Considering how many people liked the post about the random saw headcannons I will now be giving saw headcannons. Today’s topic is flowers.

Mark Hoffman likes white roses but only one to three. He hates bouquets and doesn’t really use any for decoration. Like he probably won’t put it on his desk it’ll be on the counter at home. He doesn’t really put them in water either. My man doesn’t know much about plants. He used to send flowers to his sister and they’d send bouquets back and forth but when she passed he just didn’t like bouquets much anymore. He still realizes the meaning of gesture though so that’s why he still enjoys white roses.

Amanda Young likes orchids and irises. She kinda knows some stuff about flowers, she could tell you the meaning of different roses but she can’t keep it alive. But she thinks the act of giving flowers is special. If she gives you flowers you best look into what the flowers mean in that bouquet because it’s a message.

Lawrence Gordon can never pick one flower it changes a lot, but he’s never liked roses. He’ll go from liking peonies to lilies my guy just cannot decide. But if you give him one of those assorted bouquets he will do his damn hardest to keep it alive. He loves to have little succulents around the house but he’s not very good at taking care of them, usually it’s by accident. He got the wrong soil or didn’t know they didn’t need that much water. He’s trying his hardest.

Adam Stanheight thinks flowers are dumb but secretly loves sunflowers. Sucks at growing plants and knows nothing but he remembers the names like crazy. He knows the name of a chrysanthemum but has 0 clue what it looks like. His mom probably sends him flowers and that’s the only reason he knows the names.

Peter Strahm likes bluebells. No I cannot explain why. He doesn’t like to take care of plants but he can. He’s crazy good at it. But he’s so busy the main thing he has time for is probably a Cactus or an Angel light. He does not trust Walmart plants. His mom 100% sends him flowers.

Lindsey Perez likes Tiger Lillies and probably daisies. She’s got a little green room/sunroom in her place and reads in there or does some simple hobbies there. She’s probably trying painting the plants she has. Home girl wants to do the relaxing things around her plants. She’s too stressed and wants plants and painting to help fix it.

John Kramer likes poppys and marigolds. Marigolds used to be his wife’s favorite and that’s why he liked them. He just couldn’t part with the flower even though they parted. Poppy’s just make him happy. Bro sucks at keeping plants alive. Yes he tried talking to his plants cause he thought that worked, he stopped when he realized it wasn’t working. He doesn’t really keep plants cause 1) he doesn’t want to take care of them 2) he doesn’t have time.

Jill Tuck used to love marigolds and that’s why John did too. But now when she sees a marigold she practically gets sick to her stomach thinking about everything. She says she likes daisies now but really just says that to pacify those who ask. She doesn’t do flowers much anymore. She tried to take care of plants as a way to cope with the loss of her unborn son but it didn’t help her so she just didn’t have an interest after that. But she does include flowers in some of her hobbies like if she does embroidery or something.

Some fun facts: - This list is not quite in order of when the first usages of these names appeared, but it's pretty close. - Assuming I caught everything and did the math correctly, Trent's daughter has been mentioned by name in 192 fics! For reference, Trent has been tagged as a character in 395 and does not actually appear in some of those, so she's really named in over 49% of the fics he's in. - Of the approximately 77(!) names used, ~33 have been used in multiple fics (including several series), and ~21 of those have been used by multiple different authors. - Seraphina and Georgie are tied for most usages (18 each) but when it comes to usages by the most authors, Seraphina (probably unsurprisingly, given how many people have been inspired by a kind of dwell and welcome) wins in a landslide with 15.

Well, it seems we're not getting a canon name! I guess she's our daughter now. I haven't decided whether I'm going to maintain this list going forward (though for my own sanity I'm leaning towards no) but at least it's fully up to date as of 7:30 pm est today (May 31, 2023).

Some "final" statistics: The numbers aren’t perfect, because there were a few names I grouped together and probably should have counted separately, and a few names I counted separately and probably should have grouped together, and those may or may not have balanced out, but keeping that in mind, about 110 names were used! About 49 were used in multiple fics (including individual installments in several series) and about 35 of those were used by multiple authors. Trent’s daughter has been mentioned by name in about 298 fics by 149 authors. This includes works in which she’s mentioned but doesn’t show up as a character, but doesn’t account for works in which her existence is mentioned but not by name. How do each of the singers in UG interact with their fans? (if at all)

thea - she's super chill around fans, though it can be a bit overwhelming if they bring up nathan. usually gets told that he's a bit scary to approach, but thea reassures her fans that they're always ok to come up to her and talk.

eva - super shy but very appreciative if anyone who comes up to talk to them!!! gets embarrassed easily though and will bluescreen if xey're thrown just 3 compliments.

peter - doesn't talk to fans v much, but he's chill w it. he's normally more comfortable talking to them if carter's around, but they try avoiding fans altogether when they're alone.

carter - enthusiastic to talk! loves talking abt how fun it is to be a part of the group and is super grateful for the fans. she usually talks to fans w peter to make them feel more comfortable.

mateo - LOVES talking to fans, esp in a jokingly flirty way. whenever someone actually tries asking him out though, he gets super embarrassed and shuts that down VERY quickly.

lily - doesn't talk to fans, but if she encounters one, she just takes a quick selfie or signs a quick autograph and gets tf out of there.

estrella - they're ok w a bit of small talk, but she's also SUPER busy as a manager and can never stay for long. she usually stays longer than she wants to bc of seth.

seth - likes talking to fans and usually gets distracted for so long that stella has to pull him out of whatever group he's in to get him to work again.

adam - usually "interacts" w fans by being charismatic, and only sometimes flirty, while performing on stage. he likes to keep himself mysterious as a figure, even though he's the co-owner of divine records

nathan - loved talking to fans!! it was his favorite part of the experience other than making his own songs.

There’s three beats in the Thoroughbreds screwdriver scene, that come one after the other and make this the saddest scene in any movie ever:

1. Lily posing the question about whether Amanda’s life matters. Olivia Cooke staring into space, with these sad, wide eyes, combined with Anya Taylor Joy’s voice being all teary. We as an audience may have been secretly asking that question all along, but now that it’s out in the open it feels cruel and sad and it’s a lot easier to sympathise with Amanda.

2. Amanda falling asleep after drinking the screwdriver, leaving Lily alone. Amanda was Lily’s only real friend and this is the moment when she truly leaves her.

3. Lily hearing Amanda snoring. It’s the most human thing Amanda does in the whole movie, and suddenly she seems so sweet and innocent asleep on the sofa, and you just know Lily is regretting her decision, but it’s too late now.

Kaylo Crescendo's Court of Children

(This is a DIFFERENT Kaylo. Not the one from my Balan Wonderworld stories)

So, I had this idea in my head for a while now, and it involves Kaylo, and the idea of her having a court, since she's the ruler of a kingdom. This however is no ordinary court. This consists of various children from throughout the Multiverse. So, I'm gonna list them out here.

Rules of the Court:

Any Child that joins the court MUST be at or under 16 years old (it's the Court of CHILDREN. Not teens or adults.)

The only people that know about the Court HAVE to be close to said Child (parents, close friends, family) other than that it's a complete secret (at least from mortals)

All kids in the court must take the "Immortal Promise" (A special pinkie Promise like ritual that ensures that a child freezes in the aging process. They can not, and WILL not age, as long as they have this promise

KEEP IN MIND! The list isn't complete, and more names will be added, so don't be surprised if the list looks longer

Tibby how you pitch thoroughbreds to someone wkth zero prior knwowldge?like I know I tried it due to being overhwkmed with your posting but I want to pitch to someone who doesn't exist in the circles we do

like. on a filmmaking level it is just a genuinely well made movie. the acting (unsurprising that i find anya to be a gift in it but NOBODY does emotional repression and stuntedness the way olivia cooke does and man. what else is there to say about anton yelchin that hasn't been said?), the script is quick and clever, the editing is incredible, the score is *chef's kiss* and the cinematography perfectly encapsulates the vibe of opulent wealth but everything is slightly...off.

on a narrative level, it's just...a perfectly twisted love story in which there are no winners in the traditional sense, but nobody really loses either. like perhaps talking about it in tumblr speak is going against how to market it to someone outside of our circles but. thoroughbreds is ultimately a story about meeting the person who understands you in all the right ways, but also all the wrong ways. the person who will love you at your worst and know who you truly are, but who will also feed into your worst impulses and will push you to be the person you have tried so hard not to be. honesty and love and genuine understanding all come at a cost, and the cost is the person who is honest with you and loves you and genuinely understands you. it is a story about horrible teenage girls doing horrible things and not fully grasping the sacrifices they have to make until it's too late. privilege and power and self preservation protect lily but they are the things that make it impossible for her to find constant and true happiness, however fucked up it might be, with amanda.

thoroughbreds is witty and well made and showcases the great talent of several young actors and a crew that give it a unique and refreshing feel despite the ties to the likes of heathers. but it is also a love story in the worst way possible.
