adam parrish looks different every time you see him. that’s partially demonstrated in the first chapters of cdth, but sometimes his hair is red. sometimes it’s a spunky strawberry blond, or a golden brown, or hay colored yellow. the skin under his eyes is so thin that it gets all purple and veiny, especially when he’s tired but that’s kind of always. sometimes his skin is a sickly sort of grayish yellow but others it’s a dusty tan, a product of working on his cars in the virginia sun. his clothes always seem to fit him differently, it’s the way they hang or perhaps the way he holds himself. every once in a while he has these scary, angry, blue eyes, an inherited gift from his father — but more often theyre the same muddy grey as the sky he looked up at, clouds rolling in overhead, from when he was young. he is stringy and small and six feet tall at the same time. unlike gansey, this has never been “all there is.” and it never will be.

thinking about safehouse martin struggling a LOT with dissociation. i think martin as a person has always struggled a lot with dissociating, but i think the lonely makes it bad. i think touch is the only thing that really brings him back, and i think jon gets in the habit of touching him casually whenever he can, knowing that it grounds him. letting their hands brush when he hands martin something, leaning against him when they sit by each other, etc. i think this starts from jon watching how martin starts to go a little fuzzy at the edges when he's spacing out, how his eyes go unfocused and how his glasses fog up, all of which go away when jon touches him. i think jon develops a HORRIBLE fear of falling asleep and waking to find martin gone. i think this adds to the "there was only one bed" safehouse trope, except it's now, hey, if we don't cuddle im worried you'll fall victim to an eldritch horror god and you'll die while i'm asleep. so i think we should cuddle, you know, like just in case. for safety.

I might just be fantasizing right now, but I feel like Walter's a real touchy dude and he loves when his partner cuddles up to him. He eats that shit up and doesn't mind cuddling all day everyday. He's definitely grabbing a handful of ass no matter what position you two are in, but he's a big fan of having you lay on top of him.

Valkyrie

Kairi only likes to cuddles while winding down, whether that be before bed or after sex. Her hands are on your waist at all times and she's always pulling you closer. She's definitely gonna flirt and make plenty of sleezy comments the whole time.

Seer

He's a lover and he loves to cuddle. He wants to be very close and intimate with his partner, so of course he's gonna wanna cuddle. Expect candles, nice thick blankets and maybe even a small massage. He wants you to hear how his heart beats for you so expect to have your head on his chest often.

Ash

Ummm Ashleigh Reid is NOT a cuddler. She is all business all the time. She will literally have to be powered down before you should even consider just thinking about it. Sorry gang

Mad Maggie

Also not a cuddler, but less anti-cuddle than Ash. She's too busy girlbossing and being a Salvonian icon to cuddle. If you're cuddling Maggie, you would definitely have had to be very close to her for a very long time. She's partial to spooning if she is cuddling.

so the richie's ugly red junkyard car headcanon. you know her, you love her. you were obsessed with her as an obnoxious preteen who's dream car was a red ford (oh wait that was just me)

but i raise you, that thing isn't richie's richie doesn't know jack about cars, but you know who does??? eddie.

the losers were screwing around in a junkyard, eddie is screaming about tetanus and is generally resentful of his current predicament. and then he sees it. and by it i mean a red 1990 ford f-150. the left mirror's been knocked off, the engine is long gone, the paint is so scratched the truck is hardly even red anymore, the right door is hanging on it's hinges, the upholstery is disgusting, the bumper is dinged to hell, and eddie loves it. he'd never normally spring for a red car, but it's the most in tact he'd ever seen a junkyard car and its practically new and if he put it back together he could drive him and his friends all the way out of derry.

he sees this disgusting truck, every possible health hazard in one place, and he sees him and his friends driving up to canada just because they can. he knows he has to have it as soon as he sees it.

obviously his mom would lose her mind, so they push the truck all the way to the tozier household, where went hitches it and drives it up to the hanlon's place. the losers spend all summer working on the car, everyone contributes, and as much as its all their car, it's also definitely eddie's specifically.

they get it working, mostly by finding spare parts in the junkyard, but richie, bev and bill pitch in summer job money to buy a new motor. once it's working, they have to decide on a paint color. eddie hates red cars, he insists they're obnoxious and only idiots who don't know how to drive have red cars, but like... he's kind of attached... he says he chooses red because it'll be easier to work with what they already have than choose an entirely new color, but he's secretly grown fond of how obnoxious the car is.

the losers who have their licenses (mike, richie, bill, stan) help teach eddie how to drive on the farm. derry doesn't have a drive test centre, so all the losers pile into the truck and bill drives them all up to bangor so eddie can take his test. they all sit on the curb outside the drive test centre for the full hour it takes eddie to do the test. it then takes them five hours to drive to canada, eddie drives the whole way even though he's hardly driven up till this point. richie "navigates" but this mostly consists of him elbowing eddie while he tries to figure out the map, while stan looks over his shoulder and actually navigates.

they enter quebec around 7pm (you have to be 19 to ride in a truckbed in maine and i can't find information on that in quebec, but we're going to believe the truckbed law in maine was passed after 1993, and assume quebec has no laws on this because. it's quebec.), and immediately realize none of them speak french. ben is competent in spanish which he manages to use to understand the absolute bare minimum of french. they shell out way more money than they should for a hotel chain because eddie refuses to stay in an independent motel.

they manage to pay for a single room with two twins and a pullout couch. it is altogether a horrible night of sleep but they spend most of it talking and playing cards and eating snacks and trying to figure out if the hotel has roof access (the door says "alarm will sound" but when they try it no alarms sound so!) so it doesn't really matter if they don't sleep that well. the next day they drive up to quebec city and wander around. they have like. no money left so they can hardly do anything but ben has this shitty little camera the losers bought him for his birthday so even though they can hardly do anything they have a ton of fun sightseeing and goofing off and taking pictures.

mike, bill, stan, and richie all take turns on the drive back because eddie's totally exhausted. they get back to derry around midnight and have a sleepover in the tozier basement (where most of the parents thinks they've been staying all weekend anyways). went and maggie are so proud of eddie, and he called them from the drive test centre when he got his license.

this is the car btw. i definitely DID choose it because it was 13 year old mes dream car.

beverly meeting mrs tozier for the first time after the pennywise summer. she’s a little nervous, especially considering how mrs. kaspbrak had acted towards her when they had met for the first time. stan, bill, and eddie reassure her that mrs tozier is the nicest woman bev will ever meet, but she’s still nervous. after all, they aren’t the ones with those... rumors being spread about them by all the gossipers in town. 

but when she goes over to richie’s house with the rest of the losers and mrs tozier opens up the door, beverly thinks that she at least looks a lot friendlier than mrs. kaspbrak. she has a warm smile on her face, her hair is curly and messy just like richie’s, and she greets each and every one of the losers with a big hug, asking them how they’re doing. 

beverly is standing at the back of the group. after mrs tozier gives stan a hug and comments on how tall he’s getting and makes him promise to tell his mother hello for her, her eyes fall on the final friend of the group, to beverly. bev is expecting her friendliness to fade when it’s her turn... but it doesn’t. 

instead... it only seems to grow. all the boys head inside, and maggie tozier extends her arms outwards for a hug. “and you must be beverly,” she says. “it’s so nice to finally meet you, i’ve heard all about you from richie.” (queue richie’s embarrassed “MOOOM” from inside the house). beverly isn’t big on hugs, especially from adults, and mrs tozier seems to pick up on her uneasiness rather quickly. without a change in her expression, mrs tozier lowers her arms and instead gently places a hand on beverly’s shoulder. 

“please, come inside,” she says gently. “i’ve just made a batch of cookies, and if you want any you’ll need to hurry before my son gets to them.” beverly nods, and with a smile she walks into the house. 

beverly’s never felt safe in a home that she’s lived in before. for as long as she can remember, she’s always felt fear when at home, always on edge, always prepared for something to go wrong. but now, when she’s sitting in the tozier’s living room with all her friends, being served cookies and hot chocolate by mrs tozier, who doesn’t get mad when beverly makes a small spill on the carpet, who doesn’t get mad when richie laughs loudly, who doesn’t get mad when eddie asks for seconds of his hot chocolate... beverly thinks maybe this could be a place where she could feel safe. in a warm home, with her friends, with an adult who doesn’t want to hurt her. 

the losers hang out at richie’s house a lot more often after that summer.

of course maggie tozier knows the rumors. it’s hard not to, in a town like derry, where the women can’t help themselves from gossiping in line at the grocery store or over coffee or while waiting to pick their kids up from school. 

of course maggie has heard the rumors of beverly marsh... and it makes her sick. it makes her sick to think that these grown adults have nothing better to do with their time than to whisper these stories about a little girl, instead of doing something about it. that they’d all rather gossip and giggle to themselves like they’re in high school, than do something to help. 

and so when she sees beverly marsh on her doorstep for the first time, her offers all of her love and her comfort and her protection, hoping that maybe she can be the one to help save this child from all of the horrible things this town and its people have done to her.

idk about y'all but i'm thinking about the bumblebee movie + rise of the beasts might lead into the bayverse movies and how things would shift around.

and how then that means Bumblebee gets captured and tortured twice by sector seven (poor boy 😭😭😭), BUT that also means that i can now think about my favorite what-if scenario with the Diaz brothers:

Kris (who would be about twenty-one by the time the first transformers movie happens in 2007) gets picked up alongside Maggie and Glen, and he also meets Sam and Mikaela. He hears Sam talking about how his car turns into a robot and he's very ?????? because Mirage has been with the Diaz family since '94, and the other Autobots are in hiding.

and maybe Noah at that point is with Lennox and Epps'' team, maybe he's at the Hoover Dam on behalf of G.I. Joe, and they see each other, and both of them get the feeling that something major is happening again. They're walking beside each other, and the second they see Megatron, Noah's already shooting off a message to Mirage, and Kris overhears Sam telling Simmons to release his car, and both brothers hear the name "Bumblebee", and they just fully see red.

and Noah and Kris taking off as soon as Simmons starts walking towards where Bumblebee is being held, and hearing the sounds he's making, and Noah's panicking, because they can't lose Bee again, it almost killed Optimus, and it was probably the worst moment in Noah's life, second only to Mirage dying. Bumblebee's like a second little brother to Noah, he's pretty much Kris' best friend, so the brothers are booking it.

and they stop the Sector 7 people, and Bumblebee wakes up, and he's over the moon, because two out of his three favorite humans are here! And he's back to his bubbly, excited self, and scooping Kris and Noah up because he's not going to let them out of his sight, and the brothers aren't too keen on letting Bee out of their sight either.

and they all reunite with the rest of the Autobots in Mission City, and sure, Wheeljack and Arcee are in Peru, but Mirage is there with Optimus, and the Prime greets Noah and Kris like they're part of his own family (which they pretty much are), and at the end of the battle, Noah and Optimus both give Bumblebee Looks, and the scout knows immediately he's in for two very stern and very upset Big Brother Lectures™️ on the importance of safety and NOT almost dying during every big battle.

You meet Maggie when you were brought to Hilltop after Jesus found and help you in the woods  

She's very reserved at first not saying much to you other than asking you basic questions like if you were part of a group and what you had been doing out there 

She softens on you a little when you explain that you had been by yourself for about a month or so  

For a few days she seemed cold towards you but the longer you stay at Hilltop the more the two of you grow closer  

You would always offer to help with Hershel and eventually she told you the story of everything that happened with Glenn and Negan 

Hershel absolutely adores you and loves to nag Maggie about being able to go see you 

She never thought she would find herself with feelings for anyone else but you took her by surprise 

The way you were able to effortless bond with her son and the way you always managed to help her it was no surprise she would eventually fall just are hard for you as you had fallen for her 

The two of you share a kiss one day after a close call with a herd of walkers where you were almost lost, where you'd both end up confessing your feelings  

She knew this time around she would do anything ensure you'd stay 

She's very protective, if anyone tries to mess with you she will be there for you, if you two are out on a run she's always ready to defend you at any cost and vice versa  

Maggie is pretty affection towards you, she'll love to hug you and share small touches here and there, usually more so in private over publicly but she will still make sure you know she's there  

Would absolutely adore you and make sure you knew it 

The most comforting person you will ever meet  

If she sees you have a rough time with anything she will always be there for you and know exactly what to do in order to help you  

You both aren't always having sex but when you do it's fucking amazing  

You could spend forever making her squirm  

She loves to take control at times as well 

You looovvveee to tease her from time to time just to see her get all worked up  

Rubbing up against her a little too close when you're just trying to get by

Beth: SHE:D HAVE A FROG TATTOO!!! Either a memey one or a realistic one but it'd be a frog tattoo

Daryl: he'd get something stupid. Below is the best I could find for the vibe of it. But it'd be fucking dumb and hilarious

Maggie: in season 2 when we first meet her, it'd be like a fine line wildflower tattoo. Very small and cute and she'd know what the flower is. But later seasons Maggie def would have a grim reaper tattoo or something of the sort

Glenn: I feel like he would have a pun based tattoo like a bees knees tattoo

Rosita: she's got a knife tattoo, something pretty looking, pretty and deadly just like her. Or a snake&dagger one

Negan: negan has a skull and rose tattoo, it's probably either realism like below or american traditional it's on his bicep.

Yumiko: she'd have a very well-done floral thigh piece, delicate looking but it's so large that you know she went through hours upon hours of tattooing for it

Rick: he'd get Carl's birthday, in either roman numerals or just the regular numbers. It'd be placed on the inside of his upper forearm.
