In case anyone else was wondering where I got the idea for the outfit I drew for María. It was inspired by the dresses commonly worn in Baile folklórico. María loves dance and she has definitely attended many of the “Ballet Folklórico de México” ensemble concerts.

Because I have the hc that she makes her own clothes, often using old techniques (she learned from the best lol) to stay grounded and close to her culture. I also hc that she made that outfit, inspired by the pretty dresses she’s seen in dance but she gives her outfits a more ‘modern’ twist and added her own sense of style to it. She’s a hot girl, would you expect anything less?

You know… when you love someone, what you find attractive changes. Perhaps you found grey eyes gorgeous and intimidating but now, looking into their brown eyes makes you feel warm and at home, they’ve suddenly become the only pair of eyes you could ever adore, no other shade of brown will do other than theirs. It’s just how it is, when you love someone, your wants and desires shape around them. That’s how you know you love them for who they are, because no matter how they look, no matter what physical changes they go through, it won’t take away your love for them.

I just cannot form an opinion on suns. I can’t get a good enough grip on them w my brain to know what the fuck I think of them. I just like their design and their name and the rest… idfk man they’re like an enigma to me

GODS YEA I FEEL THAT like- old art beware but look at this. my absolutely original take on Suns was: og design (we didn't have an official one at that time)

og take: best defined by the expression of the first picture. a quite literal definition of a Good Sport. a charming dude, on the jock side, who almost always smiles, is very calm and thanks to ridiculously high charisma comin off of him (him!!!!) no matter how despairing and cynical advice drops out of his mouth you'll take it to heart n try to stick to it

my perception of Suns back then could've been boiled down to "well-meaning charming trap"

and now? now my understanding of Suns is "bigger rock of a washing machine than the two iterators NAMED after rocks" but That came after like two months of pondering and taking out the gossip girl mindset
