ECCC 2024 First timer in Comic Con

I’m so thrilled to meet Jodie in person!

Finally met one of my favorite doctors in Doctor Who as a Whovian❤️👀

Jodie is absolutely amazing and lovely! We met her and did a photo Op with her☺️ She is so full of positive vibes and such an adorable person. I’m glad we were able to make it to her 1 hour panel even though we didn’t have a seat!! I really appreciate the staff was trying to squish everyone as much as they can 🥹 (She’s just sdfffgh sooo cute!!)

There was also a panel about the interstellar space program and project SETI related one. It was absolutely fascinating and intriguing. Also the audiences’ question were just mind blowing and very detailed the deep thought, the panelists from the field are awesome and there were some intriguing answers!💡

Also… experienced how big the convention would be!—And a lot of hidden Whovians and some cosplaying whovians <3 (Kind of make some friends and everyone was having fun when we were all in line waiting for the panels and photo Ops xD)

I’m still wondering who will be coming for next ECCC 😏

i think the structural nature of doctor who makes it so i cannot relate to people who are consistently obsessed with it nor can i relate to people who are exclusively casual fans the entire time. Doctor Who is one of the ultimate pieces of media that's like BUILT for having it consume your every thought for like two years and then you forget about it for a decade. And then it comes back around. But that might just be the perspective of someone who like comic book characters lol

Okay so- no spoilers but I just finished her season 12 finale of doctor who and this just is cementing how much I love her???

I almost like her more than 10th doctor- David holds a special place in my heart but I need to re watch his seasons because omfg I love 13 so much

Genuinely I am unwell because have you seen her??? In general she's really fucking pretty but then also in the spyfall 2 part episodes they put her in a suit???

I say this as an ace person but I'm starting to understand what y'all see in celebrities ngl-

Also this post so far isn't even mentioning just how good she is at acting- idk if I'm just gay and bias but Imo she's one of the best doctors acting wise they've had

Either way, David Tennant showed up at the end and said ‘what’ three times, Jodie was the one who performed a brilliant goodbye speech and the official Doctor Who social media accounts didn’t even acknowledge her.

Everyone else is pissed off because ever since that regeneration every part of 13’s era has seemed to be erased. 14 didn’t regenerate wearing 13’s outfit when every other Doctor has. 14’s sonic has parts inspired by every other modern Doctor apart from 13. Since David came back he has been on 6 covers of Doctor Who Magazine, including the fucking yearbook from 13’s last year (Ncuti has only been on two since he was announced by the way.)

And now Jodie’s wonderful acting is not being acknowledged when it so clearly should be. I spoke to Jodie about her last line at a comic con and she said she loved it so so much. She put so much love and effort and time into this show, and she is not getting the recognition she deserves.
