"O Χαλκ δεν κλαίει ποτέ!"

Βρήκα τον Ν, 4ων χρονών, αφοσιωμένο στον σταθμό με τις σπιτικές πλαστελίνες. Ήταν η πρώτη φορά που ερχόταν στον χώρο. Είχαν περάσει σχεδόν τρία τέταρτα της ώρας που ήταν εκεί, ζουλώντας και δίνοντας σχήματα σε κομμάτια πλαστελίνης για να τα μαγειρέψει στη μικρή μας κουζίνα. Πήρα στο χέρι μου ένα κομμάτι ooblecκ (ένα παχύρευστο μείγμα corn flour και νερού που αποτελεί ένα ισχυρό αισθητηριακό ερέθισμα) και τον πλησίασα παίζοντας με το μείγμα στα χέρια μου. Του το σύστησα, αλλά εκείνος αρνήθηκε να το πιάσει ή να με ακολουθήσει στη σκάφη με το υλικό. Όταν κάλεσα τη μαμά του -που ήταν στον χώρο- στη σκάφη με το oobleck συστήνοντας της στην πράξη τις ιδιότητες του, ο Ν παρέμεινε στις πλαστελίνες, Μετά από λίγο κάθισα δίπλα του και άρχισα κι εγώ να ζουλάω και να κόβω κομμάτια πλαστελίνης. "Θέλεις να φτιάξουμε κάτι; Τον ρώτησα. "Να φτιάξουμε ένα σπίτι" μου είπε, "Τα τούβλα είναι μεγάλα." Και πήρε ένα πολύ μεγάλο κομμάτι πλαστελίνης. "Πρώτα θα φτιάξουμε τα θεμέλια" είπε. Πήρα κι εγώ ένα μεγάλο κομμάτι πλαστελίνης και άρχισα να δίνω σχήμα σε ένα τούβλο. Μετά από τρία περίπου τούβλα, ο Ν άρχισε να τα διαλύει κόβοντάς τα σε μικρά κομματάκια με τα χέρια του. Η σωματική του δράση έμοιαζε με χορό των χεριών. Σα να ξεμάλλιαζε την πλαστελίνη. Έκοβε κομματάκια τραβώντας τα από το μεγάλο κομμάτι που ήταν μπροστά του στο πάτωμα, σα να τα ξεκολλούσε, και τα πετούσε σα να έπεφταν από τα χέρια του δεξιά και αριστερά του. Σήκωνε μετά το μεγάλο κομμάτι και κρατώντας το ψηλά από μια άκρη άφηνε το υπόλοιπο μέρος του κομματιού να στάξει σαν γιγάντιο slime ακουμπώντας το πάτωμα μπροστά του (ναι, η πλαστελίνη είχε μαλακώσει πολύ με όλο αυτό το ζύμωμα). Άρχισε να βγάζει μια παιχνιδιάρικα θυμωμένη κραυγή, καθόλου ενοχλητική για το αυτί μου, λέγοντας: "Είμαι ο Χαλκ. Ο Χαλκ διαλύει το σπίτι!". "Ο Χαλκ είναι θυμωμένος;" τον ρώτησα. "Ναι! Είναι πολύ θυμωμένος!" μου απάντησε. Κι ενώ ο Ν, ή μάλλον ο Χαλκ, διέλυε τα τούβλα και τα θεμέλια του σπιτιού που δεν είχε προλάβει καν να πάρει μορφή, εγώ δίπλα του με ένα πολύ μεγάλο κομμάτι πλαστελίνης άρχισα να φτιάχνω ένα πρόσωπο. "Θέλω να φτιάξω ένα θυμωμένο πρόσωπο" του είπα. Και συνεχίσαμε σε παράλληλη δράση εκείνος να διαλύει τα θεμέλια κι εγώ να φτιάχνω τη θυμωμένη φάτσα. Όταν έφτασα στα μάτια μου ήρθε μια ιδέα "Λέω να του βάλω ένα δάκρυ, Μήπως είναι πολύ θυμωμένος γιατί πριν να θυμώσει στενοχωρήθηκε;" Τότε ο Ν έγυρε το σώμα του προς το μέρος του, με κοίταξε ίσια στα μάτια και μου ψιθύρισε με μια ενθουσιώδη σοβαρότητα " ο Χαλκ δεν κλαίει ποτέ!". Έτσι κι εγώ δεν του έβαλα το δάκρυ.

"Ξέρεις η ώρα έχει περάσει και σε λίγο θα πρέπει να αρχίσουμε να καθαρίζουμε τον χώρο. Θα ήθελες να πάμε τώρα στη σκάφη εδώ δίπλα να παίξουμε με αυτό το υλικό που σου έδειξα πριν;" είπα μετά από λίγο στον Ν. Εκείνος σηκώθηκε αποφασιστικά, ήρεμα και με εμπιστοσύνη. "Ναι πάμε" μου είπε. Και ένας σύντομος κύκλος παιχνιδιού, με ένα πιο υγρό και έντονο αιθητηριακό υλικό είχε ανοίξει.

Όταν χρειάζεται, είμαστε η σκαλωσιά στην οικοδομή των παιδικών ανακαλύψεων. Και η μορφή αυτής της σκαλωσιάς είναι τόσο μοναδική και απρόβλεπτη όσο και το παιδί που έχουμε απέναντί μας εκείνη τη στιγμή.
