Guillermo tells us how to feel.

Like, consistently. He is the closest thing we have to an audience surrogate and HE tells us what our baseline expectations should be based on his reaction to the world. Luring virgins to a house of vampires to be murdered? All in a day's work! Chopping them up into bits and burying them in the backyard? Gross, but necessary! Re-deading your ex-wives in a Bachelor parody? Morally questionable but I'm not gonna stop you. Hypnotizing a man so many times his brain explodes and he dies? Sounds sad but can't talk, I'm embezzling and committing fraud atm. WWDITS is close to being an anti-comedy like IASIP or Seinfeld because the main characters are all awful people who commit terrible atrocities, but we DO care about them and their happiness because we are given that baseline to work from and know what to take seriously and what to laugh at.

The reason s4e9 felt so cruel was because Guillermo responded to it that way. Because HE was hurt and HE was upset and the last shot of the episode was his heart breaking on screen!! We are SUPPOSED to feel how he feels!! All season things have been getting better for him; he has been more appreciated and respected and has taken more control of his life and now the rug is pulled out from under him again. He/we are left wondering: Guillermo, what now? Is all this still worth it? Is it time for you to leave?

The vampires, as a rule, NO NOT CARE ABOUT HUMANS. They're livestock and free labor and occasional entertainment, and that's the way it's always been. (We haven't even talked about the fact that Nadja killed Sofia Coppola 😂😂😂) Vamps are too long-lived and jaded and used to killing to live for it to be any other way. Humans are playthings!! Unfortunately, that includes Nandor's wives. It includes Marwa, it includes Guillermo's family, and it includes Freddie. But it's starting to NOT include Guillermo.

Like Nandor, we are supposed to FEEL THE GAME ENDING. He was having fun, making a new human to play with because he was bored of his old one and getting to spend time with his best…man and literally could not compute that any of this would be upsetting to Guillermo. Because why would it? They're only toys, they can always get more. (Here, Guillermo is already held separate and above other humans)

But Guillermo was upset! He was angry! He didn't think it was fun, he didn't think it was a game, and this human was IMPORTANT to him and we see Nandor falter, stumble over his words, get quiet and soft and ashamed. The comedy is over and he stops having fun. And he does his best (best is debatable but he is very stupid) to fix it!!

Idk if these events will be specifically addressed next ep because we have important Colin things to do and there had to have been a decent time skip between Freddie leaving and Memo going to London, but I want to point out that THIS IS THE DARKEST HOUR MOMENT. Nadja is losing her club, Laszlo is losing his boy, Colin is losing his youth, Nandor lost his wife/boytoy and Guillermo's trust, and Guillermo lost his boyfriend and got his heart broken for the upteenth time. Things SUCK FOR EVERYONE right now - and that's the point!! Ep 9 of season 3 ended with Colin Robinson DYING. Next ep, things will start to look up. Right before something insane happens that makes everything SIGNIFICANTLY worse and leaves us on a year-long cliffhanger! 😃 And I for one am excited to see it lmao

(Also Marwa sidenote bc look how they massacred my girl:

I will miss Marwa and I'm sad about her (I know not everyone was fond of her like I was lol but idk if the writers expected anyone to feel a way about her regardless), and I'm left thinking "is this even Marwa?" If she has none of her own memories or body or personality left, can we even consider it her? Does Marwa no longer exist? May be the best outcome for her mental state if she now exists only in 1300s Al Qolindar again lol. But if the wishes get reversed or something else happens to return her to Marwadom I'm hopeful she will pull a Derek and return one day!! Wwdits is well known for bringing back one-off characters, and Marwa was a season regular in like 7/10 episodes so I'm not giving up on her yet... My fanart will continue.)

So even when they are pursuing something, you are on their mind. I think they will realize this and they will make an exception for you after all. But just know your intentions are just as important as theirs so if u desire, don't wait around for them! You can do anything you set ur mind to, so go do it!

I think they will pursue you. Or at the very least they feel a strong want for you 🤭. Although they are hot and cold with it. Sometimes they really want to take action but then other times they may feel some resistance. Originally from outside people or those around them but eventually It could get to them internally and they'd hate to admit it. But I think despite the opinions of others, it's not a big distraction for long for them and they will keep taking steps 😤. They will shake it off and stay focused in time. Their efforts can be presented in a smooth cautious way tho. they don't want to offend you or scare you 😳 (I kept getting mixed up with this and the next pile so there maybe some connections between the two for both groups/their intentions will evolve into the next pile)

I'm trying to pick up more but I feel like it's that simple 😭 they aren't overwhelmed in a negative way. Sure they have a lot of plans or motives but they are secure. They want to pursue you and they are gonna do it but in soft way. I'm getting an ironic visual of someone running really passionately and hard to catch a marshmello. (Do you like marshmallows or fluffy sweet things like hello kitty? lmao) maybe they see you this way. I feel like they are getting all fired up and working hard just to cool off and be gentle (aww😂)

Will they 🤔? I think they don't really know yet. I get they have the spirit but the path is not planned out. They are unsure but it's leaning on yes. Maybe they are waiting for a chance or a opportunity to make their move and get started. They want to take action and might become bold without a prominent warning or sign. Pretty much, they haven't really got it all figured out yet. But they have a feeling that their intentions is something they wanna pursue so they are watching you and looking for an opening to act 😅. I get this frustrates you though but be patient! Good things come to those who wait!

Unfortunately, yeah. That was a whole thing. I was perhaps less than 15 chapters in writing Moth to Flame when it happened. Please don't harass/send that blog any hate in any way, shape or form; I don't condone that or want it. I don't even know if they're active nor do I honestly care about that, but I have to admit, it's pretty fucking disgusting to have people "like" your fics and writing and then plagiarize your work. There's a difference between being inspired by someone's work and then stealing almost everything from it and calling it your own.

The Godfather fandom in late 2021 was a real treat. It's insane to believe I got anon hate/death threats for writing a Michael Corleone x Reader fic lmao. I never had a "monopoly" on Michael fics but I guess the overwhelming popularity of Moth to Flame and attention my blog was getting sparked some insecurities because what else could that be...? 😐 All I wanted to do was interact with people in the fandom after having not been in one since 2014 and share my writing but instead I walked into a cesspool of toxicity and jealousy. That's all I can call it because I don't know wtf these people were on. Still to this day, the same people who sent me anon hate and made me feel unwanted in the fandom make secondary blogs just to follow me and secretly read/interact my fics as if I don't know. 💀💀 Sorry not sorry, but the bullying and harassment in fandoms over the stupidest fucking shit/random opinions and fics is pathetic, disgusting, and needs to stop.

I also never claimed to be "The Godfather authority" or some special shit either, I'm just overanalyzing my hyperfixation and constantly posting about it. 😂 Nowadays I see lots of new people joining our small fandom and just want them to have fun and feel welcomed instead of discovering drama over a 50+ year old film. 🥰 I have a love/hate relationship with The Godfather fandom because I've seen it's nasty side and the people who associated with it that reveled and had fun in spam sending vile, nasty shit to blogs (two of my mutuals deactivated due to this bullying, several others just outright left the fandom).

I literally got a message saying if I kept writing Moth to Flame that it would polarize the fandom, that by accepting/entertaining compliments over my fics/writing I was discreding other writers, and that I would cause people to leave and stop reading other people's fics. 💀 Never saw that much delusion in a fandom before jfc. I've almost been writing fics for three years in The Godfather fandom now and I promise you neither me nor my fics are going anywhere. 🤭❤️ No matter what fandom I write for, I'm here for good so anyone who doesn't like my fics/work can kindly continue scrolling away/don't interact with me or just sit and cry about it because I'm gonna keep writing lol. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Another CoraLaw and AceLu HC ask. And also, shenanigans and fluff.

- Law uses Takt on Cora whenever he's about to trip, knock something over, in the enemy's line of attack and more. But also, he uses them whenever people get too physically close and "friendly" to Cora. Switching Cora with a paper that says "fuck off" infront of the person lmao. Cora teleporting into Law's side/lap and shouting apologies about what Law did even tho he has no plan to get up and go back to the person (Yes I know Cora is too big to fit in Law's lap. No I don't care about that xD). He also uses Takt to keep Cora from escaping him. Especially in arguments.

Law: Either we fix this right now or you'll stay afloat for the next 8 hours.

Cora: You seriously can't wait that long. I was a marine, I can wait!

Law: I'm a doctor AND a surgeon. You wanna test my patience? Do it now.

After 20 minutes Cora relents bc Law stares at him pointedly the whole time.

- Luffy brings Ace with him when he's on the hunt for food. He'll look for a new kind of species and have Ace cook it (AKA set it on fire until it looks cooked). Then, when they're full, they'll sit under a tree and talk about anything. They also take a short nap there under the tree. It reminds them of their adventures when they were kids (Sabo is with them in spirit /j). I think this is more of an AU where Ace joins the Strawhats, and he's joined by the hip with Luffy.

- Everytime one or two (or all) of the Heart crew members does something that will piss Law off, they hide behind Cora (metaphorically). Cora will attempt to distract Law (he doesn't even have to try, the moment Cora is on Law's line of sight almost all of his attention is on him) and calm him down. It works, kinda. Cause his idea of "distracting" Law is cuddles and kisses, but instead of Law, HE'S the one who gets distracted LMAO. So after a bit of cuddling and putting Cora to sleep, Law goes back to the crew cause he knows how the crew acts when they've done something and kept it a secret from him xD. At least Cora brought them some time to clean up whatever they could from the mess they made before Law comes back.

- Ace and Luffy will switch hats, sometimes intentionally and sometimes unconsciously. Intentionally is when one of them is feeling down or under the weather. Unconsciously is when they wake up and don't bother to see if they wore the right hat or not.

- Whenever the other crew members of the Heart Pirates wants to do something for their entertainment, they ask Cora first. If he's interested enough and also wants to do it, then they have an additional 40% chance that Law will let them do what they want. They now have a 42% chance of doing whatever shenanigan they have in mind. If there's no danger to what they have in mind, then it's an automatic win! Bonus is when Law joins in (he does it for Cora).

hooo so many cute hcs!! That last idea of the Heart crew trying to get Cora on their side in bargaining deals with their captain makes so much sense. 😂 Very strategic of them... They're masters of navigating Law's pride/strong instincts of preventing fun.

And I love acelu switching hats... i think i talked on twitter once about how it would mean a lot for luffy to trust Ace with his hat, and for Ace to trust Luffy with his necklace (since it was possibly a tribute to Dadan ;w;)... hhhh sharing accessories!!!

ᕙ( •̀ ᗜ •́ )ᕗ At the home-stretch! Wanted to try to post early, but the last few days have been a bit chaotic.

tl;dr til next bold point - Money issues, and a random ass deer deciding it wants to live rent-free in my yard lmao

So many job interviews while being on/off sick, and then got sent bills for additional things we didn’t anticipate having to deal with (like a giant tree in our front yard the township decided it wants to cut down, but the law in our State is we have to pay??? I’m;??;). So I had to try and sell a bunch of things for quick cash, because they won’t work with us for a payment plan.

Goodbye special edition Pokémon Nintendo Switch, and majority of our games and manga. 😑 (Also why are these town services so expensive????)

I’m incredibly salty. I keep telling myself it’s only monetary goods we can rebuy when we’re not hurting financially, but it’s still upsetting. I hate having to sell stuff. Our savings are pretty much depleted by now, so that’s a looming cloud that’s just the best. /s

Got some positive news about one potential source of income, though, so knocking on wood that that works out. 🤞🏻

Then today we found out a pregnant deer somehow got into our gated backyard and had a baby, and it was in the middle of a rain storm so bad you could barely see. 😵‍💫

For context, I live in a town. Deer like this don’t ever wander around here. I can count on a single hand the amount of times I’ve seen them (and never in our yard!). They’re way, way more common farther up by the river, which is like a half-hour drive, so I guess it wandered and got lost? They just... they don’t live here lmao it’s too many people/cars, no shelter or trees for them to hide, etc.

And I don’t say all that because I’m enamored by the fact that they exist—I’m actually very used to deer being around, due to living in areas where they’re far more common. They would run in huge herds through my parents’ property when growing up, along with bear and the like.

It was just super weird to see one at random when our gates are too tall for them to normally jump???? Like, we don’t even know how she got in?? The baby deer couldn’t get out on its own, we had to help them both leave and stay united, and also panic that they don’t go running into a street with cars. @w@

So that was fantastic way to start the day, being in the heavy rain with a dog that I had to walk, and being surprised by and then advanced on by an angry/panicked mother deer. I don’t need to be trampled lmao and right after I woke up, sans coffee 😂 It was a good thing I had my dog on a leash for all parties involved lmao

It’s one of those weeks where it’s like, what else can happen?

Also, for those wondering, yes, both deer are fine.

Now, the positives! Got a lot of editing done last night. Went through over half of the chapter, making it more coherent and trimming fat. Only a small chunk left to go, and then I can post and start drafting the next chapter. Got a bunch of ideas for that, but I’m trying to figure out how far I can stretch things before the fighting/action-scenes begin again. I don’t want to have another mini arc turn into a full-blown ten chapter episode (thank you again, Shinsou). 😂 But there are a few things I want to touch on before we get to the 1-VS-1s. I hope it will be entertaining!

Also had to redo my embedded blockquotes all over again (Thank you AO3 for not following my inputted HTML every time I Save Draft.) lol, so I’m really hoping mobile-readers are going to be okay 🥲 It’s actually worse than the chapter with Aizawa’s learned packet breakdown. OTL If it’s not easily legible when posted, I sincerely apologize!! I tried for a ridiculously long time to make it work 😭

I’m not going to do deep-set blockquotes going forward. This was it lmao. I understand now why most people just create graphics and embed them into their work 😭💀 Rich Text to HTML conversion was hard enough already. (Why did I make so much more work for myself? lol I always seem to do this. 😂)

Stray Kids — ahhhhh, i'm right there with you with Chan!! he's just so hot and sweet and goofy and dateable?? Hyunjin and Minho are absolute menaces, too! my twitter tl being filled with pictures of Hyunjin because people missed him during his hiatus was one of the first things that made me pay attention to Stray Kids 😂 and Minho is gorgeous always, but he’s been looking real good lately—i think i may have actually paid more attention to him than to Chan when i watched Winter Falls

in terms of wreckers, for me: Changbin has so much of my attention, i'm not even sure if he's wrecking me or just straight up picking up bias shifts when Chan needs a break. Jeongin is well on his way to becoming A Problem, too—i love big hands and boys with a mean streak 😵‍💫 and i think i’m starting to really see how Seungmin operates as a wrecker—i thought he was just a cute, soft-spoken lil puppy at first, but seeing him flirt with older idols and be a bit of a brat has me 🥴

Ateez — my bias is unquestionably Hongjoong and that's one hundred percent because of kingdom 😭; i don’t think i've been properly wrecked yet, but Seonghwa, Wooyoung, and Yeosang have definitely caught my eye since then 👀 i also know it’s only a matter of time before Mingi and Yunho get to me, too—i’m so weak for tall babes 😩

Mamamoo — i didn't have a bias for a verrrrrry long time, but i think Wheein has just very slightly edged the other girls out—it's very much a Seventeen situation, tho, in that i feel like i'm just constantly being bounced back and forth. Hwasa has a very special place in my heart, tho—i heard her solo stuff before i heard Mamamoo as a group, and she's the reason i got into them in the first place💕

soloists: ahhhhhh, IU and Taemin!! i love them, too!!!! i've been meaning to pay attention to Sunmi and Woodz as well (i’m seen some interesting comparisons about Sunmi and Hyuna both using their work to critique the idol/entertainment industry and the way it treats (specifically female) idols and their bodies in different ways that has me really wanting to dig deeper; i don’t know anything about Woodz, except i think i’ve seen him hang out with Hongjoong in a couple gif sets? but people whose taste i trust say his music slaps and that's honestly enough for me)

some of my favorite soloists (we might be edging out of kpop a little with some of these, but that's fine)

eaJ !! (i love!! this man!! i love that he looks like chicken little and literally made that part of his brand and now he can never shake that!! i love that all his songs are too short and too good!! i love that even as we acknowledge the inherent fakeness and persona wrapped up in being an entertainer, he always comes off as very real in a way that seems almost in spite of himself sometimes, and that there's something in his goofy rambling and playful antagonism that feels very familiar and comfortable to me—i laughed until i cried when he yelled at the crowd for meme-ing him at HITC, and then i just cried when he sang 50 Proof 🥺)
