like, don't get me wrong. madohomu and kyosaya are A+ ships. but i find myself more invested in other holy quintet ships mainly because the fandom doesn't give them as much attention but their relationships are so interesting to think about. madosaya, kyomami, homusaya, kyohomu, madomami are some of my faves.

I think it's very funny that Hitomi assumed her friends were dating
and she was wrong
but they both WERE actually gay
there's no shot that Hitomi hasn't had her suspicions for awhile, let's be honest here, the staring was just the straw that broke the camels back
that girl assumed at the very least that Sayaka was gay
little miss Sayaka "you must become my bride Madoka!" Miki?
and that's the best fucking part
because you know full fucking well that upon learning that her friends ended up with other girls she thought "I fucking knew it!"
look at her face here
just fucking look at her
taking in all the gayness with her eyes

Sayaka: The moon looks beautiful, doesn’t it?
Homura: Yeah… but do you know what’s more beautiful?
Sayaka and Homura [at the same time]: *sighs* Madoka

Sorry I’m thinking of Sayakas relation to Law Of Cycles Madoka. Sayaka was bought into the law of cycles and gained back all her memories, the lost childhood friend who literally gave her life to make sure hers wouldn’t end in tragedy, but there’s a weird displacement. This Sayaka doesn’t truly know Madoka Kaname, she just has memories telling her she does. When she speaks of the law of cycles in Rebellion, she does it in a disconnected grandeur way, something larger than herself, her savior, not someone she would have fun chats with since she was two. This isn’t Madokas Sayaka. She’s had her own life and has been bought into something, something no human could dream of, and it’s only when this happens when she remembers the contradiction that this all seeing goddess IS her best friend.
