Guys I just had a thought, why has nobody done this yet-

..I’m..not making one because god forbid I have another au to make content for but.. an idea.. what if the sirens returned.. what if they won.

Or just a simple what if they returned anyhow.. debating (I used twilight as a base, just to get the point across so I wouldn’t say this is definitively what she’d look like but you feel me right?)

I could see an apocalyptic scenario with them, because think of it like this,

It’s a quiet place, but YOU have the block your ears out instead of being quiet, for hearing the sirens call will infect your mind with brainless malice and hatred.. violence. You’re either caught in the wind of the beastly creature’s voices or you’re killed by those who were. The only way to avoid them is to block it out, at all costs.. rip your ears out if you have to.

It’s just a little idea I came up with, I’m happy to share more if you guys would be interested in that!

AH ah ah ah ah ah tytytyty okay okay okay okay okay SO

THESE are the sirens

They're from the 2014 My Little Pony movie Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks as the main villains. They have magic stored in their pendants that they can use to mind control people by singing, and they absorb energy from the people they mind control by making them fight.

And. They sound fucking amazing.

MLP:FIM has always been very inventive with vocal harmonies in its songs, especially because they have six leads to harmonize with each other, and that compositional talent FUCKING SHINES with these girls!!!!! They sound exactly like I'd expect hypnotic sirens who want adoration and praise to sound like, and their songs fucking slap.

Additionally, since they're the villains, they're allowed to be slightly less bubblegum cutesy in aesthetic and FUCKKKKKKKK does it come out in their attitudes and costumes and i am HERE for it. Like just look at this shot from the storyboard of their music video:

legit I listened to their songs so much I learned how to harmonize from their singing?????? they just,,,,,,,,THEM

Every time I watched their movie (yes its THEIR movie it belongs to THEM) I thought to myself that they didn't even need to hypnotize me I already loved and adored them just because they were that good heck i wanted THEM to win the final battle not the protags

and id LIKE to imagine that's just true in universe and after they got defeated and stripped of their powers in the movie yada yada they just. figured out it was their talent and not their magic that made people like them and became super successful music stars anyway. I feel like that would be both in line with MLP's acceptance of overly positive endings for everyone and the actual quality of their act.

Personality:

Melody Spirit is a kindhearted siren; she loves to sing in front of ponies to make them happy. Melody loves her sisters very much, although she sometimes views Adagio as her mother while she sees Aria and Sonata as her sisters, due to her having few little memories of their real mother before she passed away when she was a foal, but overall, she is very close with them. She also became curious about the surface world of the ponies due to her living in the sea most of her life in Equestria, so she became curious about the human world her sisters now reside in and wants to learn more about it.

Trivia:

• Due to the Sirens aging a little slower than ponies and humans, it explains why Melody's earth pony form and teenage human form looks so young, but in reality, Melody, along with her sisters, are a thousand years old.

• Even though Melody feeds on positive and negative energy to make her sing more powerful, she prefers to feed on positive energy than negative energy. She only feeds on negative energy while using her singing to stop ponies from fighting or having an argument.

• Unlike her sisters, who want to be adored, Melody doesn't care about it and just wants to make ponies smile with her songs and music.
