteyam’s raunchy words and the fact that he pinches your sensitive nipple hard as he speaks them.
In all reality, you want it all. Want to ride his fingers again, and feel his mouth all over you. You’d dreamt, so vividly, about his head between your thighs-
All of those pale in comparison to what you truly crave.
‘It’s the skinny ones that always have the biggest secrets under their twengs’
You maneuver in his hold, twisting until you come face to face with exactly what you desire.
With him standing, straightening out to his full height, and you still resting on your knees, your eye level with the prize. Saliva pools in your mouth as you lean in, sucking in deep lungfuls of his scent. Its so strong at his groin that even concealed by his tweng, it still fills your nostrils in fragrant plumes.
So virile and potent that your womb throbs sparply, empty and wanting.
You nuzzle between his legs, nosing eagerly at his covered bulge. When you begin wetting the cloth of with your open mouth kisses and wandering tongue, Neteyam winds his hands in your hair and tugs your gaze up to his-
He’s more than happy to let you explore and get your fill but the lack of skin to skin contact is driving him crazy. His amber eyes are low, his belly concaving with his quickening breath.
“Baby, you’re killing me” he whispers whinely and a feline like grin stretches across your face.
“We can't have my mighty warrior dying on me, now” you croon at him, your small hands running up his strong legs. His muscles bunch under your touch, his thighs firm up, tightening in anticipation “I just wanna...Can’t I have a little taste?”
When you cup where he’s chubbing up, he hisses warningly between his clenched teeth, his fingers tightening in your hair-a thinly veiled warning. You just continue to give him that innocent little look.
Neteyam reaches for the leather bound knots of his covering, tugging on them harshly to free himself from the increasingly tight constraints, its hard to wiggle out of it. Especially when you keep reaching for his swelling balls with deft fingers, your hand tucked in between his thighs-
“Y/N!”
You giggle at his tone, at the shrill warning as the tips of your nails scritch his delicate taint.
Neteyam is huge. His cock is as dark as the rest of his svelte body, but blooms rosy purple at the crown of his swollen head. Longer than it is thick, a bead of thin opaline precum oozes from his slit.
You hum in the back of your throat, swallowing thickly around the saliva that pools your mouth. You can smell his sex, smell his essence rolling off of him and it’s dizzying.
You’re absolutely overwhelmed by it. It triggers something deep and primal. You want to roll around in this smell, want him to cover your body in it.
“You smell really good” you whimper, face coming to rest in the crease of his groin “Eywa, Neteyam- I-I want-fuck“
He hums, the hand still in your hair turns comforting. Pats at your head like your a child. “You wanted to taste, didn’t you?”
“Mmhm” you squeak, inhaling deep lungful's of his rich aroma.
“Then taste, sevin(pretty girl). Here” he pulls you from his center, hold your head, guiding it until your lips hover his top “stick your tongue out-“
The grunt that leaves him sounds like it was punched right from his stomach.
You don’t stick your tongue out-it’s more you take as much of him as you can into your eager mouth. You want his taste down your throat, want to guzzle it straight from the source.
The sensations are exciting and new. Having something so big in your mouth is admittedly a bit awkward, but the flavor that your rewarded with more than up for it. His skin is musky and warm-cut only by the sharp tang of the precum pouring out of him.
“Slow down, damn it- don’t-” Neteyam calves burn, struggling to stay upright as you attack him. “Don’t hurt yourself.”
You’re so hungry for it, gagging yourself harshly on his member. The sounds that erupt from your chest are animalistic, needy and a bit pathetic. You whine for him, knowing somewhere deep that you need his come inside of you.
He’s trying to keep his wits about him, really he is. Trying to guide you through it
“Breathe through your nose, aht. Just like that”
“Not so much teeth, a little gentlier”
“Deep-too deep! Not so deep!”
Between the sounds of your gagging and the little bobs of your head, Neteyam’s losing it. His hips chasing the sweet suction of your hollowed lips, his tip hitting the back of your throat. The rhythm is sloppy and it only takes one odd, pointed thrust to make you choke raggedly..
You cough, pulling off him.
Your sucking had been messy and clumsy, you smear spit all over his groin. Your chin shiny slick when you pull away for a much needed breath.
Neteyam is panting harsley, his face screwed tight in concentration.
“Am I doing okay?”
You’ve never done this part, and that idea that you might be doing it wrong gnaws at you. It’s a familiar uncertainty, one that you’d been warring with since you’d met the darker Na’vi. Neteyam was so sure- so good at all things, and while his competency was part of his appeal, it made you worried that he might realize just how fucking unexperienced you are.
His eyes open, fingers unclenching from the fist in your hair and coming to cup your jaw. You kiss his thumb when it runs across your lips, chase it with the tip of your tongue.
“You’re being such a good girl for me, Y/N. You almost made me come, I was barely able to catch myself”
The sensations stirring in your belly makes you groan, hug his legs tighter, your head pressed against his lower belly. The praise makes you feel lightheaded. Very much like you aren't really in this moment-
He clocks the slight change, on the way you’re clinging to him. He suddenly doesn't want the power dynamic, he doesn't want to leer over you any longer. Not with the sweet little nest you’d made right there just waiting to be used
“Is that what you wanted?” Neteyam wonders as he herds you, gentle but sure, back into the tangle of blankets. You go willingly, back resting against the padding, “To make me come?”
He likes this so much better. You all burrowed into the covers. He wants to pur at the sight of you, wants to dig you deeper into the nest. Cover your body with his own and never let you out.
“Mhmm” you stare up at him with big eyes. “O-of course I did. I want to know that I can bring you pleasure”
At his strong body as he crouches, shuffling forward on his knees. He’s as naked as the day Eywa brought him into this world. He’s something out of an ancient song, so bewitchingly beautiful. All of those sharp, jagged angles-
And yet he smiles at you so tenderly.
“You’re so sweet” Neteyam’s voice is a honeyed croon “Always trying to make me feel good. But I need you to feel good too- I need you to be comfortable with me”
“I am comfortable with you-”
“Are you?” Neteyam inquires, his hands skimming up your legs that are spread round his waist. Starting near your ankles, his palms skim up the firm lines of your calves, trace your knees. So patient in his exploration of your turquoise skin.
You’re panting shallowly at his touch on your thighs.
His bony fingers play with the plush flesh, digging into where your blubber meets hip. Squeezing at curiously. You feel exposed, giddy and scared at letting him touch you.
It’s not like that night at the beach. Not rushed in the shadows.
He takes his time, his golden iris’ searing in the fire light as he appraises you. You’ve never felt…so seen. You’d never had anyone take the time to look at you, like this. Boys in the clan had shot you greedy glances as you matured and came of age and as the niece of the reigning Olo’eyktan, you’d become accustomed to having eyes watching your movements, judging- positively or negatively you never really knew.
It makes you want to run, that look on his face. All intense, focused in only on you. It’s too much, you want to curl into a ball. Away from all of this attention. Want to read his mind- try to understand what he’s seeing. What he wants.
So you can give it to him.
His fingers reach for your embroidered tweng, nimbly working the knots.
“Nete?” you breathe, your voice shaky with nerves.
Still, you raise your hips. Helping him slip the fabric from your body.
The inside of your thighs shine in the flickering glow. The juncture of your body sticky and ready for him. His nostrils flare, his thin tail shoots straight in the air. Stock still.
He’s breathing hard, gulping in lungful's of the air that's swimming with the scent of your pheromones. The scent of your wet cunt.
Emboldened by the sight you spread your legs, knees falling open. Revealing where you're hot and pulsing. The baby blue lips of your pussy are puffy, unfurling into a pretty rosy color as you bare your insides to him. Your hole twitches, pulses with your racing heart rate.
His gaze on the most hidden part of yourself makes you hot. It's secret, just for him. Just for his big honeyed eyes.
You reach down, spreading yourself with your fingers- your hard clit poking out of its little hood in a way that has Neteyam groaning. His shoulders shaking as he turns his head- like he just can't bare the view. You fingering your own cunt, spreading it wide for him would be burned into his corneas for the rest of his days.
Your fingers are soaked, barley dipped into yourself yet covered in your own arousal. You bring them up to Neteyams quivering lips-
He gasps, gaze snapping back to yours as you wipe your shiny slick over his cupids bow.
“Fuuuuuck” he hisses, grabbing your thin wrist bruisingly hard. Holding your feminine hand to his face, helping you to rub your wetness along his mouth.
You’re in love with him.
You have been for months. Your heart had pined for this moment. To share this with him, to be able to scent him. To hold him. To mate him.
You don't have it in you to wait any longer.
“Please” you gasp as his hot tongue delves between your fingers, tracing your knuckles.
“Please what?” he mumbles, his mouth busy collecting any and all of your essence that he could reach.
You’re overwhelmed, shaking. You think you may start crying- your eyes sting harshly. As harsh as the sting of your empty womb. “I-I-I don't know. Please. Just please-”
A flash of lightning strikes across the sky outside, so bright that the pod lights up for a moment with its vicious neon purple glow.
The two of you look at each other in a light that's new, foreign. His long dark braids look something like a halo.
Neteyam can see the tears gathering in your eyes. The desperation in the green orbs.
“Y/N” He breathes, lowering his head to yours. His forehead resting against your own as he clutches your hand from his mouth to his chest so that you can feel the way that it's racing. “oel ngati kameie. I’ve only ever seen you-”
You gasp, lips searching for his.
He repeats it into the pecking kisses. He wants you to know, to understand that this was all he’d ever wanted.
A woman, warm and loving and all his, in his bed.
He’d laid bruised and bloody on the battlefield dreaming of this. Thinking that it was too far out of his reach, that he could never have it. Though the woman in his fantasies face had always been blurry- he knew it had always only been you. Eywa had plucked him from the forest, from everything he knew, and plopped him in the middle of the ocean.
To bring him to you
You reach for your kuru, the thick braid easy to find in your loose hair. You need this, before he slips into your body you need to be connected to his soul. You’re gagging for it, shaking as you offer him everything you have to give.
Neteyam brings his own kuru over his shoulder and your stomach flops dangerously.
There’s a moment of stillness.
The storm rages steadily outside, the platter of rain on the canvas roof consistent. The howling of the wind strong- and yet all you can hear is your own heartbeat. Neteyams breathing. There are no more words to be spoken. No, they’d only get in the way. What the two of you are doing is ancient, older than Pandora itself. Its the base for all life, for all connection.
The tendrils at the end of your kuru glow, a lilac haze as they reach desperately for Neteyams own. Straining, writhing in a way that you’d never experienced.
Only calming as they connect with what they truly want. They bind together seamlessly, and the bond is sealed.
Tsaheylu is made.
The air is forced from your lungs in a breathless whimper at the contact. You can hear Neteyams own sounds too. But no, that's not really it.
You’re not hearing him, you’re feeling him.
His soul, his essence is bright and dancing. He’s stronger then anything you’ve ever felt, instantly seeping bone deep. He feels like the forest at dawn, like the last moment before the evening eclipse over the ocean.
You’d heard stories of the first time mates make Tsaheylu. Of course you had. Some had been dirty and scandalous, leaving you blushing. But most had been whispers of reverence.
There was nothing like it. Being connected to another Na’vi body, mind and soul was an experience that no one could truly put into words.
You get it now.
It's all consuming. Overwhelming. Euphoric in a way that you didn't know could exist.
You and Neteyam blur. You’re not sure where he ends and you begin.
His forehead grits against yours as he pants, lost to the sensation of you. Of him. Of the bond.
His arms twine around your middle, hauling you as close as possible. He wants to crawl into your skin, wants to dig so deep into you that he will never return to the outside world. He’s only yours, from now until the day he returns to the All Mother.
“I’m yours” you reply through the haze. The words spill through the neurological connection. He doesn't need to speak them out loud.
And neither do you. You needn't tell him what you want. He can feel it, can feel the hot pulsing of your desperate cunt. He grabs ahold of his hard cock and leads it to where you need him. He doesn't even need to look, though a part of him wants to watch you take it.
You cry out as you’re breached for the first time. Your virgnally tight body clinging to every inch of him as he sinks slowly into you. The sensations new and dizzying. Everything is too much, and at the same time not enough. Your arms are wrapped tightly around his neck as you choke on the stretch of it all.
“You have to relax for me, shh, it's okay. Don't tense up or else it will hurt more” He soothes you, because he can feel it all. Tsaheylu a feedback loop. It hurts, there’s no way for him to have completely eliminated the pain. But he works you slowly through it. Let's you take all the time you need as he carves out his place within your body.
His sharp hip bones meet yours and you shudder.
“You okay?” he worries as you shift against the large intrusion. Your hips shifting, testing. You just shake your head and bury it in his neck. Eyes screwed tightly shut as you try to adjust to him.
It takes a long moment for the burn to fade from pain…to something else. Something itchy and nagging.
“Mmm” your hips move in slow, restless, circles. Electric shocks racing up your spine, flowing through your kuru as his heavy length rubs a spot within you that feels so good “Move, ugh, move”
“Slowly” Neteyam starts to adhere to your plea’s. Trying not to give into his need to snap into you.
“Cant-ah. Feels so weird” you grunt, trying to nail that place inside of you again. Your gummy walls pulse around him, your body begging him to help. To make you feel good. “Move, move. Please, I need you to move faster”
“So fucking tight” he gasps as he pulls out, only able to get about halfway free, before your strong hole is sucking him right back in. “Never felt anything so tight”
He feels your flare of jealousy, uncomfortably hot, through the bond.
“Never- you can't be with anyone else again” you warn him through shuttered breath. Your nails digging into the smooth skin on the back of his neck, under his braids.
“My love-” his amused chuckle tickles your ear.
“No. You can never even look at anyone else again. You’re only mine” you seethe, your hips grinding into his dangerously. Encouraging him to take you. To pound into you the way you needed him to. “I’ll kill them”
Neteyam's groan echoes around the space of your newly shared home.
His thrusts grow strong, careless. Pulling out and then sinking back into your squelching heat, all the way to the hilt. Your body's jerk with the rhythm of his fucking. You hold on tightly for the ride, your knees hugging at his ribs as you give him all the room he needs to move inside of you.
His tip bully’s it’s way deep, too deep. You wail as it kisses your cervix. That sharp pain back, combined with the pleasure it was unbearable.
“Ah” you arch into the sensation, confused at the way your body welcomes it even though it stings, and feels scarily new. Neteyam grabs your left leg, raises it high until your calf rests on his shoulder.
Your eyes cross, your mouth falls open in a wordless gasp.
Everytime you try to suck in a breath, he fills you right back up. Hits that secretive, sensitive spot relentlessly. Its maddening, makes you shake all over-
“Neteyam” you warn, reaching for his hand. He just grabs your fingers, pins your arm over your head, hand held captive by his fingers as he starters down at you.
“Yeah? Are you there?” His thrusts turn very pointed, deliberate “Come for me, come all over me”
You’re tightening up quickly, screeching as you clench around his plowing cock. The waves of pleasure are almost too much, feels too good. Your stomach quivers, and it’s like you dove from the highest cliff as you’re struck by your first orgasm.
It’s so good you can taste it-
-You choke on it as Neteyam continues his relentless pace. Not slowing down even a little bit as you struggle. Left hypersensitive, still pulsing around him as your orgasm is drawn out. Never ending. You’re blubbering, trying to ground yourself, holding onto him as he pistons inside of you.
His panting breaths are damp as he hides in the skin of your neck.
Holds his body to yours as he works himself to his release. One of his hands still keeps your arm pinned above your head- the other works his way to your leg that’s loose around his hips. Props it up to join the other, so that both of your legs dangle over his broad shoulders. Bends you into a mating press that has you screaming. Truly unable to take in a breath as he displays all that strength of his- and holds you down. Makes you take what you’d wanted to much.
It doesn't take much at all- when his sharp canines graze your shoulder you’re gone for. You don't think you’d truly come down from the last orgasm when you fall into another. You can't even take in a breath to make sound, you just wheeze as you come.
Neteyam had wanted this to be special. Had wanted to do it right- to mate you the way that your ancestors had intended.
As he bites into your shoulder, his teeth breaking the skin- he seals the bond. Its painful, and the sharp metallic twang of your blood fills his mouth as he fills your pussy with his seed.
His groin presses against yours, holding you still. Keeping the rivers of his release inside of you. You're whimpering and twitching, yet still he pins you.
His warm, slippery tongue laves against the sluggishly bleeding wound.
He hopes that it sticks.

The hours drone by and day turns to night, the dusk not bringing an end to the storms. If anything they get louder. The rain falling heavier, thunder roaring startlingly. You are so beyond fucking glad that you don't have to brave it, that you instead get to laze in bed. Wrapped up in warm, worn blankets.
Your body melts into Neteyam’s as he massages every inch of exposed skin. His strong fingers digging into your tired muscles as you lounge against him, cheek laid comfortably on his chest.
You feel boneless, but also more powerful than you ever have before. You’re a woman mated now. All of those seasons spent alone, all of the whispers. They don't matter now.
You have a mate.
You hug Neteyams waist a little tighter, hiding your smile in his dark skin.
He chuckles, can feel how proud you are of yourself through the bond. He hasn't bothered to disconnect your kuru’s after he’d slipped out of you, not ready to release the Tsaheylu. You we’re more then happy to be connected for him for as long as he liked.
You think you might enjoy this part as much as the sex. The afterwards is soft, he attendants to you diligently. You can feel his affection pour off of him in waves. It's thrilling, all of it. This whole day had been filled with fresh experiences. You feel brand new, a different side of yourself coming to the surface.
You’d never been anyone’s lover before.
It makes you all giddy and excited, being his. Having him be yours.
You tell him things you’d never told another soul, not even Tsireya. All your secrets come flowing out of you like a babbling brooke. You want him to know all of you, even the embarrassing scary parts.
“I can see it” He chuckles heartily at the story from your childhood. The one about a bet gone wrong, one where Roxto had been drug down the depths by an angry mother Kapapal(octopus). You’d jumped in after him even though you we’re smaller then a shell shocked Ao’nung, it had all ended in a cloud of black ink that had stained your skin for weeks “You’re my brave little warrior, aren't you?”
“You are the brave one between the two of us. It’s not every tsamsiyu (warrior) that can pass two Iknimaya”
Neteyam shrugs, his hands working on a knot between your shoulder blades “Things like that have never been hard for me. It's simple when there's a task that I can see the end of. It’s like- that is the way my mind works. Anything can be done if you keep your head down and figure out a way whether through. Lo’ak calls me a bootlicker for it. Maybe he’s right, I do not know”
Your fingers dance along a raised, jagged scar. It's on his lower stomach, stretched out across his right hip. It had to have hurt, even now you can feel how deep the scar tissue runs. His body is littered with them. Little tokens from the war. It hurts you that his learned coping mechanism is essentially just sticking it out. Bracing himself against the pain and swallowing it down.
He’d never have to do that again. Not with you.
You cup his jaw “Your brothers not the brightest ilu in the pod, I wouldn't pay any mind to his opinions. It’s why I’m glad that him and Ao’nung are friends now- their voices cancel eachother out”
Neteyams laughter is ringing and contagious.
He’s beautiful when he’s given the opportunity to be vulnerable. When he’s not weighed down with the weight of all of his responsibilities. His eyes glitter when he talks about the forest, about his grandmother and the Omiticaya people. About the vast mountain ranges and dense, endless greenery.
Even when he speaks of the war and training, its not with the sadness that you know you’d be overcome with if you ever had to face such adversities. He was good at following orders and giving them, had an entire air fleet that was at his control.
He mentions a name a few times. A female name. You can help but notice it.
And its stupid. Really it is, but you recall how he'd said you were the tightest he’d ever been with. How many women had be been with, back home? You knew that he wasn't a virgin. He’d never put up that front with you but still-
You busy yourself with the still raw tattoo that sprawls over his right arm. Across his shoulder and down his bicep. It’s still hot and healing. Easy for you to focus on, your withdrawing nature flaring up protectively. You’d rather focus on tending to his wounds then being stupidly upset about his past romps.
You retreat from his arms with a small smile, gently breaking Tsaheylu-
“Hey!” Neteyam protests, reaching to pull you back, but you just giggle at his antics. Standing up and scurrying to the other side of the hut.
Your belongings were scattered all over the place- but still. You dig for the little jar. Giving a triumphant little “aha” when you find it.
He pouts as you plop back down next to him, demanding you give you his arm.
“It’ll get infected if you don't take care of it” you warn as you spread the viscous liquid over the slightly raised ink. Rubbing it into his skin, blowing on it when he hisses about the sting. Kelp Jelly tended to do that. Still, he leans into your touch.
“Let me put some on your shoulder” he requests when you’re finished nodding at the scabbing bite on the juncture where your shoulder met your neck. You allow him to dip his long fingers into the jar, to spread it over your own wound.
“Did I upset you?”
“No”
“Liar” he sighs, working the jelly in a thick layer “I felt it through Tsaheylu. Was it the war? I don't have to talk about that if you don't want me to”
“Of course it wasnt that…” your lips purse as you try to pick your words in a way that will least embarrass you. Try and fail. “Who’s Zeytawni?”
Neteyam gives you a long blank look before a smile cracks across his handsome face. His braids sway as he shakes his head, his thumb brushes soothingly at the skin around the bite.
“You are the most jealous woman I’ve ever met” He’s extremely amused, it makes your cheeks burn and a haughty protest raise in your throat.
“I am not! And if I was-am I not rightfully jealous? The two of you we’re obviously close” you splutter because it's not fair! That it’s all a joke to him. You’re always so flustered and he’s always so collected “I know that you have had…women. I get to be curious about that. I’ve never had partners the way that you have. I don't have anything to compare it to-”
“Stop” Neteyam’s voice is sage but demanding. He puts the jar of healing salve down beside him- before his fingers spread across your bare breast bone. Pressing his palm firmly against your heart.
“There’s nothing to compare. Nothing at all. Please do not ever break the bond again before you ask me about other women. You could’ve have felt for yourself what I feel about all of this.”
Your mouth quirks as you roll his words over in your head. You know he’s right- that you had a one way ticket into his head just moments ago. But maybe you’d been scared about what you’d find. Still naively clinging on to your insecurity.
“I'm just not very experienced. You know that. I’d barely done anything with anyone before you” You whisper, feeling smaller than you we’re.
“That’s…not a bad thing. Not for me. I don't like the idea of anyone else touching you” Neteyam reassures you, but his jaw smarts. Like even thinking about this makes him a little sick.
You get a little thrill out of it “Why? Are you…jealous?”
He snorts. His amber eyes boring into yours for a moment before he speaks “You know exactly how I feel about the attention you get from the men in the village”
You giggle, reaching out to press a peck of a kiss to his cheek “No one ever sparked my interest.”
“Really?” He argues, scoffing a bit as he pickles on a loose thread of the bed mat “None of them seemed to get that hint, huh? They all thought they had a chance.”
You shimmy as close to him as you can get, molding yourself into his side. His arm raises so that you can press right under his armpit, skin to skin. Your hardening nipples graze the side of his ribcage.
You love this. It may not be exactly healthy but you do.
You love feeling like you're not the only one losing your damn mind over the idea of ever having to share what the two of you had.
You smother the side of his face in kisses, your lips pecking all over his cheeks. His nose. The corner of his lips- which purse as he gives a halfhearted return.
“You’re the only one who ever had a chance” you promise as you begin to drag wet open-mouthed kisses down his neck. He’d shed his many chokers, and his bare throat is just so pretty.
“Ahuh” he grumbles, but his head lulls, giving you more room “Even today, I watched so many head’s turn to watch you. As you readied to move into my hut, to live with me. It’s maddening”
You heat up at his words. You feel your core begin to pulse again. You want him like this all of the time, and you know that the future is going to be littered with attempts at getting your man this riled up as much as possible.
“Mark me up some more?” you suggest, casually as ever. Grinning when your mate groans a little at the idea “Cover me in your cum. Make me smell so much like you that no one will ever question who I belong to.”
You yelp, shocked, when his hand claps loudly against your ass.
Swatting it once in warning, before his big paw begins to grope at the hot flesh. For a moment you’re so surprised, so scandalized, that you freeze.
That’s just for a moment though. You’re quickly resuming your assault on his neck, your tail wagging excitedly behind you.
“You like this?” He phrases it as a question, even though the bastard already knows. As though he can't tell, can't feel how wet you are for him when his fingers slip between your cheeks and circle your hole. Your pussy's already futtering for him.
“Mhmm” you whine as he presses into you, fingers disappearing knuckle deep. Not slow, no. He starts to fuck you with them almost automatically “Of course I like that you want me”
He pounds you with his hand and you gasp into his ear, jutting out your sweet behind. Wanting him harder, wanting all three of his long digits pressed as far into as they can go. It feels almost like a punishment…
You think you might like that, too.
“Silly girl” He chastises as he plays your body like a flute “I’ll always want you”

The week passes by, although you truly wish it wouldn't- and slowly the rains start to clear. The storms fading into something docile, rainbows glittering as they catch on the many little windchimes you’d hung at the entrance of your home.
You and Neteyam don't leave the Mauri once. Completely enthralled with one and other. Intertwined too deeply to move far from the bed mat. He keeps you fed, cleaned and hydrated. Tends to any and all of your needs. Makes sure your greedy body is satiated-
“Ma Nete” you whine from your place among the blankets. The pout on your face is endearing, dramatic as anything though. "Don't go"
The two of you hadn't broken Tsaheylu in days. You could survive the separated bond for ten minutes.
“I have to go get more fresh water. We ran out last night- don’t look at me like that! I’ll be right back!” He’s refastening the leather straps of his tweng. He just has to go as far as the center of the village, to the well.
You’re not having it. You have no idea how he had wrestled his way out of your arms, but this wouldn't do. There we’re still women in the throws of Fertility Season. You could hear the caterwauling. He couldn't just go out there with all of his muscles-
“But paskalin(honey). We can go get water later. Together” you protest and he shakes his head, grabbing the water pail next to the fire pit.
“Or I can go get it now and get it over with” he sniggers, making a move for the doorway. He’s reaching for the flap, reading himself to leave.
When your pitiful moan rings through the air.
He should be strong, should be a dutiful mate. Needs to clear his head enough that he can take care of you-
Instead he turns back.
You’re a dirty cheat, he’s learned that fact during the last week. A sore loser. A little brat who couldn't take no for an answer. He’d spend the rest of his days spoiling you rotten and he blames Tonowari for it. He wonders if the older man had ever given you healthy boundaries;
You’d do just about anything to get your way. Resort to nasty tricks that you know he couldn't resist-
This being one of said tricks.
You’re on your hands and knees, your spine a perfect arch as you raise your ass into the air, and keep your head and shoulders pressed into the bedding. Your thighs parted wide as you reach back, tugging on your cheeks.
Presenting beautifully for him. The perfect picture of submission.
Your still wet holes wink at him hypnotically. Luring him back like a fish on a hook.
His Adam’s Apple bobs as he swallows, hard. Feet rooted in place as he battles with himself.
“Y/N…” He warns, even though he knows it’s futile. He can't resist you like this.
Can't resist you at all.
“Come taste” you purr, wiggling your hips as your delicate fingers trace the furl of your sphincter. “Tastes so good, huh, paskalin? It's cause I'm full of your cum. We taste so nice combined”
Neteyam groans, deep and gutted, and the pail clatters to the floor.
He dives back in, face first.
Not at all ashamed over the fact that his previously unswayable sense of duty deems to dissipate when it comes to you and your demands.

The village is coming back to life. Couples rejoining the world after their week spent intimately tucked away. Slowly but surely Awa’atlu will return back to it’s everyday routine.
Jake maneuvers the walkways, smiling at people he passes. It had been much like this, in the forest. Fertility Season had been something he’d definitely had to get used to, a culture shock to the extreme, but once he realized how important it was to the Na’vi he’d got with the program pretty damn fast.
It's a sacred ritual, Neytiri had explained to him the first time he’d participated in the ritual. He had spent the week trying to keep up with his mate, completely surprised by the tantric, communal, act of sex.
It’s vital for their population, Norm and Max elucidated. They needed to have these seasons so that their tribes can stay afloat. If they don't, there weren't be enough babies born.
Whatever the true cause, it was an experience for sure. Back home in the forest as the Omiticayan Olo’eyktan, he’d been much more hands on. Running around like a chicken with his head cut off for weeks before the event. Organizing the hunt, making sure the coupling Na’vi were taken care of. Keeping the entire clan afloat.
It had been different this year, as most things we’re since the big move to the coast.
This year he was just another Metkayina clans member. He and his mate still had children under their care and didn't feel the lure of the heat as intensely. He wondered if after Tuk came of age, would Neytiri want to go back to being active participants?-
They Sully’s had been of service where they could, picking up any slack. Helping with odd jobs. Kiri had been a great help to Ronal, her quick healing hands had come in handy to the heavily pregnant Tsahik. Tuk beaded bracelets and delivered them, along with little prayers, to everyone's doorsteps. Neytiri had become quite the fisherman in her time on the Island and made sure to double up on her hunts, less anyone need a meal. Even Lo’ak had pitched in, an aid when needed. The kid bitched about it the whole time, but Jake had reminded him that it would be him in the mating couples’ place soon. Lo’ak had rolled his eyes and shrugged his dad off. Jake didn't miss the way his youngest son shot a very busy Tsireya a lingering look.
There was one very big presence missing though.
His eldest son had always been his right hand man, and especially during busy times of the year such as this, Neteyam was the always biggest help. Running around almost as much as Jake, taking on any and all responsibility. Completing even the most minute of errands.
Another change this year. His eldest had finally chosen a mate. And had been locked away in his own Mauri for the past week. Participating in Fertility Season for his first time.
It's why Jake was sent on this little task. Neytiri had filled a large woven basket with more food. Pitchers of well water, replacements of medicinal herbs.
“Isn't this a little much? We just got them all stocked up-”
Jake hadn't even bothered to finish his sentence, cut off by his wife’s withering glare. He’d just taken the basket and promised to deliver it safely.
He adores that she’s such a good mother to their children, he’d lacked that back on Earth. Him and Tommy had all but raised themselves. But did she have to be such a…hover mom? Neteyam had made it clear that he wanted some space to mate with Y/N. Private from his bustling family.
Jake couldn't deny that he’d missed his boy. Was a bit worried about him. Neteyam been so against mating back in the forest, rejected any and all proposals. Fertility Season could be…alot, to say the least. A marathon that even the most experienced had trouble running. Jake wasn't ashamed to say that he’d fainted his first time. Neytiri had almost killed him.
He’ll just check in quickly. Drop off the goods. Make sure no one is unconscious. It’ll be fine, most everyone has come out from the haze of the Season anyway. The two of you we’re probably just recovering from the week. Cleaning up-
As he reaches the Mauri, he realizes how wrong he was.
Your moans can be heard through the walls. Syrupy and raspy, you sound worn out. Yet nowhere near stopping.
“Neteyam- ugh-right there. Right there”
Jakes ears flatten against his head and his eyes go comically wide.
“Take it, Y/N. Fuck-”
Jake abandons the basket by the door and hightails it the fuck out of there before he hears anymore. Na’vi are different about sexuality. Far more open. There’s no stigma or shame, just love and acceptance. He’d grown to appreciate it during his years on Pandora.
That being said, Jake had no desire to hear his eldest son fucking his mate. Grown man or not. Call it the tawtute in him.
He’s still a little mortified, even when he makes it back to his own Mauri. Neytiri is sat by the firepit, slow roasting a recent catch. His other kids are nowhere to be found.
“What is it?” she questions as he plops down. Her husband looks a bit shell shocked.
Jake takes a beat, before turning to her. A peculiar look on his face “I’m pretty sure we’re going to be grandparents soon. Like, very soon. Like as soon as possible”
Ah. Her husband and his earthly modesty.
She can't help but laugh at it. After all these years, he still was so easy to fluster. Her sister and Tsu’tey had spent their first Fertility Season under the same roof as the rest of the family. It wasn't odd, or frowned upon.
A part of her wishes Neteyam had done the same so that she could take better care of him and Y/N.
“If the Great Mother wills it, yes” She pats his five fingered hand encouragingly.
“There is no way that girl isn't pregnant right now. Don't you think I’m too young to be a grandpa?”
“No. You are very old now, my love. Look at all of that gray in your hair” Neytiri jests, pointing out the silvery webbing that had started to sprout from Jakes dreads.
“Skxawng!” He swats at her and the two of them break into giggles as he takes out his knife and starts to cut the vegetables, helps her prepare dinner.
After all of the years, their rapport is easy. They move in harmony. She is very excited that her eldest son has finally found someone to build with. He had been so picky, she was worried he might end up an eternal bachelor, forever fated to take care of his siblings.
Neteyam deserved so much more than that.
“I miss having a prrnen(baby) around. Tuk has grown so fast. My time to birth children has come and gone, I am ready for grandchildren. Though I wish they could be raised in the forest” Neytiri shoots her husband a look “They will need us to guide them through it. To protect them. Family is our fortress, that is what you say. Our family is growing, Ma Jake”
Neytiri had been younger than her son is now when she birthed him.
She had no doubts that he was capable of raising a family. He’d helped them raise theirs. Always more of a parental figure than a sibling. She’s factual as she reminds her husband. He’ll be a fun grandpa, he decides. Paw Paw.
He gets a blank confused stare in response. Tuk comes running in, talking a mile a minute, before Neytiri can question Jake about what a “pah-pah” is.
Neytiri prays to the great mother before she goes to sleep that night. For healthy pregnancies and easy deliveries. For her eldest son and his mate’s happiness.
That Fertility Season had been good to them.

Welp, welp, welppppp. I finally finished it. I want you guys to know how hard it was to get this finished. The amount of WIPS that sit unfinished in my drafts is actually sad.
But this story feels special. The response I have gotten to it has made me happier than I can express.
I'm so grateful to be a part of this fandom. Really. Pandora is such a fin world to escape into and play in and the fact that you guys enjoy reading what I consider self therapy is fucking amazing.
Next chapter will be full of pregnancy and pregnancy talk!!! If that’s triggering at all please just be aware that it’s coming and you can skip it if you’d like.
Also thinking about who’s POV we want to see next. Lo’ak’s maybe?
Again I want to remind you that I write what I want to read. I know that Na’vi don’t really have beds or blankets buttttt- I want them to.
Is there rice on Pandora? I’m not sure. My readers gonna eat some rice though.
Was it necessary for Neteyam to bite the shit out of her to seal the deal? Yup. Cause I wanted him to.
Part Four should be out in the next couple weeks. Thanks for being patient with me!
The taglist for this story is closed buttttt I am really good at linking my posts so just keep an eye on my page/Masterlist for updates!
Til next time babies.
Leave me all the good comments- you may get a teaser faster if you do lol

Mate- Neteyam x Fem Reader
content: nsfw/smut ,p in v, slight fingering (f receiving), male & female orgasm, aged up 18+
Tumblr media
“Neteyam where are you taking me!”
He only laughed at you as he pulled you through the forest. You heaved a breath as you ran with him, almost tripping at the pace your going.
You looked around seeing atokirina’s sprouting around you, some even connecting slightly bouncing off of your skin as your ran with Neteyam. You smiled looking at the them float around as you get dragged away from them.
He stopped the two of you causing you to semi crash into his shoulders. You groaned rubbing at your nose. You looked around the two of you to see where you ended up at. You don’t recognize this place at all.
“What is this place?”
“Tree of Souls”
Neteyam says looking over at you as you made your way up to the large tree, the tendrils raking over your shoulders, the purple gleam reflecting off your blue skin. Neteyam followed beside you not leaving his graze from your figure, watching your hips sway as they walked, your arms extending to touch the center of the tree. Watching your eyes close feeling the senses of the tree go to you.
Neteyam couldn’t keep his eyes off of you. You where an angel to him that he never wanted to take his eyes off of. It wasn’t just your physical features that had him down bad for you it was the fact how tough and strong you where for being just a soft and kind person to people of Pandora and specially to him. He admired that from you. He loved how caring and how protective you can be beside him. For your features he loved how your nose scrunched as your laughed at his jokes, your sharp teeth flashed as you smiled at him.
You have this boy begging on his knees for you.
Your fingers spread apart as you let go from the tree, looking over at him with that smile he absolutely adored.
“Come here and sit”
Neteyam motioned you over to the spot in front of him. He looks up at the tree, watching how how it’s tendrils sway slowly back and forth.
“I use to love going here as a child with my mother. She’d tell me this was the place to have your prayers listened and sometimes answered”
He stated, his eyes glistening, atokirina’s swarming around the both of you, making you chuckle as one bounces off of Neteyam’s nose. His eyes looking back down as he heard your laugh, blushing.
He took one of the tendrils from the tree in his hand and connected it with his queue making tsaheylu, his black pupils growing once he’s connected, he sighs looking back over to you seeing as you follow what he’s doing. A small gasp left your lips as you connected your queue to the tree you felt somewhat tingly inside as you connected as one with the tree. You could hear chants and songs raiding off from the tree in your mindset. Your ears dropping in concentration, listening deeply more, peeking as the chants get somewhat louder like they where calling you to them.
“Oh my gosh”
He chuckled at your facial expressions you where making and how confused you where trying something that your not use to feeling, as it was your first time. He turned his body to face yours as you unconnected your queue from the tendril, scanning your eyes to Neteyams face, his face full with a kind of lust, as he spoke again.
“My mother has said since I’m truly part of the people now, I can make my decision to choose a women to mate with. To spend my life with and bare by children to, a women who’ll stand by my side”
He moved closer to you. His only thoughts right now are you being that women he mates with.
You don’t get the hint really, since this whole being someone’s mate thing was a blur to you. You haven’t really thought about having to be mated with someone anytime sooner. In your head you hoped he’d chosen you to be his future mate, since your eyes would only see him by your side but at the same time this women talk is making you think he’s thinking about another woman to ask. His body language and how he looks at you makes you differ about that conclusion, plus he literally took you to a place where the na’vi’s come to mate, so how is that not more obvious he might have those feelings about you as you felt about him.
Your ear flattened over thinking your thoughts.
“And I’ve already chosen…… but this women has to choose me to”
You reach your hand and place it on his shoulder, softly smiling at him, your lips glancing over his lips and back up to his eyes.
“She already has”
You say as you leave no space between the two of you, kissing him softly, the kiss turning rough as Neteyam tries and deepens the kiss. His hands roam the sides of your waist, pulling you onto his lap to straddle him, his index fingers gliding to your lower back. He breaks the kiss to grab his queue, earning a shocked look from you. You take yours out, he slowly starts to connect his with yours already making the big decision to be connected with you, but you pull yours away, making him look at you concerned ‘did your thoughts change?’ You had a weird expression on your face he couldn’t place and he was hoping you weren’t going to change your mind as when you kissed him, it made him feel like you wanted the same as he did.
“Neteyam, are you sure I’m the one you want to be mated with, I mean, there are other women you can choose from…”
He looked at you in disbelief. He took his hand and placed in on your cheek pulling you into a kiss. He let go and looked deep into your eyes, looking as your expression softened.
“I’m very sure of it, I’ve loved you since we where both young na’vi’s, and I want you to be the one that carry’s my children, and stands by me. I’ve thought about this for a long time till it was the time I had to make my mind of choosing a women. (your name) your the one I’ve chosen and only you…”
You smile at him lovingly as you grabbed your queue and held it out for him to connects his to your. He puts his queue against yours to make them interlock into one, making the both of you gasp as you felt on another’s emotions, thoughts, and love as you kissed one another, your lips interlocking as they where made for each other.
Neteyams hands gripping at your waist to to grind against him, your hands wrapping around his neck. Your breasts pressed up against his chest. He whimpers at your bold move, pulling at his hair, he arch’s his now forming bulge up more against you. You grin as you can feel him.
“Feels like someone’s getting needy”
You giggle as he huffed. You slither your hand down to his bulge now rubbing him through the fabric covering him. He leans his forehead against yours giving you a look of ‘please do more to me’.
Your free his hardened dick out of his loincloth. You look at his penis, his tip was a light soft pink blue, his shaft a light blue having soft visible strips like how he has on his skin. You look up into his golden yellow eyes as your eye brows knit together making sure he’s alright with you touching him.
“Touch me (your name)…”
He whimpers out to you daring not to look you in the eyes as you use your thumb to trace up the slit of his tip, causing a shaky moan from the boy. Pre-cum leaking lightly from the tip, you slowly pump his member in your hand. He grips the back of your inner thigh, trying to hold his composure as your fucking him with your hand. Your speed stays mild as you glance at how his half lidded eyes watch your hand pumping up and down against his dick.
“Faster (your name)…..faster….“
You quicken your pace, your vagina getting wet. His left hand gripping apart your ass cheek as rakes up to your clothed vagina with the other hand feeling just how wet you are, he starts softly rubs your clit through your loincloth, as you pump his dick. His finger pushes the cloth aside, putting index finger against your cunt, your wetness coding his finger as he rakes it back and forth against you.
Your clit pulses as he feels pleasurable waves hitting it as he starts rubbing his fingers into you. Your eyes close, pumping Neteyams dick slowly, feeling your legs weaken and tighten. His middle finger now enters your slick walls, making your gasp on how rough he slid it in.
“Neteyam….. I’m making you feel good right now”
His dick started to twitch as he heard those sweet low moans come from that pretty mouth of yours wanting to hear more of them. He added another finger into you, your eyes widen a bit as he then hooks his finger against your walls making your vagina tighten around his finger, making Neteyam chuckle at your now pleasured body, your hand still pumping up and down against his dick. He starts rubbing your clit with his thumb, making you grip his shoulder with your free hand. His hand gripping the back of your thigh pulling your lips of your vagina apart more, a small gust of cold wind hitting your hot pussy.
You wasted no time of letting go of his dick to push him down on the ground. His fingers slipping out of you. You made Neteyam let out a grunt as he fell onto the floor looking up at you as he watches your hand grab around him, giving him a few small pumps before sliding him into your wetness. His dick stretches your vagina causing a loud gasp come from your mouth.
Neteyam moaning at the pleasure he feels from your insides. He’s breath hitched as he watches as you bounce on top of him, your hands on his chest to keep you steady, watching how your breast would move at how quick your riding would get.
Your head slightly drooping down. Neteyams hands grips at your thighs as he moans out your name, telling you your doing such a good job riding his dick, how pretty your look bouncing up and down on him.
Moans, wet kisses and sex aroma clouds the two of you, you and Neteyam feeling pleasure from each other like never before. His hands roaming up to your breasts foundling them as he curses small hold-back moans in his voice.
“(your name)…..I feel like I’m going to cum…”
Neteyams lets out a quaky moan as you go faster. He grabs you to pull you up into a face off position, where he can watch you cum for him. You place your arms around his neck as you continue riding. Neteyam moans out as he reaches his high, feeling sensitive from you keep riding him until you meet yours going slower and faster. He takes a notice of how sloppy your hips are bucking against him as you try to get to your reaching orgasm. He reaches down to give you more, rubbing his thumb up against your clit, giving you an extra feel good sensation. Your head tilts back from the extra pleasure forming, your moans filling the surroundings.
Neteyam looks at you his eyes focusing on how your beautiful face expressions, your mouth gaped, and your eyes closed with your eyebrows knitted together. He watches as your nose crinkles up as you reach your climax with your head slightly drooping forward, your clit throbbing and vagina walls clenching against Neteyams dick, your hips still slowly grinding on him finishing yourself off. You sigh lifting your head up to look at your mates face, both of you sweaty and hot from sex, resting against together and whispering sweet nothing to each other, especially Neteyam.
He grabs your face from his neck, looking into your lustful eyes.
“I see you”
He states, smiling at you lovingly as you reach and caress his cheek with the palm of your hand
“I see you, my Neteyam”

Author’s note: I thought of spicing things up a bit, they will be more conflict later but not too hard because I am rooting for Neteyam and Y/n. Also comment some ideas for the next part, idk how long this series will turn out, but I'd like to see what you guys want to see next. I hope I’m not moving too fast, I just really love where this is going. I also forgot to add the masterlist on the other fics, I’ll be sure to add the link.
P.s. I apologies for late tagging people on my taglist, its my first time doing a taglist and I go back to my other posts and check the comments to see if anyone else would want to be tag. Also for some reason some of the people I tag won’t pop up, sorry :(

Neytiri knew something, she knew that her eldest son had began to catch feelings for someone. The thing is she had no idea who her son was falling head over heels for. She wanted to know who it was and find out fast because the curiosity would consume her, if he ended up lying to her, she would not be happy than she already isn’t. Neytiri was still mad that she had to leave her home, it still irked her that her family will now have to live differently then what they were used to in the forest.
She wanted to keep a close eye on him but she would be invading his privacy, her mate was already hard on their kids, she didn’t want to be that kind of mother, but if it was for the sake of her children, so be it. Neytiri will give Neteyam some space, allowing him to tell her when he is ready.
Even after that talk with her mate, Ronal was still worried, she feared that her child may be taken away from her from an unworthy mate. She wanted her child to be happy but with the right person. It was hard enough that y/n could not mate before eywa light rest of the people due to her being different. Ronal did not like to call her child a human, humans were demons that destroy beautiful things for their own benefit.
Y/n was strong, yes she may not be a na’vi but she is a strong girl who deserves to be a Tsahik in the future, but she knew that the responsibility will lay on Tsireya due to being the oldest. She hopes in finding out who this person was sooner rather than later, before it is to late. Every time Ronal looks at Y/n, she sees her as a baby she once held for the first time, her small body covered in red, her baby. Ronal would do anything in her power to keep her baby happy.
You had finished getting ready for the day, instead of going for swim, you decided to go practice with your spear. You wore a top that was made of rope, seaweed and some pearls that hanged. For the bottom you wore a small skirt around your hips made out of light and dark net, you tide a cloth under you to cover your intimate parts. You tied your hair up to keep it out of the way, when you were using your weapon.
When done you left to the beach, the day had been going smoothly. Some kinds were running around playing in the water, the fishermen had come back from the ocean with fish, everything was normal. You stopped in a small spot that was bit farther away from the beach, it was like a training ground of yours and your father’s. You both would come here to practice on how you could use a spear. On your thirteenth birthday he gifted you the spear he made for you. You loved it very much, you didn’t allow anyone to touch, the people who could touch it was Tsireya, your mother and father. You didn’t trust your brother with your spear, he’d probably break it or something.
You were throwing your spear as hard as you could, you wanted to go farther than you already were. Your father has taught you how to use a spear from a young age, due to it you had got some muscle, you wish you were more muscular like him. Also not to mention what you can do with a blade, when your mother found out that your father gave you a blade at a small age, she nearly popped a blood vessel. Ronal was very protective of you, she feared that anything could harm you due to not being a na’vi. Tonowari had a talk with her about you learning how to fight and such, he knew that one day they will not always be their to protect you, he wanted you to be a warrior and to fend for yourself when they were no longer around.
After what felt like a while, you managed to throw the spear farther away hitting a palm tree near by. You began jumping of joy, you finally manage to do it. “Good shot” you stopped to turn, seeing the oldest forest boy. You felt your face feel a bit warm. “Oh, thank you, I didn’t know you were here” you said as you walked over to the palm tree to get your spear. Neteyam walked closer, just incase you need help with pulling out your spear.
You got a good grip on your spear and pulled hard enough, taking the spear out the palm tree. Neteyam watched as his mouth dropped, you were strong, of course you were, you’re the daughter of the Olo'eyktan. You smiled at him seeing his face. “What?” you giggled which made him change his face real quick. “Oh! Nothing, you’re just... really strong” he said shyly looking away as he rubbed the back of his neck. You smiled at him “well, you can thank my father for that” you said walking back to your spot having him follow. “Would you like to try?” you asked making him nod, no questions asked.
You had been showing Neteyam how hold the spear properly, you didn’t mind having to position his arms the right way, you loved being close to him. Neteyam was trying to do what he was told but he was distracted by you, how close you were. When you’d instruct him how to properly hold it and positioned him, he felt butterflies in his stomach, he also couldn’t help but look at you, you were just so beautiful. “You ready?” You asked as he then snapped out of his trance and nodded. “Okay, now throw it as fast as you can” he did as he was told. The spear landed on the sand, a couple feet away from the palm tree.
“Nice shot, soon you’ll be able to master a spear, you’ll be a...pro?” you said a bit confused, trying to use the word he used the other day. Neteyam chuckled seeing that were tying to use the word. “I’m not as good as you” he mentioned making you smile at up at him. You got a good look at his features again, you loved seeing him, you wouldn’t mind staring into his eyes for the rest of your life.
You then walked over to were your spear was breaking the trance you had on him. “Have you gone to your lessons today?” you asked retrieving your spear. Neteyam shook his head “no, not yet, shall we go?” he asked as you nodded, walking over back to him and leaving together to where the rest of the teens were.
As you both walked towards the small group, you heard a deep voice call out to you. “Y/n” you turned to see who it was, it was your father. “Coming!” You shouted back, turning to look at Neteyam “you go, I’ll catch up.” You said towards the tall na’vi in which he nodded and left towards the group, you walked over to your father, spear in hand “yes father?” you said looking up at the gentle giant. “Come, lets go for a ride, we haven’t gone in a while” you nodded, following him.
You both approached to his skimswim, Tonowari got on first then he helped you hop on, you sat in front of him holding tightly onto your spear and held onto the handle of the saddle. Then you both took off, the ride was silent but you like having a moment like this with your father. He’s a scary looking giant but he was gentle at the same time, you’d referred to him as a gentle giant a couple times since you were smaller. The skimswim dived underwater, taking you both down with it. It made you smile, since that the creature felt playful today. Your father looked down at you smile, making his chest warm up seeing his child happy.
It reminded him when you were a child, the first time you were scared of the creature but you warmed up to it. Since then your father would take you on rides with his creature. When you went back up to the surface for a breath, you laughed “that was fun” you said petting the skimswim, making the creature wag its tale for being praised. Tonowari then asked “so, tell me, what are your thoughts on the Sullys?” he asked as you looked up at him. “They seem very nice, well, Neytiri is a bit scary like mother... don’t tell here I said that!” you playful warned your father making laughing at you. “I won’t” he said. “But, Neteyam, he is really nice to me, well all the sully kids are nice to me including Jake, but he is the sweetest.”
You said feeling your face heat up, your father noticed this, he knew that look very well. He had that same look when he began to catch feelings for his now Mate Ronal. He hummed then talked “y/n? If that boy makes you happy, don’t let him go” he said catching you off guard. “Hm? what do you mean?” you asked a bit confused. “I know that look, you have the same look when someone is interested in another, I was young once too.”  Now you understood, he was referring to your feelings towards Neteyam.
“You approve of him?” You asked curiously, he smiled down at you “just a bit, he still has to prove himself though, so far he is doing a great job” he said, this made you happy, seeing that your father seems to be approving of Neteyam. “Thank you father” you said smiling at him, he pulled you into a hug, in which you hugged him back gladly.
Neteyam was wondering where you were, the lesson was over, he was worried that you had got into trouble. Then he saw you with your father on his Skimswim approaching, he saw that you father told you something before you got off and swam towards the group, then he saw your father take off. “We were wondering where you were” your brother said as you finally reached them. “I was with father that’s all” you said.
“Well, the lesson of today is over, so everyone is just going to do whatever” Lo’kak chimed in, giving his brother a look, making Neteyam glare at him. “That’s alright, you guys have a great teacher” you said refuring to your sister. “What about me Y/n?” Ao’nung asked giving you a look, in which you pretended to think for a moment “you’re alright” you said making the group laugh, in which your brother let out a dramatic gasp. “My own sister thinks I am alright? How outrages” he said chuckling.
Everyone swam back to shore, going their separate ways. Only leaving you and Neteyam, it was silent until you spoke “so, do you want to do anything?” You asked looking up at him. You noticed how he had a little smile on his lips “I mean, I did promise you a ride on my banshee” you got excited now “shall we do that?!” You asked, and he responded “if that’s what you want, then yes, lets do it” he said as he took your hand, now taking you were his banshee was.
When you got to where is beast was, you were nervous, you had never seen such a beast. “Don’t look at him in the eyes” Neteyam warmed you, in which you looked away from the beasts face, not looking at its wings. They reminded you of a skimswim but instead of being in the water, they were from the sky. Neteyam got close to his beast, petting him and calming him down. “Want to pet him?” he asked as you nodded, walking closer towards him, he took your small hand and placed it on the beasts head. You softly pet him, feeling him purr under your touch. “Wow” you said fascinated by the beast. “Cool right?” Neteyam asked as you nodded while still petting the beast.
Neteyam got on his banshee and latched into him using his queue, then he turned to you and helped you up onto the banshee. He placed you in front of him and guided your hands to hold into the settle. “Ready?” he asked as you turned to look up at him “I was born ready” you said, Neteyam then gave the cue to his banshee, then the beast took off onto the sky.
You held tightly onto the handle and closed your eyes, afraid that you may end up falling. Neteyam took a note of this, then he wrapped his free arm around your waist and help you tightly close to him. You felt your face heat up at the feeling of his arm. After a couple minutes, you opened your eyes and looked around. Seeing how high you are in the sky, you felt fascinated seeing how close you were towards the clouds and near the blue sky.
When you looked down, you saw how small the village looked smaller, the air felt good going through your hair, it felt as good as when you go swimming. You slowly let go of the handle then stock your arms out on both sides, wanting to feel more of the wind. Neteyam was confused at first but he saw how relaxed you were, he still held onto your waist keeping you safe while his other one held onto the banshee.
You didn’t even notice the time, it was going to be dark soon, the sun was setting. You had landed on a small mountain near the village, seeing the sun set. It was beautiful, even better with the person you were with. “I had fun today” you said looking at Neteyam who had a smile on his face. “I am glad” he said looking down at your small face, he just loved looking at you, he could just stare at you all day, forever if he could. He had a feeling that he needed to say, if he didn’t say it he’ll probably regret it later.
“Y/n, I have been meaning to tell you something” Neteyam said shyly, now your face turned into one of curiosity. “What is Neteyam?” you asked as you felt his lard hands taking yours into his. “For the last few days, I’ve been having feelings, feelings I’ve never felt before, ever.” He took a deep breath, he felt like a fish out of water now, getting nervous. “Whenever I look at you, I feel like, I am at home” he said, his words made your face feel hot. “I see you y/n” he finally said it, he felt the weight on his shoulders fade, but he felt like his stomach drop, fearing rejection by the one who he wishes is his mate.
Your face felt even more heated, he saw you, Neteyam Sully saw you like you saw him. Still a bit in shock at his confession, you broke into a smile. Squeezing his hand lightly and spoke back to him. “And I see you Neteyam, the moment I first set my eyes on you, I see you” you said seeing his face turn into one of relief. “May I...kiss you?” He asked shyly looking down at your small hands. You smiled at his shyness, softly lifting his head “Of course, Ma Neteyam” You said softly locking eyes with his.
Neteyam leaned down, placing both his large hands on your small face. You came closer towards him, closing your eyes, feelings his warm lips touching your cold ones. This felt nice, this felt right, you placed your smaller hands on his large ones that held your face. You stayed like that for a bit before slowly pulling away from him and looked into his sun colored eyes. Then he whispered only for you to hear.
“Ma Y/n”

Mating season day 1
Neteyam x fem reader
Warning: MDNI, smut, aftercare
Synopsis: Neteyam takes care of you.
Grunting as his hips deliver sloppy trusts to your overstimulated cunt, Neteyam groans loudly, stilling his hips as he spills his load inside you.
Moaning at the feeling of his hot cum flooding your insides. Clenching around his softening and now sensitive cock, you pull him closer he moans into your mouth and his hips jolt, causing you to gasp then chuckle.
“Oh ma Y/n, you’re amazing.” Neteyam pants trying to catch his breath, positioning himself on his arms looking down to you, laying soft pecks on your face.
“Mmm thank you my nete, but it is you who is amazing.” Smiling up at him.
Kissing your lips softly he pulls out gently, both of you making a small humming sound through your kiss. He pulls away, his eyes filled with love, he says “we’re amazing together ma muntxate.”
His hand placed on your head, thumb slightly brushing your forehead, his eyes gaze at you with adoration “Neteyam.. I love you.”
He snickers and kisses your nose “I love you Y/n.”
You stare at his toned ass when he gets up to fetch a damp rag and a bowl of water. Walking back over to you setting the water down, he spreads your legs and cleans you with the rag.“how are you feeling? Was I too rough?” you shake your head “no Neteyam you were perfect, I feel great.” He rubs your leg as he finishes cleaning you, throwing the rag mindlessly when he is done. Picking up the water with his large calloused hands, you sit up while he tips it into your mouth. Pulling away and laying back down once you’ve had enough. “Thank you.” You sigh exhaustion taking over you.
He sets the water down and lays next to you pulling you closer. Both of you still nude and falling more and more tired, but before sleep overcomes you Neteyam reaches for his braid bringing it between the two of you, he asks for your permission “can we ma muntxate?” Your eyes flutter open to see what he is taking about. You agree immediately needing to feel the bond of your love for each other. “Of course.” You breathed out.
He grabs your braid and makes the bond, light gasps coming out both your mouth. “I see you” both you say simultaneously, connecting your lips into a passionate kiss before falling asleep embracing each other with your kurus intertwined between your body’s.
A/N I am taking request if you comment them I’ll get to it as soon as possible.

NETEYAM X OMATACAYA FEM! READER
Tumblr media
A/n: I'm sorry if this isn't really accurate to the scene in the movie I don't remember this scene very well.
Also I'm sorry again I hadn't been really writing I just hadn't been really in the writing spirit.
Warnings: cursing, violence, joking flirting, NO SMUT.
I was with Kiri as we were both in the water. I understood Kiri, as we were both somehow connected to Eywa in a different way than the clan would understand.
Neteyam and Lo'ak were doing something as I decided to spend my time with Kiri. We're still adjusting to the new lifestyle as we were meant for the forest.
"Look." I signed to Kiri, as I saw there was a hermit crab moving in the water.
"It's beautiful." Kiri signed back to me.
"Oh, look, it's the freak with her freak friend." I saw the hurt look on Kiri's face, as I quickly got up from the shallow water.
"Can we help you?" I asked, glaring at An'oung and Rotxo and their friends.
An'oung circled around me and pulled my braid, causing me to hiss and wip around.
"Get your fish hands off me!" I hissed at An'oung's friend.
He looked me up and down and smirked.
"Hey!" I shouted as they tried to take Kiri's fingers.
"Do not touch her! Let her go, you fucker!" I growled, as I pushed Kiri behind me quickly.
"So defensive." Rotxo rolls his eyes with his comment.
"You can not touch her. Keep your fish friends away from her. And from Neytyam and the other Sully's." I could feel Kiri's hand on my bicep, but I ignored her as she tries to pull me back from them.
An'noung grabbed my tail, and I hissed in pain.
"Y/n!" I heard Neteyam from the distance, as I went to rush after him and threw myself into his arms.
"Ma y/n." He place his fingers on my face to examine any injuries.
"I am fine, go. They won't stop antagonizing us." I whisper, I was standing behind Neteyam as he held his arm behind me in protection.
"I thought I told you to stay away from my sister and my mate." My tail flicked when he called me his mate.
An'oung just laughed along with his friends.
"You should go away! You are not going to survive in the waters, not even your precious mate." I was about to go after him only to be stopped by the hand on my wrist.
"No." Neteyam said, as I let out a sound of annoyance.
"If you touch her again, you will pay for this." Neteyam threatened.
"Pay? Is that a threat?" An'oung taunts.
"Promise." I shimmied closer to Neteyam as I rested my chin on his shoulder as I wrapped a hand around his waist from behind.
"C'mon. They're not worth it." I cringed even though I have wanted to fight An'oung since we came here.
"Yea, take your freak, Mate, and your freak sister off of our island!" This caused an uproar, as Neteyam was the first to punch An'oung.
Lo'ak came to join his brother as they fought the boys.
"Y/n!" Kiri shouted for me, but I couldn't let my mate get into trouble alone.
"You fucker!" I hissed when they pulled onto my braid again.
"Let go of her hair!" Lo'ak hissed, jumping on Rotxo to punch him in the face.
"What the hell is going on?" I heard an angry Jake and Tonowari.
"You three, with me. Now!" I flinched at Jake's voice as Neteyam grabbed onto my hand.
"What have I told you since we got here?" Jake asked, as he paced the Moraui.
"Not to get into trouble." The four of us say together.
"But sir, there was great reason. They kept calling my future mate a freak. They kept harassing her and would pull her braid." I shuffled closer to Neteyam as I looked down.
"Is this true, y/n?" I heard Ronal asked, as she was Tsahik.
"Yes. They have been doing this to me for a while. I fear your son." I admitted, not looking into the woman's eyes.
"You skxawng! You are a dishonor to the family!" Tonowari shouted, angry at his older son for how he has treated our family.
"We told you to teach this family our ways. We did not say you should hurt another's mate!" Ronal finished, she was just as angry as Tonowari.
"I didn't mean-" An'oung didn't finish his sentence until they heard me scoff.
"You did too! You come after my family again I will-" I was about to finish my sentence until Neteyam stops me.
"You're dismissed. I will talk to my son and make sure he learns his manors." Tonowari promised.
Ten minutes had past and I was with Neteyam.
"I was fine." I couldn't look at him, as I had to stay angry.
"You were not fine!" He hissed when I accidentally pressed onto the wound.
" 'Teyam, you do not always have to defend my honor." I dabbed a little lighter this time.
I tried not to think about the bubbly feeling in my chest.
"What?" He took my hand away from his lip as I realized I was caught.
"You're biting your lip pretty hard." I hadn't realized that I was biting my lip until I let go. I let out a slight hiss when I felt the metallic taste on my tongue.
"I'm so telling Lo'ak that you're into this!" He was about to run to my best friend until I stopped him.
"I am not attracted to you with a bloody lip!" I pressed, but I could see Neteyam's toothy grin.
"Your face is heating up!" I slapped him hard against his chest.
"You're being mean!" I cried as I felt my heart beat faster.
"Because you are attracted to me." I rolled my eyes.
I was getting annoyed and flustered. I went to get up and walk away, Neteyam called out for me but I do not answer.
I heard his voice getting louder as I knew he was close. He grabbed my wrist in a firm but gentle hold.
"I think it's hot that you find me attracted after a fight." He had his hand on my cheek.
"You protect those that you love. You saved me and Kiri from Ao'nong. I love you. Because you saved us from his harassment. And you look hot with a busted lip." I admitted, he places his lips against mine.
I moan at the metallic taste. My hands found their place in his hair pulling him closer to me.
"I'm still telling Lo'ak." He snickers as I hit him.
"You Skxawng." I hissed, only for him to laugh.

HE LOVES HER EYES WHEN LOVELIGHT LIES,
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lit with a passionate fire. Oh, Mother Eywa. As fine art thou created has he stood stead before the eyes of his own love; his woman. Across the room; the sea of crowd, time has slowed itself for her in taking every sight of Neteyam. Never does it cease in adoration, at last not in lone splendor hung aloft the eve, and staring, with bodies apart, like Pandora’s sleepless glowing flora that illuminates the dots on his body.
Steadfast still, unwavered still. A crescent grows itself on her eyes as her lips curl into a lovely, sweet smile. Oh, Mother Eywa. How could a man exist ever oh so beautiful?
Her fair love rips her bosom, swells in delight when those honey eyes meet hers. His lips fall into a close, not heeding the previous chatter with other warriors; as it grows into the reflection of her mouth. Time has stopped. Many heads around them have stopped moving. Still, her tender-breath keeps her on the ground, whispering to her that this is reality.
A reality where her mighty Neteyam is hers, may as well take his heart; it is already offered in no passing seconds by the man himself. And the gratitude itself, is evident in the deep of those eyes; ever so dreamy, oh so lovely she hangs the star. The smile on Neteyam’s face is enough to cradle her, to tell her: I know, Love. Yet so eloquent, that smile wins your face, the tint that glows on your face, Oh how grateful Neteyam is.
Closing the gap, dividing the sea of people in cheers of festivity, has he found his legs bring their hearts closer without ceasing the connection their souls share in a form of eye contact. His eyes fall in shame, upon the overly-smitten canvas she displays on that gorgeous frame. He knows, Neteyam knows. Pandora itself has bowed down to her feet.
She bestows him a hand on his left chest, laying on his heart. The man has his eyes latch on the fluttering eyelashes that are the roof of those glittering orbs. Ripe lips parting in attempt to voice out every bit of words that left on her throat; she closes that pair of yellow in girlish grace.
“Neteyam.”
His soft yet calloused palm rests on top of hers, claiming the warmth within his hold as if it is his last breath to fight for, to cling on. Soft humming leaves his throat, patiently in a moment of waiting for the next words.
“Love me.” The wind carries her throat, a whisper that is only reserved for his hearing.
“Have I spent a second in my life not doing so?”
To the contrary his mind had drawn as called expectation, the teardrop that falls upon her porcelain skin betrays his brain. Neteyam finds his other hand against her small shoulder, caressing up to her neck, eventually he meets her cheek. Wasted tears slide in between their skin, the lady finds comfort in leaning close in his swallowing hand. “Love me.”
That hand on his chest falls, leaving an emptiness as Neteyam reaches for her embrace, that beautiful face comes into his tender cradling in search of any sign of lonesome, of abandonment; may the burden on his heart be lifted once he sees nothing but love. But love, and just love, on her face.
Neteyam te Suli Tsyeyk’itan. Neteyam te Suli Tsyeyk’itan. Neteyam te Suli Tsyeyk’itan.
A man with splendid achievements and titles that carries his golden name, to the breadth of his noble, he is Neteyam. Adored by many, sought by many, loved by many. Her heart swells in agony; oh, Mother Eywa. What is it like, to live as one breathing in the same air as Neteyam yet not feeling his love? It can not be her, for how she is utterly, lovingly, honestly beholden. He chose her. He sees her.
That Neteyam te Suli Tsyeyk’itan loves her.
Has the beautiful blush, Neteyam savors the sight as her bosom is pressed against his abdomen. Craning her neck in hope to meet her lover’s eyes in such closeness, his much bigger hand eases her nape as another has its way in roaming her hip. He breathes in her scent, floral, pink sweet. He is drunk. “You are beloved to me. I shall say it every night, you are beloved to me.”
Not heeding any stares that might come with prejudice, the couple takes moment in every skinship, huddling close to each other in search of their heart, longing for something that is caged for years under the oath of mating they had not yet sworn upon. Years of difficulties the mankind had shot them, is the blame. To grow the love, the fruition of their heavenly love; those innocent children of theirs need to live in the world not knowing blood and tears.
“Make your love to me, then. I now am ready.”

Smitten: Chapter Five - Gift - Aonung's POV
.
A week seemed to fly for Aonung, everything was actually going great for his relationship with Neteyam. While he did train in the morning, he had to finish his and Lo’ak’s chores before lunch, and he usually spared time before and after dinner for Neteyam. Aonung was trying his absolute hardest to always keep a smile on Neteyam’s face. Late in the evening, he dedicated many hours to creating a gift for his lover.
Aonung wasn’t as good at crafting as his sister was, but the important part was he did it himself. Despite the countless times the pearls fell off their string and he had to redo it, he had poked his fingers several times. Sometimes he was so frustrated he wanted to throw it, but he knew he needed to treat it with care.
Ronal, his mother, was relatively quiet since the outburst, only checking on her son occasionally with a mild disapproving look as she watched him struggle to craft, one day he assumed she got tired of watching him stuck on the same part, she stood over him, casting a glance down, “There is too much weight on the string, you need to double it to make it sturdier otherwise it will not last. Here, like this.” Ronal slipped another string through and pulled on it to show how much stronger it was now.
Aonung could only thank his mother, he was a little shocked, did this mean that she was accepting Neteyam? She must have accepted the idea.
After a week full of long evenings, Aonung had created two pieces for his lover. He looked over them carefully, he looked at them and could see Neteyam in their beauty. Yet, he had gotten second thoughts wondering if these were even good enough for his lover. There was only one person who would be completely honest with him. He placed both gifts in a small box, laying them gently and walking to his mothers room. He knew Ronal would tell him if they were ugly or not good enough for a courting gift.
“I think they are lovely, I am impressed you put such an extreme amount of effort. This..Takes a lot of dedication.. You must really love him..” Ronal spoke, trailing her hand gently over the high quality pearls and sea glass. She may not have approved of Neteyam but she respected Aonung's intentions of courting Neteyam. That was all Aonung could ask for, everything else they could work on.
- - -
Aonung hardly felt nervous, it wasn’t like him. He was usually confident and cool, when he approached Neteyam bullying him those months ago, he never would have thought his crush would have returned his feelings. Let alone, be willing to mate with him. They have known each other for years, he knew how Neteyam was. Neteyam would have probably been happy with some sappy seashell had Aonung said that it reminded him of Neteyam.
But this wasn’t some sappy seashell, this was the real deal, he had spent long nights working hard. Yet suddenly, it all seemed so small and not enough when Neteyam deserved the world.
Aonung tried not to get anxious as he approached the Sully home, he needed to be confident, seeing Jake stand to greet him took him back, he realized he was no longer a kid anymore. He was a grown man now, taller than even Jake Sully.
“Aonung, what brings you here?” Neytiri called out as she approached the two men, she welcomed him inside to take a seat. Neteyam was nowhere to be found at this very moment, it made Aonung more nervous as he stared at the two forest Na’vi’s. Suddenly, he remembered how as an ignorant child he had bullied the Sully kids, he really hoped that didn’t come to bite him.
“Ah yes, I was hoping to speak with both of you and Neteyam but it seems he is not here,” Aonung started, despite internally screaming at himself, he kept a cool composure, imagining Neteyam was right there. “Nonetheless, I wish to court Neteyam. I have been working very hard to become a man worthy of him, he means the world to me, I wish to court him but I would like your approval to do so.” Aonung gained confidence as he spoke, looking between the set of parents. Both parents seemed to be shocked, as if they had no idea he and Neteyam were even a possibility, where did they think Neteyam ran off too at night?
Jake Sully seemed to be staring him up and down, probably wondering if he would even be able to provide for his son. “I will be Olo'eyktan one day, Neteyam is my better half, I do not see a future without him by my side.” Aonung felt the need to sell himself as a worthy mate.
Neytiri was still processing everything, before she started to laugh, Aonung was thankful for that, it really eased the tension that had been forming. “This explains a lot. I was wondering why he had hesitated so much the other day, and now I recall every night he is nowhere to be found.” Neytiri spoke with a knowing-tone. From what Aonung had heard, Neytiri had mated even younger than they were at only 18. So he assumed she knew a thing or two of sneaking around.
The couple exchanged looks with each other, Jake seemed reluctant but Neytiri was clearly in charge, “Absolutely, you have our approval. As long as Neteyam is happy and he chooses you.”
Aonung was relieved, it visibly had shown on his face now that he had the approval of the Sully’s to court Neteyam. “I am relieved, thank you very much, if you’ll excuse me I really need to find Neteyam!” Aonung had bowed his head respectfully and stood from his kneeling position. It took everything for him not to run out of there, he needed to look calm and collected.
“Ronal is going to have a bitch fit,” Aonung could hear Jake say to Neytiri, “Good. She deserves it, she was so against our kids and now look, we are going to be family whether she likes it or not. I could not be more pleased.”
Aonung quickly learned that Neytiri was petty, he was sure Neteyam had gotten that trait from her.
- - -
Aonung had searched all over the reef for Neteyam, it felt like they were playing hide and seek, everywhere he would check it seemed like he just kept missing Neteyam. Neteyam hadn’t even been at dinner, Aonung was starting to get worried when Neteyam hadn’t immediately shown up to their usual spot on the beach.
“Aonung! Aonung!” Neteyam called out running towards him, he looked out of breath like he had been running for a bit, his braids damp as if he had just gotten out of the water not too long ago, Neteyam held something behind his back as he ran. He stumbled as he finally made it to Aonung, he had to take a large pause to catch his breath.
Aonung could tell Neteyam had probably been running for a while considering how out of breath he had been, it had really taken him by surprise to see Neteyam winded.
“I have been looking for you all day!” Aonung complained, reaching to pull his lover into his arms, to which Neteyam held out his arm to keep him at arm's length. “I know, I have been busy today, I can only tell you part of what I am doing- just give me a second to calm my heart rate-” Neteyam laughed, Aonung had never been more confused as to what Neteyam had been doing to be this out of breath.
“What could be more important than your future husband?” Aonung couldn’t help but feel a bit jealous, Neteyam looked at him and rolled his eyes, but there was a playful smile on Neteyam’s lips. “I could give you a long list, or you could close your eyes and stop acting like a jealous baby.” Neteyam pressed a hand to his face, forcing him to close his eyes. Aonung could only huff in response pretending he was annoyed.
“I know you have been busy, and I appreciate everything you have done to make more time for me, so I have decided to create something for you to make everything easier on you.” Neteyam shifted to rest on one knee and grasped Aonung’s hand, placing something in his hand and closing his hand on the object. “Open your eyes,” Neteyam spoke softly, looking up at Aonung with bright eyes.
Aonung was completely surprised, opening his eyes to see Neteyam on his knee, it took him a moment to process what was going on. Neteyam was courting him. Aonung couldn’t help the large smile that overtook his face as he opened his hand to see an armband that Neteyam had created for him, it was braided much like Neteyam’s yet had golden sea glass embedded with it that distinctively reminded him of Neteyam’s eyes.
“Aonung, will you be my mate?” Neteyam asked with a smug grin, of course Neteyam would take courting into his own hands when he felt like Aonung was taking too long. “But what about your parents?” Aonung teased that Neteyam had no idea he had already asked for his hand. “I already asked yours.” Neteyam expressed.
Aonung was at a loss for words, while he had been running around searching for Neteyam and asking his parents, Neteyam had been doing the same thing? Neteyam had asked his mother and father if they could be together, Aonung could only imagine how the whole thing went, it was clear Aonung was processing how the conversation went, he was deep in his thoughts.
“Aonung! Will you be my mate! Do you accept?” Neteyam asked him again, Aonung snapped out of his thoughts and laughed, “Of course I accept,” Aonung knew he was going to accept regardless. They both knew. But it was surreal actually doing this. Aonung slid down to his knees, holding out his arm for Neteyam to place the band on him, “If you couldn’t tell, the gold is so you can always have me with you,” Neteyam explained.
“Really? I had no idea, I thought it was for Kiri or Lo’ak- Too tight!” Aonung had been joking, Neteyam tightened the armband painfully tight to make a point. As if Aonung could ever think of anyone but his lover. Aonung waited for the other to finish before he grabbed his face for a long kiss, he held Neteyam in place for a moment before he slowly shifted to sit down on the sand, pulling Neteyam to straddle his legs and sit on his thighs mid-kiss.
Neteyam easily allowed himself to be moved without them ever pulling away, Aonung swore that Neteyam was getting better with holding his breath. It was Aonung who had pulled away first, reluctantly albeit.
“I love you.. But don’t think you have beaten me because you have courted me first..” Aonung spoke against Neteyam’s lips, planting another heated kiss  on his lips while his hand reached for his box that he had planned on giving Neteyam in the beginning.
Neteyam’s arms were around his neck, hands in his bun, Neteyam had grown more bold whenever their lips locked. Aonung could feel the heat building in their touch. Neteyam was distracted by his kiss, Aonung used this to his advantage to slip on the waist beads he had created for his lover. Neteyam hardly felt them being put on.
Neteyam pulled away from the kiss breathlessly, it was only after he relaxed his posture did he recognize the foreign object, his eyes trailed down towards his waist that was now adorned with some of the prettiest pearls he had ever seen. Neteyam trailed his hand lightly over every piece, the pearls and sea glass followed a pattern of white, yellow, white, blue and so on. Neteyam looked quite pleased with his gift, in the middle lay a sharp tooth of what Neteyam could only assume belonged to an Akula.
“You.. When did you have the time?” Neteyam’s eyes were large and full of wonder as they locked with Aonung’s light blue. Aonung felt proud receiving this reaction, it was worth the wait, “The day after your birthday, we went hunting for the materials, you deserve nothing but the finest.” Aonung  had imagined what Neteyam would look like wearing this countless times, but this was much better.
While it hugged Neteyam’s waist perfectly, it also showed anyone looking that he was taken.
“And to make it?” Neteyam seemed in disbelief, Aonung was sure he was just shocked that Aonung had put so much work into it. “Every night. It was nice because we would hang out beforehand so I always felt motivated after we spent time together to complete it.” Aonung would be lying if he didn’t say he felt smug seeing how flustered Neteyam had gotten.
“I never said I was done, Neteyam.”
Neteyam was still mesmerized by the extravagant piece resting on his waist, “My love- this is enough really, it more than enough,” Neteyam was too flustered to accept anything else from Aonung.
“It would be rude of you to not accept, are my gifts not good enough for you?” Aonung practically purred teasingly in Neteyam’s ear, “N-No, it's not that, It’s just this gift is enough as a courting gift-” Neteyam hadn’t stumbled on his words since Aonung had started praising him.
“It’s not a courting gift though, it is a birthday gift, my love.”
Before Neteyam could oppose, Aonung placed a hand over his mouth and forced it shut while he slipped on a headpiece that had been modeled after Neteyam’s visor, it was much more extravagant than even the waist beads that had been created for him. The piece was clearly for decoration or to show off, the complex design of it showed Neteyam he had taken his time with it.
“Obviously, I know you are a warrior first and foremost, I do not wish for you to think I am undermining this, however I wanted to create something as beautiful as you. I know you cannot wear it for hunting or your chores, but for celebrations or when we marry.” Aonung expressed, his hand tracing over the headpiece that had framed Neteyam’s face, it was delicate just like Neteyam could be whenever they were alone.
It took Neteyam’s breath away to be adorned by pearls and jewels by his lover, he couldn’t see himself but he knew he Aonung must have loved everything he saw. Aonung treated him like he was a strong warrior yet Neteyam knew he could be fragile with him.
“You are worth the whole world, I will make sure you only ever have the best, I vow that to you.” Aonung continued.
“Aonung…” Neteyam started to speak, tears threatening to escape but he blinked them away and took a deep breath, ‘Thank you.. These gifts are lovely, I will treasure them forever. When we mate before Eywa, I will make sure to wear this.” Neteyam promised with a flushed look at the thought of them getting to that actual point.
“Soon, my heart,” Aonung caressed Neteyam’s cheeks, his touches light and gentle as they shared a moment more intimate than sex. The air surrounding them was full of love, passion and vulnerabilities.
Aonung knew he hadn’t always been the best mate, nor was he perfect, but Neteyam made him feel damn near perfect. Aonung could do anything he wanted as long as Neteyam was in his corner.
Aonung admired everything about his lover; the way his braids seemed to bounce everytime he stepped or laughed loudly; the way his thin baby tail seemed to wag excitedly and wrap around his own whenever he complimented his lover. And, he couldn’t forget about how Neteyam’s strong thighs seemed to lock Aonung in every time.
“Nung.. You are staring so hard..” Neteyam’s words snapped Aonung out of the trance he had been in, he had been staring hard at him, “I just love everything about you..” Aonung confessed.
Aonung really was in love, possibly even obsessed with his lover, so he pulled him in for another kiss. His hands gripped Neteyam’s thighs and pulled them around him as they sat on the sand. There was no care now about getting caught, the world would know by sunrise.
Neteyam’s hands traced over Aonung’s arms, squeezing the muscles firmly, as if he was trying to remember each curve. His hands rubbed at his shoulders and traveled to his chest, just exploring all the places he had been too shy to explore during the day or continuing where they seemed to always get interrupted.
Aonung used the hands traveling his body as an invitation for him to return the favor, his hands slid further up from Neteyam’s thighs towards his butt, gripping it softly admiring how it filled his hands nicely. Aonung couldn’t help but notice how Neteyam arched into the squeeze, he noted it mentally as he dragged his hands up his back in a teasing motion that left goosebumps on Neteyam’s skin. Despite their lips being interlocked he could hear a small moan escape Neteyam’s lips, it was practically engulfed in the kiss though.
“I love you..” Neteyam whispered against Aonung’s lips once they pulled away for air. It was intoxicating, they couldn’t get enough of one another, their touches were soft and sensual yet each one left them yearning for more. Aonung’s hands gently grabbed onto Neteyam’s waist as his lips moved down to plant gentle kisses from his jaw down to his neck.
The kisses to his neck left Neteyam practically melting, his arms wrapped tightly around Aonung wanting to be as close as possible. “Ao-Aonung..” Neteyam was left whispering his name, not knowing if he wanted more or just wanted to Aonung to hear how good he felt with each heated kiss pressed to his neck. Aonung couldn’t help but smirk as Neteyam’s thighs tightened around him, their hips pressed together causing only the sweetest friction between them.
Aonung bit gently into his lover’s skin, sucking on the flesh and only pulling away when there was a small hickey left over. Neteyam had tensed as his teeth sunk into him, Aonung could only imagine Neteyam was struggling to hold back the prettiest moans of pleasure.
“You are so perfect… I am so lucky..” Aonung whispered just for Neteyam, slowly moving to lay Neteyam back gently on the sand, Neteyam moved easily with him, resting his back on the sand as Aonung hovered over him. Aonung’s build practically surrounded Neteyam, his curls tickled the crook of Neteyam’s neck as he continued to pepper his neck with soft loving kisses. Neteyam’s hands dragging down his back gently scratching. Neteyam didn’t know where this was leading, but he didn’t want it to stop any time soon.
Aonung pulled away from his neck to admire his lover sprawled out underneath him, his freckles glowing underneath the moonlight, Neteyam beaming up at him with the happiest smile as he pulled him for a slow and sensual kiss. Their hips brushing against one another, sending a pleasurable thrill through their bodies as they clung to one-another. Aonung couldn’t help but release a low groan against his forest boy’s lips.
If Aonung had it his way, he would have taken Neteyam right now. But he didn’t want to ruin everything they had worked so hard for, so with great restraint he pulled away.
Neteyam made a sound of disapproval, it was almost like a whine or a quiet protest, as Aonung had started to pull away. Aonung pressed a kiss to his forehead, “We have the rest of our lives.” Aonung gently reminded his lover. It was difficult, it took great strength to pull himself from ravishing his lover on the beach, but he wanted their first time to be special.
Neteyam looked up at him with dazed golden orbs, his hand traveling down his arm and intertwining their fingers. “I know..Doesn’t change the fact that I want you now too.” Neteyam teased as he brought Aonung’s hand to his mouth and pressed soft kisses to each of his fingers.
It drove Aonung insane, Neteyam knew what he was doing, Aonung had to practically lift him off the sand.
It was time to return home.
- - - -
Aonung’s Iknimaya came shortly after that evening on the beach, once he returned from the trials with his spirit brother he would be a man.
Aonung did not know when he would return, as there was no set date, but he prepared himself mentally to be gone for quite some time.
The great thing was, the whole island knew Aonung and Neteyam had been promised to one-another, it pleased Aonung greatly to see Neteyam bustling around as usual with the beads bouncing around on his waist, he had heard people compliment his lover on it multiple times.
“I never realized how small your waist was- smaller than some women” Aonung would hear, he also heard, “Wow, Aonung is lucky, Neteyam is pretty, if he messes up I wonder if I’ll have a chance”.
They were right, Aonung was lucky.
However, every time he heard those comments or someone even admiring his future mate, he felt the need to just grab Neteyam by his pretty little waist and slam a hard kiss on his lips.
Aonung had only done that once though, it was on his last day before he left for his Iknimaya. A large group of those who were leaving to become men, had gathered together for a last hurrah. There was dancing and food, it was truly a great event.
Neteyam had been talking with many Na’vi to find out what their trials had been like, or the placement of their first tattoo, Neteyam was just trying to find as much information to know what to expect in the future for Aonung.
Aonung knew this, he had no doubt in his mind that everything Neteyam did revolved around him in one way or another, in the best way of course.
“You know it’s not uncommon for some to come back bound and mated, don’t worry Neteyam. If Aonung doesn’t make it back, or if he chooses someone else, I’ll take one for the team so you don’t have to be alone.”
It was supposed to be a joke apparently but it didn’t go down well with Aonung. Neteyam looked visibly uncomfortable by the joke too.
Aonung reacted out of pure jealousy and frustration, sliding behind Neteyam, an arm wrapped around his waist and his hand guiding Neteyam’s face up towards him to plant a firm kiss on his lips. Neteyam had easily complied to the kiss, eyes falling shut as Aonung claimed him as his own in front of the pool of potential bachelors. Aonung’s eyes didn’t shut though, they locked directly on the bearer of the bad joke.
“Don’t worry, Neteyam is good. He needs no other mate. None of you could handle him anyways.” Aonung smirked as he pulled away, it left Neteyam flustered as Aonung led him away from the celebration. “You are.. So jealous..” Neteyam spoke in a hushed tone to his lover, lightly slapping his arm but not really having any complaints.
The night ended, with a kiss goodbye, the couple not knowing an exact day of when they’d see each other again, only that they would see each other once again.
- -
It had been a good month and half before the couple was reunited.
While he had been gone, his parents and Neteyam had moved his stuff to his own place, he had a Marui of his own.
Aonung had returned; he had many stories to tell, a new gift from Eywa (his first tattoo), and a collected seashell from every day that he had been separated from his lover.
The day of his return there was loud whooping and hollering, many people were proud of him, he was the center of attention for the whole day. It was truly a gift and a curse. The gift made him feel important and accomplished, he was a man now, a warrior, someone worthy of his partner who had been considered a man far younger than him.
The curse was, he barely got to even hug his lover, Neteyam looked at him with so much want and yearning but everyone had crowded him wanting to hear his stories and how his spirit brother was doing. It was a lot, and by the end of the evening, he had been absolutely exhausted with a social meter completely drained. He was so tired he instinctively walked into his old home, only realizing that all of his stuff had been moved.
A huff of frustration as he had to walk to the furthest end of the island to get settled into this new foreign home. He looked around and couldn’t help but smile a bit, he could tell Neteyam had been there. There were subtle signs all around, from a little plate with some of the beads from his braids to the plants that had decorated the space. Only Neteyam would elect to take care of plants by the reef. Aonung was sure it was a reminder of the forest.
“You have arrived, I have missed you.” Neteyam called from outside of his new home, Aonung albeit exhausted, practically yanked Neteyam inside and to lay down with him, his arms wrapped tight around his lover. Ignoring the sting from the fresh tattoo burning on his arm.
“Neteyam.. I missed you too, today was so long, I’m sorry we didn’t get to spend much time together..” Aonung closed his eyes, the wave exhaustion rolling over but feeling warm and comfortable once again, “We have the rest of our lives.” Neteyam teased bringing up their last steamy scene.
“I’ll leave you to rest, my love..” Neteyam moved to get up but Aonung did not budge, pulling him right back down and hugging him from behind as he kept him close. “You are not leaving tonight, you and I have a lot of catching up to do.” Aonung refused to let Neteyam go.
It was nice to have their own spot, Aonung could only think that this would be their home. They had fallen asleep together, it was surreal to be able to sleep with his lover. Aonung swore when he woke up he would get to admire his beautiful face.
Except when he woke up, he had woken up to Lo’ak staring above him, glaring down on him. For a brief moment he had thought it was Neteyam, but Neteyam was in his arms. “What the fuck?” Aonung jolted, Neteyam instantly jumped up with him.
“So you think you can come back here a man, molest my brother and hold him captive here in your home. I came here to remind you that I am always watching you! You hurt my brother, I will break your neck.” Lo’ak warned.
“Enough Lo’ak, I can handle myself. But you’re pretty relentless for someone who has bonded before Eywa with  Aonung’s sister.” Neteyam teased, it was clear Aonung had no idea yet.
Aonung shot out of bed and Lo’ak ran as fast as he could away from him.
It left Neteyam alone in what would soon be their new home..

I’m Sorry I Wasn’t Enough
Neteyam x reader
Tumblr media
Pairing: Neteyam Sully x Reader Mate
Warnings: Mentions of Arranged Marriage, violence, blood.
Summary: A year after your marriage you are looking back on things, more specifically your non existent relationship with your mate. When something happens and you’re in danger how will Neteyam react? Oh and you’re injured?
****************************************************
Today marked the one year anniversary of your bonding ceremony to the future oleykten of the omatikaya. One year and one month since your life had changed forever
Neteyam te Sully, son of Toruk Makto… your husband. You remember it like it was yesterday..
The war with the sky people had gotten increasingly difficult, Toruk makto had been meeting with your Grandfather to discuss a potential alliance between the clans to aid in the fight against the sky people.
It was a shock to all when your Grandfather said they would only help if there was a blood alliance. Meaning you, the sole heir were to be married to Neteyam, there clans heir.
It was a smart move for all parties involved on paper. A decision that would strengthen everyone, combining resources, combining armies, combining… well everything. But happiness for everyone else unfortunately meant the sacrifice for you and Neteyam.
Toruk Makto had asked you many times if you were alright with it, to which you politely said you were ready to do anything to aid the cause against the sky people.
It’s not like you could have said anything else.
Your parents were not alive to defend you, your grandfather was a good leader but couldn’t care less about your happiness. “Good leaders need to make sacrifices for the people.”
Neteyam understood the same thing. He also wanted nothing more than to prove himself.
So you both agreed without so much as having more than one conversation together.
Within a few days you had packed all your belongings and were mounting an Ikran. Your new life awaited you.
A month later you were mated before Eywa to Neteyam. Bonded in every way except the heart.
Neteyam wasn’t cruel no but he was… serious. The heavy burden of war on his responsible shoulders. He was civil with you. Spoke when nessesary to you but other than that… you barely ever saw him.
His days were either filled with preparing for raids or the raids himself and he would enter your home pod late when you were asleep and leave at first light.
The only time you ever felt any sort of emotion from him was during your first and only mating bond. Connecting your queues forced emotion to flow through the both of you, and he had been gentle and caring. But you realized soon after that that was a one time occurrence and that warmth was not a thing your mate was capable of.
Well at least not with you. He was caring with his family, you’d watched him interact with them from afar. He was careful not to show this side of him to many but you did manage to see it several times before he noticed you were there, then he’d swiftly mask his face.
You really didn’t understand his coldness. You were mated for life shouldn’t you both make an effort to at least be friends?
You tried to be someone he would proud to call his mate. You helped around the village, especially with the wounded, you made sure not to fight with anyone and keep a cool head. You did everything you could but he never saw you.. never saw your efforts.. even though you saw his.
Over the year you watched your mate. You grew to admire his strength and character. Perhaps that is why it hurt so much. You had feelings for a man who barely acknowledged your existence.
You let out a deep sigh. The trees of the forest were the only ever witnesses to your sorrow. You adjusted your net covering around you. It was getting colder, your old home never reached cool temperatures so you were not prepared for it.
You really didn’t have friends save for Neteyams siblings. And even there you didn’t spend that much time with them seeing how much trouble they liked to get into. You didn’t want to risk upsetting your mate.
You would admit that you were lonely however. When you weren’t needed in the village you spent your time exploring the never ending forest that was your home. You weren’t raised in one so you were always venturing out and exploring.
Today however due to your more than usual sadness, what with it being your anniversary and all you had walked further than you intended.
You paused your steps hearing several voices up ahead, what were Navi doing all the way out here?
You slowly crept closer to the sounds but made sure to stay hidden behind the trees.
Your eyes widened when you caught sight of the Navi- no Avatars that were clad in military gear and holding AR’s.
You carefully moved backwards until you were out of earshot.
You knew you had to tell your mate. They were clearly dangerous.
You felt for the weird contraption around your neck, you never had to use it before. You pressed down on it,
“N-neteyam?” You spoke shakily.
A few seconds passed before you heard a click. “Y/n…? Is that you?”
You could hear the slight confusion in his voice. At least he recognized you.
“Y-yes um, I’m out in the forest and there’s these Avatars… but they don’t look normal, they are dressed in camo and are holding AR’s…”
“What’s you pos?”
“W-what?” You furrowed your brows.
“Your position, where are you right now?” He spoke a bit more sternly.
“I’m-“
Wait where were you?
“Y/n?”
“I’m not sure but they were standing in front of an old worn down building..like a shack… something from the sky people I think..”
You could hear an intake of breath, “Y/n listen to me carefully, you’re going to get out of there without making a sound ok? Get back here immediately.”
You nodded before realizing he couldn’t see you, “ok I’m coming” you released the button and started to run as quietly as you could back the way you came.
Adrenaline coursed through you, you looked back several times to ensure you weren’t being followed.
You stopped to catch your breath, hopefully this was far enough-
“Ah!” You cried out falling backwards seeing a fresh bullet lodged in the now smoking tree beside you.
You quickly regained your footing and started barreling forward.
A round of explosive pops rang from behind you, debris grazing your back.
Oh Great Mother help me!
You cried out as another bullet whizzed right by your ear causing you to lose balance.
You heard shouts but they spoke in a language unknown to you.
You moved to get up when suddenly your queue was yanked back forcefully.
You hissed at your abuser, but he only smiled. Again he spoke in a language you didn’t understand.
“L-Let me go!” You tried clawing at his hand but he only yanked harder causing your vision to go white in seering pain.
Was he going to kill you? You wish you could at least understand what he was shouting at you.
He used your queue to turn you harshly around. You hissed again now able to fully see your attacker.
He only rolled his eyes said something that again failed your understanding and swiftly backhanded you into the dirt.
While you lay on the ground in pain he held a hand to his ear saying something into his comm.
You had to do something, he was going to kill you or take you back to the others…
Your eyes perked up seeing something glinting strapped to his boot.
You figured it was best to attack while he was distracted…
I guess it’s now or never,
You swiftly grabbed the knife and plunged it into his stomach.
“Gah! You bitch!”
You didn’t stick around to see his reaction, you were already darting away. You heard the cocking of his gun and immediately started weaving through trees.
*POP* *POP* *POP*
It was a miracle you avoided all the bullets.
You made the mistake of looking back for a split second and found yourself tumbling over a root.
You gasped and tried to right yourself but he was already there pointing his gun.
Your eyes met his murderous ones and you knew this was it.
You let out one more frightened hiss and watched his finger start to pull.
*POP POP*
You couldn’t help the cry that left your mouth but- why weren’t you in pain?
“Y/N move!” Suddenly an arm was yanking you up onto your feet.
“N-neteyam!?” You couldn’t believe your eyes. He was about to speak when moments later more gunshots rang out. You gasped seeing more avatars emerging from the trees.
“Neteyam get her out of here! Move!” Jake jumped in front of you both and motioned for you to run. A few Navi warriors aiding him shooting their own weapons.
Neteyam pulled you through the trees at record speed, he quickly pulled you onto his Ikran before mounting it himself behind you and flying away. His eyes scanning the trees to make sure no one was aiming anything at them.
“Are you injured?” He asked in that raw tone he used in the middle of battle. Serious and to the point.
You shook your head, not trusting your voice not to crack. That was the last thing you wanted to do was cry in front of him.
He sighed before adjusting his reins. His silence was like poison. Slowly seeping into you making you feel ten times worse then when you were just under that guys gun.
You were breathing heavily when he landed the ikran on the mountain ledge.
He dismounted first then held out his hand, you let him help you down thanking Eywa that your legs didn’t give out on you in front of the entire village who were currently staring.
“Neteyam!” Tuk ran up and hugged your mate tightly.
The silly siblings all ran up to you guys asking what happened.
“Are you hurt sister?” Kiri eyed you up and down wearily.
“I’m alright, don’t worry…”
“Y/n!” Tuk was quick to switch to you and you embraced her warmly wanting to ease the fear on her face.
“Everyone is alright Tuk, please don’t cry…” you stroked her back calming her down, or maybe you were using her as a buffer.
You hesitantly glanced up to where Neteyam was speaking to his mother. He looked pissed. Neytiris eyes met your worried ones for a split second, softening slightly before turning back to her son. Her eyes widened in some sort of threat before sighing and coming to you.
“Are you alright daughter?” She placed a hand on your shoulder.
“I’m alright…I’m sorry for all of this I-“ she shushed you quickly.
“Don’t, it’s alright, everyone is alright…” you sighed and nodded to her thankful that she wasn’t upset with you for putting her family in danger.
“Y/n” you sucked in a breath and met your mates eyes. You wanted to let out a whimper at the anger they held.
He motioned for you to follow him. Every step felt like someone had placed a stone in your heart.
He pulled aside the flap of your tent and looked forward waiting for you to enter.
With shakey breaths you ducked under and stepped into your home.
Your fingers pulling at your netted covering as a nervous distraction.
You had seen Neteyam angry countless times before, at warriors who disobeyed orders. At his brother for causing trouble, at anyone who seriously stepped out of line.
You shivered in place now that for the first time that anger was directed at you.
He yanked the flap back down and rounded on you.
“What the hell were you thinking!?” His eyes shooting daggers through you.
“I-I I’m sorry I didn’t mean-“
“Do you know how much danger you’ve put everyone in?! They could’ve followed you back to our village and done who knows what!”
“I never would have-“
“What were you thinking wandering around there!? That areas off limits for a reason!”
“I didn’t know- Neteyam I-!”
“Enough! I don’t want to hear your excuses.” You felt the tears running down your cheeks and it seemed to trigger Neteyam to at least bring his anger down a notch.
He turned around letting out a sigh,
He hated you, that was evident now. He may have hidden his distaste before but now that you had finally angered him his true colors showed.
It only made your tears come faster. The adrenaline finally wearing off, you realized just how scared you had been. Your body ached, craving nothing more than to curl up and rest.
Not to mention an annoying pinching feeling on your abdomen that was getting increasingly more painful. Like a sting from a beertus beetle.
You ignored it focusing on the man before you.
He held a hand up to his neck, you could hear his father speaking on the other side.
They talked for a minute, you released a breath you didn’t know you were holding when you heard that everyone was alright.
Neteyam ended the line and his head turned towards you. He seemed a bit calmer now that he knew everyone was ok.
Your eyes couldn’t handle his glare at the moment so instead they landed on the mat beneath you.
It was quiet for several moments, the air thick with tension.
“You are never to go there or anywhere near that area again understood?” He spoke to you like you were one of his soldiers.
“Understood…” your voice was hoarse but at least it didn’t break.
He nodded before turning to leave and meet with his father to discuss this new threat.
Your heard his footsteps start to fade which meant he was going to leave. Of course he would. Why would he want to stay with someone like you?
Your eyes were still glued to the mat. A beautifully woven mat that was a gift from your Mother in law. It was dyed in beautiful colors.
Huh? Did something spill on it? Your eyebrows furrowed seeing red droplets. Hopefully that wouldn’t stain.. was it juice? You hoped it-
Another drop, forming right before your eyes. You looked up at the ceiling, frowning when you didn’t see anything. Then something clicked and you moved your netted cover to the side, you expected to see a cut or deep scrape from your falls. But you felt like a bucket of ice had been dumped on you when you saw it.
Why Great mother? Why were you testing me like this?
You let out a distressed whimper. Your eyes shot to the entrance where your mate had just stepped out of seconds before. You could still hear his footsteps.
You could call to him. He would hear you. But you didn’t. You couldn’t.. your mate already hated you. You would not tell him this and make him even angrier.
You would not tell him you had been shot…
****************************************************
You cursed realizing quickly that that was probably the dumbest mistake you had made. Because moments later you were too dizzy to stand and were sprawled out onto the floor clutching your side.
How could you get help now? Was this how you were going to die? It certainly looked like it..
You thought of your mate. He hated you, maybe it was…. You whimpered at your next thought.
Maybe this was for the better. He would find a new mate and be happy.
Yeah, you could do this for him… why should such a good person be miserable..?
But wait… would this damage his reputation? That he let sky people kill his mate?
Was this actually going to hurt him?
A Navi males reputation was everything. If he couldn’t protect his family who would trust him to protect the people.
No, you couldn’t be selfish. If you died, he would suffer in his position.
For the second time ever you reached up to your neck, fingers slippery from the blood.
“N-neteyam…” was that your voice? It sounded so different…
Would he even answer? He probably thought you were trying to make excuses for what happened. You tried calling out a few more times.
You felt your heart sink at the silence, it looked like he had shut the line off.
As your vision began to blur at the edges you realized that it looked like his reputation was going to suffer after all.
Even though you knew he wasn’t listening you held the button down once more, one final time…
“I’m s-sorry Neteyam.. I really tried to be a w-worthy m-mate.. I’m sorry I couldn’t do b-better mmh, p-pl.. please tell the p-people it was m-my fault not yours…I… I really did love you N-Neteyam, I-i h-hope your next mate will make you happy-“
Your fingers slipped from exhaustion and your vision failed you completely.
Goodbye my Neteyam…
****************************************************
Neteyam had never moved so fast in all his life.…
Ooooh a cliffhanger hehehe, also is anyone actually reading this? Should I do a part 2👀❤️

5. Vulnerability
Tumblr media
A/n: I’ve been waiting sooooo long to use this part of the movie in my story AHSFDWHFSJKEFH. Anyways...hope you enjoy. It’s not edited so I'm sorry if it's incomprehensible. Also, please listen to the song I linked while reading! Parts of the script are not mine, so full credit to the writer of the original script.
Änee leaped over the tree branches that had fallen on the floor and Jake did the same, running behind her. They had distanced themselves from the ceremony wanting to relieve the tension that had formed between them. She hoped that opening her heart to him by showing him her sacred place would help reassure him.
She guided him towards a clearing in the woods, a green sparkling pond in the middle surrounded by those purple trees he admired the last time he met with her. She walked around the pond as Jake stood there, watching her hips move. She bent down, dipping her hand in the water and welcoming the fish that inhabited it. The white dots on her skin glowed as the darkness enveloped the sky. She turned her head to look at Jake as he was now looking around at the trees.
“This was my home when I was an infant. My friends and I would gather here every morning before breakfast to clean ourselves and play around in the water. I find it replenishing whenever I come back here. As if every day takes something from me but the lepay brings it back,” (water) She stood back up, reaching behind her neck with her hands. She slowly untied her bralette letting it fall on the floor.
“Oh,” Jake’s mouth fell open. He quickly turned to the side, placing his arm over his eyes. No matter how curious he was, he was respectful of your privacy. Änee noticed his nervous stance as he was trying his best to avert his eyes from the situation in front of him.
“Nudity should not be inappropriate to you. It’s the way we were conceived and it's only natural to roam freely in our birthed bodies. But you seem to have a problem with that,” She giggled as her eyes fell on the bump on Jake’s bottom cover. He quickly hid it, removing his arm from his eyes. His eyes were on her body again as she removed her skirt and dove into the water. She came back up, the newly formed waves hitting her shoulders.
She looked up and down at him, gesturing that he should join her. And although he felt awkward undressing in front of her, something about how she looked at him brought a sense of comfort to Jake. Jake walked into the pond, feeling bare while she reached up to take his hand. She slowly pulled him in as she reassured him: “Do not feel ashamed, Jake. I am comfortable showing you my vulnerable self and I will happily welcome you into my heart,”
Her words made his eyelashes flutter. He felt like a little girl laying on her bed, kicking her feet back and forth as butterflies formed in her stomach. His spirit lifted and he suddenly felt worry depart him. She led him closer to her and let go of his hand when he was close enough for her to feel his breath. She placed both of her hands on his chest.
“Calm your heart. Close your eyes and listen to the water.” Jake followed her commands and breathed heavily. His heart was beating so fast he could not even think straight. She caressed his skin with her thumb, the most comforting feeling to Jake. He felt his heart slow down as her hands went up to his face, her fingers running over his lips. He heard the water move as she moved closer to him. He could feel her breath on his neck before she placed soft kisses all over his skin.
“Calm you will find in here. It has to be from the inside. Looking for it elsewhere will result in failure,” She spoke softly. Her eyes stared into his once he opened his eyes. He tucked a piece of her hair in the back of her ear, revealing her serene face.
“Thank you, Änee. You’re magical,” She chuckled and swam a few feet away from him.
“You are stupid, Jake,” She laughed as he opened his mouth in shock. He splashed her with the water, giggles erupting from both of them.
“Stop it!” Änee stopped as she accepted defeat. With her hand on her stomach, she leaned on the edge of the pond, swaying her legs in the water. Jake, on the other hand, was swimming around the pond looking down at his feet as the fish swarmed them. Änee looked at him for a moment and Jake turned around to ask her a longing question.
“How do mates work exactly?” She dipped her head in the water, soaking her hair, and cleared her throat.
“Mating is an internal process. You mate with the one that feels right. One that is worthy of being in your life forever. Once you have chosen each other, you will mate before Eywa under the tree of voices. There are many women for you to choose from. Nuyä, who you have already met, is known for her beauty and grace. You should choose someone talented. Talented as Ninat, who is the best singer,” She rubbed her hands on the surface of the water, creating patterns on it. Jake stared at her as she suggested possible mates for him.
“I don’t want Ninat,” He walked towards her, forming bubbles in the water.
“Bey’ral is the best hunter,” She continued oblivious to how close they were. He nodded.
“Yes, she is. But, I have already chosen,” Äwee looked up at him, tilting her head to the side as her eyes softened.
“But this woman must also choose me,” She smiled, revealing her fangs as she realized who he was referring to.
“She already has,” She stared down at his lips and he brought his hand up to caress her cheek. He tilted his head to the side as he leaned it to her. His lips touched her soft ones and they moved together to form a soft kiss.

AVATAR MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
Neteyam's method of showing affection was hugs, touching and caressing. While on your part it was to turn red as a tomato every time neteyam came closer than a foot away. You had the biggest crush that could exist in all of pandora. And that's saying a lot. Loak was always making fun of your sketchbook that was full of sketches of neteyam, no matter what he was doing. You would sit far away and draw him. But you didn't get too close to him and you didn't talk to him much. While loak, kiri were very close to you, you kept your distance from neteyam. You thought that if you got too close, you would ruin everything.
On the other hand, neteyam thought you hated him. Yes… you hated him with all your soul and he knew it. Every time he tried to reach out to give you a hug. You would open your eyes wide and pull away. Or when they were playing with each other. It was truth or dare… and he chose dare. Spider dared him to give you a kiss. Neteyam got close to your face, he was excited… he saw your face turn red and you pushed him away. Getting up from your place and running out to your room. Everyone was silent, looking at each other. Neteyam was heartbroken, the boy was in love with you and you hated him.
But what bothered him the most was your closeness with loak. Why loak? i mean…the boy was not a good match for you. And yet you were more affectionate with him, it wasn't like you were on top of him all day. But if you let loak put his arm on your shoulder, or let him play with your hair a little bit. Or sit next to you. It was killing him, because he wanted to have that contact with you.
Neteyam had taken the day off, and decided to go to the small station that the humans had set up on one of the islets of the Metkayina clan, after the battles. Norm and several scientists were welcomed to the islands to help. And you were part of that group. "Hey…nete" greets norm as he sees the boy enter. "Hi norm…how are you?" neteyam greets politely. As he tried to look for you somewhere in the small lab. "Are you looking for Y/N?" says norm, teasing the boy a little. Neteyam laughs nervously. At that very moment you emerge from one of the storage rooms. You shift your gaze past neteyam.
"Y/n…h-hello!!!" says neteyam excitedly following a few steps behind you. His tail wagged back and forth, until you felt him tap you on the arm. "I'm so sorry" neteyam moved away a little bit. "Don't worry nete" you looked up to look at neteyam, you saw how excited he was. Maybe he was happy about something else. Norm walked over to you. "Y/N honey…please I need you to help me get some samples. I need you to bring me some leaves of this plant" Norm showed you a picture. "This plant grows in the forested area of this island" you take the tablet to look further into what you were going to look for. "Why doesn't Neteyam come with you?" says Norm, looking at Neteyam to give him a wink. Neteyam laughs a little but shifts his gaze so you don't spot them.
"Ahhh I don't know if…maybe" you say as you muddle over your words. "It's no problem…I'm free" neteyam almost screams with excitement. Once again his tail taps you on the arm, you nudge it a little. "Ready…well go then, I need them before nightfall" says norm, refocusing on his work. "Let's go neteyam" you say, taking the sample tube and handing it to neteyam to put in her waist bag. You stand a little quietly as you watch neteyam's hands slide down to his waist. He looks up to see how you are looking at him. "All good" the boy teases. "Yeah yeah come on" you push him a little. You could push him all day, if this was going to be the only form of contact with you, He was going to let you manhandle him all you want.
They walked a bit through the wooded area, you were in the front and neteyam was in the back enjoying the view. "hey why aren't you wearing the outfit I gave you?" asks neteyam following in your footsteps. "I've kept it…I haven't had a chance to wear it" you say. You hear neteyam chuckle a little, but you decide to ignore him. Sometime later you see the plant near a small waterfall, you walk over and sit down on one of the rocks. Neteyam sits down next to you, pulling out the sample tube. " wow…this plant is beautiful" you say, as you pluck several leaf samples.
"You say you can't use my gift…but look" neteyam touches the bracelet on your arm. "loak gave this to you last week and you are wearing it" spits neteyam waiting for you to react. " nete… this is a accessory, you gave me a complete navi outfit" you say trying to take the sample tube from his hands. Neteyam moves his hands away. "So? I made it myself for you…but it's okay. Everything I do sucks for you," Neteyam says. You remain silent, he just said that you think he disgusts you. "What the hell are you saying?" you say. Neteyam relaxes a little, you can see how frustrated he was.
"Why are you avoiding me…why don't you want me to be by your side? Even now…" neteyam takes the tube and then you watch as he takes your hand and places the object there in the palm of your hand. You didn't want to say anything, you didn't dare. You didn't have the courage to tell him that the only reason you didn't approach him was because you were a nervous wreck around him. You quickly took the samples, and started on your way to the lab. On the way back to the station, neither of you dared to speak. You arrived at the lab, entered and noticed how it was empty.
"He asks me for these samples and then disappears" you complain, as you place the tube of samples on norm's desk. You turn to see neteyam, he was sitting on a improvised couch that norm had created for the size of the avatars. "Neteyam… you don't disgust me" you say, causing the boy to look up. "Really?" the boy scoffs a little. You walk over to neteyam and sit down next to him. "Didn't you like my gift?" asks Neteyam. The boy looks at you, see how you avoid looking at him. "You see…you don't even want to look at me and " you get up from the couch, getting on your knees so you can reach neteyam's face in your hands. You pull him close and kiss him. Neteyam's eyes open wide. You pull away and sit quietly beside him.
Neteyam felt like his heart was going to burst out of his chest. His cheeks grew warm, as he broke out in a cold sweat. You had kissed him." I have a notebook dedicated only to you… and I don't come close because I don't know how to act around you" you say shyly. Before you begin to speak, you feel neteyam's lips collide with yours again. But this time you let your emotions fly and do what they have to do.

Kiri is unconscious. Rotxo stands vigil outside the Suli family's marui. He'll stay there as long as it takes.
As highlighted in this post, Rotxo isn't one of Kiri's bullies. Rather, it's his cousin Anukai, and as Rotxo stands vigil, he has a... strongly worded conversation with him.
Roxto is smitten for Kiri, one sided puppy love, dialogue heavy, Tuk needs a hug
