I think it's so weird that there are multiple romcom movies and romance novels about romance writers who get in trouble with their fan base when it comes out that they've never been in love... are there really romance readers who think like that?? maybe it's just because I'm so deep in fanfic culture where lots and lots of writers are aspec myself included but I find that mindset incomprehensible. do you also expect mystery and thriller writers to have experience with murder???

#personally I would RATHER read romance by people who don't partake

He tells a woman he's interested in that "Arsène Lupin is and can be no one but Arsène Lupin; and not even a memory can exist between you and him."

He's a con man. He's usually very honest. He's a thief. He's a heroic figure. He's admired even by his opponents. No one really knows him. I'm losing my mind.

A lot of the time when I see people talk about aromanticism they bring up the way a lot of us tend to think that romance is just exaggerated in fiction and are surprised that people feel that way in real life and not just in the movies and that's honestly kind of funny, imagine just going about your life and one day finding out that most people's high school years were actually like disney channel and you're the exception

I'm sure I don't really need to post this here since this is the acab website and also people here have compassion for unhoused people but please. if you notice something weird at the library (or any public place really). PLEASE talk to staff about it. please don't jump straight to calling the fucking police. at worst that escalates the situation and at best it leads to confusion. what is wrong with some people

#I mention the homeless thing just because when things like this come up it's almost always related to that :/ #like obviously if there's a fire or something call 911 even if someone else probably already has. better safe than sorry #but if there's a tent behind the building? we probably already know about it and are having conversations about how to handle it! #take a second and ask yourself if your discomfort is really that urgent
