I was dancing with Korra and Asami at this little get together Asami was hosting. I leaned over into Asami’s ear. “I’m gonna go get a drink.” I told her. “Ok.” She said and patted my waist. I went off to the bar and ordered a shot. As I was waiting for my shot I noticed a tall gray haired woman in a suit talking to Mako. I bit my lip jeez she’s fine. “Here’s your order,” I took my shot and threw it back super fast and rushed off to Asami. “Who’s that lady Mako is talking to?” I asked. “What?” Asami asked.

I leaned into her ear. “Who’s that lady Mako is talking to?” I asked. “Oh that chief of police Lin Beifong.” Asami said. “What’s Lin doing?” Korra asked. Asami and I laughed. “She should be doing me.” I said. Korra’s eyes widened. “Is she single?” I asked. “Yes she is and she likes women. Go talk to her.” Asami said. I nodded and turned away from them but before I went to go talk to her I took another shot. I went over to Mako. “Hey Mako.” I said. “Hey.” Mako said. “Oh Asami wants to talk to you.” I lied. “Damn ok, I’ll be back chief.” Mako said and left.

Hopefully Asami keeps Mako busy for a moment. “Hi I’m Lucy and I think you’re gorgeous.” I said. I’m just gonna let the alcohol do the talking. “I’m Lin and uh thank you, you’re gorgeous as well.” Lin said awkwardly. I laughed a little. Lin looked at me. “I’m sorry you’re just so cute.” I said. “Cute? I’m the chief of police, I'm not cute.” Lin said. “Whatever you say, chief , I apologize.” I said and tried not to laugh again. Lin just huffed and folded her arms. “You can’t do that, it just makes you cuter.” I said.

We exchanged numbers and we also agreed to meet tomorrow night for dinner. I won’t lie I’m a little upset that I didn’t get to go home with her but it is what it is. Mako took me home then I took a shower. I cleaned up then went to bed.

I got all dressed up for my dinner with Lin. I have to make sure I look good. I got a car service and got dropped off at the restaurant. “You look beautiful,” I turned my head and saw Lin coming in. “Thank you, you look beautiful too.” I said. We soon got seated. “This place is really nice.” I said. Lin nodded. “So do you take every girl you call a brat out to dinner?” I asked. “Only the ones that I can tell need to be tamed.” Lin said as she looked at the menu. I laughed. “Oh that’s cute that you think you can tame me.” I said. “I assure you I can.” Lin said not bothering to look at me.

“You’re not the first to try and I’m sure you won’t be the last.” I told her. “We’ll see about that.” Lin said. When a waiter came over to ask us what we wanted to eat Lin ordered for me and her. I didn’t argue with her, I just nodded my head. “So tell me how often do you do this?” I asked. “Not often but after spending some time with you I knew I wanted to tame you.” Lin said and looked at me. Lin has been in her office for four days now and I’m dying! I hate it here! I want my Linny! I rolled around in bed and tried to figure out something to do. A lightbulb went off in my head. I decided to call Asami. “Hello.” Asami said. “Hey, what are you doing right now?” I asked. “Nothing today but waiting for Korra to come home.” Asami sighed. “You wanna help me make bad decisions?” I asked. “Yes.” Asami said. “Yay! She loses her mind when I wear one of them.” I said. Asami nodded and dragged me into a store. She found me a black pencil skirt that had a tiny slit in it then she grabbed some black stockings.

I paid for my stuff then Asami took me home. When I got home I realized it was almost Lin’s lunch time. “Oh god!” I shouted and tossed my bags on the floor then washed my hands. I don’t even know what to make! I opened the fridge and noticed there was left over noodles. I heated them up then packed up when they were done. I got everything together then rushed off to the station. I didn’t see Mako when I got there but shrugged it off and went upstairs. I knocked on the door.

“Come in.” Lin said. I went inside and closed the door behind me. “Hi honey.” I said. “Hello hon.” Lin said. “I’m sorry I’m a little late. I went out with Asami and lost track of time.” I said as I sat on the couch. “It’s ok baby.” Lin said and came to sit next to me. Lin took the lunch and I just relaxed as she ate. “Did you eat?” Lin asked. “Linny please.” I sighed out. “You need to eat.” Lin told me. “You need to come home.” I said. “ I told you I have to stay here for a while. “When is soon?” I asked. “I wish I could tell you.” Lin said. “I just miss you.” I said softly. “I miss you too.” Lin said. Once she finished eating I laid my head in her lap. She ran her fingers through my hair. “What did you and Asami do?” Lin asked. “Shopping.” I said. “Of course.” Lin said. “I’m a girl, it's what I do.” I said. Lin just nodded. I closed my eyes and just relaxed into Lin’s touch.

I was slightly shaken awake. “Come on baby girl.” Lin said softly. “Five more minutes.” I whined. “No baby, you can’t stay here the whole night. Let’s go home.” Lin said. I was laid down but I quickly sat up. “Shower.” I said. “I’ll start your shower then I have to go back to work.” Lin said.

“No stay.” I said. “Hon I have to,” “No.” I said as I got up and gave her a hug. “Ok, ok. I’ll stay tonight but tomorrow,” I nodded. “I know, I know. Just stay with me for the night.” I said. Lin kissed my head then we took a shower. She washed my body then I washed hers. “Asami knows we fucked in her closet.” I said. “She does?” Lin asked. I nodded my head. “Well if she and Kya know then that means everyone else knows as well and as they should. Everyone needs to know you’re mine.” Lin said.
