#HappyMonday Hope your week is starting on a great note! And if not, I hope you are taking a moment to stop, close your eyes and #justbreathe, inhaling #calmness and exhaling stress that you couldn't get rid of over the weekend. Since it's #MindfulMonday I wanted to share this #quote I've read the other day: "The eyes are useless when the mind is blind." I think it's such a #powerfulquote because it explains the simplicity of life in such a short sentence. You have to open your mind to new things around you in order to move somewhere in life and achieve more. Your mind is a very powerful thing, and some people forget it. When you fill it with positive thoughts, your life will start to change. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change as well. I'm saying it, because it really works. From the moment I got my #Reiki certificate and start practicing #mindfullness my life has changed. I became more aware of my surroundings, my depression is gone, and I just feel great and happy. And if things are not progressing fast enough in my life at the moment, I know it will change very soon, because I already feel it. It's a marathon, not a sprint! Living in a city with a crazy energy people are always running somewhere. They only look what's in front of them, missing everything else. There are so many beautiful, simple things around us we have to be grateful for, and sadly we don't notice them most of the time because we are always in a hurry. ✨🌑LOST IN THE WILDERNESS PT. 3🌑✨ Would a sat nav work in the middle of park land, or would I end up meeting obstacles where it led me? It was worth a try. While I preferred to travel in the dark to keep my own presence as quiet as possible, I compromised as the sat nav seemed to find an established path in what had become a wilderness. “Walk west” declared my phone and I nearly leaped out of my skin. No stealth left! 😂 I turned the volume down and eventually gave in to turning my phone torch on as the path led me into a corridor of trees that shut out the sky. This path, it told me, would take ten minutes to lead me home. It seemed a bit much. I knew it was faster to cut across but I wasn’t sure where I was. I was striding now. I tried not to think about how angry my son would be at my recklessness. The shoulder-soldier would laugh at me and ask if I needed him to send the paras. Then quite suddenly to my left, I recognised a row of fir trees. I knew my way. I switched off sat nav and torch and navigated the rest of the way back in the dark. In a couple of minutes I was back on the road. . It is possible to get lost a few feet from your own doorstep. But any path will get you somewhere from which you can work out a way home. I wonder at the significance of how this physical circumstance reflects my inner state. I wasn’t afraid, just anxious not to worry my son. When I hurry back from the wilderness, it is always and only for you. Taking a few detours along the way to cradle Mountain, I came across a sign indicating King Solomon cave. Stopping to inquire, I was I'm formed about Marakoopa cave, which is a wet cave with water from the Mole creek flowing through, large cavernous halls, white stalactites and stalagmites and glow worms. I drove there to take a look and was blow away by how beautiful it was. All the beautiful tendrils of stalactites coming down the ceiling to meet up with stalagmites growing from below.
