There's this phenomenon bunnies can have called False Pregnancy. Imagine it in an a/b/o setting.

The Omega nests, at first like normal, but it becomes more extravagant. There's a little den part where they'll have their pups. The Omega refuses to stop until it's absolutely perfect.

Despite this, there's no signs of pregnancy. They aren't. Yet the Omega "knows" in their gut that they're about to have pups. They grow stressed, chewing, even biting at anyone who isn't their alpha.

Eventually, the feeling will pass, and depression can onset. Similar to post partum. It'll take some time, they'll most likely just stay in their nest and only want to be seen by their alpha and very very close friends/family.

Mother bunnies always worry for their omegas about this happening, because it's rather common. There's plenty of books on it, like picture books and such (and non for adults), and the community is pretty well aware. It's diagnosable by doctors so pack members can be excused from school, work, or other events.

A lot of my feed here is puppy content but I'm not actually a puppy girl, I'm more of a crow/raven girl. Some of my friends call me pretty bird or birdy. Fun ecological fact, wolves and ravens hunt together but don't get too close because wolves are territorial and ravens are comparatively weak and cautious because of it.

I call my partner Alpha when she gets toppy

She and I were chatting last night and she was in such a mood. A protective, territorial, alpha mood. I mentioned this info about corvids and how it lines up with how much weaker I am then the horny pups we know and she made it very clear how she'd protect me from them. At least until she wanted to sic the pack on me.

A dozen canines; toys and cocks, biting everything, pinning me down, manipulating my body like it's nothing. Covering my body from ankle to jaw in bruises and scratches. One bites a little too hard and the smell of blood makes everything so much worse. After a while I'd only feel the heights of pain and pleasure as I'm flooded to the brim with endorphins. Moaning and drooling eager for more more more. Pups emptying into me and tiring themselves out inside me. The whole pack spent and tired and empty because of the corvid who's body is twitching and messy in a puddle on the floor.

My alpha would pick me up, clean me off, let me rest. I'd be all hers in the morning anyhow. She doesn't have to wait in a line with the pack, I'm hers whenever she wants. Because she's my alpha and I'm her mate.

Hmm... Tips...

That's a little broad, but hopefully these help!

A nest/den can be anything! It doesn't *have* to be your bed you sleep in every night, although that's common. Maybe you make it underneath a table or desk, or in your closet! It's up to you

There is no "right" or "wrong" way to nest! Sure, you can have a "depression nest" which may affect your mood, but messy nests are not inherently bad

Feel free to peruse your smelly stores! Bath and body works, Yankee Candle, hell even the perfume section of your local outlet store (like JC Penny). It's okay if you don't have your scent 100% figured out yet and if it fluctuates. That's life, baby!

Personally, I haven't found a perfume/spray of my alpha yet but I have found a candle. I love burning it, and his flannel has a place in my nest. I do have perfumes I mix with my main scent (strawberries) though I know my mate is getting me a perfume that'll be perfect for the upcoming holidays.

You don't need a pack to be a/b/o! I know it's tempting and maybe you feel pressured to find your mate or your pack, but being solo is okay!! Especially if it's the safer option

Back to every day aspects, I scent my nest with a room spray, I do "goofy" things like refer to my feet as "paws" or my toes as toe beans. Don't be embarrassed, do what makes you happy and don't care what others think.

Personally I'd definitely go look at the kin and therian communities. They can also be good resources and good friends!
