You see this guy? Do you know him?

You might not as he only appeared in one episode physically (169 episodes including Ridonculous Race, 143 excluding Ridonculous Race, and that's not even including DRAMARAMA, the point is he's not even appeared in 1% of all total drama episodes ever made since the show aired in 2007) but this guy is called Beardo

I don't see many posts about Beardo which makes sense as he appeared in less than 1% of all total drama franchise episodes however I'd like to get some Beardo love going!

He has a really cool design

He's great at making sound effect noises

He doesn't speak until his elimination because he's shy

Fun fact he's appeared the least out of anyone in total drama ever with just one episode

He first appeared on our English TV screens on July 7th 2014. That means he'll be ten total drama years old this July!

He is based off Reggie Watts in appearance

His name is actually pronounced "bee air dough" but most characters call him "beard-o"

I really encourage you all to like if you like Beardo, and maybe reblog or reply some Beardo love so we can spread some positivity around this underrated character

Had my first full shift at the bakery/cafe this morning and it's so surreal being employed again after so long. I keep feeling like I'm gonna be asked to leave at any second

and it doesn't help that it doesn't really feel like work? I LIKE baking and while we do need to have stuff done at a certain time, there's no pressure to rush and it's a pretty laid-back environment (though the holidays are probably gonna change that :P)

I do wish it paid better and I'm probably only gonna be working maybe 12-18 hours a week, and I REALLY wish I could digitize the cookbook so everything has consistent units, ingredients are more clearly labelled, I could search for the recipes I need for that day and have it automatically update the recipe depending on which variation and batch size I choose, etc.

but anyway, I got to take home this undersized loafcake we made with the last of the batter, and we can always help ourselves to basically anything that isn't pre-packaged (like sodas or the stuff they have in the little store area) as long as it's a reasonable amount so 👀

#I wish I could grab a couple loaves of challah when I work Fridays but this is not a kosher cafe #and I mean I'm not overly concerned about keeping kosher atm but you don't say a bracha over treif food #the closest stores don't have kosher challah but when I have money I can probably find somewhere that does on my drive home #I'm almost certain it won't be as good as what the bread people make here though 😔 #job stuff

Aquí los viernes horneamos felicidad. ¿Qué te provoca felicidad? A mi estos bocados de panqué recién horneado, este aroma que se impregna y que se alojan en la memoria. Este panquecito es de mandarina 🍊, te dejo la receta por si también quieres ser feliz. 📃Panqué de mandarina 🍊 •250gr de harina @tresestrellasmx cernida •160gr de mantequilla @mantequillagloria temperatura ambiente. •120gr de jugo de mandarina •Mitad de una 🍊 mandarina licuada (puré) •160 gr de de azúcar •4 huevos a temperatura ambiente •2 cditas de levadura química •Chorrito de Vainilla de Papantla •Pizca de sal Batir los huevos hasta que esponjen junto con el azúcar, agregar la mantequilla hasta incorporar perfectamente, poco a poco agrega los secos alternando con el jugo de mandarina. Al final incorporar el puré sin sobrebatir. Hornear a 180ºC en un molde previamente enharinado y engrasado por 40 minutos o hasta que tu casita huela a pan recién horneado. Surprisingly not too sweet. Cake, as the name implies, was moist but still crumbly. The cake to frosting ratio is good too. Almost ate half of the pan in the first 10mins, as you can see in the picture. Hahaha. Chocolate Chip cookies have that mix of crisp parts and soft-crumbly center. It has milk and bittersweet/dark chocolate chips and that combo can never go wrong for me. All in all, its good. Masarap. Good job, friend!
