I have many mixed feelings about this ending. I don't necessarily care for it. But I also see why they choose this and I am not mad at it. (Except for the Gabriel statue. Screw that shit)(I hope Chat gets to cataclysm it at some point I need that poetic justice)

Main thing I am not a fan of is Adrien still knowing nothing. He has a right to know. He should have been there.

Main question is are they they same people since the universe blow up and was recreated. It makes me feel weird. Did they experience the same things and trauma? So many questions not enough answers.

I love how all the hero's get to be hero's but like can I still have my Ladynoir dates.

Remember kids! It's okay to lie to your family or significant other about important truths not only about themselves and who they are on a fundamental level, but also about how their father is really the man who's been torturing then for months now, mentally torturing them ON PURPOSE on more than one occasion.

If I took a shot every time I come across a post or a tweet or a reply talking about how Adrien has the right to know that his father was also the enemy, I’d be poisoned 1000x over.

YES.

He does have the right to know!

But this knowledge will also simultaneously crush him and destroy him completely with the circumstances he is in now! Marinette has been put in a hard place once again and has chosen to keep him in the dark BECAUSE she wants him to be happy! It is in her character to make decisions that would keep the people she loves happy whether it’ll blow up in her face in the future or not! 

Nathalie knew Gabriel was Monarque. Felix knew Gabriel was Monarque. Kagami knew Gabriel was Monarque. AND NEITHER OF THESE THREE HAVE BEEN VERY OPEN ABOUT THE TRUTH EITHER.

Marinette’s priority has always been to keep her loved ones safe and sound and she has lied in the past about things (especially regarding her identity) to keep them happy. You think she’s gonna turn around to Adrien and be like “Oh by the way, your father is the one who terrorised the city and the entire world whilst abusing the butterfly miraculous lol”?????

So easily????

To summarise. The decision she made is not an easy one and it is unfair too BUT we can see WHY she did it.
