{Heather from my Avatar AU, in which I tried to guess what the original HTTYD story would look like if the characters had abilities from the "Avatar: The last Airbender" universe}

Some facts about Heather in this AU:

●Heather first discovered metalbending when she needed to escape from Berk prison and return to Outcast Island. Fear and determination helped her to became able to open new element in herself and get out due to this.

●With metalbending, Heather can control her ax from a distance, this distance is large enough to attack unexpectedly.

●Neither Heather nor other Metalbenders can control Dragon proof metal, so in this AU it's also bender proof metal.

●Heather tried to teach metalbending to Hiccup and Fishlegs, but neither of them succeeded as well as she did. (Fishlegs didn't succeed at all, and Hiccup used it only to create inventions, and then rarely) They never used this element in battle, unlike Heather, who used it all the time.

I'm not really happy of this art, but hope that you like it..🥲

When Wei said 'trial by fire. It's the best way to learn metalbending' and just straight up assaulted Bolin with the meteorites I immediately assumed that that is how Toph taught her grandsons to metalbend as well.

You're telling me Toph wouldn't throw rocks at her youngest grandchildren in order to have them get the hang of it. I firmly believe her teaching style hasn't changed from when she taught Aang.

"toph never listens" ok then why did she dodge so much while curbstomping korra hm?? who else but aang could she have possibly learned the Nope No Touchy style from? it's very airbender coded and likely comes from when she was chief of police since her normal fighting style causes a lot of collateral damage

i’ve been re-watching avatar the last airbender

blood bending is bending the water in somebody’s blood so then I was thinking, well, there’s metal in your blood too…like iron, copper, zinc, sodium, and others. so then hypothetically, earth (metal) benders could be able to bend those metals in your blood, right? realistically, there’s probably not enough of metal in the blood to bend, or at least there’s less of it when compared to with water but it’s interesting to consider.
