He was a bit hesitant to start dating you, but when he was confident about your safety, he wasted no time in asking you out

You two usually go out to some carnival or festival

He shows off how well his aim is and can't help but smirk at you when you look at him like he's a show off

He totally is trying to impress you

He doesn't usually let you meet other momotarou, usually doesn't want them to scare you off

However, because they often somehow find him, you have met Tsukuyomi and Ousuke

Tsukuyomi immediately asked for your sign and began to go into a whole spiel on whether or not you and Mikado were compatible and Mikado pulled you away from him

He's always silently praying that you're not an oni, so that the other momotarou wouldn't kill you

If you did turn out to be one, he'd ask if you've ever hurt anyone or if you would, and depending on the answer, he'll continue the relationship or not

He loves cuddling you and kissing your forehead

If anyone happens to find him after not knowing where he is, then they usually find him in your arms

Oh goodness this man

He meets you and he's sure he's in love

Immediately asks for your sign to check if you're compatible

Though he mind bend the truth if he really like you

Be prepared to not ask why the fuck he owns so many items that he has lying around his house

He explains them by saying they're lucky items

You should also prepare for him giving you charms or lucky items

And usually they are ridiculously outlandish, you’re not even sure why or how he got half of the items he tries to give to you

Ousuke somehow found out about you and has threatened you with death or at least a fight if he finds out your an oni

Tsukuyomi stopped him and made him properly introduce himself

After a day of just really wanting to fight you, he asks you out

He takes you to a field and challenges you to a fight

However, at your denial, he's disappointed and is ready to go, but then you ask if he wants to go on a proper date

He agrees and he takes you to an action movie

Most of your dates is watching action movies and you patching him up from any fights he had recently

He'll walk to your house and collapse on you after walking there from a fight, please save this man, he doesn't know any better

If you're an oni and he finds out, it's on sight, he will fight you

If you manage to win/survive, he will still date you, there will just be more physical fights

He doesn't like cuddling, but he'll sleep on your lap

rounds of cheers, laughter and excited chatter could be heard all around you. everywhere you turn are bright lights, blinding almost. yet at the same time it’s comforting seeing so many happy faces, yours included.

you watch patiently as shiki hands the stand manager a ticket and starts moving the joystick more aggressively each time he messes up. turning back to you he lets out a sheepish laugh, “sorry these things seem harder than they look”. you wave your hands dismissively, letting him know it’s ok and you don’t mind the wait.

as you’re waiting you feel a tug on your shirt, looking down you find a little girl staring at you.

“can I have your number for a date?”

at the same moment, shiki makes his triumphant return, plushie in hand. a little confused at the scene before him. patting her hair, you tell her you’re too old for her, but she sends you a confused look. “it’s not for me, it’s for my big brother” she giggles, pointing out her brother in the crowd. seeing as his cover has been blown he ducks behind a pole.

“please go out with him, he might die alone”

“oh, I’m actually-

“sorry kid, but they’re actually dating someone. someone super smart, funny, strong and very attractive” shiki drags on, hoping his choice of words will give her the hint you’re taken. she stares at you to shiki, back to you, back to shiki and says “I don’t see anyone like that here”. the little girl decides on giving up, this wasn’t her job anyway, she shrugs before running away. leaving a once confident shiki shocked.

“did I just get roasted by a child?”

“I think you did”

since being demoted, mikado finds himself to have more time on his hands, which is a great opportunity to spend more time with you. so on your break he makes his way to your work, lunch in hand since you have a habit of forgetting.

“that guy is staring at you”

craning your neck to the direction of his gaze, your annoyed scoff and glare that maybe he isn’t ‘just’ some guy.

“him? yea don’t worry about it. he shows up here from time to time asking for my number, I keep saying no, but he won’t listen.” and mikado can only sigh, it must be annoying to deal with such persistence. the guy clearly doesn’t see the glare your boyfriend is sending him, although it’s best he doesn’t. mikado isn’t in any way upset he asked for your number, you’re an alluring person, it’s bound to happen. but he did mind someone bothering his s/o repeatedly, not respecting your refusal − that makes him livid.

noticing how tense mikado’s gotten since hearing of your ‘secret admirer’, taking hold of his face you tilt his head back to you.

“forget about him, besides my boyfriend is super hot, so I pay no mind” you coo, watching his facial features soften again. feeling a little more relaxed, mikado thinks it’s best for him to go back home, not before talking some sense into your ‘secret admirer’.

“hi there”

“hello?”

“they’ve got a boyfriend with an impeccable hair care routine, your persistence is admirable, but not wanted. leave them alone, please and thanks”, before flipping his hair dramatically and making his way to the door. by the end of the day he makes sure it’s like the guy never existed in the first place.

Spoilers for Super Danganronpa Another 2

No. No no no no no no no no no.

This can’t be happening! Why is this happening!? He promised he wouldn’t kill us. He said we would be fine!

But I couldn’t deny the truth, not when I witnessed Hajime get shredded and turned into a sick joke on that screen.

I wanted to throw up, scream, cry, anything!

But I couldn’t, I just stood there completely numb.

I couldn’t blow my cover, not here, not now. I’ll just have to wait to confront him later.

As I walked out of that damned courtroom, and night fell onto the cruise ship I only had one thought.

“Why? Why would you betray us? Betray me?”

I looked at the clock on my monopad and sighed, the others must be confronting Mikado by now.

I grumbled as I walked towards the monitor room, noticing the door was cracked open, arguing being heard as clear as day.

I ran my fingers through my hair in anxiousness.

Mikado was… an unpredictable person to say the least. I knew betrayal could’ve been a factor from the start, but he himself had backed all of Void into a corner with the Kisaragi Foundation so killing him was out of the question. Neither was betraying him, he had full control over this game and could easily get one of us executed for fucking up the plan.

I sighed, I knew this plan was terrible from the start. Hell, Nikei knew it as well, but the other three outweighed our opinions so we were forced to go along.

Utsuro be damned for all I care. I lost my luck a long time ago, and other than a few major injuries, I’ve managed to get along fine. Why the other members couldn’t see that losing their luck wouldn’t be the end of their world was beyond me.

I took a deep breath in as I opened the door. Time to put on that mask.

“Sorry to interrupt your little argument, but one of you dumbasses left the door open.”

The other voids looked at me, I could see how tense Nikei, Emma, and Iroha were off the bat.

Looks like this didn’t go as they planned.

“Ah! Mx. L/N! Lovely of you to join us!” Mikado exclaimed.

“Yeah yeah whatever, so I take it this didn’t go the way we wanted?” I asked looking over at Nikei.

He growled and looked away from me in response.

“I’ll take that as a yes.” I muttered.

I shook my head and crossed my arms, glaring daggers at the half-masked blonde in front of me.

“You know I’m pissed off to hell and back and it’s taking everything in me not to kill you. So give me a goddamn explanation before I snap your neck Sannoji.” I growled.

Mikado laughed in response.

“Alright then, kill me. I won’t stop you, but you do know without me this plan will go to ruins?” He stated.

I grabbed the collar of his cape and pulled him towards me, making it so his face was right in front of mine.

“You think I care? I don’t give a damn about Utsuro anymore, I’ve already lost my divine luck.” I spat.

“Then why did you join the game in the first place hm?” He asked with a head tilt.

I shoved him so he fell back in the chair he was sitting on in response.

“Because I wanted to protect the people I care about in case this plan went wrong, but no, you just had to go and fuck this up didn’t you!?” I screamed.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and whipped around to see Emma looking at me with a concerned expression.

“I admire your tenacity Mx. L/N, however I stated the rules clearly, the blackened must be executed if caught. The plan would fail if we proceeded with false executions, too many factors could go wrong.” Mikado stated matter-of-factly.

Mikado stood up from his chair and looked at all of us, his mask showing annoyance.

“To go with this plan you must be prepared to die for it. Even I’m willing to die for it, however killing me would mean you have no escape from this island, nor the Kisaragi Foundation.” He stated smugly.

I glared at him.

“If the rule of no violence wasn’t in place I’d punch you.” I growled.

“I’d like to see you try darling.” He smiled.

I huffed, and shoved Emma’s arm off of me as I walked out of the room, but before I left completely I poked my head back in.

“I might be pissed off, but for the love of whatever god exists you all are fucking idiots to hold a meeting here of all places.” I grumbled.

Nikei scoffed. “Well where do you suggest we go?”

I rolled my eyes. “You literally could’ve asked me and I would’ve let you in my room for this discussion. Anyways, I’m gonna go punch a wall or something to let this emotional baggage out, message me if you need me.”

It was late into the night by now, and my hands were bleeding.

Maybe punching those pieces of wood were a bad idea considering my luck.

I sat on my bed in silent agony, tears pricking the corners of my eyes. Punching and breaking something had helped a little bit in dealing with the pain of losing Hajime, but the sorrow that tugged at my heart was still very much there.

I missed how upbeat he was, his constant reassurance, his caring nature, hell I even missed his constant nagging about my health. I just wanted him back but I knew that wouldn’t happen, so I just sat on my bed holding my bleeding hands close as I sobbed.

I don’t know how long went by as I laid there. All I know is I had stopped crying awhile ago, and I felt numb again.

I could distantly feel the Monocruise moving, but it felt so far away, just like everything else at the moment as I stared blankly at the ceiling.

I suddenly felt something hold my wrist, and looked over.

Oh you’ve got to be fucking kidding me.

“Fuck off.” I grumbled, putting my head back on the bed.

“No.” Mikado said back. “You know I was quite worried when I didn’t see you around the Monocruise this morning, but now I see why.”

“So you teleported into my room without my permission?” I asked annoyed.

“I wasn’t planning on it Mx. L/N, however I was quite worried considering last night.” He responded. “So I quickly checked the camera footage, and saw your current state.”

He flipped my wrist over and started taking the pieces of wood stuck in my hand.

“Oh that’s rich coming from you.” I hissed.

“How so?” He inquired. “Is it wrong for me to worry about your condition?”

“Is it wrong? You killed Hajime! Why in the hell would you care about me of all people!? You’ve made it perfectly clear we’re all just fucking pawns to you! You have no goddamn reason to care about anyone! Do you have any clue how-” I cut myself off seeing that my hand was bandaged up.

I blinked, absolutely dumbfounded.

“Quite frankly,” Mikado started grabbing my other hand. “I do care about you, there’s a reason you were never supposed to murder anyone for the plan.”

“And why is that?” I asked with a glare.

“Would it be any fun if I told you?” Mikado shot back teasingly.

I vaguely felt pricks of pain from the wood being pulled out as I glared at him.

“However, I suppose I do owe you something since I technically influenced this.” He stated looking at my hand. “Truth is, I admire you much more than the other void members.”

I cocked an eyebrow at that. “Why?”

Mikado chuckled as he started bandaging my hand up. “You’re a lot more interesting to me dear, does there need to be any other reason?”

I blushed a bit at that and grumbled as I laid down with my eyes closed. “I’m too damn tired for this.”

I felt Mikado take his hands off of my newly bandaged one. For a second I thought he left until I didn’t feel the bed sheets beneath me.

I wasn’t even allowed to panic before I felt my head hit something, or well someone’s chest. I then felt a blanket being pulled over my body, and a hand run through my hair.

I internally panicked, absolutely flustered, but couldn’t move for some reason.

“What the fuck are you doing!?” I exclaimed.

“Helping you sleep darling.” Mikado responded. “You look like you need it.”

I growled, of course he would do this, but it did feel nice at least, and I was way too tired to object his offer.

I wrapped my arms around him and buried my head into his chest, god he was warm. If him running his fingers through my hair didn’t do it then this warmth was definitely lulling me to sleep.

I felt my eyelids close and an arm around my waist, but before I fell asleep I felt something touch my head.

Mikado’s mask smiled as he watched you start to fall asleep.

You would survive this game he would make sure of that, you were the most perfect thing he had ever laid his eyes on.

He put the lips of his mask to your head as the visible side of his face softly smiled.

“Goodnight my darling starlight.”

The first time this happened, she thought somebody was trying to jump her until she realizes it's only you.

Eventually she gets used to it, recognizing your footstep patterns moments beforehand.

Your affections are often the distraction she needs whenever investigating places/murders gets overwhelming or she's struggling with her amnesia.

She doesn't mind you following her around while exploring the ship or islands. It gives you a chance to talk about what you found, or just have casual chats to take your minds off of this dreadful "trip".

Whenever the others see you together, they usually mind their business. You both keep tightly-knit alibis, so you're rarely suspected of any murders.

But Monocrow can be quite annoying with his constant "no excessive PDA" reminders.

Setsuka

Ever since you've known her, the ol' "hugging from behind" greeting was something you two have exchanged for years. She's absolutely all for it.

It helps on days where she gets self-conscious of her cybernetic eye and stares into the mirror too long. You'd embrace her and reassure her it looks beautiful, giving her a kiss that cheers her up right away.

Fastforward to the killing game, you'd always stay by each other's side, helping the other students feel better about this grim situation and find ways to lift everyone's spirits.

You're impressed with how quickly Setsuka became the "mom friend" among them.

When they all see you being a sweet and supportive couple, it's hard for them to believe either of you could be potential murderers or Voids.

You might possibly have a friendly rival with Hibiki--just to see who can hug your gf the most in a single day.

Nikei

If he's hyperfocused on writing articles or making observations for scoops, he's easy to startle.

It just takes him out of the zone™ and he may get a little annoyed, so it's best to make your presence known beforehand. Only then he doesn't mind it.

He finds it endearing if you wanna follow him around, as he'd love to ramble about his latest scoop to a listening ear.

Alternatively, he could be venting about Mikado being a total bitch (assuming you're part of Void or don't mind the fact he's in Void), but you'll let him.

Before the killing game, the rest of the Void gang sees your interactions as cute!

Though they're surprised at how he can yell at them one moment, and then smile and hug you the next.

During the game, however, Nikei easily gets flustered by your affections if others are around to witness them--especially if Mikado points them out.

But if you're both alone together he'll let you hug him.

Yuki

Tbh if anyone appreciates your hugs the most, it's this guy.

They definitely help bring him back to reality whenever he starts getting upset or disassociates.

Somehow you just know when he needs you the most.

With his fear of losing people he cares about, he'd rather have you stick by him as you venture through the ship or islands. It gets harder to trust anyone besides his s/o as the murders continue.

But he refuses to think you'll ever be a killer. Just straight-up denies it.

Most of the students see you together and notice he's not as pessimistic anymore, which is great!

As for others, well...they may just see you as "interference" and might try to do something to change that /j

Mikado

Usually, he wouldn't allow anyone to sneak up on the mastermind so easily.

But he can sense whenever it's you and so he just plays along, feigning being "captured" once he feels your arms around him.

His mask is all smiles (or half smiles, in this case).

He'll try to reciprocate the gestures when you least expect it, sometimes sweeping you off your feet.

Honestly when not dealing with Void-related stuff, he likes following you around just as much as you like following him!

But only bc he thinks this is what couples normally do.

The others (esp Sora and Teruya) think you've gone crazy for dating the freaking mastermind, and Nikei fully believes you've been brainwashed/hypnotized into loving him.

Imagine how flabbergasted the journalist is when Mikado explains that's not the case whatsoever.

Syobai

Like Sora and Mikado, he can anticipate if you're coming up behind him.

You two got an inside joke that he'll "charge" you for every second you spend hugging him, with you gladly saying you'll go broke.

What made the Ultimate Broker fall for you hard is knowing his dry humor. You get it.

He does feel a bit relaxed with his back against you, so he may be tempted to let you carry most of his weight while he smokes.

If you tend to follow him around like a lost puppy, he won't make much of a comment on it, though he'll ask if you needed something or if you had info to share.

Don't take it to heart. He's just used to being a loner.

Should anyone else notice, they simply marvel at how you can tolerate him.

-He is very much aware he is in love with you. And he's shy about it. And also a bit obsessed but not to an unhealthy/yandere level.

-He does his best to get to know you better instead of asking you out directly. He hangs out with you a lot and lets you ramble about your interests.

Ok lol, but Y/n does end up telling Teruya and Hajime in their scenarios

Yuri Kagarin:

Since Yuri thought you were a boy, he disrespected your entire existence when he first met you 

Even if his dislike and rude remarks against you were annoying, you still didn't correct him

When Yuri was complimenting Sora, he noticed you go into the girls bathroom

Oh hell no

With his ideas of all males being disgusting creeps, he thought you were being a pervert, so he did the heroic thing and try to run into the bathroom and beat the crap out of you 

Except he wasn't able to open the bathroom door

He was pissed that Monocrow was letting this pervert enter and not him, until Monocrow came out and explained that boys weren't allowed in the girls bathroom.

Yuri is about to yell about you to Monocrow when it suddenly hits him

He's straight up in denial for a few moments, and when you leave the bathroom, he straight up asks you in shock,

"...Are you a girl?"

"Glad someone figured it out." 

He basically spends the rest of the day following you and begging you for forgiveness, and even when you forgave him, he still stuck by you, seeming to enjoy your company

He was still a long shot from not hating men, but you seemed to open his eyes a bit

Teruya Otori:

When being in another trauma inducing situation, knowing you could help everyone but you don't have your memories to do so, it was hard to find someone to trust

But Teruya trusted you

You listened to him and comforted him through the murders, and did the best you could to help him remember, even if his past memories weren't very pleasant

You had just been comforting Teruya, who was desperately trying to remember how he got his goggles, when the nighttime announcement played

Teruya quickly wiped his tears and looked around,

Even if your dorm wasn't too far away, he still remembered from his last killing game that going out at night wasn't a good idea 

"Y/n, it's late. You shouldn't go out at nighttime, do you want to spend the night?"

"A boy and a girl spending the night together? How unwholesome." 

"Wha..." 

It took him a solid minute to realize that you were a girl, and he just asked you to spend the night with him HoLy sHiT-

He began blabbering about how he was sorry and he didn't know

You just laughed it off and told him you didn't bother correcting people

He kept apologizing and you laughed it off, telling him that you'd see him (and make fun of him more) in the morning

Then he found your corpse the next morning

Just kidding, he didn't think anything less of you because of your gender, and would correct the others or tell them if they didn't know and if you were fine with it

Yuki Maeda: 

You and Yuki were pretty good friends

Not "walk right in when the other is changing" good friends, but you guys enjoyed each other's presence

Yuki's luck and obliviousness came into play when he decided he would knock on your door and see if you wanted to hang out

He noticed your door was open and got scared, what if you were killed!?

He opened it, hoping he wasn't about to find your corpse

"Wha...! Y-Y/N!?"

His face goes red when he realizes that not only are you a girl, but he also just walked in on you changing

He quickly runs out of the room and avoids you like the plague (because he's embarrassed that he walked in on you, not because you're a girl)

You confronted him about it and he admitted that he was surprised to realize that you were actually a girl

You lightly teased him over the whole ordeal, much to his embarrassment

He made sure you identified as a girl before openly using those pronouns and correcting your friends

Shinji Kasai: 

Shinji treated you like he treated any guy, basically forcing you to work out with him and insisting that you called him big bro

You worked out with him, Hajime, and Yuki for a while, and they were none the wiser

Until you forgot about training one day.

"YOU ARE LATE TO TRAINING!!" You heard Shinji pound on your door.

"Sorry! I was talking with Sora! I'm getting changed, then I'll head to-" 

Shinji didn't let you finish, nearly busting down the door to the room just to find you half naked.

He low key screamed before covering his eyes and running away, too embarrassed to put the door back 

He couldn't look you in the eyes after that and nearly everything you said made him turn red

He would faint if you ever called him big bro again

Hajime and Yuki have no idea what's going on, and Shinji is too embarrassed to say it, so you're the one telling them

It's a while before Shinji can talk to you without getting extremely red, but him and his friends still welcome you to train with them

Hajime Makunouchi: 

Like Shinji, he thought you were cool and invited you to work out with him!

The two of you went for a jog around the island and did some push-ups until it felt like the both of you were gonna pass out

Eventually, Hajime let you take a water break and you savored every drop before talking about how hot you felt

"Is this what a good workout is?"

"Hell yeah! If you're too hot, you can just take your shirt off." 

You stared at him. 

Bruh moment

"...I'm a girl." 

"....Wait what!?" 

He didn't mind too much, he was just really embarrassed that he told a girl to take her shirt off

You just laughed and told him it was alright

He didn't treat you any differently after that, but would correct people if they misgendered you (after making sure that you identify as a girl)

Syobai Hashimoto: 

He was having a smoke in the monocruise, and minding his own business when he noticed you head into the girls bathroom

"...Whatever. I'm not paid to care." 

He quickly put the pieces together upon realizing that only girls could enter the girls bathroom

Huh...

Still doesn't care.

Mikado Sannoji:

He's the mastermind, who literally planned his killing game plan down to the last detail

He already knew

Nikei Yomiuri:

Like Yuri, he thinks you're a pervert when he sees you enter the girls room

It takes him a few moments to suddenly remember the fact that only girls could enter the girls room

The second you leave, be prepared to be bombarded with questions

"What a scoop! Y/n is actually a girl! Do you identify as a boy? Why didn't you correct us?!"

Honestly, there's a chance he already knew since he scanned your file before the killing game started, but he pretended to be surprised for the sake of appearing oblivious and for the scoop

A Mikado Sannoji/Nikei Yomiuri x Reader Fic

Prologue Part 2

Well, that wasn’t worth anything.

I managed to explore most of the island's major landmarks at this point and found nothing of value, other than a few new faces that I had no desire to interact with after being bombarded with questions by that journalist.

I internally sighed as I munched on some chips I picked up back at the convenience store. 

At the very least I had a good idea of the layout of the island. If needed I could probably stay far away from any immediate threats if I’m observant enough, though no one besides Hajime and that red-haired guy from the park seemed to pose any threat anyways.

As I continued to dwell on the people I’d seen and how much of a threat they appeared to be, I suddenly heard footsteps approaching me from behind. I quickly turned around to see an orange-haired boy wearing a sort of uniform with a red tie as the final touch.

“H-Hey!” He shouted appearing out of breath. “Hold on!”

I stopped and stared at the boy as he stopped in front of me, catching his breath. The poor kid looked like he was about to pass out with how red his face he was. I pulled a water bottle out of my bag for him, which he took gratefully. 

He chugged down the water before looking at me with a sheepish smile. “Thank you.”

I shrugged in response.

“I don’t think we’ve met yet. I’m Yuki Maeda this year’s Ultimate Lucky Student.” Yuki said with an awkward smile.

“Y/N L/N, Ultimate Sharpshooter.” I said blankly.

Yuki looked at me wide-eyed at that, looking very similar to a deer in headlights.

“I’m not gonna hurt you if you’re worried about that. I only kill in self-defense or for money, and I don’t recall someone like you being on my list.” I said.

“O-Oh, well that’s a relief at least.” Yuki said still looking nervous.

Now that I’m getting a closer look at this kid he seems awfully familiar somehow, I feel like I’ve seen someone like him a while ago. I pushed that thought down, for now, to dwell on later. More importantly, why was this kid chasing after me like that?

“Any reason you were chasing me?” I asked.

Yuki perked up at that. “Oh right! We’re gathering everyone on the beach to figure out what’s going on. Hajime mentioned someone else in a leather jacket on the island so I went looking for you.”

I nodded and started to walk toward the beach.

“Hey! Wait up!” Yuki exclaimed as he followed after me.

Yuki and I arrived on the beach shortly afterward, and I quickly noticed that there were sixteen of us present in total. A few people I recognized, while there were others I’d never seen before.

Ignoring everyone else for a moment I walked over to the nearby palm tree and leaned against it, giving a small wave to Shobai and Mikado as I did so.

Yuki was the first to speak up. “So, we’re all here now?”

“So there’s this many people huh?” Hajime asked.

“So, you’re all new students, too? Nice to meet ya!” Said a short brunette with a hat and type of vest with a cross-hatch pattern on them. I noticed her sketchbook and decided to nickname her ‘Acrylic’ for now.

“Hey, hey, why’d we all have to gather? I wanna explore the island some moooorre….” Ah, I recognized her at least, Hibiki Otonokoji, the singer from the popular pop band ‘Melody Rhythm’.

Yuki seemed a little nervous as he spoke this time. “Uh… thank you all for coming. There’s a couple reasons why we called you here.” He continued on with his little speech. “The first is so we could all gather together and get to know each other better… and the second reason is-”

I cut him off. “It’s about this whole island situation correct?”

A white-haired girl in some sort of high school uniform spoke up next. “That’s right. We need to discuss that.” I think I’ll nickname her ‘Albino’ for now.

“Yeah, we need to talk about that. Glad to see we have at least some regular people here.” A pink-haired woman in a blue dress stated. With nothing else to go off of I decided to nickname her ‘Pinkie’.

“Wait, so that means that some of us aren’t normal?” The journalist from before asked.

“What situation? What are you guys talking about? Isn’t this just the entrance ceremony?” There’s the red-haired guy I saw earlier, I’ll call him ‘Vines’ due to the necklace he had around his neck.

After ‘Vines’s’ comment I just looked at him with the most disappointed expression I could muster.

“Alright time out,” I said. “What about this seems like any sort of entrance ceremony to you? Hope’s Peak or not this is not normal even for that school’s standards.”

‘Vines’ seemed to get nervous because of that statement. “W-Well I just thought-”

I continued anyways. “On another note does anyone remember how we got here in the first place?” I asked.

After a beat of silence from everyone gathered I continued. “Exactly. Why would we not remember being brought here if this is just some Hope’s Peak entrance ceremony?”

“Even so there’s no point getting so worked up maybe something just happened on the way over here.” A blue-haired woman piped in who I’ll call ‘Cyan’. 

I just shrugged in response. If these people weren’t going to see reason then there was no point convincing them.

After that, I just ignored what everyone was saying, instead opting to fidget with one of the many daggers I carry on me at all times.

Well, I tried to at least until I heard Shobai start talking.

“So you dragged me here just to talk about this shit. Ugh. Precious seconds of my life, down the drain.” He seemed quite annoyed, which is understandable he’s someone who values his time above everything else.

“Hey, no need to be a jerk. It’s true that we haven’t solved anything yet, but we’re at least trying to figure out the situation.” Hajime said.

Shobai shrugged in response. “Whatever. Only reason I showed up is ‘cause I was morbidly curious about you brats.” He turned around after saying that and began to walk away. “Can’t see what I’d gain out of getting chummy with you people, so I’m just gonna pass.”

“Wh-What?! Hold it! You can’t just talk trash out of the blue like that and leave!” ‘Pinkie’ shouted.

“He’s just like that, you get used to it after a while.” I said as Shobai walked past me. I dug into my bag and fished out a box of cigarettes, giving it to him. “Which reminds me, now we're even for the ‘Tsuri Family’ event.”

Shobai didn’t say anything in response, but I caught the glimpse of a smile as he walked away.

‘Pinkie’ turned to look at me with a shocked expression. “Wait you know him?”

I nodded. “Had a few run-ins with him on the job, considering he can do the same kind of work as me, sometimes we bump into each other.”

I saw a few people look at me with a concerned expression before the conversation continued, with me zoning out again as I thought about the situation we were in more.

“We’ve got sun, sand, and surf. Why not go for a swim?” ‘Cyan’ suggested. 

I just looked at her, on the outside showing no expression, but on the inside? I was screaming due to how idiotic the entire idea was. I just sighed, realizing there was no point even arguing. These people would rather pretend everything is fine than prepare for the worse.

As multiple people ran to get some kind of swimsuit I just crossed my arms leaning against the tree a bit more.

I mean on the bright side this place is pretty, living in the back alleys and hidden city routes I never got to see much other than trash most of the time.

As long as I keep watch on these delusional idiots for now I can do my best to make sure no one gets hurt.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and looked over to see Mikado, who upon seeing me waved a little.

“Oh hello, Mikado.” I said patting the spot next to me.

He perked up a little bit and leaned against the tree next to me as we watched the majority of the students play in the ocean. 

At least he’s nice company compared to most of the people I’ve met so far.

I heard Yuki exclaim he was going to join the others, but… 

I don’t know why but I had a gut feeling something was about to go wrong.

I went on the defensive looking around for any threats ready to take my pistol out of its holster on my waist, but just like that, I saw the albino girl from before collapse. 

“What the-” I was cut off by a pounding pain in my head.

I collapsed to the ground due to the pain, seeing everyone else had lost consciousness, and now I was fighting to stay awake.

I kept breathing heavily, struggling to stay conscious and desperately trying to figure out what was happening, but I was slowly losing my vision no matter how hard I tried to fight.

I heard the crunching of sand in front of me, but I couldn’t see who it was for the life of me.

I heard whoever it was say something, but I couldn’t make out a word of it. However, it seemed like whoever the voice belonged to they were attempting to calm me down, and it was actually working somehow.

The last thing I heard was a soft shushing noise and the feeling of a hand gently brushing my hair before I finally lost consciousness.

Your hands were stuck. You looked down at your right hand, and saw it was stuck to that damn momotarou, Mikado. You looked up at him, anger in your eyes.

"Oh please, why are you mad at me? You didn't have to grab my hand."

"Ha!" You huffed and tried to tug your hand away. It was futile, your blood stuck you two together. "You got in my way!"

"It's my job."

"Yeah, well-"

Surprise and pain flashed on his face, and he let out a noise, but tried to fight it down.

"That's what you get, you-"

You stared down the barrel of shotgun.

"This is just to make sure you don't have a chance at survival." He sucked in a sharp breath.

You slipped your left hand away and shot at both of your hands. The pain was enough for you lose your hold on your blood. He pulled away, his gun disappearing for a second. You took this opportunity to hit him with your gun.

"And this is to make sure you don't come after me." You shot his leg and bolted out of the building.

Mikado fell to the ground and he began to breath heavily. He looked up and tried to see if you were around.

"Dammit... let them get away..." He pulled himself up, sighing. "Why did I falter...?"

He began thinking of you and why he didn't shoot when he had the chance. He glared at the ground.

"No... no, it was their fault... it was. I didn't get distracted... they did something."

He limped out of the building, not willing to let the other possible reason as to why he didn't shoot creep inside his head.

masumi

masumi never liked his apartment, shitty walls and shitty neighbors. yea he really got the worst of it. well that was until you came, the prettiest girl he’s ever seen. a nice one too, you’d always wave hello and give him a smile − even if he didn’t give one back. sooner or later he finds himself falling for you and nobody could blame him. masumi hadn’t been sleeping in his room, due to the thin walls, but the buildings heater wasn’t working and he wasn’t about to freeze to death. so he decides for the time being he’d sleep there again.

but before long he starts hearing a voice. assuming since he’s so tired he ignores it, until he hears the owner of that voice. it was you, you were talking to your cat. he knows because he’d seen you and ‘mochi’, as you call him, around a lot.

and from the other side of the wall, he can hear you ranting to your cat.

“that masumi would be a lot cuter if he smiled, don’t ya think mochi? actually he’d be a lot cuter holding my hand while taking you for walks” you giggle, unbeknownst to you that he could hear everything.

 it takes a lot for him not laugh out loud and no, not because he’s mocking you. it’s the fact you both like each other yet haven't made any moves. so before falling asleep, he starts thinking of nonchalant ways of asking you if he can join your daily mochi walks. who knows, maybe he’ll actually get to hold your hand if you let him. it’d be a dream come true for the both of you, but that's for tomorrow’s masumi to deal with.

tsukuyomi 

tsukuyomi loved nothing more than the weekends, it’s when he’d volunteer at a seniors home and show them magic tricks. there was no ulterior motive behind it, he just loved old people...and maybe the cute care taker he’d see from time to time. the past few days staff members had been catching colds, so they were understaffed. the seniors director called him to see if he’d be willing to come in and help, of course he’d say yes. spending time with seniors and you? what a way to kill two birds with one stone. 

he arrived a bit earlier and was walking the halls aimlessly, until he heard a bunch of talking. trying to find the source of those voices he finds himself standing in the doorway of the laundry room. it was you and a few old ladies, so engrossed in the conversation nobody noticed him.

“oh that tsukuyomi is perfect for you”

“yes, you’d make a great couple”

“beautiful children you’d have indeed”

most people in this situation would deny the claims, but not you − you were encouraging them. agreeing to every word, which meant you liked him too huh? well that makes his confession a lot easier now and it seems like the Gods were smiling down upon him today.

mikado

it was a meeting for the new ‘elites’ a chance to get to know one another, but it wasn’t mikado’s first time meeting you. actually the two of you were good friends, having trained at the same academy. mikado had always liked you back then, but never said anything − fearing you wouldn’t feel the same. yet every time he sees you, his feelings get stronger and he’s going crazy. so he makes the decision, he’ll tell you tonight. scanning the sea of faces he can’t find you, but he sees your friends so walks up to them, hoping they’d know where you are. that is, but stops when he hears them talking about you.

“yea she’s gonna be a little late. she has to pick the ‘best’ outfit she says”

“but she always looks amazing, why is today different?”

“don’t you know? mikado’s coming tonight, she wanted to look her best”

“of course she does, only lord knows how down bad she is for that man”

hold on, wait − you down bad?....for him? no way, surely they were joking. but the more he listens, the more stories he hears of just how ‘down bad’ you were. now mikado knows for sure you’ll expect his confession and with a stupid grin on his faces, he waits for your arrival.

kyouya

you’d only been in the medical unit for a short time, yet you flew to the position of doctor in a flash. you were in the combat unit when orianzaka met you, under masumi’s command, enticed by your personality you had him warped around your finger like a bow and you didn’t even know. unfortunately, because of sustaining an injury you were taken from combat and moved to medical − due to your blood technique. something with threads, strings and needles, he couldn’t remember, but within no time you were sewing people up back up before they knew it. he even found himself using less of his blood, thanks to you. while taking his break, kyouya spots a little girl he quickly recognizes. he healed her from a momo attack and she’s taken a liking to him. so he calls her over, seeing as she shouldn’t be out of her room.

upon seeing his face, the little girl launches herself into his arms. “mister mister, i’ve been looking for you all over, i have something to tell you” she beams, tugging on his hair.

“hm? what is it?”

“i think you and miss y/n should get married!”

and he swears he almost fainted with the girl still in his arms. gently placing her down, he chuckles, patting her head. “haha you think so? well im not sure she has feelings for me-

“no! she loves you a lot, tells me all the time. you can’t say no, miss y/n already promised me!” 

kyouya was speechless, did you really say all that? maybe the she was overexaggerating or maybe she wasn’t. even so, he still had to know. with the little girl in tow he ventures off to find you. afterall, you’ll hopefully be his future wife if he plays his cards right.

- I actually can’t think of how you met him, it’s probably void related

- The wizard man is very impressed with you, how does one keep track of that many things :00

- He could never lead THIS many people, you amaze him!!

- Has made many joke about how you should lead void instead but would never actually let you

- You’ve probably lead many of the morning gatherings and it kinda confuses him. He’s like, “I know it’s your talent and all but whyyyyy”

- Doesn’t get in the way of you leading trials! Thinks we’ll if you for doing it

HAJIME

- You were probably the leader of his old gang!! Is how he met you

- Does get on you about breaks and how “you’re putting yourself under too much stress”

- Hajime they are the best at this calm your mom self down, they’re leading many good things

- But seriously he gets on you a lot about it. He cares for you and your health ya know!

- You started leading his and Shinji morning workouts, he is very proud of you for being able to do that

- You were leading his trial, his kinda broke his heart but he knew why you were. Praises you for that before the execution

EMMA

- She most likely met you during a movie shoot, probably helping her or someone else for a role

- Kinda like Hajime about you taking time for yourself but does not get on you about like how he does

- Know any good leader puns? With her you will. You’ll know all of them

- No seriously she will come to you the moment she thinks of a new one, she’s very proud about them

- She was somewhat heartbroken at the fact you were leading her trial, you also lead Hajime’s but it still hurt

- But she’s not mad at you! Emma will give you a hug and peck on the lips before her execution

NIKEI

- Met you through trying to get a scoop about one of your many groups

- Oh boy does he have a field day with his scoops. You give him so many and he’s so happy that you help him like that

- Loves hearing about you talk about your organizations, ramble to him all you want my mans is gonna listen

- You gave him tips on how to run void when he was, he was very grateful for that

- Nikei is actually upset that you were leading his trial, mostly because you most likely knew he whole plan

- And due to how it went down he probably doesn’t calm down. Sadly this ended on a bad note

IROHA

- Met either through an art organization or some manga club

- She takes interests in all of your manga and anime based clubs and organizations, she wants to hear about them

- She rambles to you a lot about her interests. Loves it when you ask for explanations on her ideas

- I like to think that she reads mostly romance and shojo manga and absolutely loves it when you read with her

- She’s open about how scared she is about Mikado and what she has to do, large chance that you lead her to her mission

- Even those you lead most of the trial everyone still got it wrong. Iroha clang to you for dear life before being pulled off
