who’s the cuddler: dean, for sure (dean needing a long hug after a specifically tragic movie he doesn’t really cry at movies but benny just knows or dean coming home after a bad hunt and benny taking one look at him and knowing he’ll have to hold him tight that night)

who makes the bed: dean. though they’re both pretty organised but dean likes his things sorted up at all times

who wakes up first: benny, usually (and he likes to spend a lil while watching dean sleep is he really mine how am i so lucky because he’s a lovestruck idiot)

who has the weird taste in music: benny never really gets to understand dean’s music, he leans more towards music from the time he was alive and dean sometimes raises his eyebrow at benny’s weird choices, but each other’s music makes them happy and that’s all that matters

who is more protective: i think they’d both be, in their way. benny’s dealt with a lot of shit in his life and sometimes gets over-protective when dean ends up in dangerous situations, and dean had to take care of sam most of his life so he’s just as fierce when it comes to benny’s safety

who sings in the shower: dean, and he gets really heated up in there. benny thinks he’s got a pretty awesome voice and actually compliments him on it (and dean blushes and denies it)

who cries during movies: both of them, though neither is the hard-sobbing type, they both cry silently (admitingly, benny more often than dean – cinematography is so good dean) and they almost never end up crying at the same movies (benny cries at the titanic ok, he does)

who spends the most while out shopping: as you can imagine, dean buys a lot of band merch, and benny never really understood it until he one day really went shopping, and now dean has to take care of him so he doesn’t spend all of his money at once (benny has a thing for expensive brand clothes and cologne, he just likes beautiful things)

who kisses more roughly: benny, naturally, but at times dean gets really touch-starved and he clings on benny’s mouth for dear life

who is more dominate: benny, but he’s so soft and gentle that you can’t really tell

gets jealous the most: dean. benny gets jealous too, but a proud sorta jealous, like yes, look, this beautiful human being is my boyfriend, you can watch but don’t touch (i have a strong belief that benny is just really proud of dean and believes that he’s the best thing that’s every happened to him)

one headcanon I have: it took them a really fucking long time after exiting purgatory to admit their feelings for each other, like they fidgeted around each other for months on end. benny was about to explode, dean wouldn’t understand why the hell his chest is burning, and one day benny just showed up and straight-up told dean what he’s feeling. dean was dumbstruck and all he could do was go ahead and kiss benny on the spot. (also dean loves benny’s beard and has a thing for his accent but that’s common knowledge)

nicknames: listen. every canon thing benny has every called dean and more. he’s the king of pet names and i live for benny calling dean chèr. my heart can’t hold it. dean’s not as much with nicknames, but he says benny’s name is such a fond way that there’s absolutely no doubt he loves him.
