Tom Riddle is Head Boy. The best of the best. Top of all his classes. The perfect prince of Slytherin. Unafraid and unfazed by anyone and everyone.

Except…

You.

He cannot stand you.

Not that he hated you, but that he literally can’t stand when you’re around.

His knees go all weak. His breathing catches in his throat. His face gets all hot. And worst of all, he stutters and trips over his words.

It’s horrible. A taint upon his perfect reputation.

Tom Riddle is weak around you.

And he can’t figure out why.

It starts with Herbology class in fifth year.

Tom is working with some particularly stubborn Chinese Chomping Cabbages when one of them gets loose. It lunges at Tom, biting and snapping.

And then…

It stops in midair. Still growling and chomping away.

But now it’s held firmly within your strong grasp. One hand, tightly gripping the back of the cabbage. Like it’s a Quaffle, instead of a deadly chomping plant.

You look at Tom. Offer him a warm smile. “Brutal things, huh? Gotta be a bit more careful, Riddle.”

Tom opens his mouth. Prepares to speak, probably to say something smooth and bitingly witty.

All that comes out it is a squeaky, “Thanks.”

It is mortifying. Humiliating. And Tom can feel his cheeks heating as you hand him back the cabbage. Your fingers brush, and it’s like a spark of electrifying feeling.

Unlike anything Tom has ever felt before.

Tom is a bit obsessed, though he’d never admit it.

Within two weeks of your first interaction, he’d tripped over himself twice, stuttered over his words four times, and messed up his Herbology projects several times.

He couldn’t figure it out. You were just you. An unnoticeable guy with a love for quidditch and a caring attitude. There was nothing impressive or particularly special about you at all.

And yet, he finds himself following you around.

In just small, unobtrusive ways at first. He starts watching you in class more. Starts memorizing your specific routes to and from classes. Even goes so far as to attend one of your quidditch practices.

You, of course, notice him in the stands. After practice is over, you fly over to him, giving him a cheery grin. “Hey, Riddle. Fancy seeing you here.”

Tom’s face immediately gets hot. He hadn’t meant for you to see him, and especially not for you to come talk to him. “Hi…”

He can’t get out more than that. His tongue feels thick in his mouth, his palms suddenly sweaty.

Why were you doing this to him?

“So,” you lean on your broom, giving him a playful look. “What’re you here for? Suddenly feeling the quidditch spirit?”

“N-No…” Tom gazes at you, unable to look away for some reason. There’s a bead of sweat rolling down your forehead. It’s immeasurably fascinating. “I’m here for you.”

And suddenly there’s nothing less interesting than your face. Tom feels hot. Utterly embarrassed. Why would such a thing even dare to leave his mouth?

You seem just as surprised, almost falling over as you lean against your broom. “You—“

You recover quickly, rubbing the back of your neck as you offer him a shy grin. “You came here to watch me?”

“I—“ He feels paralyzed, mind frozen. “Yes.”

A strange warmth blooms in his chest as he watches a faint pink creep into your cheeks. It makes him feel gooey, like the fresh cookies the house elves make.

“I— I have to go,” he stammers, his own face hot.

“Wait—“ you call out, but Tom is already stumbling down out of the stands.

As soon as he gets inside the castle, he’s leaning against a wall, burying his face in his hands. Of all the things to say…

The interaction had been terrible. A mess of embarrassment and weird warm feelings.

He vows to never let it happen again.

It only gets worse after that.

By the start of sixth year, Tom’s curse is well known among even his followers. Most are unimpressed or uncaring. A few dare to comment on it.

It’s Abraxas Malfoy who clues Tom into what’s going on, all with a dumb comment.

They’re in the library, searching through a book on dark magic when you walk up.

“Hey, Riddle.”

Tom’s head immediately snaps up, his palms already starting to sweat. “Hello.”

You smile at him and lean against the study table he’s at. “Busy studying?”

“I— yes. We’re looking for—“ Your smile widens and Tom loses his train of thought. “For…”

Abraxas, watching Tom with narrowed eyes, clears his throat. Tom snaps out of his daze with a burst of heat in his cheeks.

“It doesn’t matter,” he says hastily, the words spilling out of his mouth. “You wouldn’t be interested in it.”

You tilt your head, giving him an unusual look. “Try me. I might be more interested than you think.”

Tom’s face heats even more. Why…? There’s a hint to your voice, a glimpse of a meaning beyond your words. Something that makes his heart beat faster.

“It’s— It’s just magic,” he stammers, gazing up at you. You look back at him for a long moment.

Finally, you nod. “Alright. I get it.” You sound almost… disappointed. “Just magic.”

Abraxas pinches the bridge of his nose. Tom flounders, unsure what to say. What had he done wrong?

“You can join us! If— If you want…!” The words tumble from his lips, a stuttery mess.

You tilt your head. Give him a look. Tom wilts a bit. He’s never felt so helpless before.

But then you offer him a small smile, and his heart leaps in his chest.

“I have quidditch practice in a few minutes,” you say, rubbing the back of your neck. “So maybe next time. But thanks for the offer.”

You give him a little wink, and Tom’s face gets hot all over again. “Y-You’re welcome!”

He watches you leave, unable to look away until you’ve disappeared around a bookshelf.

There’s a long moment of silence. Then Abraxas clears his throat. “I thought the rumors were exaggerated about your little crush, but you really are just as madly in love with him as they claim.”

Tom blinks. He stares at him. “What?”

Abraxas raises an eyebrow. “What? It’s painfully obvious.”

“I’m… I’m not in love,” Tom scoffs. But there’s a sinking feeling in his chest. Was he…?

Of course not. There was no way. And yet…

It would explain the weak knees. The red faces. The stuttered words. His odd fascination with you.

All of it, possibly explained by a simple crush.

“I’m not in love,” Tom repeats firmly. “He’s just… interesting.”

Abraxas gives him a dubious look, but doesn’t say anything. He just shrugs and goes back to looking at the book they’d been reading.

Tom stares down at the pages of the book, but the words don’t make any sense to him. His mind’s a mess, bringing up every instance of weakness around you to try and disprove Abraxas’ words.

He can’t be in love. He’s untouchable. Perfect. Without weakness.

But the more his mind thinks, the more he has to admit. Something is going on with him around you.

And he’d determined to figure out what.

you push the classroom door open. as if your mood being shit wasn't enough, the whole situation has given you a headache that's killing you, leaving you with little to no energy to go on with your day.

your eyes scan the nearly empty room, any hope of seeing hanbin quickly dying down. only woobin and yeji are here, you have no idea where beomgyu is and, honestly, you couldn't care less. the least you spend time in the same room as him, the least likely you are to commit a heinous crime that could get you a life sentence.

"where's hanbin?" you ask, turning to yeji. she hesitates for a second, handing you a paper with a sigh "this was already here when we arrived." you blink, confused, not even bothering to read the content of the letter. "he's officially resigning," woobin adds, as if it wasn't clear enough.

you shake your head, surely you heard that wrong, right? "come again?"

the door is pushed open, and then slammed closed again. "you heard them, hanbin resigned," beomgyu joins in the conversation, an insufferable smile plastered on his face.

"here we go," woobin sighs, expecting you to fight back. for some reason, that's enough to deter you from doing it, you already have a shit ton of issues - some bigger than you, than this student council and this school - adding to them won't do any good.

you finally lower your eyes to the paper, reading in disbelief its content. it is indeed a resignation letter, and it is indeed hanbin's resignation letter. you feel your hands starting to shake, "this is pretty much a confession, no?" beomgyu says, snatching the letter from you "should keep this safe, after all it's one of the few credible proofs we have," he gave you a fake pityful look "as if a picture and several texts where he admits to doing it were not enough."

you still can't process this. you are ninety- no, a hundred percent sure hanbin is innocent and is covering for someone else, but how could you prove it when his confession is right there, written on paper, ready to be used to expose hanbin's wrongdoings? you don't even know who he could be covering for

"y/n," yeji places a hand on your arm "i get this is a lot for you to take in, but we can't deny the obvious."

"yes we can," you say, ripping the letter from beomgyu's hands and folding it to put it in your backpack, earning several complaints by both him - loudly, because he can't shut up to save his life - and a few quiet ones from woobin, who is clearly fed up with the countless arguments the both of you have been causing.

"i refuse to let whoever framed hanbin get away with it, and i refuse to let him be a passive little bitch who accepts whatever the universe throws at him and just… lets it happen!"

You keep your eyes locked on the world passing by outside of the window, your hands interlocked on your lap to keep them from shaking as tears silently slide down your cheeks. You’ve been in the car for what feels like forever, the seconds feel like hours, the minutes like days as you nervously wait for your new life to begin.

By the time the car pulls up to a fancy, no doubt million dollar mansion, you feel reality truly set in, pursing your lips to hold in a sob.

Your door is opened, and barely a second later you’re pulled out roughly, tripping over your feet as you struggle to keep your balance.

You don’t have time to regain it before the man behind you forces you to move. “Jesus, be careful with her.” You hear someone speak, looking up to see a man coming out of the house with his brows furrowed. The man takes you from the last man’s arms, giving you a moment to get balanced on your feet again before he introduces himself.

“Hi. I’m sorry about him, my name’s Seokjin but you can call me Jin.” You nod, not trusting your voice at the moment. He offers you a smile before leading you to the doors to the giant mansion in front of you.

As soon as you enter, you feel your mouth drop open. The living room is huge, leading to a gigantic kitchen, with 2 hallways on each side and two grand staircases leading to another floor that overlooks the current floor you’re on. You know you shouldn’t be surprised, he’s a part of the mafia after all, there’s no doubt in your mind he makes easy millions, but this mansion is huge.

You don’t have much time to admire it any longer when the man, Jin, starts guiding you to one of the two staircases leading to the second floor.

You take one last look at the downstairs before Jin leads you down one of the hallways and into a room, closing the door behind the both of you. “I’m really sorry about this, the whole thing. It’ll probably be tough here for a while but even if we don’t really know each other, you can always reach out to me, yeah?” You nod, refusing to look at the man.

He sighs, putting on a small smile before leaving the room, closing and locking it behind him. You look around the room, it’s spacious, yet you still feel like you're being locked in a closet, the knowing of the door being locked gets to you more than you’re willing to admit.

Safe to say you feel trapped.

Absolutely, positively, fucking trapped.

You feel your bottom lip wobble as tears begin to cloud your vision. Falling to your knees on the floor before resting completely on the ground and curling in on yourself, muffling your sobs that seem to flow out freely.

You’re not sure how much time has passed, or when you finally managed to fall asleep, but when you wake up the sun is starting to set and you can hear voices moving closer and closer to the room.

You scramble to stand up, frantically searching the room for somewhere to hide, even if it won’t do much. You scramble to the closet when you can hear the voices clear as day, slowly closing the door behind you to ensure it won’t make noise.

You sit in the furthest corner of the decently big closet, making sure some clothes are shielding you from the door. You firmly press a hand over your mouth, tuning in on the conversation as best as you can.

Much to your luck, all you can hear is the mumbles of a few different voices, maybe 3.

You close your eyes when you hear the bedroom door being unlocked before the voices quiet down. “Where is she?” Yoongi speaks, sending a chill down your spine. “I locked her in here, she couldn’t have gotten out.” You hear Jin speak. “Then how the fuck is she gone?” Yoongi’s calm demeanor shakes you to the very core as tears begin to slip down your cheeks again.

“She’s probably hiding, Yoongi.” Jin says, taking you by surprise how calm and unaffected he sounds. “Then find her.” Yoongi says, then you hear multiple pairs of footsteps echo around the room.

You squeeze your eyes when you hear the closet door being opened, pressing your hand closer to your mouth to muffle a whimper that slipped past your lips. The man doesn’t seem to have noticed it, continuing to shuffle through the clothes.

You yelp when you’re pulled up, fighting against the man. “I found her!” He announces, dragging you back into the bedroom before throwing you on the floor. You whimper at the force, scrambling to sit up as your gaze shifts between the four men in the room.

“Fuck, Lee, be careful.” Jin growls, his concerned eyes resting on your figure. The man snorts, “I only take orders from Min, Kim.” Your eyes last land on Yoongi who’s sitting on the bed. He holds up his hand as he stares at the three other men present.

“You may all leave.” You suppress a shiver as you look down at Yoongi’s cold tone. You hear the footsteps of the three men move toward the door before it closes and silence envelops the space.

You scoot away when Yoongi stands up, snapping your head up, watching him with wide eyes as he moves closer. You stagger back when he takes a bigger step toward you, seemingly like he jumped, yet you don’t make it far when he leaps forward and grabs your hair, practically falling on top of you.

You yelp, fighting against him to no avail. He tugs harshly on your hair, pulling your head back for a moment and no doubt tugging out some strands making you whimper. “Fucking bitch.” He whispers under his breath, standing up and tugging you with him.

He drags you to the bed, throwing you on to it before getting on top of you. You push against him, smack him, and tug on him, to no avail.

The hold he has on your hair tightens before he lifts your head up slightly only to slam it back down on the bed harshly. “Will you just fucking stop?!” He yells making you sob, squeezing your eyes shut as you weakly push at him. He huffs before letting go of your hair, grabbing your wrists to pin them on the bed instead.

“Now, here’s how this will go, you will respect me, you will do as I say, and you will not try to escape. If you so much as even think about it, there will be consequences. Understand?” You shiver at his tone, a sob escaping your lips as you try to weakly tug your wrists out of his hold.

“I asked you a question.” You move your head to the side when he inches closer. “Answer me.” You whimper when the hold on your wrists tighten. “Y-yes..” you say weakly.

Yoongi finally lets go of your wrists but he doesn’t get off of you, you can feel the weight of his hands being pressed into the bed beside your waist. You risk taking a peak at him only to see his intense gaze still resting on you.

You whimper, pinching your eyes shut and turning your head to the side, curling in on yourself as much as you can under Yoongi. He’s silent for a few more seconds before he finally gets up.

You hear his footsteps echo around the room before you hear a door open, shut, and lock. Sealing you in the room, no doubt for the night if not longer.

You curl up fully, burying your face in your knees as you cry yourself to sleep.

WHAAAAG I LOVE YOU MINUTE/P !!!!! ok no one would really know much abt the carnival au because I haven't mentioned it really um haha. I did draw the moon for this au in Sundays daycare magma so yay if you need a face to the name you have one!

urm let's see here. so, for moon, I think his worst flaw is being unable to communicate properly. He struggles to keep things happy, he really does bring things down a lot and that's a flaw pushed on him by the process of his paranormal creation. what who said that.

sun's worst problem is his pride. he refuses to admit when he's wrong and he refuses to TALK about whatever he was wrong about. he's a 'drop it, I don't want to talk about this' kinda guy. he's a professional ghoster, if I do say so myself. totally not a pun linked to his paranormal creation. whaaat who keeps saying these things??? seriously this is crazy!!!

moon doesn't MEAN to push people away, he was made to operate a carousel, not make friends. But if he knows that someone is worth keeping ther, dedicated to staying with him, he can be soso clingy. he still has to rely on others though, otherwise he can't run, just like a music box. Sun has major people person energy, but he still gets so overwhelmed. He took on over 5 jobs around the entire carnival, between both entertainment and upkeep. so he has an overall energetic personality, bit when he burns out he burns out HARD. this makes him often irritable or overbearing for a lot of people, but he balanced it out between him and moon.

the fire. whenever the carnival closed down for the night. the missing kids. what happened to everybody else around here?

Ahem. So. My take under the cut (it got long lol).

I like the idea of them having no idea they're related, and starting out getting to know each other, and getting closer. Terzo encourages Copia to be more confident in himself, Copia allows Terzo to be more than just a Casanova type of guy when he's with him. They both see sides to each other that they don't show to everyone else, and they encourage each other to grow and change a bit as people.

But they keep their growing relationship a secret. Because a Cardinal and a Papa, together?? Someone would complain. Probably Nihil. So, Terzo and Copia keep it low-key and hidden from everyone else (except the other brothers. Primo and Secondo definitely figured out, and they may not get what Terzo sees in Copia, but he makes their little brother happy so whatever 🤷🏻‍♂️).

Their relationship crumbles when Terzo is dragged off stage and demoted, and it probably starts a self-hating spiral in Terzo which leads him to break up with Copia. Like, he's clearly not good enough to be Papa, so why would he be good enough for Copia (or anyone, for that matter)? It's a painful and bitter breakup, and they're both hurting. Copia probably makes a few attempts to convince Terzo to get back together, but that self-hate is just too strong.

And what makes it worse? While Terzo can confide in his 2 older brothers...Copia doesn't have anyone to talk to about this. It was a secret, after all. So, eventually, he becomes angry and bitter due to the pain and the unfair way Terzo is treating their (now defunct) relationship...and he comes to hate Terzo just as much as he loves him. He plays into this hate both as a coping mechanism, and to ensure nobody knows about that he and Terzo were involved. Everyone just thinks it's a rivalry, that Copia is playing it up to be cool and prove himself as the new frontman of Ghost. (See: that video of him playing one of Terzo's albums and trash talking him).

Then Terzo and the other brothers get assassinated, and it's Copia's time to shine. Of course, he's hurt by Terzo's death, but he pushes that pain aside and focuses on proving himself. That door (his relationship with Terzo) has been permanently closed, but a new one (being promoted) has opened. He puts Terzo in the past, and focuses on his own future. (Or tries to. Terzo's corpse being put on display probably not only breaks his heart, but also reminds him that he himself might be expendable too...).

Then, Copia becomes Papa. He's where Terzo was...but lasts longer. Makes the band (and its Satanic message) an even bigger deal. Maybe he's getting over Terzo, that pain now replaced with pride in himself and love from the fans. He feels more confident, he feels less out-of-place, he feels like he's finally where he's supposed to be. He's totally over Terzo now.

Except...maybe he's just lying to himself. Maybe he wishes Terzo was still here, to be proud of him. To share this joy with. Maybe. But Copia won't admit it.

Maybe he would if Terzo was resurrected. Maybe, after a lot of pain and tears and yelling and healing, they'd rekindle their relationship. Or at least try to. Maybe they'd find a way back to each other. And maybe Copia would reveal something that he's since figured out: that they have the same father.

Copia probably wouldn't care. He found such love with Terzo (twice!!) that he refuses to let something like being half-brothers stop him from loving that man. Terzo might need some time to process this, and Copia's worried and regrets telling him...but Terzo decides that he doesn't care, either. Maybe he even admits that he always felt connected to Copia (even before their relationship), in a way he couldn't explain...and now he knows why. They're brothers, so they were always destined to be part of each other's lives. But they chose to love each other in a different way, to actively create a relationship with each other.

Brothers by chance, but lovers by choice 💜💙

some details about one of my one piece ocs, Z here i should like draw proper ref of Z soon bc i think abt the little guy often. if i do talk about him more and draw him, i may just reveal his real name eventually

anyway theres really nothing happy about this boy from what i shared and i still have nothing happy. however the reason he even still holds onto life is because of books. he loves reading about adventures, whether the tales are from real journalists or something made up. it inspires Z to continue living on despite being chained down in hell

thats not what i actually wanna talk about, i just wanna talk abt something more lighthearted. while Z does appreciate all the strawhats, the ones hes most particularly fond of are luffy, nami, and robin

not that any of them told their stories, but that those four can really sympathize with Z. nami especially can relate with how Z believes he needs to shoulder everything himself to save his island considering hes only 13 enduring all this pain and suffering-- how he even refused to ask for the strawhats help until things were extremely desperate and that he had to accept that he really was powerless to do anything.

doesnt help that Z's "foster family" fed the strawhats too and how charismatic they are- Z thought that they were completely entranced by them so they wouldnt believe a word a bratty kid would say. and when Z felt completely helpless, he had pinned the blame on the strawhats and wished they never met bc things did go downhill for Z since his arrival

with robin, Z would talk about his favorite book and robin adores how he'd light up talking about it. not to mention him getting really excited when robin said she read the book before and gave him recommendations. (and as a parting gift, she gave Z a book she already finished reading. and it's about a kid his age starting their own adventure and writing everything about their exploits as they travel the world)

and with luffy, i'll admit was p hard to think about as hes not an easy character to write... but hes always been good w kids (AAAAUUUGJWHDIWHDK) and how theyve been inspired by him. what makes it harder to think about is how this kid has ace's face and acted similar to a younger ace. luffy felt a bit uneasy and Z just didnt like him at all. though theyre attracted to each other like magnets so kinda impossible to be separated without being pulled apart. when the strawhats went off to do their own things, luffy and Z somehow come across each other and it's like "stop following me!" / "you're the one following me!"

neither share what adventures they had and neither cared enough to ask. though Z was a little curious about who ace was and luffy bluntly says that theres nothing to know now bc hes dead. Z was about to pry bc ace had to be important to luffy but then again why should he care about this guy? he didnt care much about luffy and he was gonna leave soon anyway so they just left it at that. and as luffy gets distracted by a beetle on a tree trunk, Z suddenly disappears.

at some point though, luffy knew there was something wrong if Z couldnt just leave the place and people he claims to hate. and Z was startled by luffy's sudden interest in him and the island. he wasnt even sure if he could trust this pirate (esp when the 'rulers' were previously pirates !!) but he didnt feel ill intentions from luffy either so Z does tell him about the strict laws of the land which pisses him off gravely bc basically all of the people's freedoms are revoked and have to live a certain way if they wish to even live 👍👍

Z: "dunno why you're interested. you're gonna leave and forget about this hell of an island anyway. theres nothing you can do."

and again, Z cant trust others- especially not pirates. but the more time spent with the strawhats, the more respect and trust he gave. but he never once believed that they cared for him the same

i have had brain worms abt that text post u made yesterday abt like are lando and george so scathing with each other bc they know exactly where to aim that will sting the other or if it's bc they view each other as like, the "rivals" of their generation/rookie class and gOD it's taking me back to lando's discussions of how much he admired alex and wanted to be like him as a child, like there seemed to be almost this hero admiration when you listen to lando talk about how much he looked up to alex when he was younger whereas with george like. it has always been competition and rivalry, ofc with a dose of respect and seemingly genuine care for each other too. like as often as he jokes about sochi with lando, george gave a few different interviews not long after that abt how he reached out to lando just to make sure he was doing alright mentally and we all saw the little idek i call it half dude-bro hugs lando gave george after singapore and the way when they have been on pole or whatever they're always like "my money is on george/lando" like idk despite most of f1blr convinced they legitimately hate each other and want to punch each other in the throat, i think they rlly do care about each other. deep down. would take a lot to admit it to each other. but ya.

it's like sibling relationships. except lando always had that admiration/"i want to be like you" attitude with alex who was like. older and seemingly one step ahead and not really like competition until lando flew through the junior categories and suddenly caught up to him. whereas george was just. always the rival. it was always them pitted against each other. who would win f2. who will become a GP winner. who will be future champion. who will end up with more accomplishments.

i forgot to add lando's childhood hero worship of alex into the mix as well but yeah you're completely on point. there's this element of idk...adoration? he has for alex that he doesn't really have for george. also i feel like they're both "softer" with alex in a way first & foremost because of the type of person alex is; but also because of what he's been through ("alex has probably had it hardest"); whilst george/lando have no such qualms with each other. but even then they still have moments of softness between them (post singapore 2023 & post sochi 2021 as you said, but i think also post brazil 2022) and like. underneath it all they are still friends.

the point with lando flying through the junior categories is also so...*screams internally*. especially when you think of the way he still hangs out all the time with friends from his karting (& f4 & f3) days; i feel like lando has this thing where he refuses to leave anyone behind because he's actually Very Aware of how — maybe not "easy" but "smooth sailing" — he's had it virtue of him being both very privileged & very very talented. like up till now doors have opened for him everywhere he goes but he knows this isn't the case for 99% of people, not even george & alex who are literally™ in f1 right now and have seat security for the foreseeable future. so underneath it all i feel he does treasure them immensely because of their shared years together and the years they will share in the future & because they Know What It's Like. people make fun of the way the ferryman talks abt gabe all the time and i understand why but to me there's genuinely something really sweet here. like how poorly must heaven have treated the ferrymen that this one singular act of kindness from heaven's brightest angel caused them to put up pictures and statues of him and have A MASSIVE HOLO GABE IN THEIR OWN SHIP repeating his words of salvation to them over and over and over for the rest of time? not to mention the fact that the ferryman's theme is literally called "he is the light in my darkness", wherein none of the other songs off the OST are named after direct quotes ingame

very poorly, in fact, as gabe is described as "the only one who cares about [the ferrymen's] efforts" despite their intense devotion to beings that refuse to grant them solace (something gabe can surely relate to, even if he wasn't entirely aware of it yet). contrary to how he's normally portrayed, it's often implied that gabe actually does have the capacity to be kind (with even the terminals admitting that gabriel is favored to the council by other angels in heaven, in part due to his "radiant personality"), he's just not typically inclined to do so because of his devotion to god and, more importantly, his subordination to the council

BUT even then, he still actively goes against their wishes because of the ferrymen. gabe is the judge of hell, has been for however many hundreds to thousands of years. he's the only supreme angel around and, considering he saved the ferryman's life in the first place (when he very well could have just left them to rot considering they are not the only ferryman around), even before V1's arrival he didn't refrain himself to staying in gluttony all the time. he KNOWS that the idols exist. he likely knows that the council wouldn't approve of their existence. and yet he says nothing, considering they still exist at all when V1 comes around. and considering gabe basically did whatever the council asked of him and undoubtedly knew their policies, that has to mean a great deal.

logically, their relationship would be somewhat imbalanced bc of the way the ferryman basically worships gabriel. but in a world so cruel, where love unrestrained is punished and worthy of being sentenced to suffering? to love at all, even in worship, is worth something, i feel

Yes my anger girl. Let her commit crimes. I wanna write a post abt her but to resume i love her as a symbol of destroyed innocence (ha). A sweet gal who did helped everyone and was good n nice and disliked violence only to have her life ruined in so many ways that her inner frustration blooms into a divine wrath n bloodthirst. Like i said before I adore her relationship w Leon and how they made eachother better n then worse :). Plus, the manual describes her as strong hearted! She obviously loved Leon n was happy to see him! sacrificed her life in order to not turn into a vampire and instead stop Walter from harming more innocents! She has agency and her choice was crucial not only for Mathias convoluted plan but for the whole cycle. (Ppl stop forcing the "boring 100% sweet harmless never angry gal who always got dragged around by men as an object" archetype on her challenge. Yes i used to be like that but i got gud. If i can recover so others can)

And then she had to see how Mathias betrayed her n Leon and then tried to take him, and dealt w the mess that post-canon Leon was, both together but separated, furious and crushed on the other's behalf, until his death :). AND then she had to wait hundreds of years to avenge him only to have to kill the same bastard over and over and over again. Mix in vampire corruption and you have a caring but toxic Belmont Matriarch/Whip stuck in the cycle. So yea let her have negative emotions and commit crimes (Sorry John).

Also (x2)! A few of these were made in sort of a story I’d sometimes talk abt with a friend! But since we don’t talk much anymore, I’ve kind reworked my ocs into their own thing. (or made an attempt to without just completely redoing them).

I. Virek Sutcliffe (Diabolik Lovers)

Desc. AHHHH MY SWEET BABY BOY. Probably my most known oc idk. BUT YEAH. he acts as an alternate protagonist after you complete all the contact in the More, Blood game :D He’s a former experiment, who ended up in Kaminashi completely by chance. It’s the similar case of “wrong place, wrong time”, except with Virek comes a lot more chaos than usual. My entire purpose for him was to incite more animosity between the families, and indirectly cause Karl’s plans to absolutely fail. (which in the end he’s happy about bc he hates that guy).

but yeah. he’s a silent, odd, and downright IRRELEVANT and MISSABLE character, but so much so that he attracts chaos and eeriness and just freaks some of these guys out in the worst way. yeah :) (no art bc im still redesigning him).

II. Rowhin (Diabolik Lovers)

Species: Questionable!

Pronouns: They/Them

Desc. It’s a self insert imma be so honest. Its a s/i for richter bc i am down TREMENDOUSLY and delusional 😞 They act as a servant for them bc they met him at a convenient time. Technically they’re supposed to be helping him advance his plans to reunite with Cordelia. But you know. things don’t go that way and those two silly fucks end up catching a tiny teaspoon of feelings. (In which Richter will never actually admit bc it’s RICHTER. but i’m delusional and greedy so i can do what i want 🙄🤷)

III. Avard (Genshin Impact)

Age: Not specific (between 20 and 30)

Species: Human

Vision: Anemo

Origins: Khaenri’ah (birth), Monstadt (raised)

Desc: Yes ik I said his vision is anemo but in the photo is cryo. there’s a reason for that its bc he’s faking that’s not his. ANYWAYS. Bro’s technically from Khaenri’ah, but remembers absolutely nothing (and probably never will)— So he doesn’t consider it home since he has no connection to it.

Instead he was raised by a father and son in Springvale. But unfortunately after getting in between a father/son quarrel and trying to prevent it from escalating, he obtained a vision ‼️ and ofc nothing goes right and he couldn’t actually gain control over it, so he did de-escalate it. his adoptive father and newfound best friend died 🤷

so he ran away, changed his appearance and his name, and became sort of a scholar?? not really. he just wants to find some kind of answer as to why he feels out of place. he’s one of those characters that’s on the road with traveler a lot, but doesnt actually get involved unless it’s useful for him.

IV. Khalid (Genshin Impact)

Age: Not specific (mid 20s — early 30s)

Origins: Sumeru

Vision: Electro

Desc: Bro’s a ghost. Okay not like. Fr a ghost. But he’s like. NEVER SEEN?? He had one terrible day during early akademiya days and said “guess i’ll die” /j. He’s technically a Haravatat scholar, despite his methods of doing things being more fitted for Rtawahist; he just joined the former bc it had the least amount of students to worry about.

Desc. Previously a DL oc, i made him fandomless just for my own mental health. BUT! Nero is a Vampire & an artist. He specialises in painting and sculpting, and has made some of the most beautiful things the underworld has ever seen. Except none are marketed as his.

He was taken in by a prominent family of artists, who are going through a dilemma when the eldest son just ABSOLUTELY SUCKS. So in exchange for a home, and the ability to do what he likes, he acts as a secret proxy for the eldest. But yada yada things happen and an ‘accident’ ends up taking place, and Nero is taken in by someone else. Bro has to regain his love for the arts again, while also learning to be treated as something MORE than just a set of hands to make things :). (also i hate this design sm i wanna change it).

VII. Rook (Fandomless)

Desc. There’s not much too Rook other than them being a jester who pulls lethal silly pranks by trapping people in playing cards and swapping them around! Nah but to be completely serious, i love playing around w just full fantastical and magical characters, and Rook is one of them. Bro is technically a criminal, but hey they’re a jester you can’t arrest them!!!! it’s just a joke!!!

They wander around to every which place and just have a grand ‘ole time toying with people. But sometimes they will trap you inside of a playing card and use you for a trick! You may die! But it’s fine it’s just a joke!!!—

Desc: I don’t have a drawn out design for them, but I do have some general thoughts!! They live on a planet who’s population is incredibly advanced. BUT! Their basically a nobleman im a highly futuristic society, that has a general distaste of cyborgs. (Even minor things like bionic limbs). Unfortunately for them, they have a bionic eye (well its more like those things you see in dragon ball. but whatever) 🤷. Oops, big ‘ole issue when you’re the child of a man who has to run an entire planet’s population‼️

Species: Alien (humanoid, technically. but he is supposed to be a fire guy)

Desc: In the same universe as Bonnie ‼️ He’s a fire-oriented alien from a planet of different elemental guys, who each specialise in their own type of art. His specifically being welding/engineering. Unfortunately bro’s planet was DECIMATED when he was a child, BUT DON’T LOSE HOPE— he can just rebuild it 🙄 bc building is what he does 🙄 he’s just a funny, silly, heart on his sleeve guy who adores building.

Like Bonnie, he also has bionic body parts :D specifically mechanical legs! As a kid, he had a condition that made his legs increasingly weaker as he grew, so being the amateur master craftsman he was, he just made himself new ones. AND they’re fire powered because he’s cool 🤷 ( also his human form isnt what he actually looks like. his family specifically just chooses it bc fire is scary to others!)

ALSO! HE HAS A CAT. bro has a cat named Kalixo, who’s just a wandering spirit that likes being a cat form and being lazy and doted on. bro met pyro bc pyro was DUMB and ran into him (kicked him) by accident and cried for hours. Now he follows him around and acts as a voice of reason to keep pyro from being too STUPID.

X. Ezekiel (Fandomless)

Desc. A lot of my followers came here from DL, so vampires should be your thing. HOWEVER! EZEKIEL HERE IS A BIG ‘OLE BABY. A vampire who refuses to drink blood from humans, because be doesn’t want to put himself, or anyone else, in that kind of vulnerable position. He also: is a recluse. Seriously, a HERMIT. He holds himself up in an abandoned library that full of spirits and ghosts, and does not LEAVE.

avery lore.... im still pretty bad at thinking of things 2 mention unless asked direct questions but here are some extremely mundane things:

she can drive but she doesnt have a car. thats really boring. uh. lore. avery facts. all of her cutlery is silver, all her knives are silver, pretty much anything metal she owns is silver, same goes for her entire family so interacting with them, ever is gonna be a pain. (avery adopts gloves pretty quickly 2 be able to touch silver. and not get got by it (scarlet also does this quite often, u can see her wearing gloves in her introduction)) she doesnt have her ears pierced and now cant, because itd close up / reject immediately. (doesnt have them pierced bc she was always nervous about people ripping them out but more importantly just wouldnt be interested in wearing earrings) these are all really mundane facts. alive she was pretty neurotic about staying healthy (not bc she cares abt it for the sake of her wellbeing just parental influence 2 b perfect form 4 vampire murder always as long as possible) but she drinks a little more than she'd like to admit. (alcohol, not blood, though she drinks more blood than she'd like to admit, too. I guess. which isnt very much) is a little insecure about her nose crinkle when its pointed out but doesnt think about it outside of that. wears tall shoes so she can feel taller 2 the detriment of her ankles. works out exclusively from home refuses to do so in public spaces. she doesnt have much basic knowledge of subjects outside of tha supernatural... shes a little out of touch with non vampire hunter life, forgets most people actually dont think about vampires very much. after being forced to watch tv or movies she wont admit whether or not she likes something until the person she watched it with shares their opinion and she will lie accordingly (otherwise embarrassed) likes to be taken care of but wont let anyone take care of her becasue as you can see, shes LIKE THAT. modern day 2023 despite being much less pathetic, avery still tosses and turns all night (day) and scarlet has to put some weird asmr roleplay you're a worm and im making you a terrarium to thrive in (whispered) 3+ hour long youtube video in front of her to get any sleep. scarlet would totally make asmr actually. she'd make you're a wooden spork that i'm carving (DIY asmr, soft spoken). averys favourite blood type is A, not bc a for avery just because it tastes better to her. she doesnt know that in canon though. shes very intense about taking agnes to the vet whenever she does anything weird, shes always fine though and avery just gets got with vet bills. she found her in the bin. bin cat. meow. did i say that before? i think mightve sorry if that isnt fresh lore. avery & scarlet miss being warm it rly sucks being cold all the time. like. obviously. but like damn. that must suck, I hate being cold.

anyway I could go on.

the claws r naturally black but tbh she should paint them different colours 2 cope with the despair. theyre so inconvenient. she needs some kinda positive association with them. she has to custom order gloves to cover them up, cant just buy normal gloves bc the claws just. go through. they need to have a little point for her claws like little finger scabbards (she doesnt have claws on her feet but her toenails r also black 2 match. no reason other than i think itd look weird if they didnt. no intention of drawing her without socks on though so it doesnt matter-thats some lore.... other lore, the discoloured hands (like the greyness in some drawings i've posted) is a thing on its own aside from the claws, and does go away, but the claws are permanent. i think i said that though.

Gagamaru and I have one cat that was originally mine, Kabocha. He’s very sweet but is a bit flighty and takes a long time to warm up to Gagamaru; the first time I rlly have the hes the one thought is when I walk in on him napping on my couch w Kabo tucked into the crook of his arm dozing away bc!!!! It’s the first time he’s been comfortable enough to sleep on anyone other than me. Very himbo cat, absolutely gorgeous but total dumbass.

Kuroo and I have three cats! I had two and he had one when we combined households we were veeeeeeery careful w introducing them 🥺 he’s had a grouchy old lady for as long as I’ve known him. Her name is Suki and he took her in as a stray after an elderly neighbor’s son let her loose; she adores him and it’s slow going but she comes to adore me as well. I had a cat that passed a few weeks after I met him and then didn’t have any pets for a while, but then abt half a year before we move in together he stumbles across a trio of kittens on his way to a date w me and the date devolves into us getting them care……. One unfortunately doesn’t make it :( but I end up taking in the other two; they’re a lil girl and boy named Mizuki and Hoshi. Old lady is tolerant of them but they’re def a bit too energetic for her so the only times they rlly interact r when they’re in a puddle together napping…. Suki is the calico, Mizuki and Hoshi r the white ones! Once they’re fully grown they’re both bigger than her, tho Hoshi is an absolute unit and is the biggest by quite a bit

I believe I’ve said this once but. I have a perpetual series of completely normal housecats w Jing Yuan pfft I try my best but they have an unfortunate tendency of hunting his finches :( I only ever have one-three at a time and ofc I adore them all but I do end up w like fifty over the course of our lives together LMFAOOOOO including a few lil lineages where I kept many generations down the line!!! But the three that I’ve thought about r Jade and her kittens Bei and Feng (Yanqing named those two……) bc they’re the ones I have over the course of Mimi’s life. Mimi is a co-parent in their odd little pride, she and Jade grew up together and are very bonded n constantly exasperated by their rambunctious boys……. just like me and mine, though Yanqing and Jing Yuan constantly protest that comparison 🫣

i Have talked abt shanks before but its funny to me so. this lil scrawny tuxedo kitten ends up following me onto the red force one day (bc i fed it) and nobody realizes until we've set off.... i am told i Cannot name it or get attached bc we Will be leaving it on the next island....... except the crew ends up getting attached and they name it sharkbait. SHARKBAIT. FOREVER bitter NEVER getting over it every time shanks and i get into any kind of fight i bring it up "ALSO YOU TOLD ME I COULDNT NAME THE DAMN CAT AND NOW ITS NAMED SHARKBAIT YOU STILL OWE ME" (he will never stop owing me)

Lil bonus bc he’s been on the mind for months now: Capitano is not a cat person in fact when I first ask for one he gets me a pair of massive guard dogs that I stubbornly refuse to name at first and then end up calling Fluffy and Cuddles out of pure spite. Then I bitch enough that he does get me a kitten who Absolutely Fucking Despises Him tries to rip him to shreds every time he gets in bed with me (a week in he admits he finds it endearing but she does get kicked out of the room regularly when he wants alone time) I call her Lady she is a very elegant girl when she is not trying to murder him and actually gets along very well w the dogs, much to Capitano’s chagrin
