you know i listened to some nsfw audio like a month ago?... ig🤷🏻‍♀️and it was a puppy boy speaker trying the tail plug and the leash on for the first time😭he was eating the listener out in the end😭pls not only was it adorably cute like😭but also the voice of that guy sounded like jake's or i'm being too delusional at this point idk now🙂🙂

anyway this idea has been living in my mind since that day and oh god...it's def not making my life easier like...at all💀💀the man is just a dumb doggy personified idc,,,, the things i wanna do to him 🤯(i literally have no idea why i'm sending this but.. thought you'd find it interesting ^^)

he's pretty puppy. he's filthy mutt. he's dumb doggy. he's bitch in heat. all of which he'd probably 100% moan at being called😫

i'm just imagining finding out that he into it for the first time though, whether it's some kind of porn on his computer that he sucks at hiding or a pair of fluffy puppy ears hidden in his closet-the exact shade of his hair

you don't tell him you know right away though, instead you take this perfect chance-still slightly upset that he didn't tell you himself-to tease him😫😏

one morning waking up early in bed next to him, his body curled into yours, legs wrapped around your hips. clinging onto you like his life depends of it.

you lay there like this for awhile, watching him as he sleeps for a bit longer, small snores coming from it that make it all the more adorable.

you can hardly help but lightly drag a finger over his face, his cheekbones and lips and eyebrows, marvelling how a human being could be so fucking pretty. he's pretty always but especially like this. with dried drool in the corner of his mouth, features soft and a smile playing on the edge of his lips. his face is practically buried in your chest (he claims it's his favourite pillow)

he'd wake up slowly, muttering nonsense and rubbing his head against you. he'd probably reach down to grab your hand and pull it up to put it in his hair, encouraging you to scratch his scalp still half asleep and groggy.

he's so cute you could die.

but then you realize that it's the perfect opportunity.

wrapping an arm around his waist and pulling him in closer to you, slotting your mouth into the crevice of his neck, whispering to him.

"good morning~" the smile on his face is still tired, the window across the room annunciating the shine in his eyes when he looks at you. "you look so pretty puppy,"

he'd freeze at that, eyes wide, muscles tense. unsure of what he should do with himself. absolutely malfunctioning on the inside, trying not to squirm against you.

"u-I...thank-thank you?" his voice borders on breathless, his fingers getting tighter against your skin, nails digging in.

"no need to thank me, you're always a pretty puppy," you flip his body over and he lets you, enjoying the subtle manhandling as you perch him on top of you, his legs straddling your thighs, "a pretty puppy just for me, right?"

his boxers feel unbearably tight and his face is as red as a fire hydrant. all he wants...all he wants, well he wants a lot of things but this, this is by far at the top of his list.

he unconsciously begins to grind down against you, his head falling back as he lets out a long moan. "yes, yes, m' your puppy-just your puppy,"

you pull his head back to you by his hair, looking at the glassy sheen in his eyes, the way his nails dig into the palm of his hands, the way that whimpers escape from under his breath giving away just how needy he is.

fingers glide over the smooth expanse of his neck, a touch he welcomes. "good boy. and you know what good boys get?"

he looks almost timid as he replies, "...a reward?"

the smile that blooms across his face makes him feel so good, like he's pleased you some way, like he wants only to please you all the time. "good! now close your eyes for me puppy, want it to be a surprise for you."

he listens as he's told as you reach down into your nightstand, rifling through it's contents before pulling his reward out.

"open."

he opens his eyes to a simply black collar, a gold tag on it shaped like a bone with something engraved onto it.

paul aron's hair throughout the 2023 season 💁‍♂️

(also known as jack being obsessed with a certain blonde curly-haired boy)

hello hello 👋 i knew i wanted to do a longer post about paul's hair but i wasn't sure what to do... at first, i wanted to make compilations of just his different kinds of hair; like how it's sometimes super curly and sometimes flat, how it looks when wet and from behind & the side and so on. but then i decided to instead do one collage per round in the f3 championship (+ abu dhabi and one extra)(and some gifs... scroll all the way down, you won't be disappointed) !!!

the main conclusion that i came to when making this was that he's got soo MUCH hair? it's so thick?? poor boy must be sweating so much during the summer :( disclaimer: this all comes from someone who 1. has 0 experience with curls (my hair is as flat as a wall), and 2. has no knowledge of how boy hair works. or anyone else's hair for that matter, i only know my own hair. anyways...

on the collages with many pics, pls zoom in because you'll notice so many good details 🫡🫡 also, my hyperfocus/hyperfixation and time blindness rlly went crazy when i was making this last night, all of a sudden it was 5am..... so apologies if i use the same pic twice, i was a little tired when editing 😶

bahrain

bahrain was a very cute round. paul's first f3 points in the first race was very comforting, and the curls he showed off were just as heartwarming 🤭 very messy hair this round, the curls were everywhere. but they also looked super pretty, like in the last pic (where i purposefully cut out his abs because. this is a hair post, not a thirst post… i would've gotten too distracted if i hadn't).

australia

australia hair was very fluffy. it was pointing out in all kinds of directions, especially after racing sessions. in the four pics on the left, there's exactly 0 control of the hair hehe. the two pics on the right show off so much volume and just 🤯 also, the wind enjoyed blowing it in weird directions (check out the top right gif).

monaco

buddy had a lil haircut before monaco? it looks kinda neatly trimmed in the back, and slightly shorter in the front – but still very long and fluffy. looks like it's easier to handle! but still many many curls, and it still lives its own life after sessions. 🤭 the podium hair! flat and cute. and the post-quali hair (fourth column), very strange but very cute.

barcelona

the little hairband he got from simone 🥺 the two pics in the bottom left corner… not sure what his hair was doing in that part of the video, he looks like a maniac (endearingly!!). also, this was a weekend of many different hair colors; very golden in the bottom right pic, almost dark brown roots in the pic to the left of it, almost white/gray/blonde in the top left two pictures.

not a lot of hair content in this vid? a lot of paul content bcs of his win but he's wearing his helmet or the winner cap most of it. very soft and bouncy as usual though. i really wanted to include the middle picture because he's in the air mid-jump lol

yet another weekend of mixed colors and volumes. very shiny & light blonde in the sun/under lamps, but very dark blonde in other pics. also, why is his hair so straight in the bottom right pic? like compared to top right? they're just hour apart, both after the race…. idk the hair in the top right pic has such a hold on me (because i wanna have a hold of it).

budapest hair was very chaotic at times… and looking like it's been growing out quite a lot! the middle pic (and the one above it) 😭 not only does he sound so cute when he's telling his little story about his former soccer career, but the hair…. literally everywhere 🫠 so cute :(( also the top left picture has such a chokehold on me, idk if i've posted it before but it's one of my faves. not just for the hair, but the neck and the chest and just-

yet another little trim? shorter in the back and more tidy + less dense in the front? i still refuse to acknowledge the fact that the feature in spa happened but at least he was cute during the weekend 🤭 the little curl in his forehead in the middle pic 🥺 and please what's going on in the middle left pic 😭 i have a gif from that later in this post, cracks me up every time ngl

paul has got so so much hair!!!!!! especially noticeable in the middle column, especially in the middle middle pic. wow. so thick. him resting on the floor with his headphones and the hair is just everywhere :( the little curls falling into his eyes despite how short is looked just a few weekends before in spa… so pretty. love how the curls are so noticeable from the side too!!!

abu dhabi

was this peak broccoli in the season? probably. especially in karl's story with the broccoli emojis, and in the top right. and then, we have bottom right, where it's so flat? how?? anyway, he was glowing this weekend and his hair was so cute. always super fluffy, always super curly, always just sticking out everywhere. also love how the like ends of the curls are very straight out in the air (does that explanation make sense?), especially in the interview picture !! 🥦

pre/post/mid season

a lot to uncover here. first row = macau (except for top right which was abu dhabi, but wearing his macau shirt…). very messy curls but not too long? very cute. and i would guess that it's karl's hairband-thing because that's like the only time i've seen paul wear it but i see karl wearing it all the time. either way, it must feel nice for him to finally have all that hair out of his face, finally he can see properly 😭

second row = vacation hair!! the horse riding hair, very cute and so long in the front, curls in his eyes definitely. the wet hair is so so flat, can imagine it just feels good to cool it down in the hot summer too. and the mirror selfie, very short post-spa but very very curly!!

third row = gala/ceremony hair + his vacation with ralf. a lot calmer, especially the 2nd pic (!!! so flat, but the little curls in the tips…. adorable). idk it just looks pretty styled like that.

fourth row = extras lol. first two are zandvoort, no? i think so. veryyy curly. the first pic is so cute because it looks like his hair is literally floating on the top of his head, not around it. like it looks like someone just flopped some wig on top of his head and called it a day 😭 third pic from working out with karl or something, idk he just looked so cute. and then his investment pic or whatever i should call it 😭 so blonde in the tips but dark roots? cute

( summary: when you notice Wally staring at your wings one night you decide to take him on a joy ride )

You ruffled your wings and allowed any excess feathers to fall from your back. You had just finished plucking them and feathers were scattered all across the locker room. “Wally please stop messing with my feathers.” Oh yeah, and this idiot is in here too. “Why? It’s not like your using 'em anymore.” You gave him a look and he dropped some of the feathers he was messing with. “Aww come on! You never let me touch your wings, besides that one time, and they’re super soft!” He practically whined before sitting next to you on the bench. You chuckled and shook your head at his childish behavior before sighing. “How about this,” you turned to look at him, “I clean up all your feathers for you, so you don’t have to and in return, you take me on a joy ride through the night.” His eyebrow was raised and his signature smirk was on his face. “That’s..” he leaned closer as you began to speak. You glanced down at the large-ish pile of feathers that gathered near your feet before looking back to him. “A really dumb idea.” His head dropped to his lap and you laughed. “Fine then, clean up your own feathers.” He crossed his arms over his chest and dramatically looked away from you, getting up. You watched as he stormed out the locker room muttering about how he wanted to fly. A small smile graced your lips and you shook your head.

A week later you sat bored in the common room, surfing TV channels as everyone sorta did their own thing. Dick sat on the floor leaning against the couch, he was working on some type of homing device. Aqualad sat on the couch, he was the one with the remote, obviously bored as he clicked through each channel until something caught his eye. Conner laid asleep on the love seat and Wally sat near the end of the couch, but instead of mindlessly staring at the screen he was staring at you. Your wings to be specific. You noticed, and sighed, he's always had a fascination with your wings. You thought about the conversation you had a week ago and smirked. You're so bored right now you might as well do something that could be fun.

You turned to look at Wally who looked back towards the screen when you turned. You chuckled and flipped off the back of the couch. Going over to him, you whispered. "Wally." He hummed and looked at you with a questioning look in his eyes and a nervous smile on his lips. "Were you staring at my wings?" he awkwardly chuckled and scratched the side of his head. "Me? Pfft, no way." You stared at him for a second, thinking over what you were about to agree to and sighed. "Hey remember a week ago when you asked me to take you on a joy ride?" He immediately perked up upon hearing those words leave your mouth. He hoped this would lead to you doing exactly that, taking him out flying and he was right, it did.

-on the roof-

"Alright so do I sit on your back or what?" You look towards Wally, who was smiling from ear to ear with his arms crossed over his chest. "..I'm gonna act like you didn't just say that." He laughed as you stretched. "No but seriously, how is this gonna work exactly?" You held off telling him and stretched out your wings to their full length. You look towards Wally who's jaw was practically on the floor. "Impressed?" You smirk and Wally chuckles, "quite."

You flapped your wings a couple of times before lifting yourself off the ground. "Face west and hold your arms up." He was a little confused but obeyed nonetheless. You flew around in the air for a bit to make sure everything was good before swooping back down and grabbing both of Wally's arms, pulling him up with you in the air. He slipped downwards initially and let out a shriek that made you laugh. You readjusted your grip in the air since Wally was gripping your arm so hard.

After the initial shock wore off Wally was smiling and laughing as you cut through the night air. He looked down at the ocean below him before looking up at you with a large smile. "Thank god for your strong arms, cause' this is awesome!!" He cheered and laughed, swinging his legs back and forth in the air. You laughed and cheered as well, flying a bit higher. "Wanna try something?!" You yelled over Wally's cheers and he looked at you, nodding his head. "You gotta trust me alright?" He looked confused before you swung your arms up, throwing him in the air. His eyes widened as he felt himself fall, watching you as you do a flip above him before swooping down quickly and catching him bridal style. He held onto you for dear life for a moment before laughing out of shock. "Holy crap." he muttered. "You alright there?" You slowly stopped, your flying turning into a hover. "Do that again!" You jumped, slightly surprised, though it quickly wore off. You hummed, "Again then?" "Yeah! Let's go even higher!" You smirked and started flying again with a cheering Wally in your arms.

EXTRA:

"What are those two idiots doing?" Aqualad asked as he stood on the roof with Dick, who was watching the both of you through binoculars. Aqualad squinted, "Is Y/n playing catch with Kid..?" Dick nodded as his eyes followed the two of you. "Oh- there he goes." They watched as Wally got thrown up into the air before watching you go to catch him again, only to see you miss him completely. Watching Wally plop into the ocean the two heroes sighed as they saw you dive in after him.

Thinking of You (Valorant Chamber x Fem!Reader) (Angst, Fluff)

Summary: Chamber arrives with his team in Paris, the city of love. Or so they say. They take a little detour on memory lane.

CW: Slowbubrn, Angst, lots of regret, lots of fluffiness at the end, drama, lots of crying, the author loves to see the reader and Chamber suffer. (A/N: This was supposed to be an Angst/Smut fic, but I kinda removed the smut cuz it didnt fit. Should i write chamber smut tho cuz idk if anybody wants it. Feel free to request.)

The city of Love. Or so the rest of the team called it. Astra and Skye both marveled at the old buildings below them, pointing out the beautiful churches and bustling life on the streets. “If I knew we’d be here, I would’ve asked Jett to come with us,” Phoenix yelled so he could be heard, the sound of the aircraft drowning his voice into a whisper. “I’m envious. How does it feel to be back home Chamber?” Yoru asks rhetorically, smirking and chuckling to himself.

Chamber caressed the case of his gun, eyeing the floors of the aircraft. He didn’t like being in Paris. The place that used to feel like home was now just a husk of what it used to be.

But it wasn’t always like this for him. There was a time when he didn’t feel pain coming back home to France. There was a time where the city of love truly felt like home. It was because of her.

She was the love of his life, the only one that he ever saw himself spending the rest of his days with. He remembered her soft locks of hair, those beautiful eyes, the feel of her skin, and her voice. After working abroad, she was the one he came home to. She was his home. Paris was the city of love.

She was a radianite engineer that worked for Kingdom Industries, smart and innovative. They met by chance through a project they both worked on. He chuckled in his seat, remembering how hard he tried to impress her with his weapons expertise and his golden business card. It was one of the very few moments that he actually tried to be cool. She found his efforts amusing, and after the fifth time he asked, she eventually said yes to a date. All expenses paid for by him, of course. He treated her like a queen.

She was an independent and level-headed woman, even after they became a thing. But anytime she would be in his arms, hidden away in their little sanctuary, in the house they built, on the bed they made, she turned into the gentlest and sickeningly in love person ever. He felt like he was wanted and needed. And if he ever disappeared, he would be missed. That was something he longed for, as someone who worked in the covert and secretive business. It was a comfort that someone who he loved was always there, looking for him.

He remembered fond memories of them, the vivid images swam in his head.

He held her hand, kissing it tenderly. “Ma cherie, you are so beautiful. Your radiance is something even radianite cannot contend with,” he said against her hand, then he proceeded to kiss her palm, then thumb, and finally, he pressed her pulse on his cheek. “What do you mean? My hair’s a mess,” she laughed, grabbing his other hand and squeezing. It was a lazy Sunday morning, and they decided to sleep in.

They sat on the bed, in front of each other with their legs crossed. The white sheets were strewn about, bedsheet crinkled at the corners. Outside the window, the sky was bright but gray. It was raining, the wind from the windows blowing on the curtains softly. The light from the outside was the only thing illuminating the room.

“Happy anniversary my love,” she whispered, moving closer, staring into his eyes. Their foreheads almost touch, and he gives her hand a gentle squeeze. He often travelled all over the world, but no view could ever compare to what was in front of him. “Happy anniversary, mon amour.” Quiet moments like these were close to his heart. His life was crazy, hectic and stressful, and with a kiss from her, a soft look, and a few encouraging words, all his worries would falter away. He gave her a peck on the lips, smiling. “Thank you for choosing me.”

He wished he could stay in that memory forever. But he couldn’t. He could only dream.

He had a mission to fulfill. Something that would change the world and his life forever. Together with his double, they would desecrate the whole Kingdom operation in Fracture. He had it all figured out: his weapons of choice, their positions, escape routes. Everything was accounted for.

Except for her.

He was already a person of suspicion in the whole operation after a lousy move he made. He made sure that she would be transferred to another site before the opening day of the reactor, much to her disappointment. She didn’t know that this wouldn’t be the only disappointment she would be having.

“I want to end things with you civilly,” he almost choked out his words. His expression was serious, but his heart was beating fast. His hands sweated in their gloves as she stared at him with wide eyes.

“What?” the word barely made it out of her lips. She held her night gown with clenched fists, trying her best to keep herself together.

“I’m moving to another country for a more… important job. Unfortunately, it entails isolation, and I’m afraid that it will be a hassle for me to keep this relationship going. So excusez-moi, I must pack for my flight,” he said as robotically and as coldly as he could, turning his back on her. He pretended to grab some of his clothes as she stood there silently, trying to understand what he said.

“B-but I don’t understand… Vincent we’ve made it work despite the distance… despite the long days and nights apart, and suddenly it’s a problem for you now?” She grabbed his shoulder and pulled him back to face her. That was what she always did, consulting logic before her emotions, but her tears told another story. It crushed his heart seeing her in tears.

“This job requires all of my attention, and I cannot have you as a distraction.” He replied curtly, looking into her teary eyes, and she took a step back. “I-is that all I am to you? A-a fucking distraction?” She says, but before he could reply a rehearsed sentence, she yells painfully. “We’ve been together for years Vincent! Years! I gave you everything, and I was ready to spend the rest of my life with you!” She cries, her voice echoing in the room. The moonlight was glaring at both of them in the dim room.

“What about us? What about me? You said you love me. You said you loved me!” She beats on his chest, but he does not move. He does not flinch or defend himself. He just stands still. “You lied, you lied to me.” She cried, and he couldn’t take it anymore. He grabbed her cheeks and kissed her as if it was the last time. He held her like there was no tomorrow, and he touched her like he would be a dead man soon.

And as she woke the next morning, it was as if he was never there. As if he never existed. The bed was made up on his side.

That was the last time he’d seen her in the flesh. He made a deal with Cypher for updates about her. Apparently, she retired after the accident. She used all her money to start a small business in the heart of Paris. A café where she was the barista. It did well from what he could tell. She had her run of lovers, but currently she had no one. He chuckled, finding it hard to believe no one would be interested in the numerous regulars she had.

“Why are you smiling to yourself?” Phoenix pokes Chamber’s arm, and he snaps out of his trance. “He’s probably plotting something,” Skye jokes. “Why don’t you make use of your riches and pay for some pastries we could munch on!” Astra chimes as she hopped off the aircraft.

He breathed in the Parisian air. He smiles fondly. “I know a place.”

“He’s paying right? He better be ready, cause I’m trying everything,” Yoru smirks as he eyed all the bread and pastries displayed behind the glass. Chamber stood behind all of them in the line. The café was moderately full that their commotion wasn’t something unusual. “Je voudrais pan au chocolate,” Sky says, or at least tries to. Her australian accent was apparent.

“You reckon we can beat each other with a baguette?” Phoenix asks, and Yoru smirks. “Only one way to find out. We’ll get two of those.” He requests.

“Okay, noted on that. Anything else?”

He tried to keep his composure, hands tucked inside his pockets. That voice was familiar, too familiar. He held his breath. It was her.

“Hmmmm, I want the croissant. Did I say that correctly? Anyway, what about you?” Astra says, pointing her golden fingers at him. She followed her gaze, and his face registered in her head almost instantly. They stare at each other as she waited for him to speak. She was frozen in place, but his voice melted her down.

“Coffee. Hold the cream please, merci.” He says simply, pulling out his credit card. It was designed with his iconic golden streaks, something she couldn’t mistake for anything else. She held her hand against her chest and spoke quietly. “Vincent?” She said carefully, shakily holding out her hand for the card. He instead took her hand and held it against his warm lips. “Y/N. Ça fait un bail, ma cherie,” he greets, squeezing her hand.

She pulls her hand away, stepping back from the counter. She was breathing heavily, panicking. “Excusez-moi,” she excuses herself and retreats into the back of the café. After a few moments, a different person serves them. The other agents eye Chamber strangely as he casually receives back his card. He was unbothered by all that, and they became curious.

Sometime as they sat on one of the booths, Chamber spotted someone from the counter in a hooded jacket, walking quickly out the door. He figured it would be her, so he stood up and followed. “What’s up with him,” Yoru asks, face stuffed with bread. “I don’t know, but it definitely had something to do with that pretty lady earlier,” Phoenix replies, cheeks fat. Skye takes pictures of them.

“Mademoiselle, please stop.” He starts, pulling her back by the wrist. But as she spun around, a strong slap lands on his face. The whole café stops and stares.

“Stop? For what? I don’t wanna hear anything you have to say.” She pulls her wrists free but he grabs her arms instead. He drags her upstairs to the second floor, a room mostly reserved for meetings, parties or other events. He locks the door behind him before facing her again.

“S’il vous plait, let me speak. Please Y/N, I missed you with all my heart,” he begins, but she struggles. “Shut up! Don’t lie to me, don’t speak to me, don’t, don’t…!” She cries, her struggling becoming weaker. Hearing him say he missed her made her break down and cry. Her knees got weaker and she leaned on to him, beating on his chest. “Let go of me! Let go…!” She cries harder, and it broke his heart hearing her voice crack and falter.

He pulled out a chair from under the table and sat her down as she broke down on the table. She cried in French, all the pent up frustration and anger pouring out of her. He couldn’t blame her. It was a bad idea coming here all of a sudden, bringing back distant painful memories she so desperately tried to move on from. But she couldn’t, and neither could he.

He sat there quietly, rehearsing what he was about to say. She looked different. She was older and more mature looking, her lips rogue red, arms more defined through her shirt. Her voice was the same, even as she cried. He missed her immensely, and wondered how it felt to be at home again, in her arms.

“I do not know what you are trying to do but I do not want to see you. I do not want you near me,” she says finally, leaning on the table. He kneeled in front of her and held her hand, his other hand on her cheek. “Mon amour, let me explain everything. Please, I did not mean to leave you, to leave us behind. I had to do it, for your sake. For the world’s sake. I had a mission, and I had to keep you safe.”

He then proceeds to explain the protocol and how they protected the world from thieves from another Earth. How radianite was in danger in this Earth, and everything that he felt was necessary to tell. He watched her look at him in disgust and confusion. Occasionally she would whisper ‘liar,’ but he willed himself to continue.

“I’ve suffered everyday knowing how much you’d come to hate me for my decision, and I lived with pain in my heart since I left. You were never not on my mind, ma cherie. Not a day goes by that I’ve not wondered how you were, who you were with, if you were safe or not. Believe me, I tried for your sake, for your peace of mind. I didn’t want to hurt you any more than I already have,” he removes his glasses, running a hand through his hair in frustration.

“Anytime I am in Paris, all I want to do is run home to you. Abandon everything, change my name and stay with you like before. If only life were that merciful,” he lays his head on her lap, squeezing her knee. She felt her skirt get wet, and she realized he was silently crying. Vincent never cried. It’s not my style, he once said. Her hand hovered above his head shakily. She was still mad, but she couldn’t deny her heart. She petted him as he wept, hugging her legs, begging her to listen. The lump in her throat was painful, but she spoke.

“D-do you still love me?” She asked, a tear running down her cheek. She wanted to hear it from him again. She longed for those words as much as he did hers. “I do, I always have,” he replies, looking up at her. She smiled through her tears, then bit her lip. “Please say it. Tell me you love me, please…” she begged, and he swallowed the lump in his throat. “I love you Y/N. I love you,” he replies, kissing her lips as he helped her up from her seat.

Their kiss was deep and filled with longing. He melted in her arms like cold butter on bread, and as much as her mind hated it, she embraced him. And when she’s able to gasp for air, he would give her pecks on the cheek, nose, chin. He could not get enough. After a while they both settled in silence, foreheads touching as he kept her steady in his arms. He never knew he was so deprived of love until he was home again.

He could tell that she was still hesitant, avoiding his eyes, but he caressed her cheek. “I promise, I will make it up to you. I will make up for all the pain I’ve caused, and all the time we’ve lost. Hurt me if you wish, just make me yours again.” He begged, and she looks up at him wearily. “H-how do I know you’re not going to leave me again… how do I know you’re not lying…” She sniffed.

“It was wrong of me to keep my job a secret from you before. I will not make that mistake again. But forgive me for withholding details. I do not want to put you in danger.” He begins. “If it will make you feel better, I would like to introduce you to some of my… coworkers. It was rather rude of us to leave them out of the blue.”

She sniffs but nods, wiping her tears. She pulls away from his embrace and straightens her skirt, wiping her hands on them. Her face was flushed red, eyes puffy from crying. He was going to have to explain a lot to the others.

“You have a girlfriend?!”

Most of the team was surprised, Astra immediately sending messages to the others about the latest tea. “Jett is gonna flip when she hears about this.”

“Man, I used to think all your pizzaz was just a ruse. Now I gotta take actual notes. Damn,” Phoenix slumped on his seat, staring at Y/N who was rather mesmerizing without her apron on. She chuckles lightly, shaking her head. “I’m not his girlfriend,” she corrects, biting the inside of her cheek. They all turn to Chamber as he sipped on his coffee nonchalantly. “Yet.” He continues, and she rolls her eyes. “It’s going to take a lot more than just words to convince me.”

“Do not worry. I do not intend to only charm you with my words. You’ll find that I am plenty fun with actions as well.” He chuckles, holding her hand underneath the table. She gazes at him softly and smiles. She doesn’t know how this will end, but somehow, with him being more honest, she was willing to give it another chance.

Yoru’s face scrunches up at the flirting happening in front of him. “Please, not in front of my croissant,” he groans, and Skye hits his shoulder. “Shush.” Y/N smiled at all of them. She was happy he had these people around him to keep him leveled.

I know this is weird to dump on y’all but can I vent for just a few minutes? If this is even considered a vent since it’s not anything sad, I just wanna get this off my chest real quick.

(If you don’t want to read the essay I wrote scroll to the bottom and just read the TLDR 😅)

I like being a woman. I do. I like using she/her pronouns. I like wearing pretty feminine stuff. And in general I just like to be feminine. I’m happy being a girl.

But I just always wanted to just- try on a suit- JUST JUST HEAR ME OUT FOR A SECOND-

I wanna look like a dapper young gentlemen- like a very posh man that wears like- like one of those eyeglass thingys-

I also wanna have a mustache, LIKE THOSE ONES THAT ARE FLUFFY AND COVER YOUR MOUTH- the- THE PAINTERS BRUSH MUSTACHE!! Or examples like: The lampshade, the handlebar, the Hungarian, OR THE IMPERIAL (that one’s GODAM GORGEOUS-)

But more about the suit- I wanna- I PICTURE myself in a black slick suit with a white undershirt and a silk like tie, with nice shiny black buttons and some white gloves to match the undershirt. To show sophistication. With one of those top hats OH I LOVE THOSE!!

I’d like to see it on me but I wanna look more masculine in it like- like what I just said I wanna have a mustache and OH such a deep voice!! I wanna be those narrator voices that are soothing and just, you can fall asleep to them.

I wanna look dapper, I wanna look snazzy, I WANT TO WEAR A SUIT. I want to have a cane that I can lean onto while standing, I want other men to talk to me like if I were just another guy.

I WANT TO BE ONE OF THOSE GUYS- that are like, buff but also a bit fat since, ngl I would genuinely like to be a fluffy guy, AND REALLY TALL and look down at people. I want to be tall too not just as a man but as me because I just wanna be the size of my dad. At LEAST 6’0 that’d be AMAZING.

I WOULDN’T JUST WANNA WEAR A SUIT EITHER- I wanna be a gentlemen that wears warm cream colors and a nice soft brown sweater with a beanie and THOSE BOOTS. (You know the ones I’m talking about-). I wanna have big legs and wear those jeans that look HUGE to other people but are normal for you cuz you’re just a big guy! I wanna wear that, THAT AMAZING SMELLING COLOGNE GOD DO I WANT TO WEAR COLOGNE.

Okay- to wrap things up- sometimes, I just want to look masculine AND IF ANYTHING IF I CAN’T LOOK MASCULINE AND APPEALING (and smoke cigars like one of them guys in the movies, drink alcohol or beer even though I don’t like it- OH AND HOW HAVE I NOT MENTIONED WANTING TO HAVE THAT MAN GOLFER FIT-)

OKAY BUT REAL QUICK- I’d want to have like A BUNCH OF PAPER BOY HATS (I already wear them and I LOVE THEM SO MUCH- but if I looked like a man?? 🤯🤯) with like different colors to have one each day to match the shirt I’m wearing- with brown pointed at the tip shoes that are shiny and SO SO HANDSOME!!! I wanna look handsome I want someone to tell me I look handsome in like a vest and a red tie with a paper boy hat and nice cologne and A GOD DAMN SOPHISTICATED ASS MUSTACHE!- And when I go golfing with buddies I have the casual golfer fit, BECAUSE THEY JUST SO NICE AND SPIFFY AND HANDSOME I WANNA LOOK LIKE THAT!!!

I love being a woman, I REALLY DO- I like being a woman because in the future I wanna look beautiful in pretty dresses and nice necklaces and pretty shiny hair (short obviously-) and cute glasses to match my cute outfits! Heck I wanna wear some of these dresses:

Vintage I know- but you gotta admit they look GORGEOUS!!!

And I’ll admit I’m completely fine with being a woman because of this! I wanna look pretty in dresses, be called beautiful, have a dazzling outfit to make myself look even prettier!

But I also just, wanna look handsome! Wear a suit. Have a mustache. Have a nice deep voice and- funny story- I remember I saw an episode of Steven Universe where Pearl was wearing a suit and I thought she looked AMAZING!!

I ended up telling my mom that when I got to Prom I want to have a suit, which my mom laughed and jokingly said I would look like a lesbian. Of course I don’t like woman like that, I think they’re all beautiful but just not like that. But in general I thought to myself I just wanna see myself in a suit, a tie, nice shoes, a nice hat, with cologne. And I again don’t even have to look masculine, I just want to look handsome and spiffy!

I started liking the idea of having masculine facial hair because I can’t stop thinking about if I did have those things, they would be AWESOME!!

I’m sorry if I ended up writing too much or confusing you with my words, so in long short of it:

I like being a woman, wouldn’t mind wearing a suit, wouldn’t mind having a masculine voice features hair etc, and I wanna look handsome. But I still like dressing femininely.

I’m sorry for the long talk, I just wanted to spill my mind a bit, nothing much to it though 🤷‍♀️

I’ve been seeing ppl when making their HMS designs usually point out design details and I didn’t initially do that w mine when I posted them so uh better late than never ig!

Gonna repost the designs here just for reference:

Ok on to the notes!:

Heart:

-circles/round shapes

-fluffy/poofy hair

-more casual/comfy clothes (almost like a pajama look?)

-black as a accent color to act as a call back to that originally being his color

-lots of heart shapes (the sides of his shoes, shoe laces being loopy rather than the X shape I usually do to make a heart style shape, the tie on his sweatpants etc etc)

-stitches/rag doll aesthetic (nod to the “tore me at the seams” line, also just because I personally associate stitches with hearts?? No reason idk just an unconscious thing ? Maybe it can be seen as a foil to mind being robotic and heart being “soft”? Idk there’s definitely symbolism to it I’m just too stupid to articulate it sorry lol

-blindfold is expressive/works as an emoter/has sonic eyes logic, just bc I think it’s really fun to draw, he can be cartoony, as a treat.

-eyes start like the others (white w black/dark iris) but after going blind the colors inverse (black with white iris) (OMG LIKE IN FNAF!???!?🤯)

-purple heart shaped pupils

-wings optional I’m still debating on them BUT I’m definitely making it be so him and mind get a angel and devil on the shoulder theme (plus the added thing about heart playing the victim “perfect little angel who can do no wrong” and how he vilifies and (quite literally in this case) demonizes Mind)

-bleed from chest

Mind:

-square shapes

-hair slicked back rather than in his face like the others

-collared shirt under sweater to give a more presentable vibe

-platform boots to make him taller/give him the superiority complex (plus they look cool that too lol)

-necklace is a brain because …you know…. mind (made my designs before the Q&A revealed what the necklace actually was, so jus’ took creative liberty, plus so him being the representation of the mind was more visually shown considering how heavily I plastered hearts and eyes on Heart and Soul lol (I’m just gonna say the irl/drum stick necklace can be part of my CJ/Whole design instead))

-YOU UNDERSTAND MECHANICAL HANDS ARE THE RULER OF EVERYTHING ok but seriously: robotic design just in general, I really like his split on the top head I’m proud of that idea lol (actually if it’s not obvious but I tried to give all of them some form of… something going on with their faces!! So hearts stitches minds bolts and souls half and half you get it)

-blue square pupils, it’s hard to make out unless you zoom in but I give him android style eyes (those lines going from the corners of his pupil to his iris, kinda like how portal does it?? I don’t remember oof but that almost like— camera zooming in kind of look? That, I was going for that))

-like heart, his old color (white) acts as an accent color

-would have bat wings as previously mentioned to insinuate demon motif

-bleed from head

Soul:

-triangles/sharp/pointed shapes

-combo of both half and half and gray colors

-almost like?? Punk style clothing?

-patches on jacket (a crown, upside down cross, eye, eclipse, trident, and heart respectively) (the cross was semi a nod to hokum all ye faithful just bc I like that cover a lot personally lol)

-messier hair

-halo intended to resemble rope/noose but idk how obvious I made it idk ??

-shadow half of face to reference the CCCC cover art and their appearance in light/night

-the extra eyes are optional/at will

-more a lore thing but I HC the “shadowy form” was originally an at will thing when he became mad, but after some particularly bad day it ends up getting stuck like that

-gets a more biblically accurate angle style appearance (eye motif/body horror/halo etc) Soul is the god to Heart and Minds shoulder angel and devil if you get what I mean (both to nod to the general concept of the soul being rooted heavily in religion as well as two wuv and the soul electric)

-red ring shaped pupil to insinuate a halo shape

-half and half wings

-bleed from eye (eyes are the windows to the soul/angle motif/soul always watching and having to keep an eye on H&M)

Whole:

Wasn’t going to mention him considering I literally just… drew Chonny from TMR and that’s it lmao?? But eh might as well mention him while I’m here

-regular shaped pupils (static colored)

-tally hall color nail polish (nod to the CCCC cover art)

-hair is more naturally drawn rather than stylized/shaped

-white sweater to act as an inverse to HMS all having black/dark colored sweaters

-similar shoes to Heart, half and half jacket to match Soul, necklace to match Mind (not in ref but will be added later probably)

Extra/general stuff/small details:

-Their hair frizz bits are all matching their previously mentioned shape language (and lack there of in Whole’s case)

-eyes:

-the before (haha get it) they fully formed/gained consciousness designs keep to same general shape language idea, and gray specifically has a mouth as a nod to how Soul was the first one properly shown/we were shown their lips while the other two still were kept as the white and black heads for a bit before they inevitably got shown properly in TME

-the pre night/light designs I also don’t really feel the need to mention just bc they are pretty straight forward n snagged from TME/just their regular designs but missing the added layers n jackets n stuff ? Plus ig the added detail they are much more humanoid at the start I think is neat :3

12" Of Pleasure 1994 House / Garage House / Dance-Pop

Firmly settling right into the middle of Pride Month with this look back at some vintage, early-to-mid-90s, certifiably gay dance jams. UK label Almighty Records has been a very popular outfit among the gay crowd since its 1989 founding, and with this album from '94, they put together a little collection of tunes that was made of both dance covers from their own catalogue as well as tracks licensed from other labels.

Now, you all know that classic early-to-mid-90s gay club sound. It's that carefree shit that makes you feel like you're dancing blissfully on a light and fluffy cloud. High-pitched string synths that surge and squeal; sharp, rich, and cheery piano chord stabs; soft combinations of kicks and snares; and a female vocal that exhibits some passion as she typically sings about love. It's deadly when done right, but by that same token, given that there's a basic formula for it, it can also feel, well, a bit formulaic and disposable at times too.

But there's two songs that manage to pull that sound off exceptionally well here: the "Woman's Prerogative mix" of Sybil's "When I'm Good and Ready," and the "Mad March Hare mix" of Kylie Minogue's "Better the Devil You Know." Both of these tunes apply that early-to-mid-90s gay dance formula, but Sybil's song comes with these added polka-dot electronic bleeps on it, and Kylie's song is just a prime example of the formula being executed perfectly. And both songs on the production tip involved the same people too. Sybil's was written and produced by Mike Stock and Pete Waterman, and Kylie's was by Stock, Waterman, and Matt Aitken. That Stock, Waterman, and Aitken trio were known as prolific UK pop producers for quite some time too, but Aitken ended up splitting from the other two in 1991.

But my favorite song of all on this album is UK dance group Undercover's 1992 poppy house cover of Gerry Rafferty's 70s smash hit, "Baker Street." The original version of this song features probably the second most iconic use of saxophone in the entire pop music canon—just behind George Michael's "Careless Whisper"—and Undercover cleverly decided to bring it back in the early 90s to use within a dance context. But while that sax part is from the 70s, the use of it here in Undercover's version is also somewhat paradoxically way ahead of its time too, because it's utilized as the song's drop, which seems to presage that whole early-to-mid-2010s craze when using sax as the drop in a dance tune appeared to be all the rage. And I'm sure that Undercover's version received some updated remix treatment in that era too.

I also don't think that most Americans are aware of this song either, because while it was an enormous top-fiver throughout most of Europe, it didn't actually end up charting Stateside at all. So, you could probably slay something like a wedding dancefloor with this in the US, because practically no one would be expecting to hear that famous Gerry Rafferty sax part, and once they did, it might cause them all to collectively lose their shit 🤯. It would probably work better with the radio edit instead of this extended version though, because the radio edit hides the sax until the chorus, and this extended version actually opens with some of it.

And another reason why I particularly adore this song is because it also incorporates my favorite synthesizer sound from this era: the Korg M1's Organ Preset 2, which has been used in a whole bunch of different songs, and perhaps most famously in Crystal Waters' "Gypsy Woman," which is another early 90s gay club classic.

Much of this album honestly feels a bit lacking almost three decades later, but the few tunes that I've mentioned in this post here still make for some exquisite examples of terrific early-to-mid-90s gay dance fare.
