Happy Birthday 🎊

Something about seizing the day,

taking things one day at a time,

making the best out of lemon soup,

wishing on stars in the daylight,

being excited for the conversation,

knowing when to walk away,

saying it like it is,

being comfortable in your own skin,

and relentlessly pursuing the dreams you know to be right and wonderful in the world.

Stepping on someone else’s toes,

Separating sticks from branches,

Long division,

Taking down old posters,

Burning something important

(But not too important)

And thinking easy about the times that could have been different than the way they actually turned out, when, in the moment, you’re really not in that place any more, you’re just watching yourself think back to a time when you believed ideology had more value than it does right now.

I used 'Fresh Basil', 'Fresh Parsley', & Fresh Tomatoes' that 'Came Right Out Of The Garden', on mine, 'Picked Moment Before Hitting They Oven'. We of course both shared with the Kitty-Cats. Hula & Tilly also enjoyed some 'Fresh Cat Grass', 'Fresh Catnip', & 'Fresh Lemon Balm' that also came 'Fresh From Our Garden' tonight. 💚💚🍅🐈‍⬛💚💚 It has been so nice eating meals made 'Fresh From Our Garden' all summer. Right now I am getting ready to bring clipping from our 'Herb Garden' in so that we can use them during 'The Winter'. Delicious lunch today… Kolrabi pesto “pasta” with sautéed sweet onion, red pepper and baby portobello mushrooms, wild caught shrimp and wild caught bay scallops. The kolrabi pesto “pasta” was left over from last night’s dinner. I had some raw sliced red peppers, sweet onion and mushrooms leftover from another meal. I sautéed the onions, peppers and mushrooms for 5-10mins until translucent and yummy. I added in the pesto kolrabi to heat through. On the the other side of the pan I added the shrimp and scallops. Cooked for a few mins on either side and then tossed them into the veggie. Yes, all in one pan! Poured into the bowl and ate it all up. So good. The kolrabi and vegan pesto were courtesy of Trader Joe’s. I love their vegan pesto; especially since I don’t have to make it. I sautéed the kolrabi but you can microwave it in its packaging.
