I Lolitabili #2 - Snag Tights

Dopo un'infinita eternità ritorno con un altro episodio. Oggi voglio parlarvi di un brand di collants, leggings e calze (principalmente) adatti praticamente a qualsiasi taglia.

Snag Tights

Le calze Snag Tights sono realizzate in Italia, stando al loro sito web, poco più a nord del lago di Garda. Sempre stando al sito dell'azienda, Snag Tights è carbon-free, utilizza acqua riciclata nei processi di produzione, e in gran parte dei propri prodotti sono assenti materiali di origine animale.

Purtroppo non sono ancora riuscita a comprare un paio delle loro calze, ma ho comunque deciso di parlare di Snag Tights perché ogni volta che si chiede un consiglio su dove comprare collant plus friendly, il loro nome è tra i primi ad essere menzionato.

Non solo: offrono anche prodotti in taglie adatte a persone da una costituzione petite, o di statura bassa, da chi ha fianchi e stomaco più prominenti a chi li ha meno prominenti e tonici, e così via (tranquilli: offrono una comodissima tabella come guida per scegliere la taglia più adatta!).

In particolare, nella comunità EGL sono discretamente popolari i collant con costellazioni e a tema segni zodiacali. Altra hit di successo tra gli amanti della j-fashion (e del kawaii in generale) è stata la collaborazione ufficiale con Care Bears, l'iconico cartone animato, che ha dato vita a calze sicuramente apprezzate (tra gli altri) da chi veste sweet lolita.

Each city was selected by me from "The Rulership Book" by Rex E. Bills, alongside one fact that matches that particular sign's energy! There are more cities and places that align with the vibration of each sign, but these are the ones I picked for this post. All pictures are from Google Images.

Nieves Navarro García alias SUSAN SCOTT (born November 11, 1938) is a retired Spanish-born Italian actress and fashion model. So theres kind of plush dolls that have grown to be REALLY popular especially among the Genshin Impact fandom so I took a little peep at one site that sells them to see what other characters they do and LO AND BEHOLD! there's a possibility of Hetalia characters!

For what the dolls look like since they haven't made these guys yet, they're incredibly cute plush dolls! Here's an example of one they got a lot of interest for, Yuji from Jujutsu Kaisen! Their hands and feet have embroidered pawbs on them just like my big Kumajiro!

Here's another example someone did get, it's literally Soap from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and you can see the toe beans!

Did I also mention that you can dress them up too? Now imagine Italy with a Capybara onesie!

There's also bigger dolls too, such as certified Tumblr Sexyman Emet-Selch doll (Yes many of them come NAKEY! For the purpose of dressing them up of course)

I do believe most of these dolls are poseable because they have a skeleton inside of them, so you can have your funny country guys do funny things for pics :o)

Also from the screenshot I provided, if you do give your $1 deposit to Ruadoll, they will give you $5 credit towards your purchase of your funny country people, IF they do get them made! (if they don't, they'll just refund you back)

However

I do not know if any other doll enjoyers have bought from this site before, and I don't want to have a lot of disappointed people be scammed because as a lolita myself, it seems like they're affiliated with Devil Inspired, which is basically a reseller of jfashion (mostly Lolita and recently, Jirai Kei) from Taobao, notorious for hiking up prices and having shit service unless you basically say "a lolita fashion youtuber i enjoy sent me here" and then give you good service?? what

I have had experiences with Taobao shopping services because Taobao (which is basically like Amazon but only for China, hence using a shopping service) has some gems I have bought for lolita because there are so many amazing lolita brands on Taobao but I am not well-versed in dolls, especially plush dolls! (rest in peace, C.C. Cat) Also I cannot speak any Chinese dialect at all (ie, Mandarin, Cantonese) so I gotta use Google Translate oops

I Lolitabili - #1: Camomilla Milano

Con questo post inauguro un piccolo progetto che ho in mente da mesi e mesi - una serie con lo scopo di scovare e condividere tutti i marchi e negozi europei o italiani lolitabili, ovvero integrabili in un guardaroba EGL (Elegant Gothic Lolita). 

Pro:

dare una mano all'economia locale

risparmiare su dogana e tasse

Contro:

la realizzazione che esistono opzioni lolitabili a due passi da casa nostra (o poco più) (oh no, il mio povero portafoglio!)

Non vedo l'ora di condividere tutto ciò che troverò con voi, quindi iniziamo: il primo brand è Camomilla Milano*!

Camomilla Milano

Sul sito ufficiale del brand si legge: "Fondata a Milano da Grazia e Maurizio Belloni, compagni di lavoro e di vita, Camomilla Milano è un’azienda italiana, creativa e visionaria, produttrice di accessori moda che spaziano dalle borse ai portafogli, ai bijoux, agli accessori per capelli."

Ho scovato Camomilla Milano totalmente per caso su Vinted, attirata dalle loro borse. Investigando ho scoperto che molti loro prodotti non solo si integrano perfettamente con moda lolita, ma forse addirittura ne traggono direttamente ispirazione (o magari ne condividono le 'fonti', come la moda vintage, tra le altre). Da quando me ne sono innamorata, ho cercato di convertire vari amici :')

Naturalmente, non è che proprio tutto ciò che Camomilla Milano vende sia lolitabile: anche se spesso estroso e iper-femminile rimane comunque un brand 'normie'. Detto ciò, sicuramente si possono trovare alcune gemme, ben spendibili per chi veste EGL. Se ne vedete in giro, non lasciatevele scappare!

Ecco alcuni esempi.

"Glossy", la borsa in vernice, con fiocchetto, in grandezze e modelli diversi; è stata proposta diverse volte dal brand nel corso degli anni grazie alla sua popolarità (io ne ho tre!).

Nel 2022 è uscita questa borsa carinissima, ancora una volta con il fiocco come protagonista. Ciliegina sulla torta il dettaglio sull'attaccatura dei manici, che è a forma di fiocchetto! Adorabile.

I modelli con fiocco esistono anche con forme che si vedono un po' meno nella moda lolita, ma allo stesso modo sono davvero carine e si potrebbero ben integrare in un coord.

Per qualche motivo NON riesco assolutamente a trovare stock photos dell'ombrello a sinistra, per cui ho fatto la foto al mio: in realtà dal vivo è rosa antico con pois bordeaux scuro, ma sono colori molto difficili da fotografare e sono troppo pigra per modificarli con Photoshop. Comunque è delizioso, con manico e dettagli in plastica a forma di rosa. Un amore! A quanto pare esiste in diversi colori.  Avrei preso anche quello con il manico a fiocchetto (qui sopra a destra), peccato per le frasi stampate sopra di dubbio gusto (scusami, Camomilla).

...ah...

E' molto difficile trovare foto di accessori lolitabili Camomilla, ma ad ogni modo ne ho visti un sacco in vendita su Vinted, tra cui collane, cinture, anelli con perle, fiocchi, cuori o fiori.
