I might of had a bit of a meltdown today. I might have even thrown anything and everything that was unbreakable out of my shed onto the lawn (see last few pictures). I might have to say it felt really good. Very therapeutic even. I now feel some progress is being made however slight. The electrician is scheduled for May 1st and I am counting down the days. Make your bed girls! I know we can all be full of excuses why NOT to-no one sees it, it just gets slept in at night, I don’t have time, I’m sure we’ve all had one of those excuses but you might be surprised that it has so many great benefits! 🛌 🛏 💤 1: It starts your day off right-accomplish first task of the day. 2: it encourages you to keep the rest of your room tidy-remember from small things, great things grow. 3: It leads to better productivity- kickstarts a chain of other good decisions. 4: It lowers your stress and improves your mood-Creates calm, relaxation, in an organized environment. 5: it just looks and feels better and cleaner-Think of a hotel bed would you want to sleep in that being unmade? For as long as I can remember I had to make my bed before I was allowed to leave the house! My mom is 71 and to this day makes her bed literally perfectly with probably 15 ironed and spotless throw pillows every single day-she said she has never missed a day! It’s definitely a habit I try to instill in my kids and have to do every morning with all the beds (if cooper doesn’t have time!). Here's an excellent example of a gallery wall from @deko_lisl . All these small pieces wouldn't be so thrilling all spread out on their own, but grouped together like this they have so much more impact!💥⁣ You can see how she used the long narrow pieces to border the sides of the group.
