🤎 Mondo/Mikan 🩷

First impressions, they were both overwhelmed from each other for opposite reasons. Mikan because she saw Mondo as very strong and intimidating, and Mondo because of her over dramatic anxiety and apologizing. But when Mikan would trip, Mondo would help her up, and he would stand up for her.

The more Mondo protected Mikan, Mikan felt more comfortable around him and would take care of him in return whenever he had the slightest injuries. They both have each other's backs no matter what.

Mikan feels especially safe when Mondo holds her in his strong arms, and it comforts him to have someone to protect.

With the traumatic life Mikan has lived, Mondo is horrified but also angered when Mikan opens up about her experiences, but the anger stems from those who have abused her.

Mikan is terrified of being on a motorcycle, especially with someone as brash and reckless as Mondo, but she tried it at least once, which Mondo appreciated.

While Mikan isn't very fond of riding with him, he always tells her about it when he gets back to get patched up. The stories could intimate her, but she loves seeing him talk about what he is passionate about. Especially when he confesses to her his goal of being a carpenter and being useful to others.

Mondo's toughness and daring nature inspires Mikan to be more adventurous and also stand up for herself more. Also, while Mondo does stand up for her, he also encourages her to not let others push her around.

Mikan's empathetic and sensitive ways bring out Mondo's more emotional and caring side that he tends to hide from most.

While their contrasting personalities can bring out the best in each other, it could also cause problems. Sometimes Mondo's anger and impatience frightens Mikan, and Mikan's odd, overly obedient or overly sensitive personality can be a bit much for Mondo, but they work through these struggles together.

For expressing love, Mikan would go completely above and beyond with caring and providing for him, as well as giving him little gifts that reminds her of him. Even throw in a fun fact about hearts and blood every now and then. Mondo's expresses his love by protecting and supporting her, opening up to her in spirit of honesty and loyalty, and showing off his skills and strength.

❤ Whenever you fall over she will just watch you. If she was one to make facial expressions, she'd have a terribly strong look of defeat. Sometimes she wishes she could help you but most of the time she just accepts it as this is the way it is. A lot of the people around her always scramble to help you up, and that is something she finds completely interesting. She likes that aspect of your dramatic falls it a lot.

❤ That's not how it works, though, and even though she understands that better than most, she pretends not to.

❤ Before the two of you started dating he'd go out of his way to make you fall on purpose. Sometimes he'd just straight up push you over. He doesn't do this anymore (and doesn't even think about it) but-

❤ He is incredibly straight forward so his playful jabs at you went from being directed at your way of speaking to being directed at how you must be a bimbo or all-looks-no-brain to the point where you found yourself wondering: does he think I'm attractive?

❤ Which ^ even though he laid it on thick, your insecurity made you unconvinced.

❤ He tries to antagonize himself but no matter how much he scares you, you were still kind to him and wanted to help him with whatever he needed from you.

❤ You make him blush like no tomorrow.

❤ He will literally treat you like royalty once the two of you get together.

❤ He makes sure you feel secure and he makes sure nobody ever picks on you. He will socially destroy anybody who dares try and bully you or harass you.

❤ Sometimes he will get rather fatherly and do things like brush your hair while you ramble on - this is an activity he considers to be something along the lines of a form of comfort whenever you are stressed.

❤ You weren't very secretive about your trauma. When you had told him, he was very taken aback. Afterwards, it would cross his mind whenever you looked at him with that wavering smile you have.

❤ It keeps him up at night sometimes. He's never thought about somebody else's mishaps before, and he's never thought to.

❤ Your hair is something that is a work in progress because all of the disorganized hubba jubba is very unclassy. He needs it to get even lengthed (nothing else matters to him, just, can your hair not be choppy, please?).

❤ Whenever you fall he will sigh (sometimes dramatically).

❤ Sometimes he helps you up.

❤ Sometimes he just watches you.

❤ And sometimes when you fall into him, he will completely gasp as if you've offended him (with his cheeks bright pink).

❤ There's also some of him opening his mouth to ask can you hand me my glasses before being like nooo noo I shouldn't say that.

❤ He does like the sight of you in business casual, the sight gets him a bit flustered (a bit pink in the nose, if he were to say so himself {get it? that's layered. i'm so funny}).

❤ Sometimes the buttons of your shirt break and he will strip off his top coat and make sure it covers any of your mishaps.

❤ Your constant apologies doesn't annoy him, actually.

❤ You get caught off guard whenever he looks at you with amazement in his eyes. Every single time you're like oh no, he's gone insane but no he is just genuinely in love with you.

❤ ^ Like before the two sleep at night, while he's peeling away his tie and unbuckled and unbottoned everything on him, he likes to have casual conversations, which is something you very much were unprepared for when you first started sharing bed. It's unsuspected to you, especially the way his glances give you the impression that he actually wants to hear what you have to say, therefore, the impression that he vaguely considers you his equal.

❤ Astonishing! It makes you flustered, but not as flustered as he makes you when he sleeps on your chest. Such a vulnerable position...

Kaede Akamatsu

❤ She never hesitates to help you when you fall, and this also goes for metaphorically, too. Whenever you are insecure or unsure, she will not hesitate to boost your moods and your spirits. She loves seeing you when confidence fills your face, it makes her feel good as well, knowing she can instill worthy faith into somebody she cares about.

❤ Sometimes, even when you're crying, she's going to grab your hands and start doing cheerleading poses with them. It makes everybody else in the room observe awkwardly.

❤ She can teach you how to play piano without stuttering, she can teach you how to take care of things like your fingers, and you can teach her how to take care of her hands if they were to get injured. It makes her very happy to know that you can provide quick medical treatment.

❤ She can and she will braid your guys hair together.

❤ She will also, while she's at her performances, make announcing vocalize that the piece goes out to you, so that even from a long distance you can know that she is thinking about you.

❤ Also speaking of you falling, you know she is going to like 100% glance up your skirt for at least a second whether on accident or purpose.

❤ She loves the nurse outfits that you put on sometimes. They have her saying flirty comments.

❤ She flirts with you a lot! It makes you all blushy, which causes her to say more things. She always kisses your cheek, or your forehead, or all over your face just to make sure you know she means the compliments she gives.

❤ She will leave little notes around for you to find, too. And she tries to slip notes into your lunches for work.

❤ ^ She is always busy, though, so it doesn't always work out. Whenever she can't sneak one in, she makes sure to just text you it instead.

❤ No matter how much practice she commits herself to and how many performances she has to travel to go to, she always reaches out.

❤ ^ Pshh she thinks about you all day every day, how could she not?!

❤ She takes your insecurity into deep consideration.

❤ Always asks if you're okay with the sweetest voice in the world.

❤ The apologizing and the self-deprecation is language she tries to break up, and she does succeed in changing your word choices, as she reminds you every time your brain doesn't. She's trying to get that negative affirmation business out of your mouth.

❤ She just loves how much you listen to her! If she gives advice then you're going to remember it, which is something that doesn't often happen to her, since even though she gives people tons of help, she finds they tend not to listen to her.

❤ You're a big listener.

❤ ^ (And you're a big listener when it comes to her playing piano at all hours of the night).

Mondo Oowada

❤ Grabs you with one hand and keeps you in his elbow before just carrying you around like that. This is fall-proof.

❤ A big romantic moment shared between the two of you is the moments that happen when you bandage him up.

❤ ^ He'll be all scrapped from hanging out and it gives you a happiness that only a nurse who loves their shirtless boyfriend can achieve.

❤ ^ He sits on the bathtub, often with an irritated look on his face, as you clean him up. He's not irritated at you, of course. He just looks like it when it comes to being so complaisant.

❤ He likes sleeping on his back while you lay on his chest. When he can't sleep, he'll just lay there and play with your hair.

❤ He knows how clumsy you are so therefore, he is very careful whenever he manages to get you on the back of his bikes. He might just install some strange form of a seatbelt just so he can make sure you don't fly off. He drives a lot of the time with you in front of him, too.

❤ Will literally just threaten to run anybody over that you are uncomfortable with - like, even if they aren't doing anything wrong, oh you're uncomfortable, say goodbye to them! (he doesn't actually do it).

❤ The presence of him behind you is a very protective thing, for sure! And he likes following you around because of it.

❤ Sometimes when he's off with his gang, one of them will get hurt, and he'll be like. "Yeah well, you know, what you're supposed to do is grab something or whatever and wrap it, I guess."

❤ ^ Very intelligent (he thinks he knows better than them because he's seen you put on a bandaid - who cares if it's a common practice, his baby is a nurse, god damnit!).

❤ He's :. less worried to get hurt in the long-run. You always get a lot calmer and a lot more natural-seeming whenever you are bandaging him, he considers that side of you to be the real you: a you without the anxiety and apologies and guilt.

❤ Which, he handles those traits as if they were nothing at all, which is both a bad and a good thing.

❤ He'll never get offended by your insecurity or your bad demeanor. He will never get mad at you for it and he will certainly never blame you or him for it existing.

❤ That does mean that he will hardly console you, instead throwing a teasing remark and patting you on the back, thinking that that is enough to calm your nerves.

❤ A part of him knows he can be doing more, but the idea of it makes him uncomfortable. He's not to good at that kinda stuff, and it's not as if he wants to, either, with is his selfishness peaking through (which he is well aware of). You always be making him scratch the back of his neck while looking off to the side.

❤ He comforts you physically, though. He will always pick you up or surround you with his warmth or pat your head or shittly massage your back. Actions speak louder than words!

❤ He does his best at consoling you when he doesn't even realize he's doing it. Sometimes, when the two of you are alone, he will just sigh in relief and say a casual line about how grateful he is for you and how much he loves you.

❤ Which, can sometimes come out as, "Wow, man... you're the perfect chick for me."

❤ Mmm! And when you get him flustered, and his loud voice starts scaring you, he will panic and just start whispering.

Mondo Oowada Ship Dynamics

Just my opinions and personal Headcanons - if you don't like/agree with these, then please move on!

Assume these are all based in an Non-Despair AU!

Ishimondo

A classic ship. Absolute *chefs kiss*.

At this point it seems canon with the amount of shippers and fan content for these two. Don't get me wrong, I love them just as much as anyone, but even I can admit that they each have other respective ships that can be enjoyed just as much.

Anyways - Ishimondo!

Absolute dorks in love + nothing but respect and love on their parts. It takes a while for them to realize it's a romantic love instead of some brotherly bond as Taka puts it, but once they figure it out it's smooth sailing from there.

Taka encourages rational behavior and responsibilities, whilst Mondo encourages relaxation and realistic ideals. Together they're a good dynamic.

Nerd x former bully/moral compass x delinquent/rivals to lovers. A recipe for success.

Since they've been talked about to death, I won't elaborate much more on them.

But overall, they're a great couple together.

Owamiki

A FAVORITE AHHHHHHHHH

They're literally one of the sweetest pairings and it's a crime they aren't talked about enough. And yeah they never really interact like Taka and Mondo, but that one scene in the V3 Bonus Mode just kills me every dAMN TIME.

I adore them so much UGH - literally the only ship that made me wanna write fanfiction (and I did but we won't talk about that)

Anyway so timid shy girl x brash delinquent let's go.

Mondo definitely fell for her first. Thought she was a damn sweetheart from the moment he laid eyes on her - it only intensified whenever they ran into each other (ex the scene I referenced). Mondo absolutely adores her.

Mikan was oblivious to this and it took Ibuki and Mahiru pointing it out to her for her to notice. God she got so embarrassed and scared over the whole thing, thinking he was just some brute.

Ibuki was the first one to notice that Mondo actually REALLY liked her for her. And then she decided to help Mondo a bit because Ibuki is a matchmaker and I'm tired of pretending she's not.

With Ibuki's advice, Mondo is actually able to approach Mikan without shouting at her (however difficult it was) and expresses his feelings. She decides to give him a chance - after having a moment of confusion and fear once again - and agrees to go on a date.

And y'all. Mondo treats her so good. His volume is still hard to control but he goes out of his way to make her comfortable and happy and it both shocks and confuses Mikan that he actually wants to date her for her.

So they eventually get together!!!! Ibuki is very proud of herself for setting em up and constantly teases them about it.

They're the cliche highschool sweethearts you see in every movie and they're just adorable.

They adore each other - it's really sweet. Mondo thinks she's the cutest thing in the world and it takes every ounce of willpower to not squeal whenever she giggles or acts cute. Same goes for Mikan - she thinks he can be really sweet and adorable, despite his intimidating exterior. Almost like a big dog.

In public they only ever hug - PDA is too much for either of them, but on rare occasions they can be seen hugging, either Mikan hugging his midsection or Mondo wrapping an arm around her shoulders to hold her close.

Mondo is also very protective of her - he encourages her to stand up for herself as well, and doesn't butt into situations where she's got her friends to back her up. That doesn't mean he'll stand back and watch someone harass her - he will intimidate the other until they back off. Mikan doesn't support his violent tendencies at all.

OMG I REALIZED ITS THAT "BIG SCARY DOG PRIVILEGE" MEME HAHAHAHA

That's it that's their dynamic.

It gets better if Mondo's gang learns about her.

She's earned herself a pack of personal bodyguards who won't tolerate shit from anyone.

But anyways, they both stand to have a very sweet and heartwarming dynamic. Between the both of them, they have a relationship built on love, understanding, and mutual respect for one another.

Owagiri

A stoic introverted detective with the foul-mouthed biker delinquent. What more could you want?

God you know Mondo was the first to catch feelings. Albeit her initial cold exterior, Mondo wanted to know more, even after becoming friends (via Makoto), slowly turning into a crush on the mysterious detective.

Leon called him crazy for crushing on the "scary principal's daughter"

Taka and Chihiro were nothing but supportive and encouraging about the whole ordeal.

Daiyas only piece of advice was "Don't be a dick and just talk to her" Easier said than done of course.

But of course we all know his track record with other girls. The man started shouting at her again, much to his embarrassment and to Kyokos disappointment.

It only took some investigating on her end to figure out why he was acting so strange. And OH BOY WAS SHE FLABBERGASTED.

Mondo??? Likes her??? Impossible.

But as she looked at him with this whole new perspective, she slowly started to develop her own feelings. While he struggled to talk to her, Kyoko took a different approach to show her own interest. Subtle touches, faint smiles, more one on one time, subtle signs like that.

It slowly went like that until they both had a talk about their relationship. Then they agreed to give it a shot!

And my god it was a weird change.

Two people, infamous for hiding their emotions from others. Sounds like a disaster. And yet, they slowly start to adapt and change together.

They're both very quiet about the relationship, still trying to adjust and go about it at their own pace.

They're both very shy about any sort of affection or intimacy, finding it difficult to initiate. Although Kyoko quickly discovered she likes to play with Mondos hair when it's freshly washed and down.

That slowly evolved into cuddling sessions - Kyoko playing with his hair while Mondo simply enjoys her company. It only grows from there.

They're pretty casual about the relationship the more they lean into the whole idea, but they've grown pretty close - as friends and as partners.

Despite their initial setbacks, they actually make a sweet couple. Kyoko acts as the voice of reason, whilst Mondo shows Kyoko how to loosen up a bit and enjoy their school life.

Their dynamic is essentially rivals to lovers (if you count THH ch. 2/a non despair AU where their personalities just conflict) and/or badass/stoic person (Kyoko) x person who thinks that's the coolest thing ever and adores them very much (Mondo)

It's honestly a very mature relationship - built on lots of communication and learning from each party. Of course, no relationship could work without communication or understanding. With both parties being Kyoko and Mondo, once they get past both their setbacks and misunderstandings, they have potential to be a power couple. And even if it doesn't work out in the end, they would still have a strong friendship after the fact. A brain x brawn duo always has the potential to be a strong dynamic.

He is incredibly intimidated by you

The way you share literally no concern for anyone who doesn't abide by the rules scares him

You were incredibly harsh and unforgiving with them, so he tried to steer clear of you

With him, however, you were much kinder

It feels like whiplash

You go from berating and pointing your finger at some poor fellow from the Reserve Course to giving gifts the second you enter his presence 

You're even willing to share your meals with him

He does love it though

He'll also buy you things he thinks and hopes you like, and he'll gladly share his food with you as well

You can also be overprotective of him

You'll even threaten people who get too close

Somehow, that's scarier than your initial merciless demeanor

He's glad you love him and all, but chill???

But he's super glad that talking to him  helps you forget the struggles from your past

Hearing of your self loathing made him super sad

He hates that you lived in such a toxic environment, and he truly believes you deserve better

Especially since you once felt that you needed to die and cleanse yourself of your "filthy" blood before confessing to him

He's there for you if you need to talk

Makoto greatly admires your determination as well

Even when you're exhausted or injured, you keep on going until the end

But he worries about you a lot and wants you to take care of yourself

Overall, even though you worry him a lot, Makoto is a very sweet and loving partner towards you

He loves you for all of you, and he'll be there for you no matter what

Chiaki Nanami 

She finds you very interesting

Your harshness never bothered her too much, but she does wish you would be gentler towards others

She doesn't think people from the Reserve Course deserve to be berated, and she'll probably step in on some occasion

She knows a guy in the Reserve Course cough cough Hajimemes so she doesn't appreciate the meanness 

She does enjoy your kindness towards her though

She loves the gifts you give her, and that you share your food with her as well

She's super glad talking to her is helpful for you

It makes her feel special, in a way

Hearing that you really didn't like yourself made her sad

But she understands how growing up in a bad environment can do it to you

She's always there to talk if you need it

And when you told her that you felt you needed to die and purify your blood, she was highly concerned

Aside from that, she admires your determination

But she makes sure you take care of yourself

So, Chiaki is super sweet, but can be stern with you

But she does love you and want the best for you

Oh she thought you were scary as hell

But when you actually started growing closer, she was shocked at how much different you acted around her

It's so jarring at first, but she loves that she gets special attention

Part of her would like for you to be nice to everyone, but she also loves how only she gets to see this side of you

But anyway

She hates that you don't like yourself

Although, as sad as it is, it takes one to know one

She didn't grow up in the most positive environment either, so she understands how it can take a toll

It makes him really sad that you suffer from self-loathing

He's pretty mad at your family as well

But he will provide comfort as best as he can

My Danganronpa Ships Hands Headcanons

Note: I'm a multishipper

- Naegiri (KyokoxMakoto)

Kyoko's hands are cold which is surprising considering that she always keeps them under gloves. Their cold and rough because of her scars. Kyoko's hands are her biggest insecurity, she hates looking at them. Makoto on the other hand (pun intended), loves his girlfriend's hands. He loves when she uncovers them and takes his hand. Whenever Kyoko choses to take off her gloves, Makoto gives Kyoko little kisses on her hands.

Makoto's hands are warm and soft. They're also small, he often wishes that they were bigger so they could cover Kyoko's hands to make her hands warmer. Kyoko loves when she gets to touch his hands but she's always afraid he won't like how her hands feel.

- Sakuraoi (Sakura x Aoi)

Sakura's hands are big warm and soft but she doesn't realize that at all. Sakura is always a bit afraid of holding Hina's hands. Aoi's hands are small, she's worried that she'll hand up hurting her with her strength. But Aoi absolutely adores Sakura's hands. She loves when her hands can hide in Sakura's hands and just feel the warmth and softness. Aoi always gives Sakura hand kisses and makes sure to encourage Sakura into giving holding hands when she doesn't feel to confident.

- MahiruxPeko

Mahiru has warm hands, Peko has cold hands. Peko isn't used to holding hands with others, whenever she feels Mahiru's soft hands she feels surprised by their warmth. Mahiru loves Peko's hands and once she takes it, she doesn't want to let go.

- MondoxHifumi

Mondo's hands are cold. Whenever Hifumi takes his hand, he offers to help him make it warmer. Mondo pretends to dislike it but absolutely loves when Hifumi holds his hand or kisses it. He would use every occasion to hold Hifumi's hand and make up the weridest excuses, just so he doesn't have to admit that he loves his soft hands.

Taka has cold hands, when Chihiro takes his hand he immediately starts giving him small kisses on his hands. Taka completely melts when it happens.

- Miu x Kaede

My headcanon is that Miu has nerve damage in her hands. Because of that Miu's hands don't feel heat or cold, so it often leads to injuries such as burns. That disability also leads to

Mikan's hand tremble a lot when she's nervous. Mikan is worried that her cold hands will push Akane away. But Akane loves kissing her hands. Akane takes every opportunity for Mikan to touch her, she sometimes randomly asks Mikan to check her temperature just so Mikan can touch her.

- Kokichi x Shuichi

Kokichi's hands are warm which was confirmed in the canon.

"He can like about a lot of things but not the warmth of his hand"

Shuichi's are cold. Kokichi always uses that as an excuse to hold Shuichi's hand. Kokichi often gets flustered when Shuichi calls out how warm and nice Kokichi's hands are.

Toko's hands are actually really nice to touch. They're warm and soft, Taka loves holding them. Toko had no idea that her hands are like that since she never really held hands with anyone.

- Hajime x Chiaki

Chiaki's hands are really nice to touch, they're small and soft. Chiaki loves holding Hajime's hand. Sometimes, he would hold her hand while she plays her Nintendo with one hand. Hajime would get worried she is uncomfortable playing like that so he would let go of her hand but then she will immediately ask him why he let go.

• Leon wasn’t too into sports anymore since he wasn’t all in for baseball, but he still supports your talent full thorddle

• Leon will work out with you to keep your bodies in shape for your respective sports, although Leon hates training

• he comes to all of your games, he’s the loudest in the crowd to cheer you on during it, he gets a lot of weird looks from people

• and in turn you go to his games, whenever he catches you in the crowd he gives you a wink before he goes up to bat

• when Leon wants to practice music you support him 100% since he wants to quit baseball, since you’re still in sports he gives you advice about relaxing your muscles and taking it easy

• you two are definitely a sports power couple

Mondo Owada

• Mondo thinks you’re kinda hot when you’re playing lacrosse, he always catches your games and waves at you from the stands

• if any of his gang comments on how soft he is for you he’s going to beat the ever living hell out of them, he just wants to support you

• when you’re running late mondo will give you a lift on his motorcycle, the wind in your hair always feels really nice while holding onto mondo’s waist (how is he so buff?)

• when you’re sore after a game mondo offers to massage your shoulders, he’s shockingly good at it. He always runs just the right spots to make your back feel better

• he always wishes you luck on your games like a sweetheart, maybe he’s actually the ultimate lucky student?

• just make sure he doesn’t see somebody injure you, they’re gonna end up dead pretty fast

Mikan Tsumiki

• When you’re playing lacrosse games it makes Mikan a bit nervous, sports in general make Mikan nervous since it’s a bunch of people tackling each other and almost getting hurt. Plus at these games it’s incredibly loud at these games

• even so, Mikan tries her best to watch your games, she wears earbuds to try and block out all the noise, and she waves to get your attention to let you know she’s there

• whenever you’re hurt after a game Mikan is taking care of you. Sprained ankle? You’re gonna be bed ridden for a few weeks and be pampered by Mikan.

• she always bandages your hands when they have scans on them from playing, she’s very soft on you for any injury you get while playing

• when though Mikan doesn’t like sports a ton, she wants to do all she can for you, she loves you that much that she wants to improve herself to be able to enjoy something along side you

Yeah. Honestly, every Danganronpa character needs one

Mondo, Mukuro and Mikan with an Ultimate Therapist Reader

Mondo Owada 

He didn't really care at first

You were just another Ultimate, after all

But being the Ultimate Therapist means having excellent intuition

You could tell that he had a troubled past

You approached him, asking him about his anger

And he, of course, responded with anger

"What the fuck does it matter to you, dumbass?!"

"Hm, I see. This anger comes from a place of pain, doesn't it?"

This struck him silent

And next thing he knew, he was laying down on a couch in your lab, confessing all his pain and sorrows

Something about you just made him feel safe

You comforted him and let him know that his past mistakes don't define him as a person

He fondly smiled at you and thanked you

Then he started blushing madly

"Hey, would you... wanna go on a date sometime?"

You smiled at him

"I'd like that, Mondo."

Mukuro Ikusaba 

She was curious about you from the beginning

She wanted to know if your talent was truly effective

So she watched as you helped your fellow Ultimates, and you seemed to be pretty good at it

And so, she approached you

"So... You're the Ultimate Therapist, correct?"

"That would be me. Anything I can help you with?"

"I just want to... talk to you."

And so, you took a walk together

She asked you questions about your talent

How did you become the Ultimate Therapist? How did you do it so well?

You just shrugged your shoulders

"I started out as just a really good listener, then people started coming to me with their problems. This started evolving, and I found a career for it. As for the second question, I just get to know people. Listen to what they have to say, what caused their problems, and just help them in the best way I can."

Mukuro was in awe

You were a genuinely kind person who wanted to help people

Maybe you can help her too

But first, she wants to get to know you

She doesn't want to spill her secrets to a complete stranger, after all

And further on down the line, she feels more comfortable with you

Comfortable enough to open up

You listen intently, never once turning away your attention

You notice her growing more uncomfortable and more upset as she continues

"Hey, Mukuro, it's okay. You don't have to keep going."

"I-I'm sorry."

"You don't need to apologize. It's a therapist's job to listen, not press for information."

You hold out your hands and she holds them

Then she starts blushing

"U-Um... (Name)... I-I've been... having feelings for you for a while.. A-And... I'm wondering if... You would be interested in... going on a date with me..."

You smile and give her hands a squeeze

"I would love that."

Mikan Tsumiki

You were the one who approached her

You were incredibly concerned about her

She's kind of worried at first

"I-I'm sorry! D-Did I do something to b-bother you? I'm s-sorry! How c-can I repay you?"

See, this is why you're concerned

"Um... Ms. Tsumiki, that's really not necessary. I just want to talk to you."

"M-Ms. Tsumiki...?"

You brought her to her office, and asked her in the most no-pressure way possible

"So, Ms. Tsumiki, I am highly concerned. I've seen how... fragile you can be, and how you let others treat you. You don't have to tell me exactly what caused this behavior, but I at least want you to have a safe space when you need it."

She pauses for a moment, feeling mildly afraid

Then she breathes in and confesses that she had been bullied and abused in the past, which led to her meek personality

She didn't give any details, just gave you a short and simple response

You nodded, and asked if she would like a hug

She kinda malfunctioned for a short moment, but accepted it nonetheless

She actually really liked it

After that, you started to walk with her more, shooting down anyone who gave her shit

And she quickly ended up developing feelings

But one day, she had tripped and fallen into a... compromising position, which caused Hiyoko to be the absolute worst

 You quickly brought her to your office and soothed her

You hadn't seen the full extent of her bullying at school, and you wish it stayed that way

Seeing as there was no point in keeping it from you, she confessed the certain things her past bullies and abusers did

It was nothing short of disgusting

Then she started to freak out

"I-I'm s-so sorry! You m-must think I-I'm a f-freak after s-seeing that!"

"No, Mikan, I could never think that! I love you way too much to ever see you that way!"

Mikan jumped in surprise and pulled away from you to look you in the eyes

You quickly realized what you said and got embarrassed

"I-I am so sorry! I-I didn't mean to say that!"

She took your hands in hers and smiled at you

"I love you too, (Name)."

She snuggled into you once again, and you stayed like that for a while, before going out on a date later
