Annoyed that yet another free class I took, which the provider made a big deal about was really just another gimmick to get you to sign up for another, much larger course they offer that's expensive as all get-out, and really only provided the same bare basic information that you can get literally everywhere else on the internet for free (except somehow in even more hypercondensed form that didn't teach you anything new).
I shouldn't be surprised at this point. And yet these companies just keep getting me like this; I'm so tired of people being intentionally misleading- or flat out lying- about what their free courses actually provide.

Pain Relief
I love Horse N Tale horse pain relief products and pain management spray. Nothing else I’ve tried makes a dent in my back pain, but Horse N Tale ArthritisEz spray works well.  I ordered more to make sure I had some on a trip to a theme park.  I sprayed it on in the morning, rubbed it in and spent the day pain free!  That has never happened before!  My husband used the PainEz for the neuropathy in…

Native Lilac
Native Lilac Celebrated for its showy and sweet aromatic flowers of faded purple or soft white, the native lilac shrub is a cherished feature of naturalized landscapes across New England. What better flower than this to represent the state of New Hampshire? Words and images by Michael J. Hall

I love that the Northwest School of Aromatic Medicine provides absolutely zero accessibility options for their Webinar; their rhetoric has always been questionable to me, but the more I actively interact with them the more I come to dislike them for a variety of reasons.
Tumblr media
ETA: Annoyed that this "Webinar" that was billed as an extension of the "class" that I took wound up being basically just an hour long, seemingly pre-recorded (jury's still out on that one but multiple people in the chat had their suspicions) interview with the original "class" instructor; the "class" itself in question was just a series of three 101 videos that could've just been a blog post, they were so short (and short on information).
This place calls itself a school but it consistently overhypes itself and its products, and consistently underperforms and underdelivers on its offerings. I'm not impressed, and I think I'm honestly done with dealing with them at this point.
Tumblr media
ETA: Annnnnd there it is finally. The sales pitch I expected because they did the exact same thing at the end of the class with a manipulated "4th video" image that actually took you to the signup for the full course instead; the "hey come take our longer course that's hundreds of dollars, and here's this fun discount code because you were so patient and took our "class" and came to our "webinar" and jumped through these hoops for this measly discount that all of this was really put in place to promote". No thank you.
In general, I'm not opposed to plugging your offerings at the end of a course- especially when it's actually related to what you've taught. However. When you set an entire "course" and "webinar" up solely to promote a much larger offering, overhype the hell out of what you're actually providing in both, and then massively underdeliver on what you promised to provide- and you only did it just to sell the bigger product? Then you've proven twice now that you school's just a manipulative liar. I no longer have a shred of faith or trust in you or your gimmicky nonsense.
