karamatsu goes on with his life but darling is like waaa he was so nice i wanna be friends or something but idk if i will everrr find him again siiighhh. buut like one week later darling is all dressed up on theyr way to the city museum bc they help out there for school credit (is that a thing in japan idk this is me playing with dolls) but still have some time to kill to get there and on the way they see karamatsu in the distance and darling is like oh! i can say hi!! so they go but bc they r dressed more cutesy now karamatsu immediately starts doing his bit before darling even says hi hes like: "AH YES OUR FATED MEETING WAS WRITTEN IN THE STARS!! YES IVE BEEN SEEING U IN MY DREAMS AND MAY IT BE FATE THAT HAS BROUGHT U TOGETHER¿ RIGHT NOW MY **DARLING**!!" or something like that and darling is an idiot so they go "OMG HE REMEMBERS ME FROM LAST TIME! AND HE WANTS ME TO KEEP HIM COMPANY!! OR SOMETHING IM NOT SURE WHATS HE TALKING ABOUT!" point is darling doesn't ask for his name cause they already know it and karamatsu quite literally just names them darling and then they go on a not date to the museum cause i say so

dont get me wrong i ship them but also theyre both so fail at this bc darling is an airhead and karamatsu is....karamatsu

they would be the kind of ship that starts dating without knowing which i find funny bc karamatsu would make a big deal out of asking darling out and darling would be like oh as a friend right and would miss every romance cue ever but then when darling would be like hey are we dating and karamatsuu would be like *dies from both exasperation and relief* and then darling would be too concerned about getting him to the hospital and forgets about the dating part im hjust having fun here

like after hanging out a bit darling probably sees totty in the city and they go OMGG KARAMACHAN U DIDNT TELL ME U WERE GOnna be in the city we could hang out and ur dressed in pink if i wore my pink cardigan we could maaatch and then realizes, they fucked up and totty is like KARAMACCHAN WHO, but totty was like, with friends and the girls are like omg totty who is this and darling is like TOTTY WHO, and his friends rope darling into hanging out bc darling straight up glomped totty there and they r never living that down ever.

and then todomatsu confronts karamatsu like DO YOU KNOW THIS GIRL and karamatsu is like ah thats darling and totty is like DIE?? anyway they get along fine n totty calls them dari-chan i think darling also gets along with osomatsu darling draws him silly stuff on request n sometimes tries to play with jyushimatsu (dies) ichi probs thinks darling has something wrong in the head to hang out w karamatsu (they do) and choromatsu is like perpetually confused, no one uses the same set of pronouns for darling which creates confusion at the start

darling is technically a nickname (and an overly cutesy one too!) so darling gets named that way by karamatsu at the start so they go oh i guess we r besties for life now and so they go like ok so i need a cutesy nickname for him so they do that and with totty darling fucks up introducing themself to him so they end up being dari-chan to him as a way to make an even more cutesy name out of an already cute nickname i just think thats funny

uuu what else what else, picky eater of the eats meat variety, short, cant see, tummy hurts, lightweight but doesnt care, this is literally me bro, this post is already so fucking long idk what else more, im just playing with dolls man

Yes, that explanation completely makes sense! And I’m quite comfortable with disappointing people. I know for sure that I do it all of the time. I’m no stranger to rejection, either. I’m just in a really effing weird situation where someone isn’t properly rejecting me (I am deeply familiar what rejection feels like, and this ain’t it) so I have to adapt and just like, disappoint in new, similarly uncomfortable ways.

To be honest, it’s such a strange situation that I’ve grown to enjoy the challenge of adjusting to it. I’d much rather it make sense to me, and I hope that eventually it will, but I have no control over that right now, and that’s fine. The lack of control used to be quite painful and emotionally damaging, but now it’s often quite amusing. Sometimes stuff just doesn’t make sense, y’know? Especially when people are hiding the sense from you, and they don’t owe you any explanations.

It’s like “I’ve grown accustomed to your face” and the face is just someone being disappointed 🙃 I know people cut other people out of their lives for that sort of thing, but I care about this person more than I care about their apparent disappointment, so instead of “I hate myself for loving you,” it’s “I love myself for loving you.” Does that make sense to you?

Sorry for harping on about this, like I said, it’s just a very strange situation so I appreciate opportunities to at least explain myself, since I can’t explain the other person.

Theres this stage in codependency recovery where the codependent is supposed to ask themselves "if [partner] never changes, what would i do? regardless of what this other person does, what do i need in my life to make that life worth living?" and then they go and do that.

maybe they break up w the person they were codependent to. maybe they dont. doesnt matter. the point is that they have stopped making the other person the center of their world, and theyre going out living their own life rather than making decisions based on how it would impact the other person or the relationship. pretty much the opposite of memory foaming.

i got to this place in my last serious relationship years before the relationship ended. i realized he was never gonna make more time for me, was never going to contribute to finances, was never gonna contribute to household tasks, was never gonna want quality time, was never going to want to go out with me to do any of the things i enjoyed, and was never gonna get good at messaging me back. i said to myself okay, if thats all true, and he is never going to change or ever give me what i want no matter how i act and no matter what i do for him, what do i want out of life then?

and i started going to conventions. and conferences. and mister international leather. and concerts. and book readings. i made new friends at support groups and book clubs and gaming groups. i invited people to the museum or to concerts in the park. i tried new hobbies. i made a full life all around myself instead of waiting for him to change and give anything satisfying to me. and so, by the end of it, when i dumped him i lost almost nothing except for a fantasy.

I dont know your situation but it sounds to me like you want to be okay with doing more for someone than they bring you in the relationship. And i think that kinda arrangement always has an end date. but i only hope that you arent like i was and dont stick around past that end date for years.

mischa is soo good at baking (his mother taught him) and noel loves to eat all the silly pastries and desserts he makes bc he will always decorate them w the GOOOOOFIEST SHIT like he’ll walk up to noel and be like “what do i put on my cupcakes.” and noel will be like “idk???!!!!!!” and mischa will end up making like minion cupcakes or some shit [to the intense dismay/amusement of noel gruber]

noel (love language words of affirmation) gruber and mischa (love language physical touch) bachinski. they are absolutely INSUFFERABLE to be around. initially they were kind of iffy on pda but eventually they end up violently making out with one another when they think no one can see or hear them (EVERYONE can see and hear them like oh my god)

mischa tried teaching noel some ukrainian and started w lovey dovey words like pet names and how to say i love you and stuff and then he ran out of cute stuff and now noel knows most swear words and 20 variations of the word balls?????????? additionally noel tried teaching mischa some french and mischa caught on QUICK and hes so proud of himself for occassionally texting noel in only mildly broken french good for him

noel writes lullaby-style love songs that still play into his romanticization of his oui oui bonjour headass (love him) and mischa frequently raps about noel and how love is love and gets so mad at youtube haters

additionally mischa and noel holding a party for themselves bc mischa hit 2k youtube subs slay

mischas “parents” kick him out quite often and noel is more than happy to let him sleep over :] they do participate in pillow fights and painting each others’ nails and talking just so much shit. also noels mom looooves him despite him being unconventional for the area bc hes such a silly goose and shes happy he keeps noel in check and happy

i cannot stress how much shit they talk like it is unreal how judgmental they are . noel will be working a shift and mischa will burst in and walk up to the counter and give a vague sentence as to what the latest gossip is and then take a seat and watch as noel claps his hand over his mouth they r dramatic AND judgmental like!!!!

noel initially got so embarrassed when mischa would just Come Into His Workplace while he was working but eventually he got used to it and his coworkers all tease him for it

mischa and noel visiting an art museum and noel dragging them to the european paintings section. noel giving his interpretation of one of the paintings as mischa barely holds back tears bc did i mention how dramatic and emotional this guy is holy shit

by no means is this comprehensive and some plots are vague so we can build on it more. you can consider this a jumping off point for when we're plotting and we're having trouble coming up with something. source link is my muse page for reference. absolutely ask more about a muse if you want more information. while most of these are slice-of-life plots, i will absolutely give supernatural, fantasy (modern or historical), & crime verses upon request.

supernatural that sees shion, a brand new half-ghoul, as an opportunity / something to exploit. maybe shion is exactly the perfect alibi they need because he's found himself investigating supernatural deaths now. idfk.

kazuharu miya / bodyguard + underground fighter / 30 / he / werewolf

sorry i am by design a sucker for bodyguard/person that they are guarding ships. give. additional reasons for giving me this : the who did this to you trope.

for you historical fantasy nerds : let haru be your muse's loyal knight. perhaps they met when haru was young and ur muse was never meant to be next in line to the throne but things happened that propelled y/m into the role of the kingdom's ruler and who better to have by your side than your childhood best friend who will take a sword for you without question?

haha your muse is a criminal. naomi is tasked with finding them/taking them down. he thought this case was going to be small and easy but it quickly unravels into something much bigger than expected. game of cat and mouse. at eachother’s throats. one of them always one step ahead of the other.

you: give me a superhero/powered character. me: gives you a PI that is hired to investigate something that said powered person is involved in. chaos <3

nuri jeong / actor + stuntperson / 35 / they

dysfunctional celeb couple

your character does not know who nuri is and nuri is absolutely fucking elated by that. can be platonic/antagonistic

ldr :') they were together for a year and then your muse has to move for job or family or something else 12 timezones away and nuri can’t go with them because they have their own responsibilities here so they decide theyll try this LDR thing and for the first few months its going great even if it means theyre both sacrificing sleep and their health but then it starts getting a little worse and they dont call as often and theyre starting to have doubts and one of them decides enough is enough and goes on a little trip to see the other without telling them and thats as far as i got

december kelley / event photographer / 25 / they / vampire

ember meets ur muse at a wedding they are photographing (someone in the bridal party? grooms party? one of the people that is getting married? who knows.... heh...) and they hit it off... perhaps better than the marrying couple themselves

ember's gf that turned them into a vampire.... maybe she isnt dead ! maybe she went into hiding. whatever. ember's pissed now because how dare you turn them into a vampire and then abandon them?

okay stay with me here. give me lochan's ex-fiancé. the fiancé broke it off because they thought she wasn’t giving them enough time. they find eachother again. lochanwants to get back together because of course she does. whether your muse agrees or doesnt is up to you but personally i’d love to explore the fall of their relationship and the rebuilding of it and the hesitance and the angst and everything that comes with it.

LOL. REBOUND!!! she deserves a little bit of a rebound. maybe it’s only one night maybe it lasts a month. maybe they stay friends after maybe they don’t maybe they were always in love with her and she sees them as temporary.

your muse work’s in the same department as lochan at the same university (or hospital works too?? we're flexible) :) a little bit of a rivalry. for fun :) maybe its more :)

virgil is another nuanced character a GOOD character, that has made a few too many mistakes for me personally to like right now but i think he is definitely going to change and improve in the future and i cant wait for that. also gets done dirty by the fandom. i occasionally brainrot abt his possible connection to janus and remus and also his relationship to logan bc theyre such a good duo, bounce very well off each other. same with roman actually but that ine is so popular in the fandom yknow thats already appreciated. i also think abt how HE has been don dirty by the other characters too tho, especially patton.

PATTON (THIS IS /NEG FEEL FREE TO SKIP)

IIIII FUCKING HATE PATTON. okay so. his actual in canon character has many flaws that make me actively dislike him but hes such a good and nuanced character qmd the fandom does not appreciate that. they always boild him down to the happy father. wjen hes SO MUCH MORE. i indulge in u!patton content myself just bc thats how i like to interpret him out of canon but in canon he has potential to realize his faults and grow and we see him start that with janus. excited to see where his character is going. he better apologize to all the others eventually tho 😤

hiiii im making a self indulgent ass post w/ all the fun little details i packed into tip the ferrymen pages up til today (excluding all the stuff thats foreshadowing for later spoilers) im gonna put it all under the cut though!!!

so hi. funny little bg details in ferrymen that i think is fun:

pg2 - Russel's grave! his last name, Marek, is named after an NPC in a really old dnd campaign my buddy jay ran for us back in high school

pg8 - there's a lot here so im just showing all of it LMAO. ambrosia bar back alley in the bg, one of eddie's murals is on the wall, eileen's missing poster is on the left, and as a lil spoiler: one of the ghosts in the background is gonna be a major character in arc 2!

pg20 - one of joey's drawings is of a younger nathan and the other is a blue cowboy, if you know what thats a nod to you know lol

pg20 - Eddie's gifts for the fortunes include a cat angel statue, white lillies (often used in funerals), and a blue candle. most of this is just supposed to be a nod towards who's leaving these gifts

pg33 - this is kinda hard to see due to the coloring (which i plan on going back and fixing at a later date) but the title of this book is "the wonderful world of elevators" which is a taz reference

pg37 - this is more a production fun fact but i made the eyes on the shadow creature in esther's portrait by just heavily editing a photo of my eye lol

pg37 - as eddie sneaks away from the vargas's, he glitches out which is meant to show that he's using his shapeshifting powers. foreshadowing!

pg45 - foreground detail so everyone noticed it but eddies just kinda chilling here when the vargas's enter andy's library

pg46 and pg81 - bim bim the bear's tears match esther's death injuries, he also copies joeys expressions throughout the first arc!

pg52 - the author of this book is mai's dad, arthur!

pg54 - eddie's "tell" when she's shapeshifted as someone else is that the scar over her eye stays no matter what. this isn't the only instance of this, but emily's disguise makes it the most obvious!

while we're at it-- eddie can mimic the blank eyes of ghosts because he knows they have blank eyes from watching paranathan, but he doesn't know what their death injuries like so they can't mimic them.

pg60 - the environments in sarah's station are made of cardboard cut outs, mimicing the kinda toy-like feeling of a giant train model

pg68- anime sparkles

pg71 - my favorite example of bimbim mimicking joey's expressions

pg74 - this is obvious i just really wanna point out nathan blushing when he sees how fucking tall eddie is

pg76 - when stumbling across the recreation of the murder scene, joey and eddie stare at the replica of the murder weapon in horror while nathan looks ahead at the portrait on the wall. nathan has seen this scene before back when it actually happened, it wouldn't be shocking to him but the museum of grief lizzie's made for herself would. eddie and joey, who have never seen the scene before, focus on the replica weapon.

pg83 - joey and esther bein BUDS

ik quite a bit of people dont like/celebrate valentines day, which i get, but i personally love it. ik the argument is showing your appreciation/love for someone shouldnt be relegated to just one day, and that doing so takes the genuine bits away from it, and i totally agree, but the way i see it, valentines day is just another day to show your affection, for friends, partners, etc. and thats wonderful!

mini i love v day word vomit aside, i do think big mama and lou jitsu celebrate valentines day if only bc they are super lovey-dovey i feel, based off the few moments we see in the show pre-proposal, and the nicknames they use for each other as well. they are dorks in love, and that side is one that comes out a lot when theyre together. so yeah, i def think they celebrate

pre-proposal: date night that consists of dancing, dinner, and a movie at home. giftwise, i dont think theyd go all out, because they already do that like, in general. idk if build a bear exists but damnit, they build a bear. big mama gives lou flowers.

(lou takes her to museum on v day once when they're in some other country (france? italy? i know nothing abt art) and they both like this one painting. he doesnt know it, but big mama steals it later, and has it replaced with a fake. leo is sneaking around the hotel years later and accidentally finds it, not knowing its history)

post-propsal (canon compliant): well, i mean, its implied that they do date for a while even after the proposal. and the feelings are still there. as is the belief lou has that there is good in big mama. maybe the dates aren't the same as pre-proposal, but there is still dinner, walks in the hidden city, a movie at home, and slow dancing in the lounge. there is no museum, but there is a painting. and it lasts, for a while. but they argue; lou doesnt want to be her champion anymore, he doesnt want her to be his boss; he just wants to be hers and for her to be his. but they argue and he's in a cell and he thinks that all she wanted was a champion; she paces, tugging at her hair, because if he wont stay to fight, what else would he stay for? he doesnt understand what he's asking of her, he can't. he's human, wonderfully, brilliantly, human, and she is not. she is ageless, undying, she is Yokai, and he will be gone long before her--long before battle nexus. she can give up battle nexus but then what? he will die, of age, something that won't take her, and them what would she have? nothing but pain and heartache. lou will leave, battle nexus won't. and she is right. because the cell is empty and he's gone, and she thinks he's dead. her valentines day blur with the rest of them--she has her business, she has battle nexus, she has meetings and work. (she has lou jitsu movies, an empty side of the bed, a painting, and a ring) splinter has his memories, a new body he has to get used to, a life he wont ever get back, but all of that has to be pushed down because none of that matters, all that matters are his boys.

post-proposal au where she says yes and they get married and the boys still exist because of course they do, its not rottmnt without them: huh. i need to think about this. because how would it work? would the still have an argument? like. theyre talking about kids. lou does not want to raise them around battle nexus. it always always comes back to battle nexus. draxum and the turtles and lou's dna. he is a rat man now and he's got four boys and he is overwhelmed. OR. the turtle bros ARE big mama/lou jitsu's half human/half yokai children who have been experimented on. OR are we doing a happy family they get raised with both parents au type thing. SO MANY OPTIONS. i need to figure that out before i figure out the v day situation bc otherwise like, i think their v day situation would be a mix of the first two, in that theyre happy and in love and exploring the best of both worlds.

(also YEAH i love the cool colors/warm colors thing they got going on, like, individually its great and then theyre next to each other and i am like WOW, loving it)

also like, disclaimer. the half human/half yokai idea i first saw in a fic on ao3, and then a few posts on tumblr (i think i reblogged a few, not sure) but the idea is one that stuck with me like wow. its both genius and painful

OKAY POST TWO im just rambling about some of my dreams i remember

it got to the point where i was thinking about lucid dreaming so much that? i started to have FALSE lucid dreams, like id dream about lucid dreaming IT WAS HORRIBLE..... thats why i stopped being so interested but. ITS BEEN YEARS..... take me back 🙏🙏 i think i used to have a dream jounral too cuz i heard itd make yr dreams more like. itd make it easier for you to remember yr dreams int he long run. i stopped cuz i dont really need it im pretty good at remembering but IT WAS A CUTE IDEA

i remember one lucid dream i had? i was at a museum and there was this haunted room with this freakty ghost girl just flying around being freaky and ghostly and girly and she had this cursed book you could read and i was like. oh. the letters on this page are like. flying arund and theyre all fucked (cuz sometimes in dreams, you cant like. TRULY COMPREHEND TEXT.. sometimes you think what yr typing is making sense cuz yr typing or reading it yr head knows what its trying to show youb ut. if you look at it its just NONSENSE its like when an ai generates an image with text its all fucked) so i ACKNOWLEDGED the sign i was dreaming, and ACKNOWLEDGED that i WAS in fact dreaming. and i said oh im dreaming. okay and then carried on with the dream not lucid at all. BUT I CANT BE TOO MAD... cuz it was a cute dream i like fell in love with this random guy there and we did museum date IT WAS SWEET...

SOME of my lucid dreams have been so. IT. ive had times where im actuvely FIGHTING to keep lucid and those ones never go well like IM TIRED.. having to exert myself and be like GOOD GOD JSUT LET ME HAVE THE DREAM... it does not work!!!!! other ones were so trippy and nauseating that like. IT. its like i was a screen and someone had like inverse mouse controls so when i looked around it went he wrong direction IT WAS ALL FUCKED and it was quite short but whatever

good fucking god im high as all balls right now and was just looking at antiques on facebook market place. i was in another fucking world for a minute. it looked like the inside of a history museum. theres a history museum in my city thats inside an old castle and its kind of cool as fuck. ive only been to it twice, once when i was a kid my grandpa took me. and then last year i went on a date with someone from tinder and we went there. it wasnt like awful or anything but i think we both mutually decided to ghost the other. cause they never texted me again and i didnt want to text them. so we just never spoke again 😭 kind of fucking awesome though. its really upsetting when one person is having an awesome time and the other person is thinking "how can i make sure we never speak again" and ive been on both sides of it. theyre both fucking awful. i got sidetracked as fuck i was trying to talk aboht antiques in a museum but suddenly i was dropping lore about my dating experiences. how does weed always do this to me

Het Spoorwegmuseum

(The Railway Museum) ‘’The most exciting train station in the Netherlands’’

Location: Utrecht, Utrecht, The Netherlands Price: 17,50 / Train workers 10,- Duration: 2,5 - 5 hours Transport: The train stop ‘’Utrecht Maliebaan’’ is right in the museum. I was standing on the sation of Utrecht deciding what museum to visit today, when i heard the broadcasting station voice say ‘’the train the Het Spoorwegmuseum leaves in 10 minuuts’’.

So it was clearly a sign. I went to the museum before some weeks back, but then there was a convention for miniature train builders. It was so full and warm in there that I immediately left and went to Het Waterliniemuseum. So today it was time to give it another try.

Take the train As a parking ticket costs 12 euro, they really want to push you to come by train. This because the museum is also an actually working train station. From Utrecht, you can go to platform 2 and take the train right to into the museum right next to the ticket scan. If you miss the train since it only goes once every hour, or half hour in summer. You can also walk from Utrecht Central and be there just as fast as the train. The first part of the museum is before the ticket scan, so you can go in there for free, this part already has an old station build in 1874, and you can go into Queen Juliana’s train from the 1950’s.

The old trains The main attraction is probably the olds trains that are parked there, some you can even walk in. The oldest steam locomotive here is form 1865, thats more than 150 years old! If you go outside, it will teach you more about the different jobs they're where, like the train chef or the railroad crossing guard. Outside is also a wooden waggon that was used to transport Jewish people to the camps. Inside you can listen to different stories from people wo surpived it or at least theyre story survived.

Active Learning In the lab you can do experiments that will teach you how train work, test out different wheels, or how does the break work with air pressure? At the end, you can design your own train, and make the exam to see if you can get the high score. At the Vuurproef you can step into a simulation to see if you could control a steam train.

Almost a themepark In the Steel Monsters part you can go inside a rollercoster, this really makes a difference. it feels like this museum is not just a museum, but almost a theme park. Since it also has a playground and a Jumbo Exspress, with is a outdoor trainrails for young kids, its like a mega miniature train.

Too much to see I only had 3 hours in the museum and i missed out on ‘’The great discovery’’ where you go into the mine shafts and see a replica of the very first steam locomotive in the Netherlands from 1839. And even ride on it if you go on the right day. I went to ‘’Dream journeys’’ But I missed out on the theater show they do daily. Lastly, I missed out on the turntable they have, where you can look at even more trains.

Would I pay the price: Maybe, it's a bit expensive but there's a lot to do

Would I revisit it: Yes i only had 3 hours to walk around and i didnt yet see everything

Who do I recommend it to: Young families, train workers, train enthusiasts.
