What is your favorite dinosaur anyway

Honestly? Velociraptors have always been my favorite dinosaur.

However watching Jurassic World for the first time made them my ABSOLUTE favorite.

My mom said the pack bond between Owen Grady and the raptor squad was stupid and unrealistic and made the dinosaurs out to be hyper-intelligent (first of all, the whole Jurassic Park series is literal science fiction, so who cares about realism anyway not me lol), but I can't help but wonder if, in a natural setting, a predatory dinosaur raised from a hatchling by a human WOULDN'T bond with the person; or if shown proper respect when encountered in the wild, wouldn't gain a mutual respect for a human.

After all, wild animals still living today (or commonly known to be at least, we won't go in detail about the idea that certain species of dinosaur could still be thriving in the as yet unexplored regions of the world) are quite intelligent for their species and have been known to be quite friendly if shown the proper sort of respect. (This is how I bond with every cat I see - by showing them respect according to cat rules and being accepted into their communities.)

Anyway yeah so that aside, my favorite dinosaur is the Velociraptor and also I want to be Owen Grady. Even though that didn't exactly work out the way it was supposed to, I still want one. Or four.

I wanna grow up to be a crazy velociraptor lady!
