As someone who absolutely despises conflict and bad communication in my real life, can I just say fictional drama in a safe space is sooo tasty. Laudna and Orym were absolutely having two completely different conversations, and Laudna's half of it was poisoned by Delilah.

And then Chetney stepped in and I thought, thank god, because Travis is so good at playing him as the unexpected voice of reason. But then his "compromise" was for Orym to keep the TraumaBlade2000 and for Laudna to feed Delilah a different source of power and y'all...my heart dropped.

You know what else Chetney loves to do? Test people he doesn't trust. He's done it many times to NPC's, sometimes provoking them to see how they treat people under them, other times questioning them to see where their motivations really lie. Here he tested Laudna's motivations. If she really feared Otohan's blade was cursed, if she really just wanted to get it away from Orym and have it destroyed...or if she wanted more power for herself (Delilah).

And she chose to take the separate source of power and leave Orym with Ishta.

Above the table, I think Laudna was doing this in a half-dazed state, choosing the easy way out of the conflict, still partially under Delilah's influence - magical or not. But in-game that's not the message that got across to Chetney. He saw her choose power over concern for her friends. What he is going to do with that knowledge I don't know, but am very excited to see.

The Bluebonnet

The Bluebonnet is the Texas State flower, known for only growing naturally in Texas and no other location in the world. Funnily enough, there are 5 classified species of Bluebonnets.

These are photos I took of some rare Bluebonnet variants in the wild, which I found this Spring! The White or Albino Bluebonnet and the Light Bluebonnet, respectfully. (The last picture has some extremely dark colored bluebonnets). Finding different color variants of this one flower is so fun! The Bluebonnet is one of my favorite wildflowers :>

Ultimately, the whole Swiss and Aurora thing all comes down to being respectful of individuals and their privacy. It's already been established that the members ALL play characters on stage, you should all know by now to keep what happens on stage seperate from the actual people behind the masks. Whether anyone of them is in a relationship is none of you're business, you aren't entitled to their personal information. It baffles me that some of you need to be reminded of this

Please use your heads for once. Even if either of them had their own relationships, you don't think they would bring up staged bits with their partners? This is a tricky question, anon! The writer, Joel Emery, was mainly inspired by the Guy Ritchie films and BBC Sherlock, so I would be surprised if it turned out not to have shippy vibes on that basis. But also, he's specifically said that he's aware that his podcast has three main audiences: Sherlockians, johnlockers, and the general public (who don't really know Holmes very well). The way he talks about it suggests (to me.) that he wants to leave room for people to ship them if they want. He's also mentioned that he plans for John stay in 221B for the run of the series, rather than marry and move out to open a medical practice, as in the stories. So, yknow, it's pretty easy to ship them with all this context.

But is the plan to have them become a couple? I have absolutely no idea. For my part, I plan to listen and appreciate the series for what it has to offer. It's entertaining, it foregrounds John and Sherlock's relationship (whatever that ends up being) and I like that Emery wants to adapt every story in the canon, which no one has done before. If you're interested in Sherlock Holmes, it's hard to imagine *not* listening to it, to be quite honest.

SBS Entertainment Exclusive: EXO's appearance on Killing Voice was suddenly cancelled a day before the scheduled recording on 28 Jun. SM said that it was because that the members thought there was something else that they should record on that day instead but an insider shared that it was because Member A, who is not part of Chen Baekhyun Xiumin, would not attend the recording. First of all, I love how these panels establish a clear difference between Hawks looking at Dabi and Hawks looking at Dabi. In the scene from 240, Hawks is looking at Dabi as he's thinking about completing his mission and contacting Endeavor for backup. Like dude? You're literally staring into Dabi's eyes and thinking about Endeavor and it never crossed your mind that they have the same eyes? Chapter 267 drives this point even further by putting a close-up of Dabi's eye after he reveals his identity to Hawks. You can clearly see Hawks having an "oh shit" moment after the reveal as he truly looks at Dabi and realizes that this one piece of crucial information has been right in his face the whole time.

And second of all, this just highlights how Dabi truly is Hawks' downfall during the raid.

The whole point of Hawks' mission was to gain intel on the League so that the heroes don't make any hasty decisions and have the upper hand in apprehending the villains for good. The fact that the HPSC president specifically told Hawks "we severely underestimated the enemy" and yet he did the same exact thing is, quite frankly, hilarious.

And in retrospect, given the knowledge that we have on Dabi's past from chapter 350, Hawks could have figured out who was behind the nomu, where they were kept, and so many other things about AFO's plan for a successor if he had paid more attention to Dabi.

Indeed they would. In fact, this point actually pushed me to ask my sister-in-law, who is a therapist/counselor about it just out of curiosity. 

Here’s what I learned:

Despite what my counselor said, not all therapists were required in school to do counseling themselves to get certified. Some counselors have actually never even been to therapy themselves (not sure how I feel about that to be honest… not to deter people from going to therapy - please do if you are able) something my sister-in-law didn’t seem to be a big fan of.

When asked if she felt like she needed counseling after/because of a specific client she said that yes that can definitely be the case. She noted that empathy fatigue is often common after listening to people all day, which makes sense and that would be a common reason for some needed personal counseling. As expected, while she hasn’t had to deal with a lot of it, she did note that dealing with people with antisocial behavior disorders (ie narcissistic, histrionic… think sociopath disorders) can be especially taxing.

Given that the dsmp is a group of povs of the same story and events, I was curious on whether she often found herself taking sides when she does couples counseling. She said that there can be an initial bias at first when the base facts are presented to her, which is something she often has to check herself on, but that actually she finds that usually there is truth and wrongdoing on both sides and there is no true ‘bad guy.’ Though she did add that she has not dealt with any relationships involving more intense abuse especially relating to antisocial behavior disorders. In other words, the couples she sees likely came willingly and are sound enough in mind on both sides to want to fix the problems, if that makes sense.

So in other words, there are, much to my surprise, counselors who do not go (may not have gone) to therapy themselves, but that doesn’t make it healthy and considering the characters in the dsmp it would likely be recommended that this counselor also see someone. I will say though the implication that people in the dsmp are more problematic then real world people are is perhaps an underestimation of irl mental illness. Just because the dsmp members wear armor and carry around weapons doesn't make them more troublesome than people irl, though perhaps that is me viewing it from their world standards which I assume the therapist would be from. In either case, whether the therapist was from the realm of Minecraft world circumstances or more irl, I do imagine they being either inhumanly sane and not need a therapist of their own, or they get together with another therapist and perhaps drink over all the dsmp insanity. And whether they would be inclined to take sides I think is hard to say since there are definitely some characters who need a psych ward. Anyways… hope you enjoyed my info dump. :)

While it does seem hypocritical that the Traveler is okay with Childe, but not with Lyney and Lynette, it's important to remember that this is not the first time they have dealt with House of the Hearth members. The Traveler has first hand experience with the crimes and cruelties the group has committed, but have not experienced the same with Childe. So it would only make sense why they're more on edge with the twins.
