Nieves Navarro García alias SUSAN SCOTT (born November 11, 1938) is a retired Spanish-born Italian actress and fashion model. Navarro worked extensively in Italian cinema appearing alongside actors such as Totò and Lino Banfi in the 1960s and 1970s. She later adopted the Americanized stage name Susan Scott for many of her productions after 1969. Nieves also had leading roles in a number of action and horror films during this period and was among the protagonists of the film Death Walks At Midnight (1972), directed by Luciano Ercoli, who eventually became her husband. She subsequently moved to Italy with Ercoli where she spent the rest of her career, starring in many of her husband's projects, which ended veering towards Italian erotica and "giallo" cinema. It was in the latter genre that highlighted her as a major star especially her appearances in the Emannuelle series, Emanuelle and the Last Cannibals (1977) and Emanuelle e Lolita (1978), directed by Joe D'Amato[8] and Henri Sala respectively.

Movie Review | Death Walks on High Heels (Ercoli, 1971)

Pleasantly caught off guard by the humour. They movie turns into a lightly comedic police procedural in its second half, and we get such scenes as the cops sobering a man up by slapping him until he throw up, trying to push open a sliding gate, only catching the killer when a bystander conveniently asks an incriminating question when they’re about to haul the wrong man off to prison, and letting the killer pull the most obvious trick in the book to escape. Oh, and there’s the scene where they try to test some hypothesis about bodily decomposition, which includes making the junior cop tie himself up, which takes a long time, and then immediately have to untie himself. The senior cop does not help.
This was made back to back with Death Walks at Midnight, with which it shares some key cast members. I found that this one had fewer lulls but the other finished stronger and probably had a stronger sense of shoot composition, although this still looks very good. Like that movie, the attempts to provide a conventional crime plot explanation prove unconvincing in light of the fetishistic charge of the material. The fact that the wife and mistress look so much alike. The matching boots. The sexually charged scenes of violence.
Also like that movie, Nieves Navarro has such beautiful hair that it’s all the funnier when they stick her with such awful wigs and ‘dos. And as a straight man I certainly won’t complain about the amount of nudity in this movie, although some of that comes at the cost of a really… questionable striptease routine.

Reflecting on her childhood, Catalina couldn't remember a time that she was miserable or sad. She grew up in a good home with her father, mother, older brother and even a hamster at one point as an attempt to teach Catalina about responsibility and taking care of something other than herself. Her parents came to Aurora Bay from Argentina to start a family in a safe, small town and they made sure to shelter their two children against the darkness that clouded the world around them. Catalina grew up sheltered, without worries even if her parents were middle class at best.  Her grades and extracurriculars could get her to an ivy league school if she desired, but was too scared to think about the what was to come next. 
On the precipice of the next phase of life, she met someone who changed her life. It seems cliche to think that a boy could have changed everything for her, but he did. A stupid boy from the wrong side of town, who grew up without a stable family and a stable home came to Catalina when she was at her most lost and what she didn't expect was for Liam to turn her entire life upside down. They started dating, despite objections from the people who knew her best. However, he was there in a way she never expected and even after she decided to stay near for school and go to UCLA in Los Angeles, the two were inseparable as much as possible even if long distance was getting in the way. It seemed that all she had hoped for in her life was finally happening, but things never turned out the way that they had originally hoped.
Catalina would come to find out that Liam had his own demons he had been fighting in secret for so long. His addiction to drugs, something he had kept hidden from her had worsened until she was deeply immersed in it. Her studies and personal life suffered as she helped him through every high and the lows that followed. Every time she had to help him, tore her apart, but it seemed to be getting for better once he had agreed to go to rehab. Things seemed to finally look up for once for the two of them but again she would face disappointment.
With him, she had become the cliche she hated so much and it was only the beginning. Liam would get out of rehab, things would be good for a small moment and then he returned to his former addicted self. Her studies had shown her that being an addict was difficult to break and every time he returned to his bad habits, she felt inadequate in her ability to help him. It was attempt number two of his where her own well being had been affected. The pregnancy test showed two lines and all she had done to get this far in life was ruined. There was only thing to do: an abortion. She had a crisis of faith, but she couldn't have a kid, not with Liam when he was going through his own issues. He would go into rehab and she would take care of it. After that their relationship was never the same.
Somehow, Cat managed to get through school, but her own guilt and shame sent her running back to Aurora Bay. The abortion was something that she had never dealt with and refused to talk about it to anyone, the only person who knew was Liam's brother Lennon and neither would say anything to Liam to avoid triggering another slow descent into hell for him. Worrying about him, she decided to stay in Aurora Bay for grad school, in hopes of being able to take care of him. Each time, he would disappoint her further each time. Catalina thought the third time in rehab would be different, but he eventually turned back to his old habits. Finally, she had enough when she found out Liam had taken her most precious belonging: a necklace that was given to her by her grandmother, an heirloom, all to sell for more drugs.
Finally, Catalina had enough and ended things. It had been the most painful thing she ever had to do and felt a loss that she couldn't describe. Despite her trying to avoid him at any cost, Liam would reach out to her trying to apologize. With every call she felt her defenses fall, but even if it hurt her she wouldn't give him the attention he wanted. Catalina still knew all about his comings and goings, heard about how he had gone to rehab once more and he was out. All Catalina wonders is how long she can keep her guard up before falling into the same patterns as before. @aurorabayaesthetic

Lacas de olinala
la cerámica y la cestería, se han mantenido casi intactas desde el periodo prehispánico, mientras que otras han pasado por cambios significativos en cuanto a su técnica y diseño desde el periodo colonial. Hoy, la mayoría de la producción se encuentra a la venta en centros de turismo como Acapulco, Zihuatanejo y Taxco, donde influye la evolución moderna de la artesanía. Las tradiciones artesanales incluyen la pintura en corteza de amate, las lacas de olinalá y la platería de Taxco.

Reseña del estado en fabricación de la figura
La Declaración de Protección a la Denominación de Origen Lacas de Olinalá fue publicada en el Diario Oficial de la Federación (DOF) el 22 de julio de 2022. La nueva Denominación de Origen (DO) delimita como zona geográfica protegida al municipio de Olinalá del Estado de Guerrero y busca mantener viva la tradición y técnica de laqueado de objetos de madera.
Esta denominación identifica la laca o maque mexicano como una técnica artesanal de origen prehispánico consistente en la aplicación de una mezcla de tierras dolomíticas, grasa animal y aceites vegetales que se extiende (preferentemente) con la palma de la mano en capas uniformes superpuestas sobre la superficie del objeto a recubrir, sean estos guajes, jícaras, bateas u objetos de madera elaborados en el municipio de Olinalá.

Se realiza mayormente con cerámica y se le añade detalladamente figuras representando a las culturas tradicionales del estado de Guerrero.
Las lacas de Olinalá, originarias del estado de Guerrero en México, se elaboran tradicionalmente utilizando madera de linaloe o cedro, así como pigmentos naturales como la grana cochinilla, el añil y el pericón. Estos materiales se combinan con técnicas de barnizado y pintura a mano para crear las elaboradas y coloridas piezas de arte que caracterizan a las lacas de Olinalá.
Para que sirve
La madera que se usa para la realización de los baúles, las cajitas, bandejas y demás objetos decorativos, proviene del árbol de “linaloe”, muy aromático y común en la región. La producción de estas artesanías es de una enorme complejidad y laboriosidad. Sirve para guardar objetos valiosos o joyerías con más valor
En que parte de guerrero se fabrican las lacas de olinala
Este pueblo se encuentra en la zona montañosa del estado de Guerrero y junto con Temalacatzingo, son los centros de producción de estas artesanías realizadas con laca (o maque, como algunos estudiosos lo llaman, para diferenciarlo de otro tipo de lacas industriales).
Quien las creo o que las propone
Francisco  Coronel   Navarro   originario  de   la  ciudad   de   Chilpancingo, Guerrero,  nació  en  el  año 1941,  a  los  siete años de  edad   comenzó a elaborar cajitas  miniatura o  cajas de   vara,    las   llamadas  "Cajas   de Olinalá", para  vender en  las ferias de  Tlapa,  de Tepalzingo, de Tejalpa, Petlalcingo, Chalma, feria   de  las  nieves  o  feria   de  Tuxtla. Durante la década  de  los  setenta,  rescató la  técnica  del  dorado sobre   el  guaje, misma  que  se  había  abandonado por  ser  costoso el  laminado y por  lo laborioso del  proceso, pero  que  data  de  los grandes laminadores de  los retablos coloniales.
