It's funny how we condem Mike for pouring syrup onto his eggs, yet we throw eggs in cakes without batting an eye.

Egg by nature appears to be neutral before you do something with it. It can be used for so many things and consumed in so many contexts.

Now, considering the fact that Mike was raised in a household that presumingly didn't use spices (we've seen their chicken. It's not great), is it really that odd that he looked at something that tasted like nothing and poured something that tasted of something onto it? Turning the neutral vessel into a sweet breakfast dish.

I do judge him, but I really shouldn't, because I do pour syrup into my porridge and it probably tastes like more on it's own than those eggs.

Hi so I’m requesting Steddie (Steve and Eddie from stranger things) I just idk I have this idea where Steve and Eddie like hangout a lot after Eddie leaving the hospital and his name was cleaned and Ms Wheeler invites everyone for a dinner party and Holly started talking to Eddie and he read her a book and play with her and so they were like besties and later in the day Mike asked him to do a campaign for Will and then Nancy wanted to talk to him about the bi crisis she was going through and they are besties and then Ms Wheeler asked Eddie to help her in the kitchen and so Steve was jealous and then idk Ted Wheeler actually being nice and talking about the weather with Eddie and Dustin and everyone thinking Steve was jealous because everyone loves Eddie but actually he was jealous the Wheelers were taking Eddie from him something like that hahah btw love your writing a lot x

"Eddie the banished" very soon turned into "Eddie the beloved", as it seemed.

He pretty much became everyone's favorite at the house party the Wheelers threw: Steve now started to wonder if they actually only organized that event to celebrate Eddie, and all the other guests were just there as decoration.

Not that Steve minded. Eddie deserved all the love he was getting after being hated and hunted by the whole town for a crime he didn't commit, and after the insane amount of trauma he went through. He saw people being killed, he suddenly met an armada of terrifying monsters, then nearly got killed by some of them. He was fresh out of the hospital, still healing from his injuries, and Steve actually really liked seeing him getting better and better.

After the doctors released him from the hospital, Steve has taken it upon himself to be there for Eddie as much as possible. They spent quite a lot of time together, and Steve had to realize that he has grown quite attached to the guy he used to think of as a freak.

Actually, Eddie was sweet. He was quirky and strange, but he had a very kind heart, and he was one of the bravest people Steve has ever met. He was very good-looking too, Steve had to admit.

So, no, Steve didn't mind Eddie getting attention. He just wanted to be the only one giving it to him.

He always lingered behind, watching as Eddie played with Holly. He couldn't help but smile softly as the little girl climbed into Eddie's lap, demanding a story. How could anyone believe this boy was dangerous? He might have been a metalhead, with long, unruly hair and in ripped denim and faded leather, but if you spent more than one minute with him, you immediately realized just how sweet he actually was.

Warmth spread through Steve's chest as he watched Eddie reading from a children's book, doing exaggerated faces and sounds to entertain Holly. His cheeks were still pale and scarred from the battle with the demobats, but his eyes shone like a million stars. Steve's heart fluttered when Eddie looked up and their eyes met for a second. Eddie gave him a small wave, and Steve waved back awkwardly, his cheeks pinkening.

He really wished he had the courage to go and talk to Eddie. Once Holly went off to play with someone else, Mike took her place and started nagging Eddie about some DnD campaign for Will, a conversation from which Steve didn't understand a single word. He scoffed and moved away, hoping that if Mike was finished, he would get a chance to be with Eddie.

No such luck. Nancy swooped in and took Eddie to the side. They were clearly talking about something deep and personal, because Nancy was blushing and Eddie seemed to be comforting her. Now, Steve knew Nancy wouldn't go for Eddie (especially because it seemed like she was more interested in Robin lately), but the spikes of jealousy wouldn't leave Steve's heart as he watched them embrace.

The Wheeler parents stole Eddie next. Even Ted was more talkative than usual, actually making an effort to make a conversation, while Mrs. Wheeler entrusted Eddie with helping out in the kitchen. Steve watched this all happen with increasing frustration.

Obviously Dustin, as observant as he was, noticed that Steve was fuming.

"You're not jealous he's getting all the attention, are you?" He questioned Steve, eyebrows raised. "That's not like you."

"No, not at all," Steve replied quickly, "he deserves all the attention after what he's been through."

"But something is bothering you," Robin added, "I can tell. You've been eyeing him all night."

"Am I that obvious?" Steve chuckled, his cheeks turning a deep shade of red. "No, it's just, uhm... we've grown closer after he got out of the hospital, and I... I guess I just kinda miss being the only one there for him."

"Oh, you like him," Nancy said softly, "so you're jealous of everyone."

"You guys kept stealing him away the whole night," Steve huffed. Dustin laughed, shaking his head at him.

"God, Steve. Just go and steal him back, then!"

"Steal who back?"

They all turned around to see Eddie standing in the doorway with a curious look on his face. Steve honestly thought his heart and head would both explode when Eddie gave him a small smile.

"You," Dustin said easily. Steve groaned and slapped his arm, making the younger boy let out a loud "ow" sound.

"Oh, well," Eddie chuckled, "I might have been basking in the attention, I admit."

He looked at Eddie, his smile widening. "But I'm more than happy to indulge you, too."

Good Lord, Steve thought. He thought he was going to die from not being able to be close to Eddie the whole night, but he might actually be dying now that Eddie sat next to him on the couch. Nancy and Robin fled the room to give them some privacy, dragging Dustin with them.

"So..." Eddie started after some quiet, "why are you so jealous of everyone?"

"Erm..."

That was all Steve was able to say. Eddie's eyes were so beautiful, and he looked so genuine, and kind, and his knee brushed Steve's.

Deciding he needed way more alcohol in his system to be able to tell Eddie why, he reached for his glass.

He felt Eddie's curious eyes on him while he drank the liquid courage.

guessing st characters fav season (the party: pt1)

mike: he's a winter bitch. he goes alll out to make snowmen and forts (snowball fights are Not his specialty, ask lucas and will.) and wears his lil mittens and scarves (sweater wheelers you will always be famous.) he loves giving and receiving presents <- love language. drinks hot cocoa year round. has those like weird patterned fuzzy socks yk the ones with the ugly plaid. omg him and nancy and holly making gingerbread cookies. mike let's his cookie soak in milk and then drinks it (he's gross)

will: summer, he hates being cold, even before the mindflayer. i think he likes swimming too and he can swim pretty well :). also listen that s3 outfit with the navy blue shirt with the red and yellow accents and his jean shorts.... top 3 gayest will byers looks. his fav drink is lemonade (OMG WHAT IF LIL MIKE WILL LUCAS AND DUSTIN HAD A LEMONADE STAND.) i hc him as someone who hates shoes and socks (same) and walks around his house barefoot. barely uses the ac, he's a electric/ceiling fan enjoyer. he also needs the fan for white noise.

el: i know a spring lover when i see one! she loves flowers and i can see her being a bee defender. (insect lover el??? beekeeper eleven hopper??) i think in later years she might pick up gardening, i wouldn't be surprised if will painted her a flower or a flower patch/field or if joyce got her a plant <3. also she's into the flowy/sun dresses and sneakers scene (leave the quirky lesbian alone) learned to make flower crowns and max braided some flowers in her hair once. will showed her honeysuckles and she loves them. (mmm honey) 100% the person to walk through the woods and try to eat every berry she finds ("el you are sitting in poison ivy", "what is poison ivy?")

lucas: cold weather haters unite! (summer lover.) he seemed so happy in s3 and it had allll his best outfits (i'm a s3 defender, you can pry lumax s3 from my cold dead hands.) his fav drink is iced sweet tea. he likes taking max on ice cream dates, also so they can say hi to steve and so max and bond with his coworker. i can imagine him buying max a floppy sunhat from the mall. like a DORK he wears sunglasses to make himself look cool but max steals them all.

dustin: ok pretentious ass "autumn" enjoyer. yes he would correct you when you say fall. i feel like he would like spring too (also an insect enjoyer), he treats groundhog day like a celebration. anyways back to fall, he's a cardigan kinda person and sweater enthusiast. mike steals his sweaters and then denies it when he gets caught. ("is that mine?" "no?????" and the sweater is literally hanging. it is too big for him.) dustin organizes the group pumpkin patch trip AND the apple orchard picking trip. more love for dustin what would they do without him

max: fall and summer for her! look me dead in my face and tell me she's NOT ordering a pumpkin spice latte. yeah that's what i thought. she loves halloween and of course she loves summer break. she doesn't like spring bc of the excessive pollen and allergies and not winter because she's used to cali heat. summer is just what she's most used to and it gives her a lot of freedom (she's not a morning person.) fall has crunchy leaves and warm fleeces and summer has warm afternoon naps and her favorite fruits. colder weather always comes with the helping of seasonal depression, good thing she has her friends <3 who will always be there for her. unrelated: she believes in the spirit of april fools. no one is safe (i thought it needed to be said)

groups i want to see in stranger things but probably won’t

lots of these will never happen but i would love to see their interactions :) also there’s a lot of robin here mainly because im so excited to see her properly interact with the rest of the gang. 

robin and nancy - ok so this one actually is happening and im extremely extremely excited about it. firstly, because nancy needs a friend after barb. secondly, they’re so different and i love them so much but for such different reasons so im intrigued to see what their interactions are like.

murray, nancy and mike - i’ve talked about this before but this trio would actually be so iconic. the angst would be through the roof, they would all hate eachother so much but like slightly less than they hate everyone else and they would be so done with everyone else. 

          and by extension of this

nancy and mike - as i’ve said before i am extremely annoyed that we get like zero nancy and mike content. like they would be amazing together, the dynamic would just be incredible. plus they’re my two favourite characters and this is honestly my biggest gripe with the duffer brothers, like GIVE US WHEELER SIBLING MOMENTS.

joyce and robin - ok i got the idea for this from this fanfic (which i highly recommend) and i just think they would be so soft. idk how to explain this one i just think they would be super cute.

will and dustin - i wish we saw these two interact more, like i feel like dustin would really make will laugh and they would just have cute friendship moments. i also just want the original four boys back again, even just for a bit, because i liked the group dynamic even though we’re completely robbed of it.

jonathan and robin - ok so they would get along so well. nobody can convince me otherwise they’ve both got little “im quirky, im a loner” complexes and i love them for it and i need to see them be little outsiders together.

steve and eleven - i can’t be the only person who thinks this would be adorable, like i can just see steve showing el movies and being like a big brother (tbh i think steve and eleven would get on better than jonathan and eleven as siblings) idk they would just be so soft.

lucas and hopper - they both see right through mike’s bullshit and i love that for them. again i dont know how to explain it i just think they would be so funny.

nancy, robin and max - three badasses who take nobody’s shit. we might actually see this in s4 but i like want just a scene with the three of them cause i feel like there isn’t enough female friendships/solidarity in the series.

erica and mike - again two people who literally get annoyed with everyone and i want to see mike get highly annoyed with erica and erica just not caring. this will literally never happen but idc.

robin and mike - 1. mike would tolerate robin and robin would tolerate mike at first but they would actually grow to be super close and i want this with my entire heart. 2. gay and lesbian solidarity

will and eleven - ok so i know this is actually happening cause they’re siblings but they would be so soft omg. like i want to see scenes of them at school looking out for eachother and im soooo ready for it. (also the people who say that will would hate el.... like are talking about the same will? like its just not in character for him in my opinion) and ik that noah and millie get along very well so im excited to see their on screen chemistry.

anyways these are the ones im mainly hoping for (though most will never happen.... sigh) but im interested to see what others want to see.

a not-so brief analysis of possible deaths in s3

G’day mates! (I’ve been watching too many interviews with Dacre lmao). I’ve been wanting to make this post for awhile. I basically will go through each Stranger Things Season 3 main character’s chances of whether or not they will die - because we all know one of them will. Here it goes. 

The Party

Mike - Mike has always been one of the leading protagonists of the show. He has been well received by pretty much everyone, having little or no haters. I think it is unlikely Mike will be the one to die because he is so important to the plot and the other characters’ (and fans’) emotional value. However, Finn Wolfhard is an incredibly busy young actor and ST’s shoots last months so he might want to clear his schedule. Also, Mike’s death would have a serious impact on the others, especially Will and Eleven. It might prove to be a strong force of motivation for whatever finale the show has.

Eleven - I honestly don't see how killing El would do anything other than break the hearts of fans all around the world. ST is said to have another two seasons after s3 and quite frankly the show just wouldn't be the same without her. I won’t be too worried about Eleven until the last season (and then I'll be terrified).

Lucas - Lucas has gotten a lot of unnecessary hate from the fandom because he didn’t trusts Mike’s judgement when the latter hid a strange girl with super powers in his basement without telling his parents. It’s easy to see this as stand-offish behavior, but Lucas is actually the reasonable one. Yes, he’s cautious, much more so than Mike or Dustin, but people seem to forget he goes and spies on the lab by himself, figures out they’re being watched, alerts his friends, and forgives Mike, all while persevering in his search for Will. Still, Lucas is most people’s least favorite party member. He would seem like a poor character to kill, because not many fans would care very much, even though everyone on screen would be devastated. Hopefully, after s3 Lucas gets the love and appreciation he deserves. 

Max - Max is still pretty new to the show. She is well-loved by the fans and the characters on screen. Plus, her new friendship with El has everyone super pumped; their would be riots in the street if she was killed and that ended.

Dustin - Okay, but does anyone actually not like Dustin? He may not be everyone’s absolute favorite, but no one actively hates him. And why would they? He’s smart, quirky, adorably, nerdy, and provides the vast majority of the comedic relief. The show wouldn’t  be half as fun without him. The show writers know this too. I think Dustin’s pretty safe for now, at least from death (the end of the second trailer did NOT look good for him). 

Will - Sweet, darling, innocent Will. Precious Will who’s never been given any sort of break from that goddamn writing team. Although I think Will is in for more (largely undeserved) pain and strife, I don't think he will bite the dust just yet. 

The Teens

Nancy - Nancy is one of the primary female characters, as well as Mike’s older sister. She’s previously been through some real shit, lost her best friend, lost one boyfriend, gained another boyfriend, and will be struggling with misogyny in s3. Nancy has gained some haters, but they are often overlooked because her fans are fierce. I don’t think the Duffers or Netflix want an army of feminists showing up at their door because they killed off Nancy Wheeler. She is shown in mortal peril in the second trailer, and her death would greatly impact Jonathan, Mike, Steve, and the entire fandom. I personally think she will pull through, but it could really go either way.

Jonathan - Will’s only brother, Joyce’s support system, Nancy’s boyfriend, Jonathan has a lot on his shoulders. Not many people know him, but those who do love him dearly. His death would hugely impact many main characters, without damaging the plot. Yeah. This might not end well for Big Brother Byers . . .

Steve - Oh, Steve. We love Steve. Things were not looking good for everyone’s favorite babysitter/Single Mother Supreme after the first s3 trailer dropped. I would be seriously concerned, however one of the lead writers stated that the day Steve Harrington dies is the day he walks off the show. And, to the best of my knowledge, the writer is still signed on. 

Robin - Robin is a completely new character. We have been given very little info on her whereabouts in the show. This has not stopped fans from immediately falling in love with her though. It is highly unlikely they would kill off such a new and popular character.

 Billy - The new host of the mindflayer. Doesn’t sound too good, does it? But Will survived. Most people seem to think he’s doomed, but I personally believe he’ll make it out. Mentally fucked? Hell yeah. Dead? Not today. 

Heather - . . .  let’s all take a preliminary moment of silence for Heather. Seems like she’ll be taking a page out of Barb’s book and dying before we even get fully introduced to her character.

The Adults 

Hopper -  Hop appears to be in trouble. Fans are already speculating his death. It would be devastating, but . . . so many issues would be created. Where would El go? Probably the Byers. But who would deal with all the crazy Upside Down bullshit? That’s harder. David Harbour’s extreme commitment to the show acts like a shield protecting him from death. 

Joyce - I think she’ll be fine. Worried, frazzled, constantly smoking like always, but she wouldn't die, would she? Will and Jonathan still need her. Plus, what would Stranger Things be without Winona Ryder?

Bruce - Following the B Name trend (Benny, Barb, Bob) he will most likely kick the bucket before the season’s finale. Very little has been revealed about his character, but I already kinda want him dead.

Murray - He’s fucking hilarious and I hope he's okay. I don’t know though. He helped expose the lab. That can’t sit well with some folks.

Mayor Kline - Still not sure what his point is. I really don’t know. He lives?

And also 

Erica - She lives, or I’m suing. ’Nough said. 

Phew. Long post. I think the Party’s safe for now, and the adults are probably fine for the time being as well. The teenagers all seem to get themselves into sticky situations and they can’t all be getting out safe, amiright?
