A Merry MerMay to you all!🧜‍♀️

One of my favorite moments from faire last year was when a small girl came over to my booth, saw this print, and declared her sheer disappointment and frustration at whoever had taken this photo, instead of helping me in my moment of peril.

I assured her that the photo had been taken the very second the swarm had attacked, and that my friend helped me right afterwards.

She still seemed very unimpressed. lol

More melodic. Almost similar to someone he used to know once. “And that made me think,” Charles says, voice bellowing from Max’s speakers. “That it was stupid that we didn't have carrots before. Like, come on, it's a farming game.” Max has no fucking idea what the hell he is on about.

so I've been reading a lot of DP X DC fics lately, right? And scrolling the tumblr tag, and reading the prompts, and also all the batfam that shows up on my dash anyway and while there is another fic idea I'm ruminating on, I suddenly got the idea for an Archer!Danny joins the batfam, because they just can't let the arrows have anything. Can't have the best normal human super heroes, can't have the best rich super hero, and now they can't even have the best of the thing they're actually good at- archers! Danny has to have aim from his ectoblasts already, and it's no stretch to assume if he wanted to get archery lessons, he could just go to Pandora or any ghost Amazon for that matter, and hey presto, archer Danny Phantom!

this moment absolutely destroys me. i mean look at them! the gentleness! the vulnerability! the care! the way gale looks like he’s practically holding himself up with that hand…before what probably amounts to a couple weeks ago, he’d told almost no one about this, and now he can not only tell someone but show them, relive it painfully but with someone at his side who will be able to on some level actually understand it. the moment of a burden — one that had until then been an sentence of indefinite isolation — being shared. and he’s ready for that to be the end! for this to be a goodbye! to be cast out and left to fend for himself with not one but two things threatening to use and destroy his body! none of his usual air of confidence is there; he’s on the ground, all raw edges and open wounds, and you can see on his face that he’s already mourning what he thinks he’s about to lose. he shares the burden and is completely ready for the weight of it to crush this new, incredible, fragile thing they’ve been building…

and then it doesn’t.

3 Matches I liked From AEW Dynamite 4/24/2024

Casino Gauntlet: While the outcome became more and more predictable as the match progressed, it was still fun to watch folks who aren't on TV every week come out at a break-neck speed. Seeing Ospreay go against KOR, Komander, Lance Archer and square off with former CHAOS stable mate, Jay White at that speed felt like an action car crash. Overall the match gave a kind of "look we are still here" vibe. Very indietastic.

Moxley vs Hobbs: I love the NJPW rules. I hate the new belt. The 20 ringout count has always lead to cool outside ring action in my opinion, and it didn't disappoint here. The match felt very competitive Daily's Place is such a unique environment visually and it lead to fun spots. Having Takeshita come out and essentially challenge for the IWGP Belt was also pretty cool.

Anna Jay vs Mina Shirakawa: Just like their ROH match from a few weeks ago. This was a good way to move the Mina/Mariah May/Toni Storm storyline along.
